Cryptsy just became Mtgox 2.0 and you people are still trusting ponzi investment web wallets and storing your money on exchanges?

You don't own your bitcoins if they are stored on web wallets or exchanges ... you have already given them away and can beg for there return which may or may not be facilitated. Controlling your private keys is 10/10th of ownership.

Earning interest on BTC is against the very principle of Bitcoin.

You get interests on fiat deposits, as they are not protected against inflation. The interest payment is made, in order to compensate you for the decline in the purchasing power of the fiat currency. However, the purchasing power of Bitcoin will not decline with time (due to controlled supply), and therefore interest payments don't need to be made for deposits in BTC.

Try lending your coins but always be sure to secure it with a collateral. Don't rely much on investment schemes as they will likely turn out to be a scam. There is a lending secgion here in the forum, you could also try btcpop.co and bitbond. They offer great service and security for the lender. Goodluck!

You can earn interest on BTC by investing it (Which is not necessarily accomplished by just investing it, the asset also has to perform) on any reputable platform you can find, or through holding it somewhere that offers interest like poloniex or other services.

Alternatively, if you feel like loaning it is a better way to do it, sites like BTCJam seem reputable right now, so you can look at those and aim to loan our some of your Bitcoin.

Make sure to do your own research, though. I am not telling you what to do, just giving you ideas.

Hi, I'm using BW, which gives you 7% annually (0.02% daily) and haobtc with 3% annually ( hourly increments )

It's not much, but that's why reason I trust them rather than other HYIP like investment.

the only way is to dump some coin, to buy some pos coin, that is supposedly stable, then you cna earn interest with that pos coin, and convert again in bitcoin

but the market of that altcoin, will be most likely fluctuate so you need to be careful when selling

We can earn interest from PoS coins, but the price of the coins might drop as most PoS coins do.

Do you ever heard HYIP ? i think it's good to invest on HYIP, but if you don't know how HYIP works you should not try HYIP. my advice is just invest small-medium and pick short-term.

Amen! like everything is this life, the education is very important, people should research things like you said before getting involved on bitcoin world, even following this philosophy you can be "owned" :P but at least you will avoid most of the "bads ways to work with it".

because of the nature of bitcoin i never liked any sort of method of investment. it makes it doubly hard to trust any investment options.
i know of a couple of exchangers that pay you daily interest if you hold your cryptocurrencies in their site. but everybody knows about the risks they have. just check how many times they pulled a gox or an alleged hack.

For the exchanges that pay you interest, it is better to avoid that. One example is the Vircurex. It is closed.

Earning interest on Btc through investing on other sites is not recommendable, because you wont be having any control on your investment if anything happens. It is much better that you can start lending service in the lending section. Their you can Lend Btc to the users by accepting collateral. If the user defaults the payment you can sell the collateral and save you investment.

One more you can do is trading in bitcoins if you have knowledge.

One can earn interest by providing loan to users and getting a limited percentage of bitcoin as interest for the provided value based on the agreed statements between provider and the beneficiary.

I think the OP just made this thread to promte his fucking scam/ponzi website cause he was last active one day after this post and says he used it loll.

Lending websites or investment websites are mostly scam ones and they never return the amount they have promised to give. I've also invested in such a website and lost my money as their reviews also are fake ones. You can try the lending section of this forum but still it's risky as many users could not manage to sell their collateral due to issues with the collateral accounts. It's best to trade the bitcoins and earn profit.

He seems to be promoting his ponzi website here as he has posted a positive review about the website without any proof. There are very few genuine websites that pay users 1% interest daily and they are genuine but 90% of ponzi websites are just scam ones. It's better to invest in forex websites as they are more trustworthy. With regards to fiat currency, bitcoins aren't exactly the same.

The lending section here is not that safe for users as there are many who try to scam using a collateral that can get banned easily or be marked with negative ratings and most users take a loan for gambling. It's safe to lend to reputed
users only but still the reputed users can sell their accounts and the new owner will ask for an amount that is more than the price of his account, just to scam.

I think one of your collateral of POT Hero Member rank you are selling in the auction, which i think you are using as collateral for your solo group of mining. If that is true then how come your group is safe.

Here is the Link of the Thread where you are selling your account.

That is not interest that is a gain based on value.   I find most interest bearing as risky there are a lot of scams out there.  There is that bitmain PACMiC v4, but it is a pretty low interst.

