Title: Reputable Trader Accepting Loans 5.0% Weekly!
Post by: bl4kjaguar on May 07, 2014, 02:31:11 AM
Why can't we have nice things?

I am not accepting loans at this time.

With no actual collateral, it will be hard for you to get a loan here.

1) It's your loss for passing up a 5% a week yield (whether dollars or bitcoin)

2) I am asking you to risk $10.

3) People lend on here based on reputation, and I also have a reputation that shows that I am serious. You can check LB forums as well.

4) People deposited en masse to HYIPs like btc-arbs and bitcoin-trader for less yield, and more risk (compared to my reputation).

I am offering some collateral. I have 2 New Liberty Dollar coins each with face value $50. These are double-struck just like you would find here (http://www.shop.newlibertydollar.com/2013-New-Liberty-Dollar-999-Fine-Silver-1-oz-Medallion-QTY1-2013QTY1-50.htm). I am asking for the face value in bitcoin and to split the cost of shipping the coin(s).

With silver as collateral and a hefty interest rate with a rock-solid trader, this is a prime opportunity! I look forward to working with savvy investors.  :)

Everyone is serious until they decide to scam ;D
$10 is nothing right?  Why are you still asking for it then?  Are these just reputation loans?

Oops, I almost forgot, no collateral :P

Why are you still asking for it then?
Because I can use it and my enterprise is hugely profitable.

If you were a good trader, and had done 3000 great trades you would not be trying to scam $10 from people.   loser

Better to be curious than judgmental.

If you were a good trader, and had done 3000 great trades you would not be trying to scam $10 from people

That's exactly correct. Thank you.

If that was true you wouldn't need loans.
Be nice to people (http://notepad.cc/share/4mgoHaJTXX).

Long story short:

I am 100% legit; I have likely done more escrows than nearly all the big players here. Why would I scam you when I am typically earning several multiples more than your return?

Mental self-sabotage is easy to spot (in finance)--this kind of reasoning really stinks of it.

Bump for discounted collateral.
I am now offering my 2 silver coins for only $95 in bitcoin value. We must split the cost of shipping the coins.

Hi.
I just had a look to your LBC profile and I have some few questions:
- Why don't you have any active ad?
- Why your older confirmed feedback is in November?
- Is there a reason why you are asking loans here and not @BTCJam?
Thank you, CC.

Hi.
I just had a look to your LBC profile and I have some few questions:
- Why don't you have any active ad?
I have almost no money, and people are not responding well to my requests to trade out of escrow, although I did it locally just this week!

I have about .4 bitcoins that I am saving to be able to open my ad again. That is why I can accept almost any size of loan from people here.

- Why your older confirmed feedback is in November?
I have lots of feedback in every month, going back a long time; any specific questions?

- Is there a reason why you are asking loans here and not @BTCJam?
No particular reason at this time.
Thanks for the good questions.

Collateral?

I would give you larger sums personally, but only for my return weekly +25%-35%

Example: I give you 20 coins to trade. You make 35BTC, I take my 20 + 5 coins. The rest is yours to keep.

You claim you can make 200% in your signature, so its either a lie or you would accept this.

Collateral?
I have about $95 worth of collateral in silver, discussed earlier.

I would give you larger sums personally, but only for my return weekly +25%-35%
It's not possible, sorry.
Additionally, I am only accepting $2k max $1k maximum from any initial lender.

You claim you can make 200% in your signature, so its either a lie or you would accept this.
Trading carries risk. I never mentioned that I can make 200% without risk (actually, you should read carefully; I never mentioned 200% in the first place).
Yes, there is a place where you can get 200x leverage on your bitcoins in the forex market, but trading carries risk, which I doubt you are willing to accept.

I can pay you 5% a week (with principal returned) if I trade via my arbitrage method though.

Sounds a bit strange, after 3000+ hopefully profitable trades. What happened exactly?

Yes, I was wondering why from November 2013 till today no more Confirmed feeds occurs, even if you are receving "normal" feeds. Probably I don't know exactly the difference between the two kinds of feedbacks.

