We have the pleasure to present to the BTCtalk community something we've been working on for a few months now. A physical Dogecoin coin that acts as a wallet, like the well known Casascius coins.

Face value is 10.000 Doge, once you receive the coin we will fund them with that quantity. (We ship from and are based in Europe, so no legal problems)

in that case, please do make sure each coin is individually in a secure bag; keeping them in good condition is vital.

Sure! I still have, shipping should be around 7$, they are made of Zinc Alloy. I imagine it would take about a week to deliver, you have to pay the 10k doge in advance.

We just started funding coins, we are now open for orders again :)

Received my coins. Here is a short review:

Shipping: Prompt and proper. Fair price, but unattractive for small overseas overseas.
Packing: Very good. Bonus points for the coin-flaps with attached sleeves for keeping them closed.
Metal: Visible scuffs and marks from minting/coating(?) process, very insignificant 2mm 'shiny spot' on rim in 1 out of my 5 coins
Hologram: SUCH original, complicated and intense. Looks different from every angle. MUCH better in person then in a photo. Many holograms are not set perfectly straight to line up with the coins. Features rockets, moons, "To The Moon", "Original", "Crypto Imperator", and more.
Public key: Comes folded to the coin flap (not touching coin), a slip of paper with slightly torn edges containing key and QR code. Coin number is not written on it, so don't mix them up!

WOW factor: Excellent hologram design, Quality product for a fair price.

Future improvements:
-Have "Crypto Imperator Coin #xx" or such written on the public key slip. if nothing more, write the # on it in pen betide the QR code.
-Set the holograms evenly so that the first bits appear evenly through the window.

Conclusion: This is a great coin and likely the beginning of a popular brand of physical doge and other coins, with the ideal market being beginners who are not yet willing to buy much more expensive coins. These don't compare to silver proofs, and should not be compared with them. At $10 + Doge, these are truly the most accessible physical crypto coins on the market. There is a bright future for Crypto Imperator.

1. We ship from Spain, Europe.
2. Shipping for 1 coin is 7$.
3. Yes, you can pay the Doge in BTC.
4. For that quantity we are not offering bulk discount, only for 10 or more coins.
5. Main post shows the available numbers, #33 is not available.

Ok so cost of coin is $16 or 0.02532
Cost of Doge is 0.00000037 (cryptsy) X 10,000= 0.0037 BTC or $2.33
Shipping is $7 or 0.01106 BTC

Total cost to buy and ship 1 coin is 0.04008 BTC or $25.36 USD

It's not your fault. Every time I order some coins, customs checks it. For some reason they think it's legal tender or something similar. So every time from now onwards I ask  the seller to declare it as novelty collectibles.

I can clearly see that the lower numbers are hand picked, the mint of this coin is significantly better than the two other I got. Great coin!

Mint quality of #006 coin is significantly better too, but also this coin has oxidised and there's tarnish on the edge. I quickly transfered it to an air tight capsule.

While non-special edition ones are shiny(no oxidation), their quality of minting is poorer.

Uh, sorry to hear about the oxidation, does not sound good.

I looked at mine one more time, it is really in great condition, I do not see any oxidation or tarnish. Only a few very small scuffs on the front from manufacture process. I am seriously considering sending this one to ANACS.

i compared my non-special edition and auction edition ones. non-special coin looks shiny and 006 coin looks dull, and tarnish is reddish colour.

Yes, all limited edition coin are picked among the bests.

Hum, that does not sound right, we inspect every coin before assembly. Please email us some photographs of the oxidation. And let us apologize for that.

i have just given away one of two of your coins to a colleague for a souvenir, so i cant photograph both coins side by side for comparision regarding shiny/dull concern.

also i need some time to get #6 photographed, #6 looks dull compared to my other piece which is shiny, or maybe the finish is more of matt type? thats why it looks oxidised?

theres a line of reddishness on the edge too.

overall a great looking coin, still considering getting a roll of 20.

So you will make a total of 500 regular edition dogecoins and the batch after that will be a different design?

500 is the total planned for this design, 100 of this 500 are the limited edition coins. And the remaining 400 coins are for the normal and DIY edition.

It would help the collectors market if you can provide the exact number of normal/DIY coins out of that 400  8)

Well by the looks of it, plenty of people have ordered from him in the past. I'm not sure if all 25 went though as it was quite a steep price (considering what it is).

i have guessed 10 pre-ordered super limited doge wouldn't be an issue, but didn't expect 25 to get sold-out before publicly announced.

I had ordered it as soon as I saw the email on my phone.  I got #002.  Price was steep IMHO, but I decided to get it.

The Super Limited edition silver coin; now called "Super doge": Has began production (dies are being made) we expect to have a coin sample in 3 weeks and the 25 coins ready to be packed in 30 days.

Bitcoin series 1, is going to enter production this week and will be ready in about a month.

I will definitely  order some as I did before but for ordering 1oz gold coins you should reveal your identity, location etc for the buyers, as done by others who came up with gold bitcoins. BTW when will We be getting the silvers? Kudos for the excellent work!

Regarding the gold coin, we just got a quote from the mint.

It would go for ~1750$* 1/2 oz .999 fine gold. Presentation box, air-tite, certificate, engraving and 1 million doge included.

* Expecting confirmation of VAT exemption as per bullion gold, if not add a 21%

The fact that only 10 coins are made makes the price really high, but we think that is a good number.

We wanted to say that, in case you redeem the coin, the serial number is physically engraved into the coin key insert (Not with laser, but machined by hand) so you still know wich coin you have.ç
