Hi Wisnon, we have a good amount of plans but we want to get core functionality rolled out first.  This meant getting the logo done, then skinning the block explorer and so forth.  Then we have to decide if faucets and paper wallets should be done in-house, or bountied out.  Some of our plans are held up by lack of an exchange, as in, we want to build a multipool that pays in 2015 coin but until we're on C-Cex or somewhere else, we're not willing to commit to that.  Doing something like this also involves upfront capital, server fees and so forth, and everyone on the team dislikes IPO's and premines, so we'd have to invest a couple BTC to make it happen.  If there's interest, sure we'll do it, but none of us are rich.

There are plenty of things we 'could' do that have been popular in the past, like Anon sends and so forth, but I believe that stuff was more hype than substance.  I also believe DarkCoin open sourced their anon project? (I could be wrong here) so there would be no point building a network layer.  

What I like about Crypto is the speed of innovation you see, and I get equally irritated by clone coins with no purpose.  We're deciding internally what 'unique' features we'd like to develop, and will release a roadmap accordingly.

One of the issues I see coins run in to is they have incredible development talent and no one cares, the thread is dead.  This isn't due to lack of marketing etc, it's because they people move on so fast in crypto to the next big thing if the exchange volume doesn't stay high.  Whales and investors can be a double edged sword, it would be cool if a rich developer wanted to join our team!

Either way, I think getting the word out is as important as an exchange right now.  If you'd like to help with that, you could tweet and link to us in your signature, we have 30k coins to work with in the development fund.  Thanks to the two people who sent that by the way, PM me so I can thank you personally.

I hope this vague response on Christmas Eve is good enough for now, but it will be interesting in the months to come to see how things play out.  I hope to be able to quote myself in 3 months without having too many contradictions!

The username and password was just because because it wanted it. You can feel free to change it by getting a cat and rolling it around on your keyboard. Sometimes the wallets don't like the simple ones. You also will have no need to remember it anyway. Hope that helps

My most logical guess would be stake. Coins mature within 4 hours and chances are enough blocks staked to make a difference.

The exchange is a working demo of a product we will charge people to set up and service.  We're still deciding whether to operate a fully functional exchange ourselves, we'll see if we get many orders from customers.  We will charge in 2015 Coins if anyone is interested, and that should put some positive upwards pressure on the market.  Running a full time exchange requires a lot of time and effort, and may take time away from future developments.  When we sell a support contract for an exchange, we will make sure the customer has a capable IT staff we can train so we're not devoting all of our time to customers when we should be developing the coin.

The multipool we will operate, but if any other coins would like a multipool of their own, we will sell it to them for 2015 coins.  This should put upwards pressure on the market because we will be paying out miners in 2015 Coins, and if we sell a multipool, that will also help the price.

The E-Commerce web store is going to be a pre-fabricated web store, that comes with a payment platform that can be configured to accept payments in any altcoin.  This means if another coin wants a web store, they can purchase this from us with 2015 coins.  We will most likely not run one of these businesses unless it's strictly e-delivery items and hands off.  

Our vision here is for the developers to make money charging for support of our products, while creating volume on the market for traders and miners.  

We plan on paying a 10% commission in 2015 Coins to anyone who generates a lead which results in a sale of our assets.  If someone approaches us wanting custom development, we will want to be paid in 2015 Coins.

I tried not to give a vague response, but let me know if you need more information.  We plan to put this all into a business plan sometime this week.

EDIT: Like my pool, it's based from MPOS, pretty much like every other pool, only difference is some of us had some mods made to it, but it's nothing original, you won't really get software developed from scratch in weeks and much less without cash.

Thanks for bringing this up, it's nice to get recognition for development.  The issue these days is that no one cares about development they focus completely on the price, you have people asking you for updates 2 posts after a major release, or asking you how the exchange is coming after you launch it.  I don't typically discuss the price, in fact I only check it maybe 2-3 times a day, but there were a few overly excited folks from c-cex who managed to get the price up to about 1000 satoshi and then appears to have taken profit on their 400~ satoshi purchases.  I don't have any issues with that, nor could I stop it if I did.  There was a twitter user that was really pushing our coin the other day, I believe he's running a bot on the market, you'll see how obvious this is if you watch for 5 minutes.  Someone is also dumping on the news every major update, which is to be expected lately.

If you look at our press release, you'll see we have an investor, and yes he is a whale.  When we were going into this, we didn't want to get used as a pump and dump crew.  We made it very clear to him from the beginning that this would be a quality coin, and not a project where the team has all the coins and is just waiting to dump as soon as enough buy support appears.