But if you find high interest I think high risk comes with it in almost all cases.

they are mostly scam i would avoid, the only way you have to earn interest with bitcoin, is use some pos coin that have  a good interest per day and invest there

but they do not come without risk, the good think is that you can always trade these alt, and if you're good enough there other profit to be made on top of the interest

Instead of investing in ponzi websites, you can invest in gambling websites and game the money part by part to earn more profit. Websites like primedice are trustworthy and you can earn even more by playing dice. Ponzi websites pay for sometime and then turn scam. Forex based investment websites too are reliable.

Well i will suggest to you that dont join in any investment site because you will scam in the end or your withdrawal will be luck in few days..
So stay away in any investment site and also cloudmining you will be scam anytime.. I will suggest to you to hold your coins until the price increase and sell it after that and buy again for a cheap price to make profit with your coins.. You can also save coins to buy a potencial high rank account to join in any campaign that you can earn bitcoins easily than claiming in any faucet or investment site..

Take a glance at Poloniex, you can offer many altcoins for loans, too. The tragedy of the BTC lending bussiness is how to take guarantees. A well known tradeside somehow can tackle that pesky detail for you.
Revenue might be smallish.

How do you earn interest on BTC?

to my experience, all the websites that has been giving profit on bitcoin investments are either scams, which means they are going to run away with all the money they have gathered; or they (at least) seem legit but after a while they announce they were rubbed, hacked or some weird story like that and declare bankruptcy.

in any case the bitcoin investors are left without their bitcoins and there is absolutely nothing they can do to get it back, because of the amounts, anonymity or the distance between (may be in another country).

that is why I always suggest my friends to stay away from any kind of investment plan in bitcoin.

I think bitcoin gambling casino investment can gives you interest but not all the time result is the same..
If you really want to earn in time  to time using bitcoin you can try trading in bitcoin to usd and usd to bitcoin the price fluctuate in bitstamp are increasing and decrease these days.. So if you have a good capital of bitcoin you can sell it i high price and sooner buy bitcoins again make your own margin but dont stay in one margin also change it when the trading is not profitable.

Tricky question, BTC isn't like USD now and there are no legitimate banks to hold it and lend/ get you interest. HYIP's and the like aren't an option IMO and just a waste of money.
The other options are Trading against USD and buying/selling altcoins, even these aren't favorites to me since the market can move either way and it's pretty much gambling..

HODL and wait for the price to improve :D !

Banks provide interests, stocks provide a dividend.
Bitcoin can increase in price.
But if you try to get interests as well, there is a really big chence that you manage to lose your coins instead.
Of course you can try to trade, but that needs skills and is risky as well in many ways.

Why dont you try investing in altcoins ? Pos coins grow and collect compounding interest. Even pow coins can be a good investment but no set return is promised. If someone promises you a set balance then they are lying to you.

There many altcoins to invest in just look through the altcoin announcement section. Also dont believe everything you read. Make decisions for yourself.

Yeah agree that altcoins are emerging in rate of usage and price rate. However, bitcoin would be top for all the crptos. If you wish to make investment by getting interest regularly. You could try to do lending services. Btcjam is the best site to start your services but still its risky. Check and continue to move with it.

But, if we dont have a good capital for trading, we can use this forum to earn some rewards Bitcoin
with joining signature campaign. In my experience, I'm often aktive in this forum for learn about Bitcoin/altcoin
and also I'm get some Bitcoin here with joined signature campaign, then I'm go to Poloniex and Bittrex Exchage to trading.

IMO you don't reallu need to invest in anything other than in bitcoins if you are looking gor a long term investment. I mean you could just buy bitcoin and then store it in your wallet then wait for a price increase. Ofcourse that'll take sometime but it doesn't need any kind of special knowledge to do.

No, because best inretest and safest investment is to hold ur coins. Thats it.
There is no get rich quick scheme that is viable and honest, bitcoin as true revolution can give u this maybe, but in itself, not in 3rd party scam.

According to me You Should Avoid Using these Types of Investment Sites Because these sites are Running a Ponzi Scheme and When they earn Much Money they will Run Away with the Money they had Saved After Paying all Deposits. So I Suggest you to Leave these Types Of Sites Otherwise you will Lose Your Money.....

Investing in casino I think it's very risky, gambling usually make us hooked when luck was with us.
But it's not a safe place to invest Bitcoin because there many have gamblers who are hungry for money.

I use lending on poloniex, the returns are pretty small but I feel it is a pretty safe place..

