Title: Need help where to post my $200k = right now ~500 BTC finders fee
Post by: caesarea on October 15, 2014, 01:29:42 PM
my offer is $200k = ~ 500 BTC for the person who will help me to sell the following property.

https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/178-beautiful-7br-luxury-villa-caesarea-israel (https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/178-beautiful-7br-luxury-villa-caesarea-israel)

the one who will introduce me to a buyer or will give me a  unique tip that will sell the property will get the finders fee.

IMHO if this unique located property is sold for BTC this deal will make history like the first 2 Pizza deal sold for BTC.

Thanks in advance

Wow! What an insane offer!

Not-so-pro tip: If you want to sell a luxurious property, try finding some peers from the wealthy. Have you tried posting some ads on the internet? Also, try targeting the rich's weakness (most of them are tend to be attracted on things that has a high value) and explain in complete detail about the pros and cons when they buy that. Real estate is a good investment imo, because as the world gets more populated, the value of space tend to increase.

Good luck in finding a buyer! :)

Well, if you are willing to be so generous, I expect there are certain features about the property that make it a tricky sale
Not doubting you, just observing that there is no such thing as a free lunch

WRONG! people who know the area know if there is any problem. as it is a luxury property in a special place there are not many interested customers right now.

Maybe contact Julie Wainwright who runs therealreal.com. She's trying to provide a service between eBay's high end and Christie's low end. Her service involves coming to the homes of the rich and famous to consign the items they are no longer in love with. I bet she knows someone who will take that beautiful property off your hands.

I can't think of a single person looking to purchase property in Israel.

This is going to be a hard sell.

This is will not be easy sell real estate - first of all - it is in Israel - not US or EU. It is also not very popular tourist destination  ;)

No one said it is an easy sell  :) therefore I try all possible ways with an high finders fee and by the way Israel is one of the most secure countries with nice people, beaches, food and expensive milk products  ;)

thank you for the posting

thanks for the question. it is not overpriced.  price is already reduced. it is the asking price that means any serious offer will be taken in consideration. as I wrote before, people who know the area will understand that it is an opportunity.
I did a fee website myself, there is more info about the place. I am not a coder  :) I am an old man who likes the bitcoin idea.

I am not sure whether you should move it to Goods (because of the property itself) or Service (because you are looking for someone to find interested buyers for you).

Anyway, good luck selling the property and making history. :)

How will one know he won when you are using an altnick?

legit question......... :)

lets say you will introduce me to a legit customer he will know my name etc so I am sure he will tell you if he bought or not.
there is no problem to find out if the property is sold or not. at least for me it wouldnt be a problem to find out if a property that was posted on bitpremier was sold or not and to whom.

and btw in case I sell it against btc it will be in many newspapers and in tv at least in our country

just introduce me to a customer and you will see that I am legit.

any questions?

thanks

yes I will

and why are You saying probably not. every real estate agent would get a fee for selling my home. the fee is different in each country.

just connect me with a serious buyer and You will see.....

a buyer is a buyer and his right is to negotiate a lower price.

a person who refers a buyer will get the finders fee.

but as we are not stupid but smart people we know that a buyer who read the thread will ask a friend to introduce him to get the finders fee............

thanks for the question

thank You for the question.

yes 500 btc but please understand as the asking price is 3 million USD in btc the finders fee is usd 200k = about 500 btc as today.

I am very eager to make the deal against btc so all will make history. but to be frank if a customer wants to split fiat and btc I will sell also.

thank You for the question

the guarantee is You, if You will bring me the customer that means You know the customer before he will contact me.
from this point on I will sign a paper that You will get 200k usd = xyz btc on pay day. any real estate deal must be signed and completed by a notary. or You sign a contract with the buyer that he needs to hold back the 200k usd = xyz btc on payday and give it to You.