I think if you're a crypto investor, the golden rule is to never go all in, and always talk about the coins you bought.  The price of your altcoin can fluctuate massively based on BTC's price, whales, fud, hype, development, and so forth - some of these items are completely unpredictable and out of your control.  

Anyways, we know we're running a few hours late on the multipool, but we seem to be the only ones who noticed.  We're working on it, and there should be some press talking about us soon.  

The development is great. No empty promises, thumb up for that.

Quick question for you guys, we're configuring the multipool, should the BTC gathered from dumping other coins be used to buy upwards into the price or set up buy support?  None of us can agree which is better, I personally think it should buy upwards.

We looked at that, it's kind of a pain to configure and unless the buy order is filled you only pay out half what you owe the miners within a 24 hour period.  Someone might (will) completely overreact when doing the math on their payouts, I think we're just going to buy upwards.

We're just waiting for the DNS to propogate for the multipool, and we're downloading blockchains for the daemons installed.  It's going to be Scrypt+X11+SHA256 and we should be able to get this out within hours.

I downloaded it 2 -3 times and nothing . Ive not had that happen before . Usually when I download the wallet it syncs up just fine , but for some reason or another it won't connect . Make sure the twenty15.conf isn't actually twenty15.conf.txt I did that once a couple years back, it's an easy mistake.  I'll talk to the dev who did the wallet and see why this is happening to some people.  We tested this on 4 computers and all of them automatically connected no problem.  I just got home so I'll point my 35mh/s x11 to the multipool now.  Please make sure you're deleting everything except your wallet.dat file in the %appdata% twenty15 directory.

We're working on getting the e-commerce store out, but because we were 1 day late on the exchange, and about 3 days late on the multipool, we're giving ourselves until the 1st.  This next piece of functionality is a lot of custom development.

Yeah that will be fine, you'll only be paid once every 24 hours or so.  The reason exchanges tell you not to mine directly to your deposit address is because back in the old days when people used p2pools, it did something funny when it paid you.  I'm not sure exactly what, but I can ask the guy on our team who made the coin and wallet.  The other reason is so you don't spam lots of deposits into the system.  The multipool will be doing neither of this, so you'll be fine.

The exchange we showcased is a configured wlox open source exchange that we are offering to set up and support for others.  We had to spend a lot of time figuring out how the backend worked, which is why they take so long to deploy.

It's an e-commerce web store with an altcoin payment platform.  This will allow any coin project to take payments in their currency, we will be selling this feature if anyone wants it.  We're going to be late on this one, it looks like it will be out around the 1st.  We just released a multipool a few days ago.

We could, but development would basically halt to a standstill on other projects.  We're thinking about it though.

That's just it, we could be 'that exchange coin' but things would get really stale.  Maybe once we get a bunch of stuff out the door, and we run out of steam for a while we can look back at stuff we've done and maybe add a few pairs on the exchange.  We'd never go full bittrex or cryptsy level, maintaining all those daemons on multiple servers, it's a full time job, but would be good for someone who is excited to run their own crypto business. 

It's hard keeping up this level of work, and it would be catastrophic to take a break and tell people on this forum nothing is going on, so we're just trying to get more stuff out the door.  I'll admit we did underestimate some of the work, and you saw us miss a couple deadlines, so we're being a bit conservative now with our promises. 

Fair enough. You guys seem to be one of the most active and transparent team which is hard to come by these days. Have you considered adding anon/tor to the xchange and webstore? 2015Dark?  ;D

We've built anon systems before, but it's not something that's easy to sell and the price tag would be high.  We would need to have a client lined up for this work, and they would never want this to be re-sold after they purchased it.  I have some fairly decent ideas for development moving forward, but I think it's best to get our payment platform out the door first before promising future work.

I hope things really start to pick up need some pumping on cex its been dead there and trex is up and down I honestly cant see right now why 1k isn't floor on this coin when so many shit coins sit there all the time and one with hard working people is floating so low if I could do more I would. and im still waiting on my asics to get here...this needs a 1k floor for people to really take it seriously I think or its just like pimp which has a lot of work behind it and no one buying....I really hope things turn around as this is one of the best ones out there right now ... ;D

Just wanted to chime in here, the e-commerce webstore is being worked on.  It will feature a few fake products that you can purchase with 1 coin, and it will e-mail you a receipt.  This payment processor can be used to accept any altcoin, it just requires that the daemon be installed and a frontend configured.  Once this is released we'll start work on the next item, which is a gambling platform.

