Title: I predicted it, SO now what do you do?
Post by: cyberpinoy on January 14, 2015, 02:07:32 PM
Back in september I said Bitcins price would fall to under 300 bucks by december, then under 200 in january and I said it may not stop until it hits under 100. They said I was a sore loosing investor, yet I did not purchase my biutcoins I earn them the real way. They said I was FUD yet I explained bitcoin has no demand, they said I was just another non believer who doesn't understand bitcoin.

SO for the people out there who are panic selling, what do you do. Are you so stupid you are taking a loss on this little ride down south. Bitcointalk is full of people who do not help each other. For a business community Bitcoin talk is the most toxic, unhelpful place for bitcoin talk there is. There are clicks, there are clans, there are puppets and minimal followers. But to help anyone outside a click or a clan, Just wont happen.  I thought I would be the one person in this community who has real sense and knowledge to help you where the others just hope you keep selling and selling so they can profit from your mistakes.

Lets start form the top. First, every single person you see here who says "I am buying your cheap coins" They are lieing, they aren't buying anything. If they were the price would not continue to plummet downward, so use your brain, know when to call ones bluff. What they are doing is, they are waiting, they are hoping all of you panic ( AND YOU ARE) and sell sell sell. They want you to keep selling. SO when nit hits the absolute lowest low it can they will buy then. And trust me its not at its lowest possible yet.

SO in times like these what do you do.

Its very simple, If you are so willing to take a loss on your investment, get smart take a real risk. Start trading them for a profit. Now is not the time, wait 5 to 7 days, watch the coins see what coins hold their value against the bitcoin losses but go up and down in prices all day every day, Look back at the charts and see what those coins did during all the other bi weekly bitcoin dumps for the past 8 months. the coins you see that are holding their value against Bitcoin write them all down. Pick a good one from the list that is popular, and has a nice daily movement, invest in that coin. Buy it on a low note and sell it on a high note. try to earn coins with your coins.

Selling at a loss is never the answer. And for those of you who listened to the idiots in here (as I looked back in the threads) and bought at the wrong times. I am sorry. But you are not truly hurting until you sell your coins for a true loss. Dont follow the rick idiots, be smarter than them. use their game against them. Get out of bitcoins for a while. Cool your jets, let a few things unfold. But at the same time, earn some coins with your coins. Hell with enough BTC you cna make a pretty penny just on the daily move of RDD. it always is going up adn down 1 to 3 satoshi. Altho that is not a huge move, When teh coin only costs 10 satoshi, buying RDD with 1 or 2 or 5 BTC gives you an awful lot of RDD. 1 BTC would be 10,000,000 RDD if you buy them at 0.00000010 and sell them at 0.00000011. You will ahve made 0.1 BTC on yout 1 BTC investment.

There are a few coins like this, you do not need to pick RDD. but that is what to look for. Try usng your BTC and earn some on the losses. If you can earn in a day what the market looses your not at a loss anymore are you :)

People are not buying dont lie. I will call your bluff I have no problem calling anyone out if they are so stupid to believe there are a bunch of people buying. READ THE POST. if people were buying the price would not be falling so rapidly.

Bitcoins value is based on one thing and one thing only. It has no DEMAND, it has nothing going for it, its value rests in its tradable market ONLY!! Pure and simple, If people buy buy buy, price goes up, if people sell sell sell it goes down. if a lot of people sell and a few people buy the price declines VERY VERY Slowly. Thats crypto currency 101, take notes and learn it well.

Thats right welcome to the party :)

Hehe. Some people say bitcoins will fall. some say they will rise. some say they will do both. Always going to be one party that is right. Maybe it will fall more maybe it will quickly regain. Who knows. Let's wait and see.

Here it is, your tending to be bearish everytime you post, exchanges are pushing the price down its not rocket science they are simply milking the market, at some stage one of them will go belly up in the squeeze

""God I hope its not bitcoins, Unless Apple decides the only way to buy their new product is by using bitcoins we will have the bi-weekly "Dell Dump" all over again. This will push the value of BTC down in the 200 area by the end of the year if nothing else happens to push it back up.""

I am certainly buying, but today I ran out of the fiat that I had on several exchanges.

No more buying for me at this point. Especially when the low Euro value is making it not interesting to convert my EUR into USD.

But what I see are traders who are short selling the coins  that caused the other group of trader are buying on margins to hit their stop losses. We haven't discounted the fact that all these could be the result of margin trading.

Fact is i don't  think the drop is due to panic selling. People that i know who are into bitcoin that bought in the 500 range are still holding. Why sell for a loss?

Dollar is increasing in value as bitcoin lowers, the trend is temporary and will reverse itself when the dollar starts shitting the bed. Sooner or later.

With bitcoin sitting at 200 usd, this is an obvious time to buy.

People are not buying dont lie.

i bought two bitcoins and converted to monero.  no clue if fungability, anonymity & no block size limit will matter on price shortterm but the bitcoin price sure made it cheap.

If we go to $50 I'll live.  but just 'cuz you're too much of a pussy to buy doesn't mean no one is.  just that buyers are running the show - not sellers.   :D

I'am personally not doing anything , I'am not an early adopter so I never had a lot of bitcoins in my wallet . I started selling my Bitcoin when it was around 300-350$ (and I got it from selling digital goods on that price too) .
so what I'am going to do now is just wait till it drop down more & more , and then buy and hold for sure this time ;D let's hope It will rise badly when the next halving block reward happens

The only reason it's tanking is because a bunch of Russians are freaked out and trying to cash out before Putin gives it the death penalty in Russia or something ridiculous.  Just hold and load up on some panic sold coins.