In my experience, the best way to sell a property is normally ask the neighbours, because they can either but it to swap homes or expand theirs, or know someone interested (and they vouch for the neighborhood!). So, if you know them, invite them over and show them the house because they might know someone. If you don't know them, go meet them right now!

If the prime minister is around, I guess he knows someone that is in his inner circle, with money and that wants to live near him, in an AWESOME home.

good luck

Hello caesarea,

If you want to remove doubts that you're a troll, you can you verify yourself to be the one Layla Calcali interviewed here (http://youtu.be/TQK4MIvngjM?t=34s) by posting a picture of yourself holding a sign with your username and date ;)

The Israeli Bitcoin Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/btcil/permalink/605468026199596/) was following the story back in February when it was posted on BitPremier and aired on Layla Calcali. If you're interested in getting to know some of us, feel free to drop by the Bitcoin Embassy in Tel Aviv (http://bitembassy.org/) :)

Good luck!

Hello WiW

thank You for the message. why should I invest time and efforts on bitcointalk and reddit etc to sell home that is not mine?
I dont see any but please let me know your opinion.

the easiest way would be to visit me because I understand that You are located in Israel and maybe not far away from Caesarea. then you could tell the user that it is me who was interviewed. in tv

then there will be other users here posting that you are another troll and my trolling partner  ;D

but you are always welcome to visit me. by the way are you a coder?

It's just the internet... You never know who's trolling, who's a shill, and who's just a bored 16 year old.

but you are always welcome to visit me. by the way are you a coder?

Not a coder, and I rarely find myself in Caesarea, but I'll keep it in mind :)

I understand Your point. rarely in Caesarea? that means you are far away? tel aviv and more south? if You visited the btc meetup evenings in google office we should know each other :)
last time I was in btc embassy in tel aviv ( a while ago ) I met there Jonathan (bit of gold) and Meni

anyway if You are near Caesarea just give me a PM and you are welcome to visit us in case we are at home :)

Hey, I just sent you a PM with some helpful information. My family does real estate here in the states.

If you can't sell it by owner and its just sitting there. I would either rent it out or let a real estate company sell it. The normal % cut for the real estate agent is 6%, 3% for the Lister and 3% for the broker. I would try to talk to the people I sent you to via PM and try having them sell it for a flat 3% (This is what I do). They should take it!

Hope this helped!

I answered the PM and hope You understand the point.but thanks for trying.

I will repeat ......in Israel I did maximum because I live here so chances are very slim here that I missed a potential customer.
but abroad the interesting countries with jewish people are USA, Canada, UK, France, Belgium.........

he also gave the article to me for review before posting it.

if You would write an article and get it out to other news sites You are welcome to do that, but I would propose that You will add Your contact address so people would contact You and will introduce them to me. I hope this makes sense

Well when anyone goes to buy a property they just dont pay 3 million dollars cause thats what your asking. The price has to be supported by a CMA or something that justifies that price. That may be why you have no interest in it thus far.

Yea don't worry, I do not hold a Brokers License or anything  ;) this property will NEVER sell until you provide

INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'APPRAISAL'
Appraisals are typically used either for taxation purposes or to determine a possible selling price for the property in question. The appraiser can use any number of valuation methods in order to determine the appropriate value to assign, including the current market value of similar properties, quality of property and valuation models.

CMA
When you are ready to meet with a Realtor you may already have an idea of what your home is worth. You may have seen what other homes in your neighborhood have sold for or kept an eye on local listings. Your agent will prepare for you a comparative market analysis (CMA) that is an in-depth version of any research you may have done on your own.

might be right in some countries and for some properties. but not in my case and I strongly disagree.

