Title: [iGotScams] BALLS premine scam
Post by: iGotScams on November 22, 2014, 08:37:33 PM
This guy with spots on his BALLS thinks he can continue pilfering the community full time. Whining everywhere how Cryptsy won't add his latest bullshit scamcoin.

The clown launches a 5000% POS coin, 3 day proof of work (1 million coins) and then only posts it on bitcointalk with 1 day to go. Classy!

BALLS are good and nice to have some.
It is a nice experiment and I have back my investment and still have a lotofballs to stake.
Ok the mining period was very short but I bought all the BALLS alfter they were listed.
My plan is to keep my original BALLS and sell the stake when the price is good.
Very nice innovation the BALLS and I like them very much!

The thread is doing just fine. Nice to see you're taking issue with the important things  ::)

Nothing to say about your premine scam? I'm not surprised. Like you said, timestamps don't lie.

If this where true then where is the fire brigade screaming about experimenting with people's money?

With the 5000% stake in one week you have 2x as much BALLS.
I sold 50 % after 1 week and 50% after the second week.
I still have more BALLS than my start amount.
I say exelent investent no scam.
Just pick your moment to take your profit.

Sure, let's start with the basics

1) That's the second thread for it, why don't you link the original's timestamp?

2) It was posted here when we were on like block 10. There's plenty of reputable people that will back that up

3) Mining didn't stop until 3 days after staking started; you're an idiot. Just because staking starts, mining can't continue?

4) Only 900k coins were even mined. PoS took away many of the first 25k blocks

5) Cross reference timestamps from the block explorer with the forums

6) Shut the fuck up. Don't make it worse for yourself by continuing

I have only been banned here twice in nearly two years. First was when we posted Offline Staking for Maieuticoin, second was when we posted the Snowball Staking hardware

mprep has an agenda against me and my coins, or he is biased towards another shitty PoS coin. Look how many threads are allowed for random shit in this forum, but I post actual development, with both software and hardware, and get banned

Well done, you can count to 6!

You're full of shit. Shut the fuck up yourself, asshole. Here's what the network looked like a few hours after it was posted on Bitcointalk:

https://i.imgur.com/Q5uJRfy.png

How many of those blocks did you solve while you were solo mining the ENTIRE NETWORK TO YOURSELF. Must be hard to make a profit pre-mining 300K-400K coins.  ::)

You're a real class act. Congratulations, really, you've earned it.

And he quotes someone who posted over a full day after mining was public further proving that mining was fair lol so thanks for that

Stop being such a pussy and use your real forum name. Or are you scared that kvgear's reputation will be ruined now for being so utterly stupid?

Your name on Poloniex. Everyone saw you whining about this then say "ok I'm going to go make the thread now." If you're too scared to use your real forum name to post this, it shows how much of a bitch you are

Fuckin amateur 2014 trolls are too boring. 2013 trolls were way better. This is just a clusterfuck of misinformation and stupid, stupid people

LOL, good one! You're the only one looking lame and stupid as fuck. Spotty Balls here with his good job who still feels the need to scam. Maybe you're your own boss then, living off your scams? You definitely have enough dead coins under your belt.

Fuck you.

Fuck Balls.

Fuck all your future projects since they're pretty much guaranteed to be a waste of everyone's time.

A coin with small amounth qnd a huge POS is a great idea!
It iw a green solution for mining coins.
I agree the mining period was very short so not everybody coult take part.
I see it as a nice experiment and there is room for BALLS.
I keep them and only sell the stake and this topic is promotion for the coin.

Title: Re: [iGotScams] BALLS premine scam

like everyone else. lol
this coin can't help but must become worthless. It's designed to be worthless but you people don't see that  :D

whining about being scammed on the shitcoin makes you look even worse. Grow some taste. Utter shit and i knew from only reading the title it would fall apart within days. Is it still functional?

