melbourne stars lost 5 wickets, and now they need 39 in 12 balls, i think stars will lose this match, adelide striker batted well after 12 overs and had set a huge total of 187/5 and now stars are loosing wickets in chasing,  this 2 overs are very crucial as all hitters are out. now only faulker is their

so Adelaide Strikers have won the 2nd match by 19 runs, the partnership between brad hodge and ai ross have given them a big win against the melbourne stars who are having big hitters but today they were not able to bowl and bat properly.

3rd match i think melbourne renegades will win this match as they have good batsman hitter and bowlers. with good experience in t20 and the giant hitter gayle is also their in their team.

Big Bash League, 5th Match: Melbourne Stars v Sydney Thunder

Melbourne Stars won the toss and elected to field

they are right now in a good position

they are 44/1 in 5.3 overs with good run rate . if they go like this then i think above 170+ will be the target.

sydney thunder are 93/3 in 12 overs if this two players stay above 15 over then we can expect score above 170+ and same stars will be chasing this 2nd time, and i think today they will chase this target.

sydney thunder 178/6 in 20 overs i told if they play same we can see score above 170+ so first innings score was scored good, now they have to defend this score,

today both hussey brothers are competing with their teams,  mike hussey team thunder has given a good score 178 now they have defend it as david hussey team is also with big hitters

now the match will be interesting. see in 2nd innings.

after a bad bowling performance from stars now they are after 6 over 49/2 both oeners are out now this pair have to perform if not stars will be in trouble.

today thunder performed well with bat and now bowling well, usman khwaja made a maiden century and now russel took 2 wickets in a over, if their is no wicket before 10 overs then stars are mostly going to chase this target.

what a game stars came so close but they were not able to get 10 runs in 6 bowl and really jack kallis bowled so well , it was good that at last 18th over got thunder 8 odd and took a safe bet on them and was both site plus.

adelaide sctrikers chased 152/6 in 19.1 overs and won this match,

both the teams have played one match each and lost it. this match will be interesting as both of them wanted to win the match

What a match between Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars. Sydney Thunder won in the end by 1 run. Really remarkable I'd say. Adelaide Strikers defeated Perth Scorcher in an easy fashion... And Sydney Sixers has absolutely demolished the Hobart Hurricanes.

in todays match my predictions for toss is hobart hurricanes will win the toss and take batting, today mostly score will be high above 170+ and it wont be chased , 2nd batting will come very close to winning but they will throw the match at the end. play at your risk

I'm not very familiar about all of these team strengths but I know only few players in these teams. Tomorrow I think Sydney Sixers may win this match. What you guys think?

Last 4 games in two yrs all 200 around or plus of which 2 chased by hh.

Overall 7 games played head to head. 5 200 around or plus scores. 1 170+ n other 150 around. So 6 high scoring games off 7.

hobart has been good bat deck. 190-200+ 3-5 tyms here. Overall in last 4 yrs 16-17 games here. Only 2-3 under 150 score. Rest recently mostly 150-60+ here.

Bbl1- frst bat won 3. Sec bat won 2.
Bbl2- frst bat won 2 sec bat won 2.
Bbl3- frst bat won 3. Sec bat won 0.
Bbl4- frst bat won 2. Sec bat won 2.
Mostly good score here n mostly high scoring game by these two teams.

so i think this stat will help to play on todays match.

both the team are full of batting and hitters, and sixers played 2 and lost both games, renegades played 1 game and won it, so it will be interesting , but everything after toss. will be back with more info.

so as mentioned hurricanes scored 183/3 in 20 overs, heat came back in game after george bailey gone out, if not the target was nearing above 190+

heat is also having a good batting lineup and the ground is batting pitch, and the record says that 2nd batting came to close winning and lost it most of the time first batting wins here.

very nice batting from heat in 2nd innings they are 55/1 in 6 overs at the run rate of 9.16 if they persume the same runrate then i think they can chase the score, but wickets will be the key here for winning

thank you very much, as per my view today everything went according to my way, hobart won the toss and took batting and according the team and ground stats they scored high from starting they maintained the 8 run rate and score above 180 and starting they lost the control but in between they took wickets and won the match.

Big Bash League, 8th Match: Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Sixers at Melbourne (Docklands), Dec 23, 2015

both the teams got big names, sixers won the toss and elected to field

renegades started well but in the middle lost wickets and gayle important wicket fell, now as per run rate they will score above 160+
if they score this then they have to defend it and mostly here in this ground 2 games chased and 2 games defended

Chris Gayle and Cam White got to a pretty good start.

