Please do not assume I am asking if "you got really rich from BTC". For example, has Bitcoin/Crypto changed the way you shop, or earn weekly income? Has BTC helped you feel more optimistic and excited about the future? etc. I am getting started late compared to many others, but I see many great days ahead. Thanks for being here at the forum!

Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life?

First, welcome to the forum, as you are barely a day old. If you plan on staying here long, I will advise you to familiarize yourself with how the forum works, starting with the rules and a lot more. Over to the main question: I just find this question similar to the one on my local board. In short, Bitcoin has changed the way I view the words "finance, earning, and asset." It has also been of great help to me in numerous ways. And about the earning part of it, yeah, I'm currently being paid in bitcoin every week, as the case may be, and I also get a few items for which I make payment using bitcoin.

If you don't deeply live with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, no big change in your life but there are people who receive salary in Bitcoin / cryptocurrency so they will use what they received for long term holding as investment or use it for expense. With those people, blockchain technology, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency change their lifestyle in aspect of how they make spending.

It is not mandatory that they already got richer with Bitcoin / cryptocurrency, just how they replace cash, bank transfers by cryptocurrency transactions.

It’s true that there are those that came when the price of bitcoin was worth nothing and go good profit for believing in the future of bitcoin but you should also know that It’s never too late to get involved with bitcoin and still make good profit from it, that is if you’re willing to learn and also understand how it works and not have the get rich quick mindset.


In terms of knowledge, managing my finances, privacy and security, conducting proper research and also how to handle my investments, all has exponentially increased since when I came to Bitcointalk and also got to know bitcoin properly for what it is and getting rid of my previous mindset towards bitcoin.
Op, if you’re ready to learn then you’re going to get the best out of Bitcointalk but if you’re the type with a dogmatic mindset you won’t be able to get anything here.

Welcome to the forum, brother! Most of the people here in the forum really benefited from Bitcoin; it helped their lives or even changed their lives because of it. Lots also here in the forum say that is their main income right now, and they just established a business as their other source of income, but the capital comes from Bitcoin. On my end, it really helped me financially ever since I was able to experience those things that I couldn't experience before because we were just poor people. That is why I am thankful for it for the past few years and also for the upcoming future.

Absolutely, first I was amazed by the technology behind Bitcoin, since I am into technology, let's say a tech guy, the way I look at the future became big especially when I was introduced to Bitcoin and my financial life.
By means of financial life, I have learned so many things because of Bitcoin like how money works, how the different market works, the government, and the bank, and how I am saving more money and became wise when spending.

Well, to be honest, I don't like a lot of people who exaggerate bitcoin or who are too fanatical about bitcoin and say outrageous things about bitcoin. But there is no denying that bitcoin has been helping a lot of people change their lives including me.

Since investing in bitcoin, I have not only improved financially, but also helped me realize the downsides and harms of banking and fiat. Bitcoin tells me about our knowledge of financial freedom or the importance of privacy, which governments have sought to hide from us for hundreds of years. I actually admit bitcoin has given me a completely different perspective on my life.

Bitcoin has really changed my life in so many ways because I have gotten a lot of knowledge here on bitcoin blockchain network and how to go with my bitcoin journey without a problem. It has helped improve my financial status and I have achieved something great for adopting bitcoin. I am no longer scare of the nearest future because my bitcoin investment will take care of it. I no longer keep my funds in the bank anymore due to high rate of inflation in my country but rather,I convert it to bitcoin so that inflation wouldn't devalue my funds. I am planning on buying a house with bitcoin soon. Bitcoin is indeed a life changer.

The answer is a big Yes. That's how I feel after passing through 2015 until now. Before that year, I didn't know anything about Bitcoin but started collecting satoshi after satoshi playing faucet. And it means a lot to me because from there, I learned to trade, invest in Bitcoin and gamble ;D

For sure is that I can earn money trading etc by using crypto and it is still going on today. I'm still optimistic and excited to face the future but still looking for other sources of income. Many people have proven this until they can get money from what they do in crypto.

You are not too late to start, especially now that the market is experiencing a decline. There are many predictions that in the next year or 2025, the price of Bitcoin will rise to a very high level. And if you start now, you have the opportunity to get big profits in the future.

Besides the obvious financial benefit of number going up, Bitcoin is what got me to be totally hooked and interested in investing and finance in general, and anarcho-capitalist stuff. It was the perfect timing as I doubt I'd be interested in finance/investing in such an early stage of my life if it wasn't for some technological and financial advancement that is Bitcoin.

Yes of course I am optimistic bitcoin will go up in price in the future. Bitcoin will help fulfill dreams.

Since you are a latecomer to Bitcoin, still if you invest and hold for a long period of time, you can expect to make huge profits in the future. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is slightly lower, you can buy and hold Bitcoin now if you want. You have to keep in mind that investing in Bitcoin is risky. And success cannot be achieved easily without taking risks.  If you want to succeed in Bitcoin, you have to invest with risk.

The decentralization part of Bitcoin is the most important for me.

If I use bank and want to withdraw big amount of money, they will ask me some questions e.g. what's my job, how much I earn monthly, what's the purpose I withdraw my money, give some delay etc that will wasting my time.

But with Bitcoin, no one will interrupt me since I use decentralized exchange.

I have rarely paid directly with bitcoin. When I have wanted to buy something and use my satoshis it has usually been after converting to fiat money or buying gift cards. There have been a few times when the good or service I wanted to buy accepted payment in bitcoin and I paid with it.

