Luckycoin Features

Advanced Checkpointing
Many coins in the altcoin space are susceptible to the infamous 51% attack. Even Bitcoin is only protected by it's high hash rate.
In contrast advanced checkpointing provides an effective protection against 51% attacks independent of the hash rate of the coin.
The technology was introduced by Peercoin and adapted for the Luckycoin in November 2013. Instead of manual checkpoints that require
a client update, advanced checkpointing automatically synchronizes checkpoints over the network at a predefined depth of the block chain.
The checkpointing system allows the block chain to resolve small forks on it's own without intervention, but enforces consensus if two
different chains grow too large.

Block Rate Limiter
The block rate limiter was introduced first in December 2013 by the Luckycoin to fight abusive multipool mining and prevent attacks on the
block chain that result in an unusually high block rates. The technology introduces a new network rule that allows only a maximum of six
blocks to be mined within a time span of 90 seconds. Additional blocks within the 90 seconds window are rejected. This makes flash mining
the Luckycoin uneconomical.

OpenSSL Heartbleed
The serious OpenSSL Heartbleed bug was fixed in the latest Luckycoin v1.0.1 release. The Windows LuckycoinQT wallet is now compiled with
the latest OpenSSL 1.0.1g release that fixes the bug.

Coin Distribution and Inflation
The Luckycoin implements an accelerated reward reduction scheme. The block reward halves once every 100,000 blocks. Over the last year
nearly 75% of all coins have been distributed via mining. The current coin production per day is worth about $100-$200 that has to be absorbed
by the exchanges.

Title: Luckycoin bootstrap.dat
Post by: m0gliE on April 15, 2014, 02:36:11 AM
Luckycoin Bootstrap.dat

https://i.imgur.com/sKibulA.jpg

   bootstrap.dat

bootstrap.dat allows a new Luckycoin client (not synced) to rapidly import the initial blocks from a
local file instead of slowly downloading blocks from random peers. This significantly reduces the
time it takes to get a client synced with the current blockchain.

Simply having bootstrap.dat in Luckycoin's expected data directory will make your initial block sync
much faster. The import process can be even faster if you use the -dbcache=1000 command line
parameter which uses an additional 1GB of RAM for the database index cache.

   Extracting the bootstrap.dat.xz

Regardless of your operating system, use the following steps to make use of the bootstrap.dat file:

1.   Download bootstrap.dat.xz from mirrors or torrent.
2.   Decompress the bootstrap.dat.
3.   Put it into the Luckycoin datadir. "%appdata%/luckycoin" / "~/.luckycoin"
(This is the same folder that contains wallet.dat and the blocks folder.)
4.   Delete bootstrap.dat.old if you want to recover some storage space.

    Luckycoin Data Folder

    Linux
Code:
xz -d bootstrap.dat.xz
Luckycoin's data directory is located in ~/.luckycoin/ by default. You can run ls -a to see
directories that start with a period. You can also search for the directory with the following
command:
Code:
find / -name wallet.dat -print 2>/dev/null

   Mac
You can obtain xz from MacPorts or http://macpkg.sourceforge.net/.
luckycoin's data directory should be located in ~/Library/Application Support/luckycoin/.

   Windows
7Zip is a free utility that can decompress .xz files, so does the latest version of WinRAR.

Click on Start then Run (or press WinKey+R) and type:
Code:
explorer %APPDATA%\luckycoin
luckycoin's data directory will open. "AppData" and "Application Data" are hidden by default in
Windows.

   Copy bootstrap.dat to data directory

Copy the bootstrap.dat to your data directory. Load the luckycoin client and wait for it to load the
blocks. After loading is complete, the bootstrap.dat will be renamed to bootstrap.dat.old at which
point you can choose to delete it.

Yea, our baby has grown up quite a bit. The 1st anniversary is in about a month on May 22.

Hello Guys, I just want to let you know, that I am buing LKY as much as I can. This coin is awesome, with active developer, unique, just lacks broader popularity. It will take some time, but this coin is already old and not pump&dump scam, it is like a gold for me. Thank you Titan.

Thanks!

I've been working on a better difficulty retargeting scheme over the last few weeks with an intra block retargeting algorithm to make the network more resilient.

The ASICs are coming and the Luckycoin network will embrace them.

Great! Yes, there is a lot of room to grow. We have a stable investor base and already a relatively low inflation.
The network operation is very close to the optimal block rate since the last reward reduction and we are already 25% through the 3rd reward reduction cycle.