People are not buying dont lie.

You do understand you can't sell unless someone is buying, right? Every trade needs both a buyer and a seller? Hence, people are buying...

My honest opinion, I think Bitcoin will; eventually rise. Will it hit 1000 again, maybe. If this new COIN on the nasdaq plays its game correctly, and the Winklevoss Brotyhers have any pull in the wall street game, they could very potentially bring a lot of investors to the market. Bitcoin no longer needs awareness, that stage of the game was over 3 years ago, Adoption is happening that stage is thru now, it needs leaders, leaders like Winklevoss Brothers. people who have the power to make things happen. They are in a position to make High dollar investors get interested and begin spending cash on Bitcvoins. For every Share of thier company people buy it represents a portions of abitcoins. If they set it up right, they are good to go.

What I find very interesting and can not figure out. Is this a move of normalcy for bitcoin, or do investors hoping for that company to be a reality helping this dive. Think about this. they are throwing a company backed by bitcoin on the market where each share of the company is represented by bitcoins. if this were true then lets say 1 share was worth 1 BTC, 2 weeks ago that was a share of a company that was worth 300 bucks. How many companies in nasdaq have shares on the market worth 300 Bucks. Microsoft shares are uaully arounf 50 bucks so whats that tell you. It tells me if people want a part of this new COIN they must either risk a whole lot in hopes for an increase OR buy portions of shares (just liek us) and build up to a whole share of the company.

It will either be another gold rush, or another failed dream. Lets hope for the gold rush.

I have little faith in the developers of Bitcoin as far as securing this coins value, they already made million and millions of dollars so I dont think they care about its value anymore. I mean if you are sitting on thousands of bitcoins in a wallet no matter what the value is you still have a lot of money. SO why worry about more, this is a normal routine of a poor person who got rich, the reason the rich keep getting richer is because they dont stop, the reason the poor stay poor is because enough is enough once they hit a certain point they just stop and enjoy. The devs now have stopped to enjoy.

To be honest I have a couple projects in mind, But finding the right investors is problematic for me. I dont trust people, and I dont want my ideas stolen. Both of the projects are untapped, meaning NO ONE is doing it in bitcoins right now. One of them would be a very fast money maker and could save a lot of people who are loosing value on thier bitcoins right now, the other project very well could help bitcoins value but also bring a lot of attention we do not want or need right now.

I dont share it with people on here because to be honest, I dont see or notice anyone really talking about wanting to secure Bitcoins value, I dont see anyone here really doing anything to secure thier investment. And I sure dont  want to be the only one doing all the work while the other person just sits back and collects off my work. SO like everyone else I will just wait, I will wait and put it together piece by piece  myself until the projects are completed.

You know I can understand all the bullshit we hear about bitcoins and "why" investors are not attracted to it, But you know what when it boils down it simply does not make sense. Altho bitcoin has no real demand to hold its value it has something no other market in the world has. The ability to control your own  investment. Can you buy  a share of Microsoft, then when it drops in value find something that You personally can do to help its value. No your investment sits in the hands of a board of directors. What about shares of dell, or facebook or any other company. If those shares begin to tumble do you have anything you personally can do to save or help your investment. NOPE again. However Bitcoins and other crypto, You , we as a community have the ability to control our investments. Without buying more we can change how the investment works. our problem is to many people are trading it in hopes of getting rich quick. Instead of people who really care about investment or their own money. We as investors have the ability to find ways that we can secure bitcoins value and its future, and for the past 2 + years NO ONE  (Except Winklevoss bros) is doing it. All these high dollar lip srvice wall street wannabees with no business sense at all, sitting and waiting like a bunch of fools. (Sorry to be blunt)  Bill gates did not get where he is Sitting on his ass did he? Rackefella Surely did not get where he is sitting on his ass, so what the hell makes you think Bitcoin is any different. Do you honestly believe sitting on our asses is gonna fget us anywhere, NO you will be right where you were last month or the month before or seven months ago, or even worse, you will not be right where you were, but in a less profitable position which is where we all are now compared to 7 months ago.

I seriously doubt he bought 10K in bitcoins, if he did he would have done like I said and posted the wallet address so we can see the proof. talk is cheap, lip service is even more useless. the proof is in the blockchain. :) And he provides only lip service. These guys saying they are "buying Bitcoins" are lying, the market is telling a different story.
Rteal investors who know the bitcoin market wont start buying until either bitcoins drops to about b50 bucks a coin, or after april.

Damn this shit is detailed, quite the story

When talking to a community of investors who act like 3 year olds getting a bag of candy, you have to be detailed. they cant understand a direct short approach, yuou must (like 3 year olds) tell them over and over and over, and in the bitcoin industry you must also add proof. :) I have done both here :)

what you do is sell all your bitcoin and buy physical gold.

you know, something that actually exists, and has a 6000 year track record?

and if you want to make the argument that gold is just a stupid shiny metal, fine, then buy platinum, which has mostly industrial uses.

And when I need to send them for some payment I just attach the gold on email and send it by internet.

And of course thieves won't be able to steal my gold because their private keys will be carved in some hidden place that no one would bother to check

bad counter argument.

if you need to pay for something in bitcoin

1) hold zero bitcoin
2) get verified on coinbase
3) instantly buy bitcoin and send to pay 1 minute later incurring no bitcoin risk

so again, why would anyone who is going to spend bitcoin actually hold bitcoin?

only one answer - speculative greed.