Thank you, CC

1) Margins are now lower and it became less profitable
2) I have had to bail out friends who were in tough financial circumstances.
3) Losses related to other bitcoin investments and transactions.

There is confirmed feedback after November and same with unconfirmed. ???
On LB, feedback can be left at any time. I have also made a few trades recently.
You can see my confirmed feedback here:

Please let me know if interested in my offer; 5%/week is great, right? :)

Thanks for your attention and answers.

A loan at 5% weekly is fatty, but:
- your trades seems currently not so vibrant
- you currently do not have money to backup the loan
- your collateral is not liquid and shipping costs make them almost worthless
So I decline your offer.

In my personal opinion, I suggest you to have a look to BTCJam, where you can meet other localbitcoiners as you, borrowing BTC for trading, and lenders that can probably fund your loan.

Hope it helps and good luck.

CC.

I am out of silver. Additionally: All past promotions are over.

New promotions:
I have up to $1000 in PayPal funds as collateral; willing to discuss your offers for the rate; I offer bitstamp * 1.01 and we do it in your LB escrow.
Principal and 5% interest paid in bitcoin weekly.

I am a long-term reputable seller with PayPal on LocalBitcoins with zero complaints (you can ask anyone on there), so you can rest assured of no chargebacks. ;)

You can also Sell me bitcoins for PayPal directly (https://localbitcoins.com/ad/76724).

I have made over a dozen trades today on LB, mostly PayPal and MoneyPak. I hope this has addressed your concerns, Crypto.Conyo. :)

For what it concern me, I have to address you again to:
- BTCJam
- BitLendingClub
I believe those communities could help you collecting funds quickly, since risks of this loan would be spread among many investors.
You probably could even save money.

Take care, CC.

Anything in Paypal is NOT collateral!
Paypal is reversible and there are too many thieves selling stolen verified Paypal accounts on different onion sites.

I regularly get PayPal offers on LocalBitcoins, where I have over 3,000 confirmed honest trades with no chargeback complaints yet!
So what if thieves exist? I am a great partner for receiving PayPal funds and that is a fact you can verify. Also, I send all payments from my own account.

Good news!  ;D

I trade with a totally unique arbitrage system on LocalBTCitcoins exchange where I have done over 4,000 successful and positive transactions.

Loans/Offers received:
James_Howlett (https://localbitcoins.com/p/James_Howlett/) offered a Loan of $1000 on 05/21 to be repaid with a sum $1224.19 on 06/21. Pending
I received a loan offer! I am also quite close to 4,000 successful escrow trades on LB. I have done a few dozen outside of escrow on there too. ;)

My arbitrage operations still could use more capital! I am open to your offers. ;)

Don't plan on lending more than $1k: the scale of my enterprise is limited.

I do make several times your rate of return by rationally utilizing your money! Use your LocalBitcoins account to discuss with me.

A sharp investor will understand and note that their claim against my profitable account is enforceable via LocalBitcoins support system.

If a lender requires collateral beyond this then I'm afraid that my promotions will not apply and I will only be able to supply PayPal funds on a 50% reserve basis.

I am a frequent and trusted PayPal buyer on LocalBitcoins, and frankly this thread will not appeal to tire-kickers (i.e. those seeking collateral); I simply need to finance my operations, period: whether $10 or $1000.

Sir. I am not claiming anything against your profitability, skill or reputation. I'm not calling you a liar, but I don't care about your reputation at all! For what I care you could request a loan to manufacture weapons; as long as you have collateral I will help you.

Please understand that unless you provide reasonable collateral you are not requesting a loan but a partnership which has very different rules and expected returns.
If you ask for a loan here the lender wants 0% MATERIAL risk, this means altcoin/precious items shipped to the lender. See? It may be worth a lot with your trading counterparts but here your reputation's worth is less than a satoshi.

After all... aren't you an experienced trader? Buy a stable altcoin and use it as collateral, I do not care about your 10% week. Give me collateral plus 5% and I'll lend to you any amount you like.

I'm not calling you a liar, but I don't care about your reputation at all!

OK, but I feel that since I am not a liar, that what I am providing is sufficient.