There are several ongoing projects that need community help.
One main focus is Coin Payments: https://www.coinpayments.net
In the last vote the Luckycoin raced ahead of DGB and DRK. Well it was a close call. LOL!
https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

I was playing with a custom multipool code last night. It might be interesting to have a custom multipool running for the Luckycoin, like many POS coins do.

It seems your block chain data got corrupted. Please delete your chain data and download a good chain again.

Titan, don't you know who created that 9 BTC sell wall on cryptsy at 880-900 satoshi? I planed to pump LKY when it was 600 satoshi, now it is 370 and falling down. I know, there is not much sell orders, but since there are neither buy orders price will decline and it  will be much harder to get LKY some value again. It could be completely different, if that 9 BTC sell wall wasn't there. Pumping cheap coins with such sell walls is impossible, it just makes LKY cheaper and cheaper.

Yes, I have been watching this. The sell orders are not mine for the record.
I assume the seller wants to push the price lower and shake out some weak hands, or maybe he simply wants to sell at a certain price.
You are right there was an opportunity to get some action two weeks ago, but it didn't get much traction.

The whole market is weak, so maybe it is better to take 10BTC and pick up twice as many coins at lower prices.

I have been looking into MRO recently for some additional anonymity features. It is an interesting code base.

Can you implement that kind of anonymity into LKY? If you make LKY anonymous like MRO, the price will 100x in a month. It is hot today. Since LKY is only POW, it is less attractive than other POS, POW/POS coins. Anonymity with old coin history, with full time active DEV are the best reasons to buy all LKT on the market. Let us know. Is there same simple way how to accept LKY as web payment method? Best would be some JS library with simple include and simple call + some web server to call my callback URL on my server with confirmation. Or at least some service with API, where my server can ask for transaction status. Installing wallet and using wallet software + using blockchain is nightmare for payment acceptance. People need simple way how to accept crypto payments.

Thank you

I have actually been playing with some ideas in that direction. I even thought about a launch of a Cryptonote type network, but without a link to the current Luckycoin network it would not create much value, imo. What would be interesting is to have these two types share their coins, or at least be able to transfer coins back and forth in a way. Doing some merged mining would be a starting point.

I already had a lot of private discussions about the POW/POS topic. My point of view is that a coin with POW + ACP (automatic checkpointing) and an accelerated reward reduction is very similar to a POS coin in the long run. For both types POW mining will be eventually low and the blockchain is secured by other means, i.e. ACP or POS mining. Although I would argue that ACP is safer at that point, because there is no 51% attack on ACP compared to POS. Although owning 51% of the coins and destroying the network is a bit rude.

Mining is in a sense smoke and mirrors while the checkpoints are the key.

Luckycoin is essentially Litecoin/Bitcoin, so there are many options to adapt Bitcoin software.
The operator of http://www.blueyvpn.com/ implemented a Luckycoin payment option for his business.
You might want to get in touch with him.

CoinPayments is another option I am trying to get the Luckycoin listed.

While we are on the topic please vote for the Luckycoin to be accepted by CoinPayments.

I have read the paper, it is too abstract. Is there already something like this implemented? So you can use something what was already implemented somewhere else and tested. Anyway, it sounds like a good idea how to make the currency save for long run.

What about anonymity protocol? Are you planning something in near future?

The good news are there is a buy support forming on LKY on cryptsy, it seems not only me and you are interested in this coin:)

Peercoin was an early spinoff of the ideas presented in the paper. Mining is a means to find temporary consensus, but only checkpoints set things in stone. If you have a quantum computer you could rewrite even the Bitcoin block chain back to the last checkpoint. The checkpointing system has been implemented in the Luckycoin at the end of last year and has kept the coin safe since then.

I have been researching the newer anonymity features. I am currently looking into options to link a Cryptonote type block chain with a Bitcoin type block chain. The Bitcoin infrastructure is currently much more advanced compared to Cryptonote, so it is a good idea to look at some hybrid solutions.

I am thinking along the lines to have a more anonymous sister network based on Cryptonote technology but link it closely to the current Luckycoin network. As I have outlined before the Luckycoin network will continue to play an essential role in the future.

Yes, we have got some good support on Cryptsy. The Luckycoin has seen even a bit less volatility compared to other coins, but generally the coins tend to move with the overall market. Selling pressure from mining is already relatively low and we are halfway through the third mining cycle.

The https://www.megamultipool.com (https://www.megamultipool.com) put a lot of hash rate on the Luckycoin network last night and drove up the difficulty.