Looking forward to the result. My bet is on the Renegades though.

renegades scores 172/4 in 20 overs nice score the last over hitting made a lot of difference and the starting of sixer is also bad they lost 1 wicket , now they are 6/1 in 2 overs, mostly renegades will win this match.

what a come back from sixer , the partnership between lumb and henricks made sixer near winning, and a very good knockout from lumb. now renegades are in danger.

renegades scored good and the start was good but they were not able to get out the partnership of lumb and henricks which gave their team a winning score, if you see both teams came favrite so if you are trading then you wont be in loss

todays match was really good first batting renegades strting was good in the midle they started to lose wicket and at the death overs they scored good 170+,

same thinkg sixer were one down in starting overs then M J Lumb and M C Henriques made a good partnership and won the match for sixers,

in the league sydney sixers won 2 and lost 1 in 3 games and they are top in chart.

ya todays match was very interesting , as both the teams showed their batting and bowling skill very good

Last year's Big Bash finalists Sydney Sixers have won another game; this time by 3 wickets, against Melbourne Renegades.

The Renegades batted first, and put up a respectable total of 172/4. West Indians Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, as well as Tom Beaton - all scored forties to take their team to this total.

But, as we've seen before in this tournament, such a total is way below par. The Sixers chased the target in 18.5 overs with sixties from Michael Lumb & Moises Henriques. Nathan Rimmington's 4/26 went in vain.

very bad performance from heat they were not able to bat except lyon , he is the only batsman who scored above 70+ if not i think today heat would have been around 50 runs only,

other side perth scorcers won by loosing only 1 wicket within 15.1 overs only,

Big Bash League, 10th Match: Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Stars at Sydney, Dec 27, 2015

sydney sixers are in first position played 3 match won 2 lost 1
melbourne stars are in seventh position played 2 match lost 2

melbourne stars have big name players who are hitters but they were not able to give the result as both matches they lost was against high scores. both the games they lost in chasing, as per my view tommorrow they will win the match.

heat vs perth match went straight winning,

Heat scored very low score, Perth bowling and batting was good and home pitch benefit was ripped well, crusing heat with low score and chasing it in 15 overs.

10th match will be good as Sixers have lost their both matches and they are in need of a win to boost their team .

Sydney Sixers won the toss and elected to bat,

Today will be a high scoring match above 170+ and as per my view it will be chased it. Melbourne Stars have to perform today as they have lost their last two matches not chasing, and today they are back with chasing.

as mentioned today stars will fight and try hard to win this match, sixers are now 110/4 if they score above 140+ then also their will fighting in this match, henricues got retired hurt , now sixers are one short of bowlers, mostly this match will be chased it but how much drama stars will do that is the main point.

Sydney Sixers 139/6 (20) Melbourne Stars is to play.I will say Sydney failed to finish the match at some decent score.Starts today has golden opportunity to show their skills to win this match which is do able.

The odds for Sydney is very good because of this low score @3.60 and I will avail this opportunity to make some profit.I don't think Sydney will let this match go from its hands that easily.Melbourne is good team but will have to play extra ordinary to snatch this match.

It seems Melbourne Stars has good chance to win this match and i am hopeful about my bet on Stars will make good profit for me, i have some good odds for it @1.91 :D

I think both teams have equal chance to win this match Sydney Sixers has good bowling attack it can give tough time to Melbourne Stars if it succeed to pick 3 more wickets before 10 overs.

In T20 format only 2 big overs can change the whole match result if Stars succeed to make some good hits than it will be very close to win this match i think first 10 overs will be important for this match.

first 10 overs will decide the fate of any team.It is too early to conclude any result just because of fall of one wicket.I say same both teams have equal chances till now to win this match.Just few overs will be important to change the results.

Melbourne Stars are at @1.41 in my opinion it is good odd to make entrance in this match.In this type of cricket 2/3 overs are enough to hit big and win.This is really low score done by Sixers today.

Melbourne Stars will try its all best to take advantage of this low target even it has been lost first wicket very quickly but that is part of game i think it will try to get nice partnership to get more closer to the target to take itself into good position.

Maxwell looking dangerous moving runs so nice Stars cant afford to lose this good chance to win this match now it is all on batsmen how they will build their innings to make this possible.

Sydney Sixers succeed to get second wicket i think it is ready to get Melbourne Stars into trouble just 2 more wickets before 10 overs than the whole game will into its favor.

T20 format of cricket is quite unpredictable any team can win the match even its 8 wickets down because it depend how the batsmen are mentally strong and how to maintain their performance into huge pressure from point of view Stars still looking more strong and will win this match.