I am not having any luck mining with a Gridseed using BFGminer.  Is there a good tutorial around?  I cannot get BFGminer to recognize my device.  My wallet is doing fine, but not my Gridseed.

Dev, any interests on the developments - webshop and xchange? I think this is part of the reason why price is stalling as developments are seen to be "for sale" instead of channeling back into the coin. If you are to put up a webshop and/or xchange that allow real transactions then I believe people will invest more.. Just my thoughts

Just wanted to say we're almost ready to launch the payment processor and web store.  The frontend is complete, we're just getting the payment processor installed.  The developer working on this is putting about 5 hours a day and says we're about 2-3 days from a beta release.  Apologies for not making an appearance earlier today, but we're just planning out how we will develop the next item on the list.

I just wanted to say, this next piece we're about to showcase is really useful.  Any altcoin will be able to implement their own payment gateway, allowing them to receive payments in their own currency.

If anyone here knows of other projects that want their own web store that takes their coins, get them in touch with us, you'll get 10% of the commission for the sale.  The minimum cost for this will be 3.5btc (or 750 Euro equivalent) in 2015 coins to get a basic store like the one we will release.  If additional functionality is required, it will cost more, but we can handle the selling just make sure you have your name on the invoice.

The same goes for the Multipool and the Exchange, we can set up and support these items for a fee.  The payment gateway we have developed and own completely, so that we can outright sell.  Drop a line if you'd like to know the price for these.  

Thank you all for your support and kind words, it's nice to see people urging us to get stuff out.  One thing I did want to mention, this is pretty fast development, and we didn't have ICO funds or premine to back this up.  At the current market price for 2015 Coin, we're not sitting on a large market cap.  Our goal here is to make sales, that's how we will pay for future development.  We hope to have a healthy volume once people see the value in this project, and be able to offer 2015 coins to people wishing to develop items they plan on selling.  Eventually we will be able to pay decent bounties, and keep some for ourselves, making this more like a business than your standard dump and disappear coin like we're all tired of.

A bit curious about your multipool payouts.  I saw only one mention of it, where you state it pays once per day.  I shifted some of my sha256 power to the pool almost 48 hours ago and mined (terracoin) for 24 straight hours.  No payout yet.

Apologies for being absent the last day, I've been trying to sell some of these items, especially the web shop.  We may just bootstrap this next week and offer pre-packaged shops in the coin of your choice, we just haven't decided on the price yet.  The developer who made this is skiing right now.  The developer who made the multipool is moving, and I have to be AFK for about 18 hours.  I will leave our investor in charge for a day and resolve any questions when I'm back.  

I will make a document explaining the webshop and why people should take a serious look at it, should be done next week.

We could probably do one of those darkweb marketplaces, like provide a base working model and just not operate it, but I don't think there would be anyone who would want to purchase it from us.  Another thing we have been tossing around is building a trading bot for whales/pump groups.  We have built those before for pumpers, and they're actually in high demand, but you need to buy them custom.  The last one I know of that got sold was for 5btc, and we get asked all the time to build them.

With this said, we might deviate from the roadmap a bit, we're simply not meeting our timelines and the stuff we are releasing isn't exciting anyone.  This webshop is actually cool, the problem is that no one reads or researches anything.  I could release a document saying Bill Gates plans to pump this to 5btc a coin in the middle of an update and no one would mention a thing.  I'm not certain how to combat this issue, other than offering the 10% commission to anyone who generates leads for us that turn into sales.

Just throwing ideas out there.

There are a number of barriers as I see it:

1. With the webshop and/or exchange: Many people here are day traders and/or overnight flyers looking for quick gains. They will not put the money in as it requires too much upfront as well as ongoing commitment. There are too many altcoins out there with developers who are capable of creating these items hence no interest. Those who are interested are either too afraid of losing control (don't have the technical know how or not willing to rely on you guys 100%).

2. As much as you would like to sell these projects and move one to the next, the reality is some investors may fail to see how these will benefit the coin itself. you need to simplify and link it better. From the investor's perspective, the development team will benefit from te sales - (be it in 2015 or btc). How will the sale of the assets benefit the coin unless there is a transparent way to assure investors that the fund will flow straight back into the exchange thus appreciating the coin value.

3. The trading bot will definitely work. Atm it can only be custom built BUT if you guys can figure out a way to allow the normal mum & dad investors to operate it with minimal fuss, more flexibility as well as cheap, you will definitely have a hot item there.

4. The crypto world is still fairly small and there are only so many investors at any given time. We are becoming obsolete with all these scams going on around us. There needs to be something more. We need to reach out to the wider market. Bitcoin has done this and is still doing it. We've started off by wanting to be better than Bitcoin but ended up succumbing to the greed, scams and the petty stuff - ultimately losing sight of why we've started altcoin in the first place.