Like I said, my account is profitable to an extreme and your claim against me is enforceable through that account.

This thread will be a record of what I have returned. It is OK if you do not participate because my offer will still be around.

That doesn't even matter, bl4ckjaguar has scammed before.

Your liabilities are not fictional.   ::)   >:(  My friend lost money in your scam but was never compensated.  :'(  I also lost money, but fortunately I had some of your collateral. Of course, that was the Wild West of bitcoin lending! This is something a bit different;

I am now creating daily trade reports for investors/lenders. You will see trade id, rate, and fiat amount for all sales and buys, every day. I am happy to log into my account via WebMeeting software to confirm the truth of my reporting!

Anyone who has legitimately lost money can simply post here.

If you want a loan get collateral, otherwise you are wasting your time.

Don't call me; I will call you.  ;D

Why are you reporting dubious loans from outside this forum? It is not collateral, it doesn't show trust and even if it did it would be completely useless.
Only in-forum trust matters, if any.

If you want a loan get collateral, otherwise you are wasting your time.

I want to be faithful to my creditors and annoying to the tire-kickers.

Just one of the hundred people who come here with words, dreams and nothing in their sack. Wonder why they never get a satoshi?

You should move to the Gambling section, maybe you will have more luck there. This is the safe Lending one.

If I don't pay, you could seize coins from my account via LB support.

I have pledged a very profitable trading account as collateral. Your "warrant" is negotiated and recorded on LB.

This is my thread for long-term lending.  :)

"Seize via bla bla bla"
Dude, why?  ;D

Why take the risk and the hassle of contacting support when I can have your collateral and sell it in a split second? Again.. this is the LENDING forum not GAMBLING. We do not take risks and we do not want hassle.

No collateral
No loan

Well, I already have loans, so I guess I am also having fun?  :) I already have cash flow too, but if you are skeptical of either or both; Why not have me prove it to you?  ;) Can you accept that offer?
Ranlo offered me a loan but I turned him down.  :o
You are right, nobody on here will lend to me!  :'(
Maybe you should just report my posts and forcibly shutter this thread!  :P

But honestly, I do have collateral:
My trading on LB profits several hundred a day, so it is collateral. If you think hard, you will see how my reputation is also collateral, and NOT ONLY because trust is a rare commodity.

4,400 escrow trades indicates trust
Threads are offering unsecured loans, so why can't I ask for them?
My business is not collateral?? Schedule a time for me to prove otherwise!

This thread will be good for a lot of fun, I think.

Not worth a satoshi. Not collateral. Repeat it as much as you like... you CLAIM to be a successful trader yet you cannot afford a secured to loan to earn trust in this community.
Your outside reputation here is worthless no matter what you say. No one is offering you anything.

Threads are offering unsecured loans, so why can't I ask for them?
My business is not collateral?? Schedule a time for me to prove otherwise!

Not worth a satoshi (again). Only collateral given to lender is worth something.
There are some people here offering unsecured microloans, if you can afford to pay them back maybe you should beg from them indeed!

This thread will be good for a lot of fun, I think.

It is educative for newcomers. People will say anything to not provide collateral on a loan then likely run with the coins. A truly successful trader should have no problem in getting LiteCoin collateral for example.

That would be "paying for trust"; I would rather that trust come out of mutual benefit. It's funny that you think I should pay for trust.

So far you only proven that you are a random offtopic dude asking for unsecured loan.

If you are happy to provide collateral then I can loan money to you, state what altcoin do you have and send it to a trusted escrow on this forum like Monbux. Upon confirmation I will send you the coins and the loan will start.

Fair, simple and effective. No one loses a satoshi.

Any other arrangement puts the lender and/or the borrower in a risky/unfair position and should be posted in the Gambling section.

If you are willing to use btc-e last, then I can offer LTC for collateral with Danny Hamilton as long as the man is online! However, I will not pay you any interest for this...

I also cannot offer more than 100% of the loan value, because then I would be losing money up-front and effectively paying for trust! I do not hold any altcoins; I only trade BTC/USD.