I know what an apraisal and CMA is  ;D

Just saying no one in there right mind would buy a property with out one, as the seller it would be in your best interest to get one. Who know you may be undervaluing your property.

so stay out of this thread if You have no clue of our country's real estate market and just leave out Your negative input.
sure thing that after seeing the property in real every potential buyer will want to make his DD. thats fine with me.
and beside this in our area properties were bought by lawyers with customer's POA and the new owner didnt see the property in real (only on pictures)

just for info and no offense intended

I guess if you're the buyer you could kind of get 500 BTC off the final BTC price by acting as the finder yourself.

well said :) but first step would be to contact me > to visit me and see the property in real > make an offer > and when accepted > send the coins over :)

or You give POA to Your lawyer and he will take care of it.

dont forget the whole process will be accompanied (for now) by Israel TV and all involved will make BTC History :)

Wow, in the US at least, the commission for real estate sales is usually 6%, which is divided between the buyer's agent, seller's agent, and their respective brokers. Offering 6.66% just for a tip leading to a sale, which presumably would not be the only commission.... Wow.

I have a few very wealthy clients that have gone through me for investments in many things including Bitcoin. Some wealthy enough that $3mill on a property like that would be a no brainer.

Can we chat a little more in PM. Obviously I dont want to discuss my clients, who they are or what they do in public. So if you are okay with it, would you mind talking privately with me?

thanks for the question.

the last price is always the price the buyer and the seller will agree on after sitting together and negotiating the final
price.
I will never negotiate the final price here in a forum or in an email or by phone. no one will buy property without visiting it or seeing it in real.

an asking price is always negotiable.

why did You ask?

Israel is actually a great place to invest. You just need to know what's good and what's bad.
As with all investments, there's an element of risk involved.
Take places such in Israel such as Modiin. Apparently investors tripled their money there!

Your not going to find a buyer through the internet. Hire a broker.

Honestly, unless you have prior experience selling real estate and have time to burn, hire a realtor. Not only will they do the work selling it for you, but you will likely end up with more money in your pocket. No one on this forum is going to buy your house, nor refer someone to buy. People don't see a house on a forum and decide to drop $3m on it.

Best of luck selling it, its looks like a great home.

first of all thank You for Your input. very much appreciated. realtors in USA and Europe are different (work wise) than in our country. if I am saying different I mean very bad behavior. we dont have seller agents here :(

I am still convinced that the forum yes could help to find a potential BTC buyer. there are even charity raffles in the USA who are raffling properties. I have no connections to those charity groups.

I understood that those charity organisations do contract with the property owner that they will buy and pay the property after they raffled it.

maybe if some one here has any contact to chabad charity in the USA, that could be a chance.

thanks again

I can't be bothered reading through all the replies, and I've been on this thread before but have you tried James Edition?

It's like BitPremier but for Fiat Currencies.

There are hundreds of Real Estate agents who list properties worth of to 1Bil Euros.

They also sell luxury cars, Yachts and other things people lower class people can't afford.

http://jamesedition.com/

Hi

in July I talked to James Edition. they asked 4000 Euro for 6 month but couldnt promise anything because there were not many visitors looking at Caesarea area. in general they have contracts with world wide real estate agents and they put their stuff there and it is a good deal for them but not for private people. so I didnt do it.

but thanks for trying, any help and idea is very much appreciated.

Sorry to be the party pooper but I just don't think that the market is right at this moment for anyone in the BTC community to splash out and buy a villa.
Your best bet is to just find some agents and pursue selling it as opposed to pursuing the way that you sell it.

GL!

my offer is $200k = ~ 500 BTC for the person who will help me to sell the following property.

https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/178-beautiful-7br-luxury-villa-caesarea-israel (https://www.bitpremier.com/5-real-estate/178-beautiful-7br-luxury-villa-caesarea-israel)

the one who will introduce me to a buyer or will give me a  unique tip that will sell the property will get the finders fee.

IMHO if this unique located property is sold for BTC this deal will make history like the first 2 Pizza deal sold for BTC.

Thanks in advance

Does the payment have to be in bitcoins?