It hasn't caused any big changes in my life.

It has caused me to be better off than if I had no bitcoin, yes, and I think I am gradually getting better as I accumulate more, but I don't feel like a big change, except sometimes in the bull market, but the last one was short-lived.

The introduction of Bitcoin opened up the floodgate for the coming in of cryptocurrency into the global market hence we are witnessing the immense growth of this industry all over the world which means that all type and kind of digital assets mushroomed all over with the downside of scams and frauds also taking place. Always positive about this development, I am looking at Bitcoin as an available option for anyone looking at its potential and as a way to be a safe haven as we are witnessing in some countries experiencing runaway inflationary pressures. On a personal level, I am not yet rich with Bitcoin but one thing for sure it has become a major factor in my financial life which always brings me to my conviction that it is an empowering agent people can use for many uses.

If you meant interruption in the crypto<->fiat process, then what you described doesn't rely mostly on Bitcoin's decentralization, but on the peer-to-peer nature of the DEX you're using. You can literally sell almost any half-decent centralized crypto on a p2p DEX and you'd achieve the same result.

It's not too late as long as you have a strong desire to explore bitcoin because I once felt as if I was late compared to those who came a year earlier than me.

Many changes have occurred and are helped because of bitcoin. I discovered a lot of new, broader knowledge because of bitcoin especially how money works and how I take advantage of market opportunities that I previously only knew on a small scale.
Before getting to know the world of bitcoin, for me people who work in banks are great people who understand well how money works and people who keep money in banks are classified as elite people, apparently all of that is not.

Since getting to know bitcoin, it turns out that there is a better system than a bank system that provides convenience and freedom in dealing with transactions. When I make a transaction, I don't have to queue like doing a queue at a bank.

Yes it did. Bitcoin helped me to understand the financial system. Thanks to bitcoin, now I understand why having sound money is important. I learned a lot about technical analysis, stocks, commodities and bonds. I was probably going to study these topics anyway but bitcoin quickened the process so I can't thank bitcoin enough. The most important investment lesson I learned from bitcoin is, "dollar cost averaging". Investing on a monthly or weekly basis is the most fool-proof method to make money on the markets. Bitcoin also helped me to buy/sell some stuff which is normally impossible for me to buy/sell because of the payment method limitations. Bitcoin removes borders.

As you said, many great days ahead, that's how others and I feel that have started first.
Being rich or not depends on how a person manages his money and the standard of being rich is different for everyone, so it's true that there's no need to question it.
Personally, I have experienced a very big change in myself after getting to know Bitcoin, the most influential is an increasingly optimistic mindset that in the future I will be able to do better and a lot.
It's not too late in my opinion, you can start in earnest and even make it possible for you to surpass many people.

Yes, it completely changed the way I spend and also look at money. I have now started to "save" more money, because I have new goals to save for, namely financial freedom for my family.

Life has become so expensive with inflation skyrocketing and fuel prices going through the roof. The high interest on debt are killing the middle class and the rich are getting richer. (Bitcoin has been one of the only investments that killed inflation)  ;)

Bitcoin has has not changed my life but improved it. My earnings are in BTC which means my financial life is stable now. But still in slight ups and dumps I have to face some difficulties but I am so optimistic about BTC that I bear the loss and remain still until market goes up. And always try to do DCA. Because DCA helps us to get more satoshies.

My thoughts about BTC are so optimistic and I think BTC is going to make another ATH in 2025. Now by the grace of Allah Almighty I managed to Invest my first $1k in BTC and now I will see how my investment will come out. Finger are still crossed but I did not played gamble here because I have good knowledge and TBH I am doing holding so I will be ok.

You are welcome to the forum. Hope you will enjoy your stay here and achieve your goals. But you should note that the best goal to have for now is to learn about bitcoin and the forum. Some people earn bitcoin and they use it to take care of their basic needs. This set of people will agree that the currency has changed the way that they spend. Others are traders that make money from exchanging bitcoin for other currencies and the other way around. Their daily or weekly earning has changed the way they shop or spend.

While other people buy or earn Bitcoin with no intention of spending it now. They have plans for their accumulation, methods of holding, and when to sell. This set of people sees the future of bitcoin and is optimistic that they are securing their future. They believe that bitcoin has the potential of contributing to their financial upliftment. Bitcoin promotes privacy and decentralization, but some questions would reduce these benefits.

We can accept that Bitcoin can change a person's life, because when an unemployed person invests Bitcoin, he has a place to earn monthly or weekly. For example when I was not joining this crypto I didn't have any income and I didn't have any site to make money. I could not earn any money weekly or monthly but had to live with money from my family which was really sad for me. But when I am related to Bitcoin and work patiently for a long time and one time I can earn some amount of money from here. And the amount of money I can earn monthly or weekly now makes me happy which has really changed my life a lot with this Bitcoin. So I've always loved Bitcoin and I see it as an asset because Bitcoin has changed some of the continuity of my life. If you want to fulfill your future dreams by investing this Bitcoin, then it is definitely possible because we can definitely earn a lot from Bitcoin, it is possible to change a person's life by investing in Bitcoin.

The best thing with Bitcoin is that you can continue to do your job or business and along with it you can invest in Bitcoin. I have a full time job and Bitcoin is my side business, so far its a smooth journey. I don't recommend anyone to leave his job for Bitcoin rather adopt it as side business and trust me you will love the additional income coming rom it. One bonus thing is weekly payment coming from this forum from signature campaign.