I haven't seen a pool doing this for a while. I have sent them an email for comment.
I the mean time the network operation is back to normal.

I just went trough Cryptonote blockchain paper(Very fast, I will have to to it again more deeply, but I think I understand basics thanks to my Cryptology lessons from my studies.). As far as I understand, almost everything is different. Group keys, Addresses, verification.. Almost nothing is common.  How you want to make hybrid solution? Do you want to modify protocol to use all those new features? Or to support both types? Old LKY protocol + new group key signing, with both old and new adresses? I can imagine it can be done, it should not be hard to be able to use 2 different type of transactions, if you solve the problem how to send coins from old address type to new one and back. But I have no idea what is the impact on blockchain. But If you manage to create such hypbrid solution, LKY will be much more expensive than monero;)

A block chain level integration of the two technologies is certainly very difficult with the current code base.
We would need an even more general and flexible and configurable crypto framework to build upon.

On the other hand it is possible to use exchanges or other trusted entities to transfer coins from one network to another. An exchange address is designated as a coin "sink" on one side. All coins received at that address are exchanged and then sent to the other network. This has already been done for coin relaunches. Here it would be a permanent mechanism to let the coins flow back and forth between the networks. Still, there has to be enough liquidity in the exchange to make it feasible.

In this construction the Cryptonote network would act as a giant coin mixer network and as a companion to the Luckycoin network.

I think it is complicated. Converting old coins to new coins on relaunch is one time job. Your solution requires some tusted exchange with liquidity all the time. Maybe the solution could be to create new coin - aLKY - anonymous LKY and use Proof of Burn concept. If someone from LKY blockchain sends his coins to 1 well defined public address in LKY blockchain without private key, he burns and destroys his coins. This will be detected by anonymous LKY client and it will create new address in anonymous blockchain with that exact number of coins. The new anonymous address can be specified in that burning transaction as commentary.  Same can be done if someone wants to send coins from Anonymous LKY to old LKY blockchain. He can burn anonymous LKY and as a commentary will be new LKY address.  This way, the only task is to implement coin burn detection on another blockchain.  The drawback is, there will be 2 blockchains required for correct work. LKY will not be able to work without aLKY and vice versa. The cool part is,LKY blockchain will be same as BTC has, and aLKY will have same blockchain as Monero.  Problem is, that blockgeneartion will require miners to add detect burned transactions from other blockchain.  Mining can be hybrid, some on aLKY some on LKY.

Thanks for the hint on the proof of burn strategy. I never really looked into the details of proof of burn.

I have been sketching some designs of a flexible crypto framework that would allow to process different block chains.
In the end we might get to a point where we can feed different block chains into one wallet and fuse the block chains together.

Hashing got quite competitive on the Luckycoin lately.

The megamultipool.com takes the Luckycoin for a ride now every weekend, for whatever algorithmic reason.
With Litecoin down, the profitability of the Luckycoin is now competitive even with difficulty around 2.

It seems the Luckycoinpool.com site has been taken offline by Cryptsy again.
After similar incidents some weeks ago with the Luckycoinpool.com most miners moved to the new Luckycoin community mining pool pool.luckycoin.cc anyway. I actually expected this move by Cryptsy to come a bit earlier.

Please join the miners on pool.luckycoin.cc!

With the accelerated reward reduction of the Luckycoin and the transition to ASIC miners it will be interesting to see where we will end up towards the end of the year. Mining profitability is quickly heading south, with the whole crypto market under pressure. Getting a good ROI on an ASIC miner at current prices might be tough over the next months.
I think the scrypt ASICs might be even heavily discounted later this summer, if the price erosion on the crypto market continues, and more and more coins move away from scrypt.

I have no intention to move the Luckycoin away from scrypt mining. In the end the miners want to mine and want to get paid a competitive rate. ASICs are much more environmentally friendly due to the lower energy consumption.

The inflation on the Luckycoin is already low, with nearly 85% of all coins mined. The impact of the miners on the market is gradually decreasing. The next mining cycle, 100,000 blocks, will produce about 1.25 million coins with a market value of about $2000 over a period of two months. At the end of the year no one should complain that there wasn't a good chance to pick up some coins.

I am planning a new Luckycoin client release towards the end of August based on the latest Bitcoin code base.

