scrypt pool def not working

BUT duo.kickasspools.net for SHA256 NOT Scrypt is working

I just posted that duo.kickasspools.net is up for SHA256 but not getting reported shares on the site but miner is hashing happily sooooooo i dunno

Blocks are still in the FAIR RELEASE range (0.02 DUO/Block), please look at the time between blocks before you declare instamining.

Is there an issue on the Scrypt side of things? The SHA pool I'm mining seems to be fine, we had 100+ Mh/s on Scrypt and were hitting regularly, then.... not so much.

As far as scam coin... seems like not making full reward until after ~1k blocks does level the field a bit. Nice idea. I'm interested to see where this goes.

It was more painful with 0 reward on x13 XHC until 720 so basically pool.mn was doing ~600Mh and every other miner/pool held back and let them get 0 for it and dragged it out a whole day, at least theres 4-6th on it now with many workers, .02 isn't so bad, how much of the 2 DUO/block do you think you're really gonna get with a few whales around (ヅ

I dont think solo mining is worth trying at this difficulty.. As we are approaching 2 duo reward blocks, we can expect difficulty even more.. so better to mine at pool i think.

On Coinminers pool [SCRYPT] i just modified the fee on withdrawals to 0 so the pool fee is 1% and the fee on manual and auto withdrawals is 0

0.005 is too less. Considering the total number of coins and the current coin difficulty, the value should be a lot higher.

IMO this could go two directions...

1. The dev has some great future plans for this coin, but keeps quiet until he has mined some while dif. is low
--> After a few days he might get active and release an amazing roadmap --> dif will go sky high!

2. No future plans at all...dev stays quiet...coin will die within a few days...

My biggest concern for now is the confirmation time...

I have seen this too many time before.
Already the Dev has gone AWOL, its obvious once the block reached 998 the interest and hash rate would skyrocket.
All it takes is a quick hello, good luck or thanks from the Dev, but even that is too much to ask and bestow a little confidence.

i have both scrypt and sha256 asics, so not complaining too much, but this is a bit hard.

for 12 hours of mining 5,3mh scrypt and 6.3gh sha256 i made about 0.15 so far. (ipominer and kickasspools)
so each DUO should be worth about 0.06 btc for that hash to even be worth 0.01....far less than usual for launches.

Clamouring for an exchange so early is completely ridiculous.  If exchanges had any scruples they would wait until a coin network was 3-6 months old before they even considered adding it.  If that were the case there wouldn't be anywhere near as many coin releases, consequently there would be a lot less scams and everybody would know that devs were serious and committed.

Don't expect the coin to hit the markets any time soon. Its such a new coin and not enough exist to sustain an exchange.
Have some bloody patience, mining new coins does include a margin of risk and cashing in so early will only kill it.
Allow the network to grow a little, get a stash of coins and while the difficulty is low get as many as you can.

Don't see the 2 coin payout as a bad thing, expect it to fetch a good price (0.005-0.002) when released which is massivley more than multi pools are paying.
I'm sure once the coin does hit the market, as long as people are not willing to part with them for short change the price will hold well at high value.

Do your calculations and look at historical figures on similar coins or factor in the different payouts.
I am mining this coin on https://www.ipominer.com/ as 'midgegaunt' and all my 140MH/s is on this thing.
I know it will pay off, with the difficulty below 100 I think the payout is good at this level.
Once the coin hits the market in maybe a few weeks I'm sure others will jump on board and send the difficulty sky high.

He works, I should be able to get you an answer.  I had an issue with p2p submission of scrypt work.  Even if the conf was set to scrypt it would eval as sha.

Not going to try to gauge or speculate on the starting price,  this generally works itself out in the long run.

It seems the asking is around the 0.05-0.06 range. I think thats fair.
Obviously the idiotic buy orders are waaaaay below the coins value and are cheeky enough to try buy the entire currently mined coins for less than a BTC. If you are selling on Bittrex, don't be stupid and dump all your coins for pittance, the buyer will profit massively from it.
Hold your ground sell at no less than 0.05!

The only person who is selling at these prices must be someone who got the coins for free because mining them is no way profitable at these prices.....

I got my bets it is the pools selling their coins. Everyone always forgets about the pools but in they end they usually own 1 or 2% of the total coins.

People selling their coins on Bittrex at such a low value are also stupid because there clearly isn't a profit selling so low you are just making a loss, unless you have free electric and mining hardware then you will make a small amount of money.

Its the only way one can attribute value to this coin.  It is the first step of many in an on going project such as this.

On selling at a low value:
We have no control on what price people decide to buy/sell.  The market will fluctuate as it will.

On your vocabulary:
There are many ways to construe your thoughts that do not involve swearing or name calling.  When you result to this level you usually end up losing the higher ground.

What really perplexes me about this coin is the high difficulty still.  There are still tons of people mining this coin apparently.
I mean it's up well past block 10,000 - and difficulty hasn't fallen lower than half a million for SHA256 all week.
So there's still thousands of DUO being mined out there, and they aren't being dumped anywhere.
This one is a buy and hold for me.

DUO has a market on FOBCoin.com, but... you know... it's not Bittrex, is it.

Does anyone know what is happening?

I have solve the problem of wallet sync by overwriting peers.dat with older one I have.

Current was 2kb but old is 24kb. It is also happening with clean install of wallet.

duo.kickasspools.net is working good after four days of not paying out, it is unbelievable what was needed to do to make contact with someone responsible for it. :)

It would seem to be another shortlife fadcoin from http://libertycoins.co <- follow the "duo" link, the "lxc" link is of interest to Librex owners. Having hung out the Libertycoin investors to dry by deliberately and mockingly preventing a community takeover (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600322.msg7730309#msg7730309), the libertycoins.co dev went on to punt out DUO and then LXC.

It may be the same person as the paypro dev, dunno.

Last night I was thinking about that, I even try to buy parallelcoin.info but it is not available. Do you maybe know who to ask to give me that domain?

I will make the plan for this seriously and yes I will try to put crew together.

This is my pet for real and I will make it thrive I promise.

First I need to fix the wallet, because of parallelcoin.info not working it can not show few things in it, and compile it for win, mac and linux.

Than I will make website, blockexplorer, faucet etc..