I don't think Sixers can win this match with this 2 wickets Stars is more better team and will beat it easily.

sydney sixers made 139/6 the socer is not that high , but still they can defend it, as star are now 48/2 in 8 overs now thieir are more batsman to come and today really maxwell is looking danger,

Definitely. The stars are much better than the strikers. With those 2 on the pitch, the stars will for sure win.

The 2 teams are very close to each other when it comes down to skill level. They both have exceptional players and I can't decide which team is better.

Stars were really in need of wining and they got it after they restricted sixers to only 139 score, after loosing 2 wickets maxwell and handscomp both batted well and won the match. This winning will boost the spirit of Stars.

Before the start of this match I thought Starts will not win this match but some how they pulled the match with great performance. Sixers should have posted another 30 to 40 runs than match would have been very interesting.

TBH I hate stars... I'm just not a fan of them.

 Big Bash League, 11th Match: Sydney Thunder v Adelaide Strikers at Sydney, Dec 28, 2015

Both the Teams have played two games and won both games , Both the teams are having good hitter batsman and bowlers, so there will be tough fight today.

Sydney Thunder Won both match playing first and defending it.

Adelaide Strikers won one match first batting and defending it and another match they chased it.

So today toss will be important and the decision to take batting as i think if thunder won the toss and take batting then they can post high total.

Today Hobart Hurricanes vs Brisbane Heat,

Hobart in batting playing at the run rate of 9 as per it the score will be 180+, if they make this then they have to defend it with good bowling,

I am preety sure and make a prediction that christian from Hobart will make 50 or 50+ who is with me my bet is on Christian..

Big Bash League, 12th Match: Brisbane Heat v Hobart Hurricanes at Brisbane, Dec 29, 2015

when ever this two teams have played first innings score will be high and today also it happened

Hobart scored 194 in 20 overs and now they are bowling well with heat loosing 2 wickets in 1.2 overs itself, who ever have taken hobart in the starting can arbitrage and take some small bet on heat so that they will be now in profit on both teams.

The hurricanes are going to win this one for sure. Dan Christian's back to back sixes. They're just SOOOO MASSIVE!

One is 117 metres and the other, 112 metres. One even got onto the roof!

Big Bash League, 13th Match: Melbourne Renegades v Perth Scorchers at Melbourne (Docklands), Dec 30, 2015

Perth won the toss and elected to field,

melbourne has good batsman but they are lacking in bowling on the other side perth got good bowlers but their batting performance is bad so today will be a good match.

melbourne are now 61 in 6.4 overs and as per the run rate the score will be above 170+

Melbourne Scored only 170 , perth have restricted them very nicely, now they have to do some good batting

As said perth played mlr 4 tyms prev n won all 4.
Bbl1- perth chased 188 vs mlr here.
Bbl2- perth scored 180+ n won vs mlr at perth
Bbl3- perth scored 118 around vs mlr n defended at perth.
Bbl4 perth scored high score 190+ n won at perth.
So perth won all those. N two tyms perth won from mlr low odds once high chase in bbl1 n next low defend in bbl3.

One thing perth got high 180+ scores three tyms in four vs mlr once chasing n twice frst bat n in all those both openers got 50+I think with 100 opening stands.

so right now if the openers start good then their is chance of chasing the game.

Big Bash League, 14th Match: Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Sixers at Adelaide, Dec 31, 2015

Sydney Sixers have played 4 matches won 2 and lost 2 points 4

both the team are strong in batting and bowling, will give more stats after toss

Scorchers won easily... Michael Klinger & Shaun Marsh just smashed everyone. Well done and that shows their class I think.

Sydney Thunder won the toss and elected to field

Sydney Thunder 3 match 3 won on top of the table
Hobart Hurricane 3 match 2 won 1 loss 5th in the table.

Hobart v Sydney Thunder has lost its 2 wickets very early at the start of it inning.Earlier Hobart finished it inning at 163/6.Sydney Thunder could chase this match easily as they have ability to do so.It seems in real troubles now.

Thunder is definitely going to win this one, easy  ;D

I took this situation as opportunity and placed my bet on Thunder @2.06 after loss of 2 early wickets.I do agree Thunder will win this match.Hobart has to do something extraordinary in order to win against thunder.This is really interesting match to enjoy.

Hurricane made 163/6 in 20 overs late hitting by bailey  has scored good runs

thunder are two down wickets now this pair is important but as per my view today thunder will win the match and chase it their will be some ups and down but last result will be thunder win

113 runs on loss of 4 wickets with 31 balls in remaining,Thunder still needs 51 runs which is not big thing in modern days cricket.I have doubt that Thunder will win today as important wickets are down.

