Okay I have been running a club to mine on ck's solo pool https://blockchain.info/address/1CqbvmuJcLFDFzFewKmBVAaghXEtByzY9Y we get say 10 coins from 10 people and spend 10 btc to try to hit a block of 25 btc. Been doing it for under a month. So I forgot I must wait to cash out 100 confirms needed. I also realize I need a good payment system. Ideas for structure and design are welcome. Running the club as close to cost as possible is the desired goal. Having a structure that works is a second goal. certain limits are built in a 50 man chip in is not going to work. A limit of 10 per run is a natural limit. as you can see a 2 block hit would bring the player very close to 5 coins. I think we may do 0.515 btc x 10 = 5.15 btc a run. after fees we get just about 5 btc mining at current rates it is close to 1 day at 500th. I like the idea of : some fixed hash------------- premium price less hash some floating hash----------- lower price more hash some at west hash some a nice hash Maybe some from MRR , but my use of them has been none. With summer heat the idea of mining in house for a lot of us has become too hard to do. Also the idea of a decent amount of pay back .5 btc becomes 2.5 btc if you hit a block. I could do 2 or 3 runs per adjustment. I use Betarigs a lot as I'm also rent my miners there , but sometimes you can snag up some miners 10% cheaper than MRR. May be too complex to get everyone to agree to it. also a bit more work for me to keep track of. each round I ask for a top list volunteer to sit out. So Next round I am sitting out and mavericklm is sitting out. this allows 2 from the bottom list to get in. goal is 2 -4 volunteers for next round. I know I could just force 10 in 10 out don't want to. Don't want to have to go beyond simple volunteer system of 2-4 sitting out . Also if you want sit out 2 or 3 or 4 rounds in a row that is cool. 5 coin play = 5 to 1 a block 25 to 1 two blocks 125 to 1 three blocks 625 to 1 four blocks rough odds but possible. when we hit the two blocks on the re - set we spent .6btc out of the 5.5btc in the re-set. once the first 2 were hit we had 4.9 coins left and a 5 to 1 chance at the third block. seeing just under 50 coins in a wallet I controlled was nerve wracking. the idea that more good luck after could mean 3 or 4 blocks got me thinking a 100 coin hack would be painful to me. The most btc at full risk I ever had was 20 coins at 470 usd and ½ were in 2 separate wallets while the other ½ was in coinbase. For a while with just the group's 2 blocks I had 12000 usd up in the air and maybe 4000 usd in escrow and my own btc addy's. I am not sure 16,000 at risk is so good for me to do. I never want to be like the guy running BAN sorry guys I got hacked. I can see if I do this steady a 2 block run will happen a few times a year maybe 3 or 4 . This is a lot more work then I realized. I don't want to sit on a pc over and over. Rental began on Sat the 16th and ended Wed morning the 20th. Due to higher prices and a reset of the rentals that lead to the 2x block score. I have exchanged pm's with ck and he is onboard for now. Yeah! I would not do it without his approval. First rule is 10 players. Second rule is it is his (ck's) pool that we use so we respect him if he says no more club runs we end it. Third rule he will provide the addresses I point the rentals to thus we will have a secure btc address we will match his .5% fee so he gets 1% of the block and the block fees. (about .250 btc vs .125 btc) I will compile a list of the original 10 and the others that want to play. I will put it up in a few days. To use only 10 from the list will be done by asking the 2-4 of the current 10 to drop off thus allowing 2-4 from the waiting list. Don't send coins!!!! Also I have had 8 pages of pm's since May 15th that is 160 pm's 130 for this club most after the 2 block hit. Please be patient as I set the list up. He was pretty good at getting the gear to you. This is the easiest way I can figure how to do a safe payout. People don't realize how things can go wrong maverick has a privacy concern that I respect. I wish I could figure a better way, but he can make a new address and transfer once paid. I did not really see the security issue until I had the 49.9 coins in an online blockchain.info wallet. I used a really good password with many copies of it in my home. I was then fuck I owe 9 guys 4.9 btc and I have to just watch the wallet until I can cash and transfer coins out. Next rounds the coins will be secured by ck. and we will distribute them using the list. Much safer method. Gosh I just had flash back of me trying to sign a message to Canary for my 15 USB miners, only to find out I could not sign one with the wallet I had sent my 30 BTC from... :P Had to drive to Chicago and pick up in person :o yeah if was a safe method but what a p.i.t.a …… I remember canary was doing 20 000 stick orders. He was pretty good at getting the gear to you. This is the easiest way I can figure how to do a safe payout. People don't realize how things can go wrong maverick has a privacy concern that I respect. I wish I could figure a better way, but he can make a new address and transfer once paid. I did not really see the security issue until I had the 49.9 coins in an online blockchain.info wallet. I used a really good password with many copies of it in my home. I was then fuck I owe 9 guys 4.9 btc and I have to just watch the wallet until I can cash and transfer coins out. Next rounds the coins will be secured by ck. and we will distribute them using the list. Much safer method. Sounds like a good plan. I am organized better this time and will stay at ten players, but I feel for new guys and a few are on the second list so you know what that means set it all up well and secure. I think we do a few with ten see if the secure system is workable. Then I will be burnt out and want to stop. Frankly I never consider us doing a multiple block hit in under 3 hours with 22 hours left to mine. Once I realized that 4 blocks could happen and not crazy hard odds since 2 are under the belt. (25 to 1 for the next 2) I realized I owe 1100 usd to 9 different guys. And with luck it could possibly be 1650 or more. I did not mind owing the money if the money was in my bank , but it was in a btc wallet and I had to watch it until it confirmed. We attracted a ton of attention I got a lot of requests to join. Did not want to be mean to newbies. So the real world set in a bit while I waited for coins to clear.