Bitcoin isn't something like a side business, you're only invest in Bitcoin and wait until bull run, along to reach the bull run you're not doing anything with your coins. But I agree with your last sentence because it could help someone else financial.

in reality there must be people who feel helped by the existence of bitcoin such as getting benefits from investing in bitcoin and there are those who experience losses because of investing in btc, and the cause of investment losses in btc is usually due to a lack of knowledge.

to be honest, I personally feel helped by the existence of btc, and my economy is increasing with the existence of btc because I invest in it. so of course there has been a big change in my life since i invested in btc because my economy is getting more advanced.

First getting to know Bitcoin made me understand how important an investment is because until now Bitcoin was considered more as an investment asset than as a currency, and when we want to start investing then it will really help us to be able to improve the economy for the better slowly.
But no less important will the presence of Bitcoin is to make its holders have decentralized assets and can use them for online transactions without having to rely on a centralized platform that can often freeze the assets of its users when the platform considers there are suspicious things, while Bitcoin will make we are free from such things unless we use custodial wallet which not only can make they freeze our assets but we also don't have access to PK which is the key to the security of our assets.

I can see this is your first post on this forum, and if this is likely to be a survey, then Yes, Bitcoin have really been a life changer for me ever since I joined this forum, and started earning a certain fraction of it weekly. Because without this Satoshi's invention, I just wonder how life would have been for majority of people here on & off this forum, as Bitcoin has been one currency that saved people from inflation, control over their funds and made many millionaires who grabbed into it at it's early stage, and still about to make more people future millionaires for those who could key into it now and be patient to hold for the next 10yrs.

Bitcoin is indeed a potential asset, but no matter how good it is, it is still an investment and an investment will have losses and gains. I mean, it cannot give us a steady source of income so it would be foolish for someone to consider bitcoin investment as the main source of income. Furthermore, due to the volatility and unpredictability of bitcoin, there is no guarantee that it will always be profitable for us, so never completely depend on it. Even those who have been successful with bitcoin always have a main outside job and bitcoin is still just an additional source of income.

Without Bitcoin, I would never be who I am today.

I was broke for years and in bad debt. My parents would always criticize my path and direction because of being unstable and not following their traditional footsteps in getting a stable office job like my younger sisters are.

I tried to prove them wrong by entering into the network marketing industry while keeping my work-at-home unstable freelance online work. I have given it all for years.

But I’ve failed. I was used and being treated like a clown. Long story.

When Bitcoin reached $10,000 for the first time last 2017, I knew I had to change direction that it was my only chance to turn my life around. Not because I can’t afford, but I’ve seen the opportunity.

So I gave up network marketing and started getting serious into Bitcoin, crypto and Web3 stuff. But things have gone downhill. As I entered, my network marketing “uplines” and “crosslines” don’t like it and told me to stop Bitcoin and continue doing better in the MLM industry.

But that’s not where my heart and passion is. Bitcoin and crypto is the calling.

I kept learning while maintaining my unstable freelancing career and also earned sats as an esports blog contributor. Then I got unfriended by many because of spreading words to various group chats that I am now promoting Bitcoin scams.

I know that they’ve misunderstood while I do. But I’ve kept going.

I kept looking for opportunities until I’ve learned about airdrops and bounty programs. That’s the beginning of turning my life around and finally had success.

Even during the bear market, I keep on learning new stuff, implementing new skills and getting into various opportunities in the crypto space over the years. I’ve traveled into multiple countries just to attend conferences, summits, events, etc., that gained me even more experience. 

That’s what made me who I am today. A Web3 educator, community builder keynote and panel speaker, KOL and ambassador, etc., and my parents have nothing to argue about it anymore. My doubters went silent until today.

It’s all because of Bitcoin and I give credit to that.

I'd say it had a significant impact, but largely indirectly, I guess. I've learned a lot about cryptos and about the economy that I probably would not have otherwise known, I got much more interested in following the news that are related to global economy as well. Moreover, I've learned about scams, basic security, became more mindful of my digital footprint. There were times when Bitcoin really helped me financially as well, hard times.
I don't think it made me more optimistic about the future, but it surely made me more aware of the flaws of traditional financial institutions.

Many people share their success stories with Bitcoin here, and listening to their success stories I can guess that behind every success story there is a failure story. I have gained a lot from bitcoin that I probably wouldn't have done at this time if I hadn't been involved with bitcoin. And that's why I said behind every success story there is a failure story because when I first invested in Bitcoin I didn't succeed from there but I lost most of my money because at that time I invested without having any idea about the market, Later, when I realized that I was foolish to invest without having enough understanding about investing, I realized my mistake and started studying about investing and trying to understand the market. Later when I got a good idea about the market I started investing again with some amount and that investment was successful for me. By investing in the second phase I was able to achieve the amount of profit I expected. Then gradually I increased my investment amount and till now my investment is running. I have gained a lot from Bitcoin in this long journey.

Bitcoin has helped me pay for a lot of things I needed. Currently, it is helping me to pay bills and to have progress with my savings. Bitcoin has helped me feel financially in control as I have a source of income that is outside of my normal wage from working, hence I don't feel financially threatened when unexpected expenses appear out of nowhere. I feel more at ease knowing that I have savings, and investment that will help me even as I grow old and retire from my work.