Has the actual house been built or is it only a design?

thank you for the questions.

regarding the price I have to say that I would prefer BTC because I would like to make history :) but any combination of coins and fiat would be also fine. everything is negotiable IMO.

the house is build and we are living in this/our home. I will post the link again where You see the pictures of the villa

I have a friend who happens to be a super rich, if I give him the info and his parents buy it for him will you escrow the 500 btc with a legit person.

It all depends if he likes it though..give me some things to sell him like the parties are crazy over there etc.

Some info on him, hes 26 has a factory in china started for fun and run some for his parents.

He skates, snowboards a lot when hes in california and he smokes a shit ton of weed.

thank You for the posting and trying. sure that the finders fee will put with an escrow ( that You propose) in case that the  buyer referred by you will buy the villa.
anyway lawyers from both sides need to take care of it. it will also attract a lot of media attention like the tv in our country.
each party needs to be sure to get his part of the deal

I think this is a pretty good tip:

At least while you're trying to sell it (if not permanently) offer it up on www.airbnb.com
I see lots of luxurious homes in Caesaria doing well there. Maybe you can gross $1200-2000/night. You could hire someone to manage it. I think you could at least make your 3 million that way over 10 years (and still own the property).

Other sites you can also use are homeaway.com and vrbo.com

I have experience renting out spaces on airbnb. It does extremely well, so much so that I'm always happy to rent any home in my area at a fair price, if the landlord is okay with me re-renting it on airbnb. I can generally make a 60-80% markup just renting it to people who take it for 1 month or more. If I have shorter-term guests, who pay more per night. I can make like 150% profit, but I tend to do 30+ day rentals. And people actually DON'T trash the place or cause problems. It all goes very smooth.

If you like the tip, feel free to send a reward of any amount to 1A7ST2MoWELLssJyDeL8hCY23fVTsMG6ew

If I were in Israel, I'd offer to help you manage it.

Other nearby luxury homes on airbnb:

Wow, what a really great offer and I think that you're really going to pay the commission.

I am a freelance writer and an online marketer and I worked on many online real estate affiliate gigs and I think I can pull some strings and find you some leads.

I will look through this matter and get back to you.

I am from Egypt and it would be rather easy for me to visit Israel if I really find you buying leads.

If you don't mind, please PM your email for better communications.

If you are interested, I will send you more about myself and my real identity so that you would know who you are dealing with.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and wish the best.

Break a leg!

You've probably done this already - but you could try finding contacts in the movie industry and see if they'd like to rent/film at your house. If this is successful you may also be able to find someone with some deep $ wallets who wants to buy the house. As I understand it there are a lot of folks in the movie industry of Jewish decent who may want to own some nice, high-end places in Israel.

why weird? there are many out there who love BTC and sell and buy whatever they can. if you are
BTC enthusiast so be happy. just google or ask Bitpremier how many properties, cars etc were sold for BTC.

and I sell my property and because I love the BTC idea I sell it also for BTC. whats wrong with that?

Hey I'm the one that said that I went to school with a couple of exchange students from Israel.  I've been posting this property and have had a very interested buyer email me today.  They are wondering if you are firm on you price and what the condition the place is in.  I really think we might have a buyer if we play our cards right here.  Please get back with me ASAP and let me know if the price is negotiable and the conditions of the property.  Also see if there is a chance that they maybe could check the place out.  I'm really praying this works out in our favor.
Thanks for your time,
seabass1985

Just out of curiosity, is the finders fee staying the same as I notice you change the asking price to reflect the fiat price you're asking, but as the title states $200k (500 BTC) finders fee, 500 BTC is more like $105k now

thank you for the question. $ 200k is the finders fee and that in BTC it will always be adjusted.

More photos, more angles.
It probably wouldn't hurt to record the entirety of the house.

Buy a $1,000 - $3,000 quadcopter with a good HD camcorder and give them a good idea of what the surrounding area looks like.