Maybe but I don't care.
The BTC I put in I have alraidy back so for now it is pure fun and research how it develops.
I like the "green" part of the snowball concept.
I found this coin in a post at HyperStake and I was happy to be on time to buy some nice snowballs.
Not much (2500) but enough to play with.
Actualy I sold some HYP to buy BALLS.
And a few days ago I sold some BALLS to buy 10K HYP back.
It is for me just fun and I have one serieus POS-coin I keep forever, you can gues wich one.
POS coin have the future and Snowballs is a very nice concept.
If there was an ICO for BALLS instead of mining period I hold them forever.
High POS is new in Cryptoland and in one day it is mature, for now it is fun for me and much others.
Keep posting FUD I don't care, I be here just for fun to explain why.

High POS is new in Cryptoland and in one day it is mature

it's not new. It failed many times before.
Insane high pos interest gives you exactly one single pump and dump to zero after that. Great coin!
You don't even need to experminet that in reality. There is no other outcome to it.

Yes, a history of secret premine clubs from Spots.

Lets look at Spots history.

He has a bad history of deliberately leaving in huge diff adjustments allowing for MASSIVE  INSTAMINES on all his coins.

Lets start with copperbars. A fucking stupid 1 week diff adjustment. Not only did this launch to some  private instamine club it had a stupid 1 week diff adjust.

Code:
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 7 * 24 * 60 * 60;  // one week

So maybe he learnt his lesson on Lotterytickets.

Code:
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 7 * 24 * 60 * 60;  // one week

Nope. Stupid  instamine.

So lets see if he learnt on his latest outing.

Code:
static const int64 nTargetTimespan = 2 * 24 * 60 * 60;  // 48 hours

Nope, this guy just can't help himself.

Believe all the bullshit you want, he knows these are in the code, deliberately leaves them in there, deliberately does these style launches then threatens to sue people who call him out.

So without the chance of being sued, I will leave it up to you to make up your own minds but diff adjust per block came in 1 year ago, just saying.  :D

Genesis block is so far in the past.

TIX was fair, don't lie; it's a year long whine so I'm over your tears about it. The algorithm is scrypt-jane, though, so it's not comparable at all with varying n's

That's not the only place difficulty adjustments are calculated, mudda...however, you are proving that you can do nothing but change one or two lines and clone a bunch of shit without actually taking the time to understand how everything really works. You are showing your amateur card. You sure you wanna go down this road with me again? I've stepped my personal game up in the last year or so and it looks like you have fallen very far behind now

Man...it really is tough to check the explorer and see it adjusted every block  ::)

In case you are too dense to figure it out, difficulty is the 3.5's. Don't forget this had over 800 Terahash on it for several days. Many blocks were being found per second on very reputable pools. Do I really need to get more unaffiliated, trustworthy forum members and pool ops that were there at launch to come in here and vouch for the coin's fairness?

So my "solo instamine" was with blocks at significantly higher difficulty to sync initial nodes up and get a few checkpoints in. This is what someone who knows what they are doing to launch a fair coin that won't break does. Just because you aren't used to legitimacy around here doesn't mean those who do it right are in the wrong

And on a personal note...

All I hear is.. Blah blah blah.. I missed the boat and then got scammed by 10 new shitcoins that had perfect diff adjustments. Now I'm sad and I feel like projecting my emotions onto others.

Goodnight children.

Why stop your count at height 22? The next two minutes have the same 1.0 difficulty. why tell your fan club scam club that it changes every block, then leave out the juicy parts.

It's called a difficulty reset for the actual launch with the real (fair) difficulty adjustments, rather than the super high difficulty I used to set up the network

You can be as mad as you want. Go read the first few pages of both threads and you will see how it was all posted, planned, and performed perfectly. None of this is a secret by any means. It was meant to be mined fast. We even put in fees that prevented anyone from moving coins for the first 2 days, discouraging pool mining. There were many systems in place to make it fair for both large and small miners

This is not your typical clone. We have many, many things going on in the code that none of you seem to be able to even find...

You didn't deny the instamine scam as it's impossible to deny. Lol checkmate, a few poor words with poor understanding will not save you this time.

Better start a big protest post big boy. Lol what an idiot.