Cryptsy just became Mtgox 2.0 and you people are still trusting ponzi investment web wallets and storing your money on exchanges?
 ::)

You don't own your bitcoins if they are stored on web wallets or exchanges ... you have already given them away and can beg for there return which may or may not be facilitated. Controlling your private keys is 10/10th of ownership.

Sure, but nobody ever made interest by buying product, then digging deep hole and leaving it in  ;) OP asked how to make interest on existing product, not speculate on its price eventually skyrocketing.

As others have said, best way to make profit by interest is to lend bitcoin. Either directly via P2P lending sites or through third party/exchange. The first one is more high risk/high reward, the other is the opposite. P2P lending has also steep learning curve as you will need to screen all borrowers individually. Around 10% of them doesnt pay back, so make sure you will invest in small amounts into multiple deals.

Not exactly. Loaning money runs the risk that you'll never get paid back your principal. That's especially risky with Bitcoin where there is zero way to fight to get your money back if a borrower steals it.

The only risk-free way to earn interest on your Bitcoin right now is at FreeBitco.in...4% annually, paid every day...and 25% commission on the interest your referrals earn.

With respect, I think you're confused.

There's no risk in losing this savings that earns the 4% interest AND if you do want to gamble what other gambling site is paying you when you're not placing bets?!

You're getting 4% because there is no risk. If you were risking your BTC you'd have the opportunity to earn more, you'd also have the opportunity to lose it all.

It's an obvious choice for me, what about for you?

I may agree with you partly, because going to work everyday and putting them into HYIP sites looks really senseless.
I would say that better idea is to convert BTC to fiat and use legit investing programme, which provides 4% every year, but that is not the main subject of our discussion here.

If you are really looking for earning interest on just holding your bitcoins ( not talking about price increase ) then I'm sure you will like loaning threads.
You can also loan BTC to people on poloniex, the interest there is fairly good.

I would suggest avoid any kind of HYIP's or Cloudmining sites, in most cases they are regular ponzi scheme.

That said, you are still LENDING ie. moving your bitcoins to their storage. You have no control over your bitcoins for 4%... annually. You could make more money, if you just lended fiat in your home country and had full backing of local judicial system at your disposal.

Bitcoin as whole is still high risk investition regardless how you spin it. Risking your entire portfolie for 4% isnt good enough.

If people just screened their borrowers properly and made sure, that their never lend out more than couple of % to any particular one, it is possible to make even 50% a year with low risk. Via companies like Bitlendingclub.

Beat low risk/low reward sites like you posted, I think.

Ok, I'll agree with that. Members are "lending" their balance to FreeBitco.in so that they funds can be used for other things...same as a savings account in a fiat-bank.

With that said - do you have a balance of BTC sitting in a wallet? If so, you should consider devoting some of that to earning this interest. It's not invested in some high-risk scheme, it's not some payment for pool mining. It's merely giving you a realistic payment for leaving a balance in the account.

If you're a diversified investor this is an opportunity you should be seriously considering.

AND, if anyone is concerned about the liquidity FreeBitco.in has to pay out on the balances, let me know and I'll post proof.

As others have said, best way to make profit by interest is to lend bitcoin.

Well Getting interest on BTC is sound quite good.

But I just thought for word Interest especially. And it blows my mind.

As anyone can get interest per day on your own investment and very safely.

I think newbies still not aware about PoS(Proof of Stake). PoS is type of wallet which pays user interest on staked coins within wallet.

PoS is really a great way to get good return on investment.

Ah, those days are in the past! You can now earn interest AND still participate in the potential for Bitcoin value appreciation. The interest is here, don't let another day go by without getting paid.

It's a brave new world!

This. The mathematics of Fiat currencies work to primarily support the subject of interest. Since there is nothing to back Fiat currency against i.e a limited supply of Gold or something like that, there exists a potential for Fiat currencies to expand indefinitely. Banks and credit cards are two channels that create "credit" in our financial system and the idea of "interest" is an invention from that.

Unless you found a provider who privately took on Bitcoin loans from other people and reinvested their money into ROI profitable businesses so that everyone benefitted, it would be difficult to find a place to obtain true "interest" on your BTC.

IMHO the best way earn interest from your Bitcoin is to set up a Bitcoin mining rig  :D

Yes, the profit chances are very good, but make sure to choose a casino with many active gamblers all day long and don't expect fast profit (on short term), as there is a risk to have negative profit at the beginning of investment. The house can have losses on short term, what means investors will have it also, but it's safe on long term if the casino is legit and safe.