Welcome to the forum mate,  just a quick correction of some notions you carry about Bitcoin which are the mentality of bitcoin being a get rich scheme,  that type of mentality could lead to misunderstanding pf what bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are,  because when it comes to Bitcoin,  the chances of getting rich quick is highly slim since Bitcoin is already at the pick of it value increase and won't do any price pump that can make you become 10x richer and also it depend on the amount of bitcoin you are holding to determine how much percentage you earn when the price move upward at some point.

I won't entirely deny the fact that Bitcoin have change a lot of it holders financial status and most of those who bought Bitcoin when Bitcoin was around $3k or even at 15k and have a good amount of bitcoin their already is huge profits,  so the bottom line is that,  for you to be able to accumulate enough gain,  you need to hold your Bitcoin for the long term base.

I will advise that you should not think much about what bitcoin has done for many and what it will do for you. Study bitcoin first and try to invest in it. You are somewhat late but the timing is perfect. You can join the bandwagon now and I bet you will be equal or better than someone who join during the 2021 bull run.
Bitcoin must surely change your life if you are able to witness one halving and bull run. Just buy and hold you can be lucky, you don't know how near the bull run is.

Exactly, Before I got to know about Bitcoin, I was wondering how and when I will own a plot of land, basically an investment in real Estate, this is because of the amount of money that is involved, To buy a plot of land in my countryside it will cost me close to millions or millions in my local fiat currency, but Bitcoin came and solved that problem for me and I started my investment with BTC and with little amount of even earlier than expected.

I may not have started any investment had landed property happens to be the only available option for me aside Gold.
I admit the fact that Bitcoin has made significant changes in my life.

Economically, Bitcoin has helped make changes in my life, as long as I have been involved in Bitcoin investment, I have been able to get a lot of profit. My view on Bitcoin has changed old habits in saving money, I used to be a bank customer who kept some money there. After getting to know Bitcoin, I prefer to find a safe place to keep my money. Assets in the form of Bitcoin can be controlled by myself without the interference of other parties, I can also make transactions quickly to buy goods from merchants who accept payments in Bitcoin.
I have experienced many things on the positive side while getting to know Bitcoin, the experience I described above is a small part of what I have experienced.

I've only started to feel the change from bitcoin ever since one of the self-proclaimed miners told me about bitcoin in general that bitcoin would be so valuable in the future.

Yeah, of course. I take the example when everyone is limited in terms of local economic activity because of government policies, I look for alternatives to support the economy that had no limits. That's bitcoin jobs, I love this ecosystem, they pay me more than they deserve.
I can't count how many bitcoins I've spent, basically I've bought a few things I've wanted for a long time with bitcoin earnings (although they're not very useful, lol).

I can say for sure that bitcoin influenced and changed some of my ideas about technology, finance, and of course, thanks to this, I ended up on this forum, about which I can say with absolute certainty that it has already become a part of my life.

Bitcoin inspires confidence in the future that with the help of this it will be possible to maintain financial independence, at least partially. Either way, it brings an element of optimism to the future, which will turn out to be just terrible if CBDC prevails.

It is unlikely that many will answer you that bitcoin has changed the way they shop. There will be significantly fewer such people among users than investors. That is, I can say that bitcoin has changed the way people save their savings.

Welcome here in the forum, It's actually really nice to have you here and you're free to communicate with anyone as well. First, you don't need to compare yourself to others since we all have different pace and situation before joining and learning BTC. Bitcoin has helped a lot of people already but of course some also loss a lot. For me, bitcoin has helped me to save my money from inflation not only that I could get extra money or profit by just simply investing my spare money but also getting some funds for emergency cause why not right? I'm not even too greedy to aim for a high value of profit as long as I could buy my essential needs. So I could buy my needs plus having extra money so I could say that I'm financially free due to BTC.

Yes, Bitcoin has helped me more than anyone in this life, everything I have ever achieved in this life was through Bitcoin and crypto investment in general, I faced a lot of challenges when I started knowing about crypto years ago and it was never a easy journey, I had to sorice of income, and this makes it even harder.

If you are just starting I will like if you listen to my advice.

1. Do not borrow money to invest in Bitcoin.

2. Plan longterm investment, this is how you will make the most out of your Bitcoin investment.

3. Only invest what you can afford to lose because, Bitcoin is a volatile asset, it goes up and it also loses value too.

4. Use a non-custodial wallet like Electrum to store your Bitcoin and do not share your recovery seed with anyone, keep it private.

5. All you need after is a lot of patience, There will be fear stages because of the bear market where you will feel like giving up, but it's only a matter of time, it will pass.

Throwback to when I knew nothing about bitcoins, my idea of life has always been that money can only be made from the career path we choose from school or from the physical skills we have. Bitcoins existence forced me to change that mindset. Also in terms of investments, the original investment opportunity is only available to you when you have a good amount of money already kept for it. Before you invest in real estate, you need money to purchase it, before you invest in stocks also, money was required etc.

With bitcoins, you can start investing with the amount you have and can spare, you do not need to also start big once, you can steadily and consistently invest . Bitcoin investment has created big opportunities that can change life.

When it comes to my purchases I still make a great deal of them with fiat, but whenever I have the chance I pay with bitcoin, I know that bitcoin will reevaluate itself at some point on the future but it is also important to use it as a currency as that is its main function, now I also consider bitcoin like an additional retirement account, if it does not work out then I will just lose some of my time but not much will change, however if I am right then most likely I will be able to retire earlier and with better living conditions than it would have been possible for me.