You realize those blocks at 1.0 difficulty accounted for 4000 coins. There are nearly 10 million coins right now in 3 weeks. If this is the standard I am personally expected to achieve, I consider BALLS a very successful launch

You guys are literally complaining about a 0.0004% head start that doesn't even exist. That is a pretty high standard and I am flattered that you guys expect nothing but a perfect launch from me

I know at least one of you is talking shit just to talk shit. On a personal level, it doesn't bother me, but it's not cool to exaggerate about a coin that has a lot of investors if you have a problem with me. It would do all of you well to try starting 2015 with a bit more professionalism and general decency towards others around here

If you want to keep being an asshole for no reason that's fine, but it's not cool

For SHA-256 that diff adjust is quite frankly fucking pathetic and embarrassing.

I guess if you want to try and hide a shit cunt instamine, you should really disable the graphs that clearly displays it every-time you download the chain.

So sue me for proving you correct, your stupid ass put it in the client for everyone to see, every-time they download the client.

Lol, you can deny the numbers shitboy. Crypto doesn't lie, but desperate people do.

I'll respond to this one since it's important, but then I'm really done in here because I've already addressed every bullshit concern way more than I should have. It's the same genesis block as MMXIV, which was launched in May. I used the genesis block that was used for the coin swap to a Proof of Stake chain, which has been discussed in the first few pages of the thread; there is no secret about it to anyone who does even the slightest research into the coins. This was done on purpose and not a mistake. If you compile yourself, the source makes Snowballs-Qt as being named MMXIV-Qt, which is also on purpose

We were throwing around ideas to merge the two chains into one, or play with side chains, but decided against it for now. Using the same genesis block for both coins allows us many options later that other coin pairs don't have. BALLS was never meant to get popular, the whole reason we even launched it was to use as a rewards program for customers of our staking hardware units, allowing them to stake both MMXIV and BALLS on a single $100 standalone device

doesnt matter what you say
the fact you have made several coins, and probably profited heavily on them. already shows us your a scammer...
everyone that makes several coins (why would you have to make more than 1 coin if your first project is meant to be serious and not a ponzi scam) after taking profits from his previous ones is a douchebag man.. and you are one of those guys.

Title: Revenge of the HYP'sters
Post by: Spoetnik on November 26, 2014, 10:58:36 PM
kvgear was a fanboy of HYP coin and i think is just pissed off Balls stole his thunder LOL

Balls stole a LOT of the HYP crowd away from HYP.. i could tell because the switched from talking about the on tot he other on Polo's chat.

iGotSpots has agreed with me i think in that the high stake on HYP was kind of dumb but i think he just said well screw it if its what you all want then here.. have it LOL
You all asked for it so he gave it to you.. simple.

and i said before a few times at least he did it honestly unlike the HYP'sters crowd who lie their ass off play games and kiss ass.
people are often pretty friendly when they make mad money off your ass LOL
presstab = Mr. friendly kid who made 4 grand having an experiment coin made FOR him by Biomech LOL
one of the "HYP'sters" told me that before saying he ONLY around 4 thousand dollars profit on HYP coin..
and i said well.. must be nice i have had my portfiolio shrink every month non stop for 8 months while mining 24/7 + trades.
so yeah.. uhhh.... no wonder he's always happy and running around smiling and being your buddy.

also KVGEAR had offered me a shit load of HYP coins way back i think to shut me up or something and i said no.. keep em !

iGotSpots has also offered me some Balls coins or M's and i never got around to getting a wallet etc
So i have never had any of those coins at any time.. M or HYP or Balls !
So i have nothing invested by my own opinions..
and my key point here is iGotSpots's "Balls" is more trust worthy than the HYP guys based on all activity on chat and forums etc since both coins came out.
One has been up front about everything and the other has slithered around non stop with games and bullshit.
and i think this topic is a continuation of the HYP games and bullshiter by one of their Big ass HYP bag holders like i started saying here above ;)

don't believe me ? you can see some IRC logs i have or look on Polonibox.com for all comments i made verified *easily !

EDIT:
And hey since we're pointing out the obvious i might as well repeat myself (my specialty around here)
Read the topic here guys..
So it's a premine scam ? where is the premine then ? Proof ?

While the retards drool, Spots has some real innovation happening here:

(1)  A standalone Raspberry Pi staking device is actually an interesting experiment...
Though I don't see why he doesn't just upload an image for a standard Pi...
But maybe he has plans to evolve this into into something bigger...
Once you get into smart cards and security devices... it gets real interesting real fast.