Few minutes ago I took risk on Hobart @4.20 and now it seems this was best idea to through some money on it.Sydney Thunder with 2 wickets left needs 21 runs which at this stage seems very difficult to make.

This part of the match is to be watched and enjoyed.Last few balls with 1 wicket and 19 runs.Anything can happen in this match now.

it was really quite interesting nail baiting match, till 16th over thunder were strong, but after that the spineer took the wickets and hobart was back in the game, balance reed and tait took the wickets and hobart won the match,

16th over the odd for hobart was 5.5 , today also like yesterday from low they lost the match.

Todays big bash match was super the bowlers done a good job for hobart and won the match by taking wickets in last death bowling.

ya it was really a super match , with tensed death overs by bowlers who won for hobart, one time it was looking that they will chase it but on 17th over spinner took 3 wickets and other bowlers also made it for hobart,

tommorrow their is 2 matches, first one is both big teams conflicting, will be interesting to watch that match.

Melbourne Stars vs Melbourne Renegades - I feel Melbourne Stars may win this Match.

Perth Scorchers vs Sydney 6ers - I feel Perth Scorchers may win this Match. By looking at there past record I think these two teams will win but I don't have much idea on these Australian teams.

Melbourne Stars are look quite strong team compared to stars team but the other two teams I'm not sure who is strong.

So for I never bet on these big bash league games because I'm also not much familiar with these teams.

Perth Scorchers played 3 match won 2 lost 1 - fouth position in table

Sydney Sixers played 5 match won 2 lost 3 - fifth position in table.

in this match both the team have lost quick wicket in starting and then the batsman have build up the score. so this match is better to play inplay

after loosing 2 wickets melbourne renegades are 115/2 in 15 overs the run rate according the score will be over 160 but thier bowling is very poor that is why last 2 matches they were not able to defend it, let us see today what they can do.

as i told according to run rate they will score 160 and they scored excatly 161

melbourne star's start was good but they lost 2 wicket right now they are 50/2 in 7.3 overs , still their are batsman to come but they have to give one good partnership and they are in the game if not renegades will win this match,

Melbourne Stars require another 105 runs to win this match with 8 wickets and 11.3 overs remaining. The required run rate is around 10 runs per over. This is run rate is common is T20 matches but how batsman will manage this stress we need to wait and see.

Why no Indian players are not playing Big Bash League T20. Even I heard their IPL is more famous and lengthy t20 tournament. Is there any specific reason for Indian players got excluded in Big Bash?

nice question but i think here in india county matches are running for that theyare not available or they are not able to play pace bowlers,


Luke Wright Played a super knock out of 109 not out and won the match for Melbourne Stars much need win for them as last 2 matches they have lost chasing it it will give the team a winning spirit.

second match is going to start  , sydney sixers won the toss and elected to bat, much need win as they have lost last 3 matches and they have to win this match.

Perth Socrchers v Sydney Sixers Perth Scorchers @ 1.52 is looking best in comparison between both teams performance says this.I am going for this for this live match .

Sydney Sixers @ 2.48 in my opinion Sixers should win this match already they took a good start as 34 for 2 wickets in 5.4 overs.They will set up a good defending target for Sydney Sixers what I see.

Perth Socrchers v Sydney Sixers this is a stage to take risk after the loss of 3rd wicket odds for Sydney is @4.30.It is a situation where jumping in match can easily make much money for sure.

well stars won the match by few points what a nice comeback after their back to back losses

Perth has won 2 matches out of 3 whereas Sydney has lost 3 matches recently.There will be lot of pressure on Sydney and which is seeming from there game play.Sydney seems desperate to win this match.I watch with doubt to be the winner of this match.

totally agree they are taking pressure and loosing wicket and score is not coming they are right now 47/3 in 8.2 overs at this run rate the score will be above 140+ if this partnership runs for above 12 overs.

This will be a low scorer match with total scores at around 120 maximum.Perth's position at this stage is very strong as it has tight grip on this match.Perth's players doing their best to keep the target of this match as minimum as possible.Sydney is not looking comfortable at all now.

I do agree with you.I was watching this match and can predict now after 9 overs match that you are right.Sydney will not win unless some miracle to happen in this match.

Due to pressure today  Sydney stars really performed very bad and got all out for 112/8 on the other hand perth bowling was super,
and now batting is also good without taking any pressure openers are playing sensibly theyare now 41/0 in 6.2 overs

its clear that perth is going to win this match until something unexpected bowling performance not happen from sixers.