Luckycoin (LKY) has established partnership with Bitscoinshop (http://www.bitscoinshop.com.br/en/) where you can buy items by using Luckycoin, and enjoy 10% discount. As Luckycoin is not yet integrated with the payment platform, you will need to use the following procedure during checkout:

1. Customers wishing to purchase using Luckycoin should choose the product, along with signing up with the details and place of delivery;

2. Choose the bank transfer as the payment method, meanwhile leave a message to indicate that you want to pay with Luckycoin;

3. In the message, specify the dollar amount of your purchase (with 10% discount) and the quote of the current exchanging rate. Bitscoinshop will convert the amount of your purchase into Luckycoin, and send wallet address for payment.

4. Once confirmed the payment, items will be delivered.

We have many items for mining as gridseed, Asics, shoes and articles of clothing.

The Unionminer pool is classic multipool with auto switching and dedicated coin pools.

I have made some good progress on the ASIC resistant intra block difficulty adjustment scheme.
The algorithm works very well under normal conditions but still needs some tweaking under specific attack scenarios.
Stratum and getwork mining work now after tweaking the client a bit. Even the native Bitcoin client seems to be a bit buggy with intra block difficulty adjustments that happen on the testnet.

I had a look at the Razor anon scheme. This seems to be a viable option to play the anon theme.

Please join our mining pools!

Titan, have you thought anymore of implementing KGW to stop the difflocks?

I didn't implement KGW in the past because it it not efficient for mobile wallets.

Something much better is in the works. It already works very well on test net.
It's a stochastic intra block retargeting scheme that can compensate 100x hash rate fluctuation with minimal block chain slowdown.
I am still working on hardening the scheme against attacks, but I think I nailed the main issue.

We will hard fork over the next four weeks. I still have to port ACP to the Bitcoin client 0.9.1.
In the mean time the Luckycoin network got some Scrypt ASICS to keep the network operation smooth.

The next reward reduction is coming this week at block 300,000. This will further reduce the selling pressure from the miners.
During the next cycle we will have a coin production rate of about 20 USD per day.

I think it will take one more month or two for the crypto market to bottom out.
LTC is taking a beating today, but there is no panic yet.

We are seeing some panic now. LTC down 50% within a week, DRK down 80%, still waiting for DOGE teens.
I think LTC will go down to 2-3 USD. This is about the electricity cost of running a Scrypt ASIC. So this might set a bottom there.

The Luckycoin is closing in on block 300,000 today and the reward will be halved to 11 coins, reducing the coin production to 16,000 LKY per day.

The network operation of the Luckycoin network is very good since the last reward reduction at block 300,000.
The average block time for the last 28,000 blocks is 68 seconds. So the Luckycoin network operates close to optimal.

The daily coin production is already quite low at about 60 * 24 * (11 + 1.5) = 18,000 LKY per day.
At the current price of 400 Satoshi about 18000 * 0.00000400 = 0.072 BTC have to be absorbed daily by the exchanges and miners.
Compared to many other network the selling pressure is still quite low.

I think the overall crypto market is starting to turn now. On the other hand the mining scene has dramatically changed for the Scrypt coins.
I have been following the developments at GAW miners over the last few weeks.
The introduction of hashlets was certainly interesting, although many questions of the future evolution of the hashlets are still open.

Nevertheless, I have started to experiment with the hashlets. Eventually, if the hashlet model proves to be sustainable, these could be used to support the Luckycoin network and provide some asset backing.

That is correct, it should be the same as litecoins.  Can you show your nomp config?

If you're not using the peer to peer setting, the magic number can be removed. If you are, don't know what to tell you. I only use NOMP as a stratum, as I think the website sucks in all dimensions from visual to function.

Cryptsy is still holding the Luckycoin hostage.
The coin is under maintenance for over two weeks now.
Please also put in some tickets to get this sorted out.
There is no reason for the exchange wallet to be offline that long.

So far ACP for Bitcoin 0.9.1 proofed to be a road block for the further client update.
The Bitcoin developers changed the internal workings how the block chain is handled that directly interferes with the ACP mechanism.
As far as I know no one has managed to upgrade ACP to the Bitcoin 0.9.x wallet series.
Feathercoin, the first proponent of ACP, is still on the 0.8.x series. I will take another shot at it over the holidays.

I have been hammering Cryptsy with tickets for weeks now to get the wallet back online.
Remember what they did during the run up last year? They also put the wallet offline for three weeks during the most volatile time.
Please also submit a ticket to Cryptsy. Usually submitting new tickets gets them faster processed than updating old tickets.

We are also working on getting on new exchanges. Please follow the thread and twitter and help voting. Thanks!