5. China for example is a big market. Find a way(vehicle) to facilitate the transfer of $$ out of the country using crypto technology without compromising the sender then you will open a flood gate  ;D

How much are you selling it and what support, security and maintenance you guys provide as on going in case of issue? Also, what server config are required to ensure 100% security etc? Can the exchange be amended to use annon features (eg. tor) and allows users to VPN ANd Tor that will ensure privacy etc.. (i'm thinking of China etc.. ;D)

2. If the trading bot can be developed based on the point 3 above. how much are you selling it for? what licensing system will you put in place eg. ownership, reselling rights etc..

3.can you develope a money exchange/transfer platform (perhaps using coinbase and/or bitstamp api) that allows user to remit $$ from say Australia and/or USA to third world country? What are the requirements needed eg. bank account at receiving end etc to enable this platform? also, cost and support? I am thinking outside the 2015 coin?

What are your team financial position, direction and business plan? Are you open to PROPER funding and share holding etc..

OK I would like to answer these questions in full and i will, but I like the positive reaction to the pump group bot.  I think it's safe to say we will deviate from the official roadmap, I'll probably just update it or scrap it and make a new one.

We will begin working on this pump bot probably this week.  We have built these for whales in the past, so it probably wouldn't be right to just build on top of that, they did pay us for it and they own it.  The good news is we know some of the features they look for, but I think it might be best to target those pump groups in general, and make a bot where everyone in the group funds the bot and it assigns shares based on how much you put in.  This way when the pump coordinator exits, he/she knows how much BTC is owed to each member.  This is quite the undertaking and we can't take it lightly, if this kind of software has errors and there is lots of money involved, that's how the drama starts.

Thats a good start. you will need to find a way to overcome the "trust" issue. A lot of investors are paranoid atm. one way to do this is to find a "pump co-ordinator" that is willing to escrow some of his own fund upfront as a security while the investors fund is being played with.. just a thought. you may have better ideas

There is definitely trust issues in pump groups, sometimes they dump on each other, other times they just leak info.  It's just common stuff, but maybe this project would be best if there was just a basic 'single user' pump/accumulation/volume faking bot and another fully featured one for groups.  We have to discuss this internally.  I think the amount of pumpers and groups are shrinking, this ANN is proof that a lot of people have left crypto in the last few months.  Had a project like this launched 9 months ago, it would be full of cheerleaders and fudders and other stuff like that.  So far there has mostly been constructive discussion, which is kind of weird for this forum lol

Here are some more thoughts and questions:

At the moment, anon seems to be to the hype. We get many coins claiming to have these. Some of us throw BTCs into these hoping to strike it rich if/when the mass uptake happens. We all know that 99% of these coins ended up in the gutter. What has been lost here (although whilst new ideas/developments are being presented/developed) is the concept of Trust and Usability. For the mass to even look at this, we need to run this with full transparency. Take a look at all the JVs/Startups around you, they are successful because investors know where their $$ go. Yes, yes, I can hear you screaming out: "what about decentralization? We will compromise this if Government get a hold on it!". It is important to not confuse "decentralization" with "transparency and privacy". Decentralisation can still happen via the blockchain itself and No one government will be able to control it. For us to entice the mass out there we we to conform to certain norms that are currently and deeply rooted in our society, and see if we can use that to our advantage. The philosophy behind bitcoin is its blockchain and its ability to "centralise" the many different currencies that currently exist globally. We can only move forward with more surety only when we rise above this "Government vs Us" mentality.

You've mentioned in the OP that you would like ti run this as a business model. My questions to you are:

1. Are you willing to disclose your team identities, skills and financial position?
2. Are you willing to come up with a new business plan and open to external JVs and shareholding?

It's fine, the ANN is huge, I need to spend some time tidying it up.  I find that most people just glance over the ANN and read the last post, so I try to put all the major updates in there.

You should just remove the huge ass graphics.  If it wasn't for them everything would be fairly readable.

The thing is, no one is going to troll through 20 pages of posts to figure out what we're up to.  They look at the OP and the last post, those giant graphics have to be there even if they make things clunky.  This is the google age, we all have 20 second attention spans and we want instant answers to our questions. 

I hear you but I think it looks like trash with those big pictures in the middle of everything.  It would make more sense to give people a summary of everything in the OP and allow them to follow links to the graphics and details.  For example with the webshop in the OP you could just put:

I agree it looks silly, but trust me when I say no one is going to click on stuff - ever.  We can see in the apache logs just how few people check stuff out, if you don't have those pictures there no one will see it at all.

