When was the first time you bought bitcoin?(Or mined)

Mining I wasn't do anything. But my first bitcoin purchase was from localbitcoins only. Now currently I have 0.841 BTC in my desktop wallet.
What about yours? man!!!

i didn't really "buy" bitcoins my first time i was given bitcoins for some website design ^_^ that was back in 2012 i have been using them ever since!

There have been several times when I would have bought bitcoin if only it was easier/safer. I've always earned them and sometimes had good profits from trading alts.

To tell the truth,I haven't bought any bitcoin yet.It is not that I can not buy it but every time I decide to buy I postpone it for next price fall.Another reason is that when I can earn it,why should I buy it?

it was like a year ago when i bought some bitcoins, though it was way less bitcoins than 1 as i bought about 0.12 btc

The first time that i bought bitcoins, was last year, i bought half bitcoin on coinbase. And on minning, first time that i mined some micro-bitcoins was on cex cloud mining (now is closed because the fees are higher than the bitcoin reward).

I have never bought any btc yet, and not planning to buy either, i have been earning btc from sometime and will keep earning and growing them in future.

19 June 2011 was the first time I bought bitcoin, I know because I used PayPal, and I recently logged back into my account and was going though all my past transaction (not many) and saw the transaction to VirWox. I bought Linden$ for the game Second Life, then exchanged those for bitcoin

Think my first purchase was around 0.4 bitcoin & it was in May 2014.

March of last year or roughly around the time I joined bitcointalk.  Wasn't too long ago but it seems like ages.

It was very early 2013 when Bitcoin was still worth around $20 per coin. Too bad I was only interested in profits by that time, and thus I sold them later.

I bought last year when the price of bitcoin was around $250 so if I see at current price, then I am into profits, but would love to hold more for next couple of months.

Jan 2014, I bought my first 0.1 BTC on eBay at a rate of $950 per BTC.

That's why you should buy while you can. $400 is nothing.

It was end of the year 2014. I bought like $20 worth of bitcoin to have something to start with in my wallet. It's bot much but I managed to get profit from it. :)

3 months ego i bought my first bitcoin .

I borrowed from my friend 6 months ago, as I wanted to buy accounts to join signature campaign, I am not sure what was the price at that moment as I only wanted to start earning money.

Maybe about 2 years ago was the first time I bought a bitcoin.

I think it was last year May. I bought about 0.1. The rest are from faucets or other online payout, like the one in my signature :)

I started out mining alts and converting into BTC, but I believe it was around August last year that I actually purchased BTC outright. I remember as it was hovering right around the $200 point and I was thinking that would be a good time to get in, "buy when blood in the streets" mentality and all.

Never bought any bitcoin yet. I only earn them through signature campaigns, trading or faucets. I.was planning to buy before but then the price gets high so I did not push through.

yes I am not know bitcoin also but every  time think when my salary will come . I will buy bitcoin because bitcoin is very use full for business and any thing buy when buy with bitcoin any thing ever get goods very low price.

I saw a video on youtube in the end of 2013... but I start to mining in january 2014 with my photovoltaic system -- from my post graduate studies.
I mined more than 100BTC until this moment, but I lost 16BTC on satoshiDice and satoshiBones + 1BTC from a sh** cloud mining contract. I bought 22BTC on localbitcoins.com in the falling period of 2014 and 2BTC on Mercado Libre in 2015... nothin' more.

I have bought my first coin from localbitcoins via perfect money a long time ago. It was only 0.10 bitcoin, but i have bought it to invest not to hold.

i purchased my first bitcoin was 2 years ago, i bought from my friend i need it to deposite some amount on cloud mining and hyip site, then they scamed me, so far i invest on hyip or cloudmining was the big decision i ever made, i wasn't complaining just let them go

I purchased my firsf bitcoin last year december.Because i want to grow my money online so i choose bitcoin because there are many ways how you can grow bitcoins and your money online.But for my first time it went bad because i know nothing how bitcoin works so i lost all ny money at the first time.Then untill now im usinh bitcoin to grow my money and im succesful now.

maybe last two years,i buy bitcoin when i know bitcoin price will go up and ts really happen when i bought bitcoin,but i'm not buy many bitcoin,its why i just got small profit. i wish this week i can buy a lot of bitcoin for waiting bitcoin halving.

Just last month and only a very small amount. I have been buying small fractions whenever the price dips. I am still miles away from my first bitcoin but with continuous buying and earnings from signature campaign, I plan to have two bitcoins by the end of the year. That is if the price is not that high.