No problem in using BTC-e as I have an account there, however 0% interest is not acceptable. My current rates are 0.9%/day (may be discussed)
No compounding of interest, of course.

I also cannot offer more than 100% of the loan value, because then I would be losing money up-front and effectively paying for trust! I do not hold any altcoins; I only trade BTC/USD.

You won't lose anything as coins are fully returned to you at the end of the loan. Please read forum rules again.

I am sorry, 100% collateral is not enough. The provided altcoin exchange rate could fall while you hold the Bitcoins exposing the lender to risk. As 0% risk is mandatory this is not acceptable.
110-115% for LTC, more than 120% for any other altcoin.

You can message me on here for collateral deals. Otherwise, please stop wasting your time in my thread.

I will not take on any risk up-front as a requirement for acquiring a loan.

I am not going to let you hold my $11 just so I can use your $10 for trading.

You have no risk as escrow trusted by both parties holds collateral. If I do not give you the coins the escrow will return your coins to you at 0% loss. If you do not pay me back escrow will give me your coins. 0% risk again.

You can message me on here for collateral deals IF YOU HAVE A SWEET DEAL. Otherwise, please stop wasting your time in my thread.

If my posts are bad, you can report them.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will post in your thread for as long as I see fit and try to disrupt any offer that puts the lender at risk.

How were you even able to loan 3 BTC? I offered over a week ago to loan him 2 BTC and he declined it, saying it was too much (I figured 2 BTC was cleaner/easier to deal with than 1.82348923 or whatever it was at the time). It ended up causing me to back out of the deal altogether but I'm curious as to how you were able to invest even more than that.

(He did offer to allow me to do the 2 BTC loan if I were to refer someone else to him that invested... this is what caused me to red-flag it. It made no sense for him to require a second person when his outcome would be exactly the same, unless he wasn't planning to follow through and instead was wanting to lower his "risk" in terms of people pursuing him by negating the value of doing so)

In my ad (OP) it has always stated that I can only borrow $1000 maximum (and $10 minimum) initially. I want to start slow and I also want the forum to recognize the value of this opportunity (I was happy to offer you an exception to my rule; just find someone who can risk $10).

This is why I am lowering interest rates and only offering promotions to repeat lenders.

Ah, that explains it. Apparently my public school math failed me miserably. See, the way I read it:

on offered a Loan of 0.772305 BTC on 06/10 to be repaid with the greater of 0.8340894 BTC or $536.75 on 06/15.  Active
kelpy offered a Loan of 0.5 BTC on 06/12 to be repaid with a sum 0.55 BTC on 06/19.  Active
nhabuon offered a Loan of $200 on 06/12 to be repaid with the greater of 0.38461539 BTC or $220 on 06/19. Fee=2%.  Active
non2 offered a Loan of 3 BTC on 06/14 to be repaid with a sum 3.3 BTC on 06/24.Active

Means 3.8 BTC + $756.75 = $2169 (Preev.com for ease) + $756.75 = $2925.75

My school taught us that $2925.75 is almost 3x $1000 (or 2.92575x, to be exact).

I apologize for the confusion, and I will be absolutely sure to write a letter to my previous math teachers to help ensure they are straightened out and understand that $3k < $1k. Thank you! You've saved many other students from going through the same failed mathematics courses.

He tried in every possible way to avoid giving collateral or enough collateral. He said, in turn:

1) His reputation is collateral
2) Some weird silver/gold coin enough to cover 50% of the sum, cost of shipping to be split with lender ( ;D)
3) 100% cover with altcoins held by someone but giving out 0% interest

All backed up by assorted crazyness, weird math and fake investors up for nonsense amounts. Deals negotiated by PM of course.

I actually need 1.5btc for the rest of my rent this month, and for supply's to finish my recently contracted job(which I won't be able to do without this loan) and I'm going to fluctuate the profited money back here to you(at a negotiated interest rate I assume?), and into my new endeavor. In order to be able to move funds up instead of down. I can't do much with what I have at my disposal currently. I could have the loan paid back within 2 weeks.

Hi, I would like to point out that bl4kjaguar has paid me back 10% in about a week after taking his promotion.