Perth now into solid position so that it is playing more faster because 113 runs target is not very huge and easily chase able but Sydney Sixers got unlucky today because of extra ordinary bowling performance by Perth it is delivering all around performance into this match.

I don't think Sydney Sixers has any chance to stop Perth at this stage when it needs 48 runs to win this match it looking will be an easy for it.

Shaun Marsh playing wonderful and making runs like scoring machine so quickly it seems Perth will get succeed to finish this match into 17 overs because Sydney Sixers looking helpless to stop making runs there.

That is really entertaining inning Marsh making runs so quickly there i am enjoying this match without any bet on it. ;)

After wonderful job done by bowlers now batsmen playing with confidence because they have no pressure of big total 113 looking low score into t20 format now Perth into very strong position and so close to win this match

S Marsh score fifty runs inning and still playing more responsible cricket for Perth this is brilliant batting performance now it required 23 runs with 9 wickets in hands this will massive victory for Perth against Sydney Sixers.

I think Perth is really awesome in today match bowlers delivers outstanding performance and now batsmen doing same for it 100 runs scored into 13 overs and now 13 required into 42 balls much easy job to win this match at this stage. 

Sydney Sixers played very poor with so many mistakes that is why it failed to get itself into fighting position.

I also initially thought heat will not win this match but some how they chased down this big score. But there batting shows that all of them were very good in batting not just one or two batsman did this miracle. But I didn't bet on this match.

it was really a superb batting performance from Brisbane Heat their top order performed well and as usuall Chris Lyon done his job and finished the game with his experience. their was rain danger also but it not harmed the match.

Yes, Heat team is not doing that great in this series. Toss may be important for longer term games but in short format games toss may not be that important because pitches may not turn so much in 40 overs. There might be some slight changes.

It is pretty hard to predict about today match because both teams are at same level with equal chance to win but i personally think Sydney Thunder has good combination of players and has ability to to beat  Melbourne Renegades.

Sydney Sixers vs Sydney Thunder This is what stopped me also to place after watching 1st innings match.I was sure it is not safe to go for any team in this match.As chances were 50/50 so in this case better save your money for other match.It is nature of cricket one good over can turn the match into favor of any team.

Sixers just lost 7th wicket on 148 just under 16th over.It is almost impossible for them now to chase the remaining scores.They had to control the match when they were bowling but that was first step which took this match away from their hand.

Last year in this ground one game went low scoring and its due this year so i think today it may be the low scoring day.

60/3 in 3.4 overs although Gayle is hitting hard on the other hand he is unable to find support from non striking hand just to create partnership.I see it alarming situation because Gayle alone is not enough to make this possible.

It seems difficult for Renegades to do qualify for semi final because they didn't succeed to finish the match at some lower score and in 15 overs to do it will be amazing even at this point all is looking good.

4th wicket was most important of Gayle is picked up by Head T now this will become turning point of the match into favor of Melbourne Renegades as Gayle was the guy who could make anything possible in this match.Now I don't see any hope for Melbourne Renegades anymore after this wicket had been lost.

It was really a super game between renegades and strikers,

The biggest mistake renegades batsman did was they couldn't hold their wickets. Gayle was firing from one end, all they had to do was to give him company, take a single and give him strike and he would have done it but they kept losing wickets from the other end and it must have disturbed him.

If they had kept the wickets, Gayle would have finished this before 15 overs, which was needed for them to qualify for semis. But good for me as I had the Strikers in the Parlay and I won that. :)

What do you guys thin for the BBL winner, I am not sure which team to go with, but I think if Perth can held their nerves and play good cricket at least to their potential, then easy win on cards.

This morning I thought Adelaide Strikers will win this match but today thunder played really very well and with this win they enter to knockout stage. I was not very confidently guess winner of this match so I didn't bet on this match. But match was good to watch.

Yes Melbourne Stars had failed to put a competitive score for the finale. Shane Watson was great with balls to restrict the Stars, though he failed with his batting. His two wickets were crucial for their victory despite Kevin Piertersen's batting heroics.

Sixers made a good 176 score on board but they were not able to defend the score and bowlers were not able to restrict Usman Khawaja and he score a good game for his team. Here on this ground 176 is not chasable but thunder have done it.

So Sydney Thunders are the winners of Big Bash League T20 2016, and last game for BBL for Mike Hussey, he will be happy winning the cup before leaving BBL.

so here comes the end of this season BBL 2016, it was a full of thrill series with most of the records same as last BBL's,