I never bought bitcoin in my life, first time I get bitcoin from a giveaway on alt coin website. I think if I can get the BTC for free, why not? ;D  . Many people have the same thinking with me just get for free and make a profit with that.

i wish i could mine bitcoin or at least back in the days when you could mine it yourself i wish i knew about it and did it on my own to store some bitcoin for that big rise

If we are talking about buying bitcoin for FIAT. Then I have never done it. When I started with bitcoin at first I was maniacally using faucets to earn BTC.
Then when I realized that they are not actually gonna bring me much I quit. Bitcoin is more like a hobby of mine, I don't plan of getting rich by buying it.

Actually I've never bought any bitcoin. I just didn't believe in bitcoin when I was first told about it. So I prefer to collect it from the beginning until the end  ;D

besides, I've never mined either. I just earn bitcoin from signature campaign so far. No cost, but profit.

i personally never bought. and my not in future. because i have no such amount to buy a single bitcoin. thus i managed to earn it. and so m i doing. i think i have the best option is earn it and make a good aunt of it. i know it will take a lot of time but hope the time will come when i will be able have a good amount of bit coin in future.i also suggest my other friends to start earning it from a signature campaign.

If you are an active user of signature campaign you will hold good amount of coins in future, whatever you earn now save because it will hold more value in future.

I bought bitcoin in August 2015. But I have been mining it since early 2013. It was good fun at the time.

I first bought bitcoin last year before christmas. my friend introduced bitcoin to me and i definitely liked it.

I never actually buy Bitcoin nor Buy it, because mining is hard to do nowadays. But I earned it by doing some jobs or doing faucets (back to the old time).

I bought bitcoins in 2014 for the first time and then the price was in the $300 range. I wasn't finding any user accepting PayPal and hence I used my bank cash to get bitcoins. Then later, the price dropped to $250 and I was in loss and I sold my coins at a loss only as the price never reached $300 for 3-4 months.
Now I buy bitcoins and sell them on LBC only. It's better than paying 15% on virwox.

The same here. I too haven't bought bitcoin but try hard to earn bitcoin through the different earning methods.

I actually never buy bitcoin, bitcoin I was just looking at places that can produce bitcoin for free, such as faucet or something like that. I think it's normal people who are new to bitcoin do

I don't remember when is the time buying bitcoin but i buy bitcoin because want to try new means of payment at one online store.

Its good to earn it for free rather then buying it, as it also needs capital to invest, try to develop your skills, and if you can afford to buy then  this is the right time to buy it.

I bought bitcoin for the first time last christmas. It was when I lost at gambling at sports betting site. That night I won over 0.08btc and lose it with just one game because I am betting all my bitcoin in one game.I won that 0.08btc also that way, betting all my btc in one game. Hoping that my luck will continue I bet my 0.08 in one game then a minute later BOOM! my 0.08 gone haha because I was greedy. That morning I bought bitcoin hoping to won over what I lost but I failed.

i collect it from the faucet on the first of July 2015, for the first time that i only aim to buy some of steam wallet though
and i get sucked in more and more on the further day i using the bitcoin. from faucet, and going into the signature campaign ;D

My first bitcoins came from a faucet too. It's probably the first bitcoin for many users. Because when you see free money you don't wait and get those free money.

I bought my frist bitcoin in 2014 for increasing my bankroll for gambling, now i am regual buying coins to gamble. But anyway it's so rare event for me , buying coins.

The first time I bought a bitcoin was back in 2013, I was very interested in it and just took the risk back in the days to try it and and I'm now still using it so that is a good sign right.

i have bought so bitcoin so many times that i can't remember the first time but the majority of bitcoin that i have bought was in last year when the price was at the stable price or ~$220 and mostly when that glorious day happened and price went down to $170 i bought a lot of it back then :)

I also haven't really bought bitcoins and mainly earned them. I earn them and then try my luck in gambling websites and withdraw my profit. Thus if I lose, I am not losing my bank cash and only the cash I earned from campaigns and tasks on this forum. I must say that this forum has made me earn a lot unlike other forums.

the first time I bought bitcoin was about 1.5-2 years ago and I believe I bought it at above $500 but by that time I have only invested very small amount in bitcoin which then I mostly spent it all. but after that especially in the stable price last year around $230 I have bought a lot of bitcoin because the halving was getting near and also I had more money to invest.

its now again about 500 so i think you have a good experience of bitcoin and have the heart to support a stress. as its rate was decreased after you bought it first time. personally familiar with stock exchange where i bare alot of lost but i have no personal experience with bitcoin. its 1st time i am involve in bitcoin . hope it will be a good experience.

As of now never buy bitcoins and i i just earn bitcoins from captcha data entry before and i am one of the fastest captcha typer and made 0.02 or more daily..but in trading its an other story which i bought bitcoin for trading.. trading is the most profitable depends in your skills..

Few weeks back, actually i don't have any idea to buy bitcoin. But, one of my friend wants to sell his 0.005BTC to get paytm balance. So i just send him equivalent amount of paytm balance and got his 0.005BTC. This is the first time i ever bought bitcoin.