I have also traded with him on Localbitcoins a few months ago many times and he is one of my trusted seller/buyer.

Thanks

Not that it is my business nor this is an endorsement for his loan.

If you notice no one is questioning his outside reputation. It is simply worthless around here.

He must provide collateral to get a loan in the LENDING section, failing this he looks more and more like an hoax and a scammer.

[iI made .115 bitcoins on the .55 bitcoins sold initially.:

Your profit margin is irrelevant. Based on the interest rates you are ordering, there is no rational reason that you would want to share the returns instead of financing everything yourself. Selling on LocalBitcoins does not scale, and it appears you sell & buy you should not be limited in capital. Further investments would not increase your returns, and as such

ponzi

Hey I can bold and size too :)

I am currently unable to finance it all myself. Did you think about that?

I am somewhat limited in capital, but things are easing with the new loans.

I am not expecting to receive any more loans; the lenders I am now working with are flexible, but I would like to get a better interest rate, so I am still advertising. :)

ponzi
Actually, it is a real arbitrage system which makes profit. A Ponzi would have collapsed already! And a Ponzi would not be able to pay back non2's recent loan. So wait and see; don't just make accusations when you simply don't know the facts.

New promotion: Rate will increase by 0.1% for every 100 completed escrows of at least $10 on my account.

I have corrected some loan conditions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=598564.msg6584382#msg6584382) for non2.
The liquidity helps to keep me very busy! But I need lower interest rates!

I am rolling out the red carpet for new lenders.

This is as stupid as accepting a loan without collateral.
Who cares about his skills? If he does 4.5, 7 or even 100% weekly I am happy for him.

no collateral again?

No tangible collateral!

I am not going to let you hold my $11 so that I can trade with your $10 (for a fee).

That is simply bad for business!

why don't you get an item of value and ship it to a reputable escrow?

All available capital is used for trading. Makes sense?

Stop whining in my thread.

That is simply bad for business!

Yes, for those without a proper business plan or weak shoulders.

Giving without collateral is a partnership where I (the lender) provide the capital that you (the borrower) sell for profit. I would require a minimum 60% of the reported profits on such a venture. As does any reputable gambler.

If you are that solid and want to stay away from altcoins why don't you get an item of value and ship it to a reputable escrow? A pair of earrings, a ring you never wear, expensive electronics.... anything.

Face it, no one is going to give you a penny here without collateral as this is the rule. You may try, of course, but take a look at the facts: no one is taking your offers while secured requests with lower interest ratios are served on a daily basis.

EDIT: I am not whining and begging is not allowed bucko. Please close.

Now offering collateral!

I will send you $11 of bitcoin for every $10 that you send me first; then, if you send me $11 next week, I will gladly send you $10 + interest + insurance (if any).

Send me $50 to pocket an easy $5. Transactions are instant, free, and private if using LB online wallet!

Be sure your wallet is secure with 2FA. Currently offering up to $55 collateral to new lenders.
Use my LocalBitcoins ad to send me a message (https://localbitcoins.com/ad/100800/).

I am open to escrows up to $50 or to the offer described above.

If you want collateral...
You have 2 options:
1) Send me coins first for both lending and repayment.
2) You handle the escrow for both lending and repayment.

Accepting $50 max for secured loans.

Good luck.  8)

After I can verify it's you, I will give you the loan in any amount up to 2btc, with 5% interest per week. Is this ok?

I can confirm. Essentially what happened was this (for full disclosure):

Loan was made. He couldn't fill the entire thing in repayment so he offered to pay back the balance the next day. I made a request to just roll over the remaining amount into a new loan, and added some more funds on top of it (being that he has a good reputation).

Yesterday, about 6 hours early, he repaid the entire balance that was owed (the rolled over amount, the extra loaned on top of that, and all interest).

He wouldn't let me do another loan right now, but we are 100% settled as per the agreement (loan) at this point and I'd have no issue working with him again in the future if he was up for it.

Hello,

I am now accepting loans via auction on this thread. This post is announcing the first auction!

Today, I am offering four different promises: 1 week and 2 week "notes", with secured and unsecured rates (bitstamp is the reference exchange).