(2)  An ultra-stake coin launch before settling into a sustainable level...
Has turned out to be a terrific way to create a widely, fairly distributed LIQUID coin.

In spite of the usual crazies braying for blood...
After 3 weeks BALLS has 340 enthusiasts with > 1000 coins...
And the Top 10 owns about 40%... with the Top 20 owning 50%.

That could easily be tweaked in endless ways... to produce more desirable distributions.

Guys really I am SICK and TIRED of these SHIT coins that give a bad name to Bitcoin.

We should all get together and create a software to delete them off the internet.

Obviously mining isn't profitable enough for you, you need to create new coins and instamine them, then post checkmate pictures when you get called out on your obvious scams. Saying BALLS was never meant to get popular? How stupid are you? Listen: you're a coin cloner premine/instamine scammer. GOT THAT? Give yourself a pat on the back.

iGotSpottyBalls, how many times are you going to say you're done with the thread and continue posting here? Can't help yourself can you?

Obviously mining isn't profitable enough for you, you need to create new coins and instamine them, then post checkmate pictures when you get called out on your obvious scams. Saying BALLS was never meant to get popular? How stupid are you? Listen: you're a coin cloner premine/instamine scammer. GOT THAT? Give yourself a pat on the back.

Spoetnik, i don't even know where to start with you LOL

easy............................... the PROOF part

topic title =  [iGotScams] BALLS premine scam

so let's see it loud mouth.

back it up or shut it.

You're either blind or stupid. Did you miss the part where he launched a coin and only started telling people about it the next day? On a 3 day POW, you're telling me that isn't scammy as fuck?  ::)

You've been around long enough to know better.

He mined it before anyone else knew about it. How is that not a premine? LOL

You also seem to think i'm defending HYP? Big surprise, another coin has dirt on it. Lots of coins do. Am i a hypocrite because I didn't list all the scams this forum has ever seen in this thread?

Clearly a BALLS fanboy, I look forward to your next post.

Classy!

https://i.imgur.com/pBXJZny.png

I just want to clear the air here. I helped launch Snowballs (BALLS) and tended to the original OP that was posted. 'I Got Spots' was banned from BitCoinTalk because of a feud that originated a few days earlier that was related to a special staking mechanism similar to PeerCoin which allowed for staking to occur while the wallet was not only closed but also while it was on the exchange which instead of the proprietor of the exchange getting the staking, the owner of the coin would be the one rewarded. Frankly to me, this was quite extraordinary and could not understand why he would be banned but indeed he was.

So I assisted in helping where I could when Snowballs launched which ended up being here on BitCoinTalk. The first OP is still there today but locked down as it should be. I would estimate it was one day before 'I Got Spots' was let off his ban and he immediately started a new OP. There was a thank you to me but I no longer see it in the OP. The only error I made was when I re-added more pools to the OP, I accidentally deleted a pool that looked the same but was not. There was one gentleman that was upset about that, if this is you, then I want you to know that I still have all the forwarded messages from 'I Got Spots' in regards to the Snowballs launch and you are welcome to contact me privately just as we communicated last time and I will be glad to provide those to you.

There was absolutely no pre-mine. 'I Got Spots' is dead against pre-mines unless its maybe an ICO or something. I will say that what I got out of helping, I made a horrible error once again and deposited the Snowballs into an exchange I never heard of that had buy walls offering unheard of pricing. I was able to trade the Snowballs for nearly 6 BTC because they were offering buys at like 0.001 BTC. However when I tried to withdraw I soon found out that the exchange 'HashNZ' was a bogus exchange. It took me a week and through the help of 'Linus Dunkers' to convince me that the BTC or Snowballs was not coming back and indeed those people running the exchange were not good people.

I am a 5+ POD Rated Developer. I have developed one Coin all on my own and assisted other developers on probably half a dozen coins and all of them are still running with a market cap. I have been involved in BitCoin since 2011 and ran an early BitCoin Blog. I worked for nearly a year as a volunteer moderator for Jim at CryptoCoinTalk plus have volunteered virtually at the 'Association for Digital Currency' in Washington DC  for CEO Rick Shaddock where I still hold a chair on the Board of Directors.