If you post something on a real estate site, if possible express in the description that you have more photos & video available upon their request by email... generally, these sites limit you on your post content, no links allowed etc. So get that aerial view uploaded to youtube and a get long set of photos uploaded to imgur or atleast bundle a ton of photos into a rar file.

might not be necessary though.

Somewhat curious what your current best offer is, if any have been made.

I have read a few pages of this thread.
I would like to know if the OP has any evidence to prove he has any ownership, control, or authority to act on behalf of the sale of this estate?

Can you show new pictures of yourself, holding a large card with your bitcointalk user name?
Perhaps offer a phone number where you can be reached for actual questions?

It is highly suspect that you are posting a large house for sale on a bitcoin forum.
It is my position that you do not have any connection to this estate, and intend only to somehow trick someone into paying you with a large amount of bitcoin.

It would make history to publicly sell such an estate for bitcoin.
Be honest, that is not your first motivation here.
You are also offering too much of a commission for a sales lead.

If you are an actual real estate sales agent, you would provide your name, number, office address, email, license number, and a lot more photos.

It appears you just found this estate online and are scamming.
I wish I was wrong, but I bet money you are a fake.

Yes I am a new account here but the human behind the screen was not born yesterday.

Yes, this is my FUN account I use for other fun things.
Your website is fake as fuck.
You pretend to have a website for selling property, with no means for sellers to register and submit new listings.
Every listing is stolen from Zillow type sites by the same person.
All in en effort to steal bitcoins.

You are not a real estate agent, or you could easily post your business card info in less time than it takes to make clown jokes.

I asked you for proof, you are asking for a 3 million dollar sale.  Not me.
I am not selling things, you are.

You are as unprofessional as a child.
Your reply has proven my point, nobody should waste their time with your pathetic scam.

Goodnight.

yes it is still available. but to advertise in israel would be trouble for nothing. in Israel I did all what was possible. but if you have connections in europe, france, belgium etc that would make sense.
but in any case if the lady in israel has new ideas and she wants to talk to me so please PM me her phone number and I call her and will even invite her if she thinks she has a chance.

thank you for the posting and trying to help

Someone sold a house for BTC in Canada or in USA near the border with Canada! The thing is he sold it for 1$ and the rest of the value was paid in BTC as the laws at that time weren't able to handle only BTC transaction for a house!

OP, why don't you try to get in touch with Stefan Katafai. Seems he is in direct contact with 300 billionaires.
His website has a phone number and email address: http://www.agent4stars.com/
I think you should highlight the proximity to the Prime Minister's residence.

Edit:
OP, another option. Trump International Realty. Contact them here: http://www.trumpinternationalrealty.com/contact/
Who knows, Donald Trump might buy for himself.  ;)

200.000$ = right now ~500 BTC on that date was approximately 500BTC

right now 17.02.2015 it is approximately 828BTC ... he says the fee is 200.000$ paid in BTC at the day of the trade ... that's why he doesn't need to update the topic! Because ~ means approximately ;)

Does that answer your question?

Isnīt it time to edit the header ? BTC is down like 50% since October.

just read the header again and try to understand what is written there. but thanks anyway

$200k = right now ~500 BTC finders fee - makes no sense obviously.

makes perfect sense if you read it and understand it. but yes you need to understand what you read.
lets give you another chance :) take your time

200.000$ = right now ~500 BTC on that date was approximately 500BTC

right now 17.02.2015 it is approximately 828BTC ... he says the fee is 200.000$ paid in BTC at the day of the trade ... that's why he doesn't need to update the topic! Because ~ means approximately ;)

thank You for explanation and showing to some people here that it actually is very clear and understandable.

Any bounty for someone wanting to hire the appartment? I may have a customer. I once did a job for a casino owner.

Edit: Any bounty for me when i find someone else to hire it.

I may now someone, but I don't think he wants to buy it. I guess he would like to hire the villa.
Is there any bounty for that? For finding a hirer.

I would propose that you check if he wants to buy or to hire and then lets discuss it in more depth. thanks