I've got the redesigned ACP working now in the Bitcoin 0.9.x wallet! This needs now some serious testing.
ACP now manipulates low level data structures at the core of the wallet to trigger the checkpoint reorganizations.
No one has done such a thing before, but everything looks good so far.

I have updated my development code base to the latest Bitcoin Core 0.9.3 from version 0.9.1 with which I started a few months ago.
So the wallet will be as good as the latest Bitcoin Core release with all the features enabled.
The update solves some crashing issues. It seems this was purely related to the Bitcoin code base and not code my extensions.
The new advanced checkpointing code works very well so far. I have yet again restructured and repartitioned the original PPC checkpointing code.

I am now back to the new difficulty retargeting scheme and working out a protection for a specific time warp attack.
I haven't decided yet, if we already hard fork with the wallet update or later on in a second update.
We will see what revelations the weekend brings.

I have cooked up a time warp defense today deep inside the block chain logic.
This looks interesting now and solves several problems in an elegant way.
It uses the same mechanisms as the ACP code to select the right chain.

I have to run some simulations tomorrow with the new code, but it runs already very smooth on the main Luckycoin network.

A Ubuntu luckycoind build doesn't appear to want to produce a valid getblocktemplate reply after syncing

The Luckycoin wallet uses the old syntax:
./luckycoind getblocktemplate {}

The new Luckycoin wallet with up-to-date functionality will be available soon.

In an effort to gain more luckycoin users to CoinGather we have put up a 100,000 LKY buy on CoinGather at 440 sats.

I've also reached out to coinmarketcap to add the coingather feed for LKY/BTC.  Currently the only exchange listed is cryptsy which has a stuck wallet.

I wanted to give you guys a long overdue update on our LKY wallet.

I am still working on getting our wallet cleaned up and able to stay in sync with the network again. I have a few more methods im going to try but each of them can take up to a day or 2 to complete due to the size of the wallet and amount of transaction data it has. It doesnt want to sync without any transaction data so im working on repairing it with the data intact.

In the mean time im looking into alternatives to get all previous deposits posted so we can open up a new wallet while we try to get this to a point where it can be scanned for new deposits.

You can track the majority of our cold storage here.

https://coinplorer.com/LKY/Addresses/LBZYLUyFVyA3FymzQD7EpFfPNC28SLwpX3

All this being said. I recommend users wait until the new wallet is brought online to make any more deposits. If your transaction comes in after we have cleared the pending deposits and opened the new wallet it may be some time before the old wallet is scanned again

DiabloPool Announcement:

Due to some very unfortunate circumstances, our data center in Atlanta seems to have gone MIA, and all our efforts to contact them, both via email and by phone, have been unsuccessful. Not only does this interrupt DiabloPool operations, it also prevents us from accessing the mining pool wallets and payout data. We have put in a call to our attorney and have an appointment with him tomorrow morning. I’m also considering taking the two hour drive to Atlanta to talk to them in person.

In the meantime, we are facing the issue of mining pool payouts. From the start, we set aside a fund for each pool that was intended to be used in the event of a major hack. We never anticipated problems of this type, but we intend to use that fund to make payouts to our miners. All miners will be paid.

We need your help and patience however. Since we don’t have access to our current data, the data that we do have from our backups is slightly behind. Since miners were using the pool when it went down, there were some coins mined and shares logged that is not included in out backup data.

If you were mining on the pool when our servers went down (about 11:00 pm EST last night) or did not receive an expected payout, please PM me so that we can get your payout issued as soon as possible. If I don’t answer the PM right away, please be patient. I’ve been up all night working on this issue. I promise that everybody will receive their payouts
.
In the meantime, I’ve been wrapping up the details with a Miami, Florida data center to host our new servers. Our new servers will be bigger and better than the Atlanta servers, so I’m excited to get this deal wrapped up and get the pool back online.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and patience,
Dan

Good news! The data center in Atlanta just contacted me with their most sincere apologies, so everything is back to normal. It's amazing what a simple phone call from an attorney can accomplish.

In the meantime, I'm still working on a deal with the Miami data center. Even though it's more expensive, I think the move will be better for everyone. The pool is currently back online with the old servers, but hopefully we'll be moving to bigger and better servers. Thank you for everyone's understanding and patience.

Dan

PS. Payouts are going out as I write this, so thankfully, we won't have to dig into our emergency fund.

Our team obtained many of the cryptocurrencies that were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed. The Luckycoin wallet.dat was among those recovered.