What I want you to understand, is that not everyone make it through investment, while some will say yes that bitcoin have happened them to change their way of spending, without signatures campaign going on in bitcointalk many people would have not tbe alking about how bitcoin changed their life, benefiting in bitcoin is for those people who run for both long term and short term investment or benefits from trading, this are the people that will give a testimonies of bitcoin. Not people who have never invested once or trade before in bitcoin that will give praise of bitcoin and how it exchanges their life without proof.

Using bitcoin is a big change on it's own because we no longer rely on banks, we can buy things using bitcoin directly as the network is fast and reliable. One thing I noticed happened after I started investing and using bitcoin is that I now do my shopping in bulks and it helped me saved more money and time and I don't have to go shopping everytime I need something like things that are used for cooking or doing my laundry. I held to shop in bulks so the bills is high but now it saved me.

Another thing that I have noticed is the way I see investing, after I bought bitcoin, I starting looking at other digital means of investing that doesn't have anything to do with physically owning a property or renting it out for used, they're still good investment but I prefer digital.

Can you share some of the links/places where you are being offered bitcoins in return for the services provided? Most of the famous platforms like Fiverr, Upwork etc do not accept crypto payment as of now.

My financial life is also improved a lot because of Bitcoin or crypto. Although I do not get any jobs related to crypto, but I do convert the money which I get in fiat into crypto and these small investments have proved very fruitful for me.

I think everyone has benefited from crypto except those who tried to become rich quickly by taking high leverages and liquidating their accounts.

It is a question that has resilience :) if such an assertion fits into the object of a sentence... Now there are users who do have resilience in that search, that Bitcoin could change their lives.

I particularly think it work, if you having 1 BTC, hence getting 50x, maybe, that would be life changing and borderline maybe the best multiplier would be 100x.

If you are not there, it can be measured as benefits, profits, etc.

Of course, bitcoin has changed many aspects of my life, most notably my understanding of the financial system and how it operates. Right now, I'd say I'm one of the most optimistic people in my family, given how things are unfolding in the financial world and how eager I am to seize the chance. I've heard and witnessed in the past from folks that got into bitcoin early on how their lives have changed dramatically for the better.

I used to perceive myself as having certain boundaries to how much I could earn in a given period of time dependent on the work I was doing, but since discovering bitcoin, I have no limits to what I can do or become in the near future. This all depends on your driving objective, determination, enthusiasm, and patience, all of which I believe I am becoming more prepared for on a daily basis. Because of bitcoin, I now have a completely different perspective on my financial aspirations.

Certainly, Bitcoin has been incredibly beneficial for me. In addition to my offline employment, I've been engaged in digital marketing, which allowed me to accumulate a substantial amount of Bitcoin. This newfound income significantly transformed my life and helped me establish a more stable financial footing. Me too, since becoming involved and owning Bitcoin I have become more financially
educated. I dont save any FIAT, I convert it to Bitcoin.

Yes, indirectly I feel that I have experienced a big change in my life after getting to know Bitcoin like increasing my finances. Especially for saving money. I've used to save money in the banks and happily seeing the numbers grow on my bank account through mobile banking. While being on Bitcoin, it has changed a lot. Coming from having that mindset that I am very much happy to see how the numbers are randomly growing because of its volatility to being endured and numb from the market's upside down trends. They're all great experiences and the disappointments were also there but that's incomparable than of those exciting moments that I've been with and will be with because of BTC.

Actually, after I got to know bitcoin, this has changed my mindset to something more positive. That is, before I was not interested in the world of finance, or more precisely, I was not interested in the financial system at first. Even before, I didn't know what a centralized system and a non-centralized system were. Then after I learned more about Bitcoin and learned that Bitcoin was built on a Decentralized system that makes us all have 100% ownership rights because of its decentralized system. So I also learned about the centralized system owned by Fiat, which I have held so far. In fact, I began to realize that the fiat that I used to keep in the bank was always decreasing in value due to inflation. From there, I started to focus on the investment sector and other things that can maintain the value of my assets and can also provide more benefits than just being kept in the bank. Generally, I don't praise Bitcoin as a panacea that some users here do; it's great and all, but it's not free money coming from the sky. I don't understand why some keep persisting that it's the key to our financial well-being and to freedom, because it's not. I've been here since 2014, had two major breaks in between, and overall, Bitcoin has added something to my routine: the forum, the posting, the reading of meaningless analyses and articles that keep the day going. Aside from the "hobby" part of it, it's providing additional income through investments and signature campaigns that I'm yet to introduce in my daily life, as I keep everything aside for the future, which provides me with hope because things on a worldwide scale aren't progressing too positively.

I feel that for me, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general have had a significant impact on the way I think about finances and the future.... Maybe I was just like you, I didn't know what is centralized and decentralized or what privacy is until bitcoin showed me all the pros and cons of centralized and decentralized systems. lots of people have become rich from investing in btc, because they bought btc when the price was cheap like around 2010 and sold it in 2021 when the btc price was high. and to be honest I personally have felt the benefits of investing in btc and there has been a big change in my life yes, even though I am a bit late investing in btc unlike other people who have invested in btc like from 2010. but I have benefited from investing in btc to suffice daily needs, and I always take advantage of opportunities like when btc is experiencing a decline in price and I buy and sell it when the price of btc is high.