Now 16 days since I pointed my miner to the multipool for a full day - you know, that multipool that the dev says pays out once daily.  And it's now 14 days since I asked about the payout and was told the payouts would be run.  And STILL NO PAYOUT.

I'm beginning the process of clearing out my wallet (which stakes nicely, btw) and moving the coins I've been buying back to the exchanges to get rid of them.

If the dev is going to use the multipool to scam people, I want no part of anything to do with this coin and I'll be adding it to the threads on the various forums that track such scams.

Then when the decision was made that they were going to stop mining payouts during this reassessment, the pool should have been shut off.  To keep it running and keep taking people's hashing power after apparently deciding that they were going to stop making payouts is simply not acceptable.  Sorry to put it that way, but that's just how I see it.  And I think it's a shame because otherwise I was really impressed, but in the end an entire chain is only as strong as its single weakest link.

I'm not talking about any kind of a permanent decision.  The dev posted in this thread that pool payouts are made daily.  After receiving no payout for mining more than two weeks ago, I posted about it and was told by the dev that he didn't notice that anyone had been mining SHA so he hadn't run the payouts for it - and that he would run them.  That was two weeks ago, but there has still been no payout.  Clearly, despite saying the payouts would be run, he then decided not to run them.  In the meantime, another user asked about the payouts also - and that user was just ignored and got no response at all.  The pool is still up and accepting miners, yet the dev obviously knows that he's not running the payouts.  That's where I have a problem with it.  He knows he's not running the payouts, yet he still has the pool up.  He should have shut the pool down the very minute he decided (this is the decision I'm talking about) that he couldn't be bothered to run the payouts - otherwise he's just scamming people.

@Dev: you should respond so we put this behind us...

If that is true he might want to take the minute it would take to address his failure to pay his multipool miners.  This really shouldn't be ignored because if he doesn't pay out, which he said he would do but has not, he is simply stealing peoples hashing power.

Don't think this is another one. Dev seems to be upfront up until now. Admittedly communication re progress/direction is the key to the coins well being as well. He has been struggling with that a fair bit.. coin has a lot of potential especially the "trading bot" concept which may kickstart the business model the team had originally envisioned... time will tell.

I sure hope so, otherwise i've been signing all my forms wrong!

Logic would lead you to think so. Of the conversations I've had with the Dev to date, he seems genuine and knows what he is doing. I'm guessing that it sorted of dampen their outlook and biz model a bit when there weren't much interest in the shop and xchange..

The trading bot however is a winner if they agree to go ahead with it. Also, I've got some ideas on how to turn the shop idea around to increase mass adoption. I can't do that if the 2015 team is still licking their wounds.. good biz model doesn't happen overnight. You get straight back up after the fall and move forward..

With all due respects, you are the second person from the development team that has even frickn bothered to keep us in the loop. I am an investor and I do want to see the success of this coin. This forum is the only medium that allows us to keep track of the developments. How do you expect people to know where things are when you do not keep us in the loop? There are scams going on currently. .people (me included) are getting paranoid. . As a team with business model in place, you should understand investors concerns. .All that's being asked here is updates and communication.

Ozboy are you a short term or long term investor?

I only have a small stake in the coin and is usually in for a long term. That however is not an indication that the coin is here to stay. This is crypto. it is still pretty much a wild wild west here.. You will need to to do your own research and make up your own judgement on it.

with the development team however - all indications to date are that they are the real deal. They may hit a couple of barriers in regards to the uptake but that is because updates and communication are not there. Other coins who have less capabilities/functionalities do quite well and that is because the development team is opened to suggestions and keep the investors/customers up to date on progress..

I am honestly shocked that you are now so surprised.  This was a straight up and down prometheus formula dump coin from literally the first post.  People recognized that and then hoped that it will get a nice pump like HAL or UTIL, but that was the trick.  Once enough people recognized the formula they could sell an almost unlimited supply of coins that they mined for <30 sat a piece on you at any price it is still profit.  Even if they can only scrape 50 dollars a week out of this type of market multiply that by the dozen or so coins made by the exact same group and you can see why they don't even need to pump, just as long as people know that they are capable of it that is enough to sell the coins. 

I mine and dump this kind of crap too don't get me wrong on that but your months of cheering on this garbage and now acting surprised it is dead leave me thinking you are all either incredibly kind gullible people who really did not see all the tell tale signs of a scam coin even while they were pointed out to you... OR... you are all in on it.