I have been privileged to be able to work on a few occasions with 'I Got Spots'. A lot of the valuable methods I use during development I have learned from him. I have never seen anything that I would consider nefarious in his regards, otherwise I would have nothing to do with him. My experiences and observations in a learned environment have been text book working with him. Now I am not saying that he does not have his faults. I learned over time to not introduce him to my friends because he lasts about 5 minutes then eats them for lunch. I have never seen anyone piss someone off as fast as he does. However its always over their opinion and not based on the facts which is all that he knows through experience.

'I Got Spots' is undeniably one of our top developers. Now please do not think I am driving his ambulance because I am not. When I was invited onto IRC during the development stages of that special staking similar to PeerCoin, the people that were there assisting in that development were some of the people that pioneered this CryptoCurrency Revolution. I will not name names but honestly I was very impressed by who they were. Four years in BitCoin never got me that close to those developers but sure as heck being a guest invite from 'I Got Spots' did.

Please do not FUD me. If you want to contact me send me a PM and I will do my best to get back to you ASAP and assist you or verify my claims above to be true. I prefer to keep a low profile and primarily only engage in Crypto activity as a volunteer and researcher.

This is all well and good, but the facts remain.

The timestamp on your original post on BCT since spots was banned:

November 01, 2014, 07:52:13 AM

From the Snowballs ANN:

"Staking starts November 2nd at 12:00:00 GMT"

So for AT LEAST one of the three POW days, Spotty McBalls here had the network all to himself. He pre-mined an estimated 250,000 to 300,000 BALLS out of 1 million. (probably more)  ::)

I am a 5+ POD Rated developer.
Please don't throw your poor attempt at e-penis here. I released one of the first altcoins, not number 550. Most people here don't need pod as the where amongst the original crypto devs. I don't need no proof of dev shit, my dev is written in crypto history not proving my identity to a stranger. Secondly obviously the 5 star pod means shit as your shit arse needed to hard fork the coin almost instantly.

'I Got Spots' is undeniably one of our top developers.
Your confused. A developer for crypto develops code, you confusing him for what is called a cheerleader. Spots knowledge of code is limited and selective and continuously through these forums has proven his knowledge is limited and novice at best.

If you wanted to embarrass yourself just post a naked pick instead of looking like a lying dickhead.

Now you can move on to whatever else you might feel competes with what you might be into.

I think the title is still VERY misleading and unfair..

And the context of the bag holder kvgear is a critical part off this story too !

I can't say much compared to HYP coin at least what Spots did was far more honest and legit than what they did.
And "premine scam" ?

I don't think anyone cares about this topic because they can see it's not..
And the only people who seem to care are HYP bag holders *jealous now
and guys who have a Hate on for iGotSpots..

And i have always fought with Spots but i would always give him his props if they are due and i think this topic is unfair and pretty much dishonest
If you have some proof of a REAL "premine Scam" then go for it light his ass up and let's see it.
So far i have heard nothing..

Just putting this on the newest page so it doesn't seem like I haven't responded

New piggy coin? balls? diem? dash? burst? hyp? Maticulious or whatever the fuck its called?  i could probably go on but we will get the same old the coin changed hands and they have nothing to do with them. the common trait with coins, they are worthless..

7 coins that WE KNOW OF, in only few months of time. And ball is 8. 8+ crytpocoins! igotspoets pump team has no shame!

Why scammer can't answer to this?

Let's look at spots history of shitcoins.

All coins were privately instamined and have been proven to be so.

Copperbars- Not updated for over 1 year https://github.com/copperbars/copperbars
Lottery Tickets- Not updated for over a year. https://github.com/LotteryTickets/LotteryTickets
Spots- Not updated for over a year.
"insert shady year of failed launches under alt accounts"
Maticulious or whatever the fuck its called- Launched under alt name, tried to reclaim with Igotspots name fail.
Balls.- About to be less than worthless.

You would be pretty fucking stupid to go near this guy and his "work".

When BALLS were launched Dev repeated something over and over 1,000 times.

Buy the BALLS and "just stake them". Just f*cking stake them.

Every single person that followed that advice made money... I made money, lots of people made money.

But there was a time to sell...
And I'm out because I ONLY trade coins with "coin control"...
Maybe I'll look at M and BALLS again when they have quality "coin control" information.