Welcome to the forum mate. I would be very honest to say that bitcoin has given me great opportunities to improve my status of living. I’m not actually rich but I can say I am now living a more comfortable life compared before when I was not updated about bitcoin. I can now buy not just my needs but also some of my wants as well, and I think seeing that way, I must say that bitcoin has somehow create some big changes in my life. That’s why despite of the risks involved with bitcoin, if I would still chose between fiat and bitcoin, I will always go for bitcoin but I also make sure I did enough savings in fiat as well as most of the commodities are still traded with fiat.

For some reason, I found bitcoins at the right time when I was struggling financially back then and not being able to buy what I wanted. I studied it a lot every day until I learned the necessary things that I should need to learn about it then I started my journey in investing until I hit the jackpot last bull runs. when people doubt it, I am one of those who trust until the outcome becomes apparent to them and now I come to say thank God that I am not the same as before I knew about bitcoins some years ago, it changed my life positively.

Bitcoin changed my life. Crypto in general to be honest. Because of my investments which grow at an unexpected level, I was able to quit my regular job. One thing I do not like about having a regular job is that I am a night owl. I also have insomnia so I do not like to wake up early in the morning, prepare myself and then travel to my office. Not saying I don't need to work because, after all the failures to establish a business, I need to work to support myself although I decide on my own working time. I also made the biggest financial mistake of my life last late 2018 when I sold all my bitcoins in the $3k to $4k range fearing it might continue to drop down in value. No regrets though, what's done is done. Now I am starting back from scratch but very optimistic that I can get lucky again in the next bull run. Many changes I got when I was on this forum and learned about Bitcoin.
Made my first dollar by selling some Bitcoin and eventually continued to grow until it allowed me to invest in several projects and also as a Bitcoin holder.

When things were going well, investing more and more, I started to enjoy the benefits when the bull market arrived in 2017 and that was the peak where I was able to earn tens of thousands of dollars which eventually changed my life.

But keep in mind, that the big risk in crypto is also to be aware of.
Don't just look at how much you make, but also look at how much you lose and we are also required to keep growing.

never feel too late about bitcoin investing because this will never be,
coins like this will continue increasing its value but only if you are willing to wait and invest.

Yes, Bitcoin has make a lot of changes in my life, and I bought landed property through Bitcoin money and open shop for my wife and that was what I archived last Bitcoin Bull Run and Base on the current price of cryptocurrency is not much encourage, but is only have in mind is a patients business when it comes to cryptocurrency investment.

I worked as a designer, translator, community manager and some "third party" jobs. I used to have a lot of relationships with marketing services team, and fellow designers. There is no specific place/site, just active in several crypto forums and groups such as Reddit and Discord.

On such platforms you'll only get many competitors while job offers are few and the rules are typical of centralized services. I have accounts on several crypto freelancer sites like cryptotask.org and latium.org, not very prospetcive. I don't remember, I think I only got 1 or 2 jobs so far from those sites.

I might take an example in my current life, a few years earlier I was in a condition that could be said to be a drop in terms of work and finance because the work that I had worked on before experienced a problem that required me to leave and turn around in bitcoin because previously I was an anti-bitcoin even though I had been introduced for a long time about this.

I see that it is necessary to take profits, this primarily applies to all altcoins, if you do not do this at the right time, then you will surely lose everything that you thought you had earned.

With bitcoin, things might be a little better, but the essence remains the same, you need to learn how to take profits during periods of a bull market. Honestly, when I was new to this forum, I come to doubt the potentials of bitcoin, as if it could be a life changer when we know it’s just designed to be a currency. But when I started learning how to invest in bitcoin, that’s probably the beginning to experience the benefits of bitcoin and that I’m also bound to see my life changing gradually. And now my efforts have started to paid off. Aside from bitcoin investment, I’m also into signature campaign which certainly give me quite a sustainable income to provide the needs of my family.

It's easy to earn bitcoins for rich people and people who earn a lot of money from being employed. But for those who only rely on sidelines or extra income, it is not easy for them. I said in the past when I had spare time I would usually take a book and read it, sometimes more for pleasure than for education. Although as an academic I am into scientific and science-related papers all the time anyway.

But now that Bitcoin is around, I have been dealing with it for over a decade now on almost all possible fronts because it struck me hard ever since I found about it. That's where we fully agree, Bitcoin isn't just some update to what we already have. It is an abrupt transition to something that has never existed before.

But regarding the focus and whether it slightly, significantly or fully shifted for people, still depends on the person. Some will remain observers with little involvement as holders or traders, and some will put tremendous effort into fueling and accelerating the transition through increased adoption due to building infrastructure or effectively and sustainably spreading the message.

Yeah we all know how volatile Bitcoin price is and if you're correctly use the moment, you will make a lot money after few years. Of course Bitcoin really give a lot change in financial matter, but I also use the advantage of Bitcoin as a store of value and be your own bank.

This give me feel if all of my money is safe, I don't need to think the inflation rate, bad economy in my country, bank bankrupt etc.