We are now in the process of giving these wallet files back to their respective communities. The wallet has not been inspected and it's unknown if it contains any coins. If you are a developer of this coin, or a longstanding community member, you can file a request for the wallet in this thread: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=3789.0

Dear rapta, dear Luckycoin community,

yes I found too this website "https://www.CoinGather.com - Alternate Currency Exchange" rapta is offering.
It's very nice to have a site is still offering exchange for some cryptocurrencies were frozen on Cryptsy's servers when the exchange collapsed.

But I can't still find this coin over the "Cryptsy Community Relief Project" MicroGuy had posted.

In addition there is not much on CoinGather with Luckycoin even though Luckycoin network is healthy.

To get fast 4-7 alive connections you could write into your litecoin.conf e.g.:

We've had LuckyCoin listed for a long time.  As long as the network is healthy, we will continue to have it listed.  Thanks!

I would like to ask if this coin is still active? wallet downloadable and bounties available? Right now I cannot invest in the coin but would appreciate if you can point to any active bounties that this has.

Dear HEvangelista,

For Windows: look this message on twitter about reaper to use your graphic card because CPU isn't working well now with difficulty too high again.
https://twitter.com/changeworld2/status/882318133683515392 (https://twitter.com/changeworld2/status/882318133683515392)

Maybe you should control temperature of GPU. For windows you could use HWMonitor:
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html (http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html)

The website to get the wallet I told already, here again:

Thank you for providing me the links. I took a peek to the twitter page of using reaper and I must admit it looks foreign to me (my first expectation is something like a tech manual with step by step procedures). I will read them and hopefully I will be able to mine my first crypto.

So what to do [I thought you are already a miner as Jr. Member  ;)]

1. Download and install the wallet
2. wait synchronisation (you could make the adds before like written in my posts above to get enough connections a little faster )

If you could make this replay and we can go the next step  ;)

Anyone have any contact or information to the dev team?  :)

No idea about the whereabouts of the dev team, but while monitoring the debug.log I do see messages from what looks to be the checkpoint-sync server; which only the dev would possess the private keys to.
The network marches forward at block height 1282261.

Yeah, you can CPU/GPU mine it right now.
There will need to be some renewed interest to get LKY listed again on exchanges.

Very well.  I like this project and this name and its history linked to dogecoin.  I am going to support this coin.

Stay tuned.  I will launch a small exchange soon, and Luckycoin is going to be first group of coins to be listed in the exchange together with Marinecoin and Marycoin.
I will post more detailed information in both here in this thread and in Marinecoin Forum.

So far my testing on luckycoin wallet looks good.  The blockchain is a bit more than 1GB size, it is big, but not too big as those doge/LTC.  There are lots of active mining activities by
LKY communities on PC probably.  it is amazing that communities continue to mine this coin even there is no exchange trading this coin.

Mining of LKY is not worth it, buying probably is better.

hay, can some LKY owners sell us some luckycoin in new exchange?  We can get trades ongoing even for a small amount.

Very good explanation of checkpoint on luckycoin.  I noticed the coin size is big,  1.5 Gig.  There are too many syncing required for luckycoin,

In comparison,  Marinecoin or Marycoin size is a lot smaller.

Overall, 51% attack is risk, I believe is mainly to exchange owner, not to regular users.

For the safety of your coin.  I recommend trade luckycoin through  ShorelineCrypto,  but do not leave coin there.  Withdraw as much as possible from exchange after trading.

Mined a few Luckycoin,  tried to use window QT client to send the coins to exchange.  Failed.

Always get the warning "The total exceeds your balance when 7.90 LKY transaction fee is included".  This is insane.
Even if I set the transaction fee at 0.01, it would do the same.  It appears that the window QT wallet is locked without sending capability.

What is going on?

Note: it appears the same error also happend in QT wallet compiled in Linux.   Same error as well for command line luckycoind under linux.

@Titan,

Hope you are well during this crazy time of a pandemic. This would usually be a PM but I your permissions do not allow. I reach out to you because I want to acquire Luckycoin, and bring in an active development team. Do you still have access to the git repo? Would you consider adding me as a contributor?

Alternatively, if you would be willing to transfer over to me all luckycoin access (github, any material) I am willing to pay you for the privilege.

The plan is to 'upgrade' lucky coin but maintain the core principles of the coin (dynamic block rewards).

If you are open to the idea, or even if you are not, if you could respond I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your time reading this.

This isn't a bad idea.
There are also probably some other threads from almost a decade ago which also are linked to older GitHub repositories.