Thankyou for once again proving your lack of knowledge.

Instamine can be fixed, post launch to start with a higher diff. There is zero need to checkpoint a fair launch coin prior to launch.

Once again instead of a fair launch without any blocks is very easy and well within your knowledge base and skill set. The fact you checkpointed the chain is a 100% clear indication that you didn't want your instamined blocks lost to a bigger and longer chain. There is no other justification other than to secure your instamine.

Argue and post all the bullshit you want but checkpointing on a fair launch is not two words you can use together. Fair launch would go to the longest chain, not your instamined checkpointed chain.

Just putting this on the newest page so it doesn't seem like I haven't responded

Is that why your coins fork on accident and none of mine have forked, broken, or folded to an attack?

There was over 800 Terahash mining BALLS with several blocks per second and no forks. I launched it perfectly

Maieuticoin 1.0.3

Many changes in this client; too many, in fact, to list in separate lines. We basically took another coin, adapted everything into Maieuticoin, then did some GUI upgrades of our own. You will require reindexing the first time you open this client. This will automatically begin when it is run for the first time. Do not be alarmed. Your balance will change during reindexing, and may start at 0. It will return to where it is supposed to be by the time the reindexing has completed. Reindexing could be slow, but it is worth it to ensure that all blocks are valid

  • Coin control has been added
  • Graph added to QT Interface
  • Many performance enhancements
  • Smoother transition through old blocks
  • Network data handled more efficiently

since updating to 1.03 getting 90% orphans from my stake  :o

Everytime when I want to update blockchain wallet says

"Assertion failed"
kernel error
blah blah.

Solutions......

I'm seeing 5-6 orphans per valid stake also (since upgrading).

Looks like M-coin trading is disabled on Bittrex.

Sorry about this. I updated the checkpoint server to the newest version, which has since been reverted back to 1.0.2, the same version exchanges, multipool, and the Snowball are running on for a more lightweight client. The fault is completely mine. Thankfully it does not affect balances or anything like that

Wasn't a fork; it was a bad checkpoint from a shitty version of coin control, which was fixed within an hour. Coin wasn't broken at all, just halted trading as a warning. Coin worked just fine through a bad checkpoint, just triggered exchange flags. Nice example, though. Incoming personal insults in 3, 2, 1.........

Checkpoints and coin control have absolutely nothing to do with each other to start of breaking down the lies, we call this lie number 1. Coins dont work just fine through a bad checkpoint the chains stalls, no if or buts its stalls. Lie number 2.

What possible exchange flags could a bad checkpoint alarm other than to stall the chain, which according to you the coin just worked fine though, lie number 3.

Im sorry but you clear and serious lack of knowledge if farking embarrassing. You seriously have no idea.

i am heavily invested in balls and m and watched this from day one. m with coin control was whacky and the checkpoint server checkpointed an orphan which made him take coin control out, i remember this situation and just double checked the thread to make sure. doing basic research isnt hard or are you too busy with spottys balls down your throat to see past his taint? -4 rep vs +2 trust, i take the persons side who has been honest and not fucked people over with premines and scams since he cant get fucked for real. are you really that lonely that you need to pick on someone who is doing good, honest work to get some attention?

Look at git. ScamSpots just COPY AND PASTE whole other coins, then say "I add upgrade". Spotty DOES NOT KNOW CODIGN, just know scamming only. You dumbshits surprise when COPY AND PASTE NOT WORK?

Is that why your coins fork on accident and none of mine have forked, broken, or folded to an attack?

More Lie from scamguy... fork not long ago, and admits to his own faults

He got banned for blatant lying, misleading, untruthful and scammy behaviour. What do you expect.

He posted too many times his lack of knowledge of what the fuck he is doing. Shame really that the community has caught him out and some what bought him to justice. I expect to see more bans on his main and shrill accounts.

And what is the problem with that, seems like they were banned last time they released a new update as well. I think it is fair if the owner gets the interest rather then the exchange who been collecting off us this whole time.

The decent exchanges don't stake their coin wallets. If the owner can't get the stake while on the exchange, why in the fuck should the coin dev get them?

As for the update, my guess is he was trying to sneak this code in without telling anyone