I will agree with your statement that Bitcoin has benefited many people. Despite some aspects of Bitcoin having their own risks, it also has benefits beyond what you expect, and if you properly manage the relationship one has with Bitcoin in the time of knowledge I think the risk can be managed, either way, I think it can be avoided, with the exception of those who are engaged in futures trading, which involves a significant amount of risk so the risk so its the profit so it is a trade-off. Being knowledgeable about finances helps our financial lives in a way, and both bitcoin and fiat have their purposes and also their disadvantages but with bitcoin one is exposed to a lot of benefits. It's good that for a newbie you're intentionally aware that bitcoin isn't a get rich quick technology as many uninformed people mistake it to be. Bitcoin has tremendously transform me on how I view money, use money and  where I need to store it to maintain value.  Aside the earnings that I am positive of making from services I offer online, from a few trades and through participating in campaign sigs from the forum , the technology has changed the way I work traditionally as I don't have to solely depend on salary to make an income at the end of each month's.

I will only agree with what you are saying if you are talking about the long term, in the short term this is not entirely true. If you were unlucky and bought bitcoin for $50k in 2021 then you will have to worry a lot now because your net worth is losing a lot. And if you needed to use that money now, what would happen? You can only be safe from inflation, a bad economy or a bank failure...when your bitcoin investments are long term and you don't need to use them in the short term. Bitcoin is very volatile so if all our assets were bitcoins there would be no guarantee for us in the short term.

Just imagine, without it, how you would be able to afford those things you bought because of the profit of crypto. Investing into bitcoin with the saved money would mean that there is going to be something much better for you on the long run no matter what you use it on. You could jus be richer, you could just pay for something, no matter what you are going to end up with more money. Obviously some people made bad bets and they lost money and that could be considered a big change too, losing money but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with that all the time.

We should remember that it is not going to be similar for all the people. For me personally it went for personal emergencies, I paid for them all with bitcoin and without bitcoin I would have been a bankrupted person right now with too much debt and troubles.

You are absolutely right friends, indirectly we get bitcoin payments through signature campaigns every week, and we have the opportunity to collect bitcoins every week from that income.

Bitcoin can bring you great changes in your life if you know how to appreciate it and see its true value.

This question is repeated lol and yes some people lives have been changed and some people lives have been ruined and I don't from which side you are.

In general, digital currency has an impact on the lifestyle of the most people. Cryptocurrencies are actually the new version of "digital fiat currency" projects.  What really matters is the adopting level, which depends strongly on the hardware and software availability and development. So if there will enough mining facilities, then the overall system will bring life-changing surprises at some moment.

If you have done it then you will get the answer by itself however, if you haven't done it it might be a bit difficult to feel it. it's all about taste and I'm starting to taste it myself. Yes, nowadays many investors are coming in and are interested in investing in BTC because it is one of the safest investments due to its scarcity, unlike fiat currencies, such as dollars, which central banks can print at will. Yes. BTC has uses and values, the last one Bitcoin is very difficult to counterfeit of course.

I will say yes BTC have changed my life. yesterday I was no body but today I can tell you for free that, BTC have changed my mentality, it has changed my financial straight.

I personally probably can't say that Bitcoin is the safest investment. But I personally believe that Bitcoin is a potential investment to get into. For example, now more large companies are also investing in Bitcoin. In fact, several giant companies that had badmouthed Bitcoin a few years ago turned out that this year they were also one of the companies that submitted a Bitcoin ETF.

And yes, changes in life through bitcoin can happen if we enter and feel it ourselves. But this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This is just a pretty promising future investment. But still high risk of course.

I also object when someone says that bitcoin is the safest investment, because no investment is safe and can yield high returns, the higher the return, the higher the risk. To be fair, bitcoin is the most potential investment but also has the highest risk.

Bitcoin investments need to be held for years to yield good returns but saying it is not a get-rich-quick scheme is not entirely true. We don't choose gold or other investments and choose bitcoin because we want high returns and want to get rich quick. After all, profits from bitcoin are still generated faster than other investments, we should not deny that fact.

Its too risk when promoting with bitcoin is the safest investment how beginner get misunderstanding respond, actually its right with bitcoin is safest investment but not promising with profitable in short time and bigger are waiting for when bitcoin drop. Bitcoin helped many people trough their investment increasing up drastically but they need longer time waiting moment for selling bitcoin and how beginner expectation when talking about bitcoin is safest investment.

No all investment are secure right now not only cryptocurrency or other investment kinds, depend how our self manage with emotion and lack knowledge or not when investing in something. Invest in Bitcoin have to controlling well and understand with bitcoin when right time for investing and selling.

If I'm being honest, no big changes really, all my bitcoin is just a hoard and right now it's a lot but it's not life changing or anything like that unless I sell it right now which isn't the right thing to do because I know that bitcoin's going to go up much higher than this in the near future and the best thing to do is to accumulate more and just think of all this as a delayed gratification. I don't know if this change should count but I changed my outlook on life regarding money, I stopped chasing that shit a long time ago and I just let things happen whatever they may be, maybe bitcoin made changes to my life after all.

However, these changes are something that you ultimately control. There are many people who benefit from Bitcoin, but if they only use it as a tool for fun, or fulfill their desires so that they waste money, then when the money runs out, there will be no significant changes in their lives.
However, if we use these advantages in building a business or growing a business, then we can feel that it is slowly helping our lives to get better. I've seen enough people who have quite fantastic wealth and changed their lives by using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

It seems to me that the times when one could expect a very large growth from bitcoin have already passed. Now it looks more like a long-term investment, from which you can get x3-x5 with the right timing for buying and selling. And in the future, the possible profit will become even smaller as Bitcoin becomes more expensive. But for now, Bitcoin remains an attractive investment, it may not make investors wealthy very quickly, but it can provide an opportunity to create good capital for further investments.