I am writing down my promise for up to $1,000 of debt for each note, so the total being auctioned is 4,000.

EDIT: Withdrawn due to no collateral.

I'm assuming the only difference between secure and unsecure loan is collateral and no collateral? I suggest that all "bids" be open public posts for transparency. You could claim that someone bid only 2% interest per week in PM if you didn't receive the results you wanted.

Yeah, I don't do silent auctions so I'm out on this one.

It is a good chance to see if he is legit or another one of those scammer/ponzier of unsecured lending.

Well for the record, I did receive repayment for the btc I previously loaned him. It was a little late, but I still received full amount + interest. No collateral, so it was unsecure right?

No collateral is offered.

Secured=based on $USD value and tied to exchange
Unsecured=based on bitcoin

Some people like secured loans.  :P

Ah I see. Glad you clarified, because some people like myself or killerloop assumed secured means collateral, rather than the amount being tied to fiat or btc. You might consider upping the interest amount, most people here tend to not give loans unless there was collateral, no matter how trusted you are.

I am glad that Killerloop has bid in the auction.

I still need some liquidity, so if you do not want to bid, please message me if you are interested in lending around these same rates. This means you, ranlo and haploid23  :P

I do not hold any altcoins; I only trade BTC/USD.

I will not accept any up-front cost or risk as a requirement for obtaining a loan.

I am not going to let you hold my $11 just so I can use your $10 for trading.

I got the impression his offer to loan you money was based on you claiming it would be secured by collateral. I doubt he will give you an unsecured loan.

Indeed. If you look at the types of posts he makes and loan he gives out, he only does it with collateral. So there is some misunderstanding with the term "secured" loan. I'm pretty sure he will retract the bid as well.

Anyways OP, I've sent you PM, but not for a private bid.

Secured means "secured by collateral", the proper term for what you meant is "tied/untied"

Offer is, of course, withdrawn.

Well, .0525 btc has been returned to my address, so I'd say it's a good deal! Remember, don't gamble with more than you can afford to lose, but so far, I've made a great return on investment. Thanks, 1aguar!

Just wanting to update publicly for the record.  blk4jaguar just paid me back with agreed interest.  Slightly late but he added the couple of extra days in the form of a few more satoshi's.  Pleasure to work with somebody honest.

I want to publicly update also: he had a loan due on July 31, ended up being late, couldn't repay full amount (but did pay almost half of it), we agreed for more time for the remaining amount to be due today. He cannot repay once again, so I'm forced to give another extension. I'll update once he fully repays the loan.

That's how Ponzi schemes begin to unravel.
A few late payments...then, a late payments turn into partial payments...those turn into promises to repay with extra interest, but no payments...lastly, no more payments and no communication...

I'm not going anywhere. Now more than 7,000 completed escrows (at least $10 value traded).

Still making trades every day and earning lots; never selling below $700.

Knowing that he could not pay me back for a couple weeks now, you still decide to send to him a loan? This makes almost no sense.

You sir are absolutely right.  Truth is, I didn't take the time to actually read through entire thread and could very possibly cost me my bit-dime.  I've only had one previous dealing with blk4jaguar in the past and though he paid a little bit late he did pay.  I totally get what is being said above now that I've actually taken the time to read it a bit more carefully instead of just seeing an LBC account with a butt-ton of trades and getting all excited.  Hopefully we both end up getting paid back what we are owed in the end but if for some reason I don't I suspect this is a lesson I won't soon forget.

I do believe I warned all of you about what is happening, he is selling traded Money Paks.

EX. He buys MP for bitcoins then turns and sells the MP for bitcoins

The problem lies in he never knows if someone empties them before he sells them, thus he is having a bunch of problems. Not only that MP is locking accounts, because some crafty scam artist has caught on to his moves. So they just sell him the MP Reverse or use it before he can sell it, then when the end customer has no Idea and it locks them out of all MP services. But hell I have warned many about many things but it seems to always be FUD till someones coins are gone  :'(.

Actually, this is never the source of any problems; I should know...

Is that a fact? How would you know for sure that I am being regularly scammed?