It is somewhat the case that people tend to have a sure profit for Bitcoin in the upcoming 2-3 years, which is why they are investing in it for the long term. We know that people who don't have patience will not work on this, only those who understand that we need to hold it for a longer period of time so that we can gain profit. Bitcoin really attracts those investors because of its high price and how volatile it is; it can reach its ATH in no time. That is why investors liked the risk, even though the risk of losing your money is also high.

I've always been a proponent of innovation, growth, and change. The promise of Bitcoin goes beyond just getting rapid money. I've seen regular people talk about Bitcoin as though it were the lotto. Not at all. Although Bitcoin represents a revolution, it is also an investment, and investments require time. Who has actually profited from this? They have been patient. They've used a strategic approach.

Although there are risks with every investment, cryptocurrencies are still in their formative years. They have a lot of potential but are moody and unpredictable. We must accept the risks and benefits associated with Bitcoin, just as we did with other sectors of life that underwent transformation. But, and this is where it gets intense, do you dive in without being fully informed? That is not only risky, but it also sets you up for failure.

I would say no. It did help me change the way I look at things like money, value or investing, as I was fairly ignorant of those things before I learnt about Bitcoin. But I wouldn't consider those "big" changes. Then again, you never know where your life would be if you did things differently in the past. So maybe BTC had a big impact on my life but I just don't realise it.

As long as we live we always have risks and when we are in bitcoin there is always a risk and indeed this is not safe but of course when we are sure then saying it is not safe is included in the risk so we have to face it.
And I agree with what you said because in the end whether this will change our lifestyle for the better or not depends on how we do it in bitcoin. As long as we do it right from the investment procedure and learn well, the results will also be good and will affect the life we run but when our orientation is only to money and quick profits then we can fall into the trap like most people who now give up and consider bitcoin a scam.

It was too risky indeed but people didn't focus on it instead, they looked at how much they get in the future.
We can say that many people were encouraged to come because they saw that many lives had changed through investing in Bitcoin and they are taking their steps hoping that they could change their living as well despite the risk. In fact, we can't change our lives if we remain in our comfort zone which is why we have to do this and take the risk.

Well, for me, I couldn't say that I really improved but I gained a lot of learnings which I treasured the most.

Anyway for me no big change yet because I am just a new investor (greenhorn) in the crypto game, I will say that the only people that Bitcoin has help to create a big change in their life's are the people who invested in Bitcoin from either 2009 to 2017 or 2020 but now I don't think from 2021 anyone have gotten bigger achievements besides people are waiting for the bullish season after the bullrun then we can talk if Bitcoin has helped us to create any big change.

Staying in your comfort zone can make you lazy because you'll still be in an unending cycle that you don't know where to go but it is sure that we are safe there, it is like security, but again times staying in our comfort zone even we don't like it we have too because taking a risk can make you down financially and that's worse mostly if you have a family to feed that is why I've seen a lot of people that are doing their 8 - 5pm job even if they don't liked it but again they need to as they need to feed their family.

Absolutely, not really when I was just getting started on cryptocurrency because I did make a lot of mistakes and lost a big amount of money, but because of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and this forum I learned a lot of knowledge about it and in the end, it changes my mindset on how I look my finances, not it is a really big help because I know what to do with my savings and investment, and it just change my life even though I still not some kind of rich guy that has million of dollars of money, but can really see my growth and improvement compared to the past years on how I handle things.

I was just a student when I was a newbie on Bitcoin, and really great to earn a large amount of money on cryptocurrency especially if you are just a student having the money to afford what you want, it really changed my life earning that amount even though I didn't even have a full-time job. I just wish that I'm able to save more of my money that time not just spending most of it on some gadget or things but actually putting it into something that could generate passive income.

In my country, it is not allowed to own international payment cards, whether physical or virtual, and therefore it is not possible to purchase online from shopping sites or even work independently online (freelancing) because there is no means of payment available. After the increasing popularity of Bitcoin, it has become possible to dispense with all payment methods prohibited by my country and make transfers in a private and hidden manner that the authorities cannot notice.
No one can deny how revolutionary this was and how it helped change the lives of many, myself included.

That's right. People who started to invest bitcoin in 2021 are still on the losing end. And we do not know what percent of them are still holding it until the next bull run which is usually in a 4-year cycle. The majority of the early investors pretty sure sold their holdings already and then bought back for another hold.

In my situation, I think I bought bitcoin at $500+ something before but I sold them all last 2018 or 2019 at $3k to $4k range. And here I am again starting to accumulate monthly at a higher price. But we're all probably very optimistic that bitcoin will reach another ATH in the next bull run which is expected to start next year and peak in 2025 if we are to based on its price history.

We have different interpretation of fun, what could be fun to me could be stupid or a waste to you, unless you specify what activities or recreationals are you talking about, I don't think it's right for you to judge that something is wasteful, hell even gambling which I believe is a waste of money and time can be a different thing for other people. You're right about using bitcoin to advance our lives but that's just not me, all day chasing money not resting because I know there's delayed gratification and that I'll be able to enjoy the hard work later on, I don't like the stress of being over materialistic tbh. Chasing the bag only ends with you chasing bag more and you won't even know it.