It was into early 2013 almost 3 years when it was around $70 - $90 when first time i heard about this innovation, i got amazed when after few days it went to its highest price ever than it made me love to crytpo currency, after this i am still with bitcoin and have strong believe very soon i will be able to get start early retire life.

Around 2015. I was still a newbie back then, and the bitcoin price had crashed below $300. I bought in around 0.03 BTC, that was my first bitcoins ever. It was a smooth trade on localbitcoins.

Back in 2010 I bought 50 Bitcoin for a dollar from my friend. But due to my PC crashed I lost them. (It was just a dollar then)

Same with you. I never actually bought any bitcoins at all. My first few bitcoins came from faucets that I did for over a month (yes, I was a complete newb back then) and I was almost ready to give up because I was starting to think that all my efforts were only worth so much.
Then I learned of doing microjobs, such as here in the forum which I was a lot surprised of the rewards compared to faucets.

Rare, then you get a bitcoin from where ..?? . This is a something that is quite interesting, because you have a BT account with level is high but as long as it is your first time buying a Bitcoin. I think that you have lots of ways to earn extra money in the Bitcoin

I was forget when exactly the first time i was bought Bitcoin but i still remember the years and that's in 2015 when prices down to $300 and i bought that because i want to purchase bitcoin T-shirt and for the payment method they only accept bitcoin not others currency

I bought it only once when I entered the world of bitcoin, and since then I am just earning it in various ways, as I think if we have opportunity to earn then why to buy it.

I'm new on bitcoin world, April 1 2016  i bought only about $5 just to try bitcoin and i put all of it  on HYIP and it run so sad that it only take 1 day to get my investment back. From then i get more careful choosing HYIP. I rather to put my investment on bitcoin mining even the ROI is much more long. But its almost the safest thing I've got now.

I think I started with Bitcoins 3 years ago, I started to use faucet, but didn't mine cause my computer capacity wasn't that great, so I started mining Altcoins and exchanged them into btc, which got me a nice amount.

oh wow, as far as i know the price of the bitcoin wasnt too high at that moment so you might have made a pretty decent profit out of all those collectings didnt you?

I bought in April 2015, and that was time when I came to know about bitcoin and my friend told me to join signature campaign and start earning bitcoin and since then I am here.

I think mid 2015 i bought bitcoin because i would like to try my luck to gamble my money online but result loses.. instead of holding it because the price o bitcoin before i think 300 usd something.. its cheap before i never think that the price of bitcoin will increase just like the price today.. if i know this concept of bitcoins before better to hold it..

I started from faucets, then invested few cents in some ponzies, invested some amount on grmining (when it exist) and on the other hand i've got a great personal deal with pesobang.com (they shut down their service) signature campaign also i'm doing small trades with altcoin. These are the way i'm getting bitcoins.

2016 April I think or was it March. Was nervous as F, I bought some bitcoins via Coins.ph so I could fund my membership on a certain site. On there I selected the option of buying Bitcoin through remittance center (mlhuillier [wire money]). First time to do it, was trembling; was stumbling when I got in and when I lined up haha, didn't know what to tell the teller. Also, I even accompanied my GF who had to wait for me to sort this shiz out who was absolutely foreign to the concept (I guess). It went "relatively smooth" though... (don't have much to base the experience upon) then yeah, I was happy to see Bitcoin in my wallet :)

If you would have hold it at that time and didn't wasted your money in gambling then you would have made good profits right now, but no issues try to learn from your mistakes.

First time I bought my bitcoin is when the time I entered the studying and learning the actual trading method.

I used all my converted bitcoin earnings that I gained from various method to earn bitcoin.

In this it's really possible to really gained from trading even you don't have to use your fiat earnings to start your trading journey.

Yes ,most people buy bitcoins for investment just like what i did , what he did is a very bright or the way he thinks is different from others .i think this man can make bitcoin holdings better.

Must of been in 2012 as I was just getting into it. But I didn't have very much money to buy any thing really worth mentioning how much it was.
I wish I had bought when it was $1 for one as I could of afforded not to go out for meal and buy $5 worth of bitcoins instead.

Travel is quite challenging. Bitcoin is indeed very advantageous for us in the present and in the future. Because the revolution is bitcoin from other digital currencies and will be the busiest digital currencies. The moment that I bought some Bitcoin I was hoping that the value was going to be higher so I can earn some more money later with Bitcoin and that is not that easy.
I am not realizing that the value of the Bitcoin will takes a long time until the value will be higher so that is risky and you need also patience for it.

i remember buying half a coin when the price was around $1000 usd. not sure when that was exactly but its been a couple of years for sure. kind of regret buying at that price now lol  ;)

I think it's not something that is a waste of time. I was in the mine a few years ago and I had mine in cex.io for more than 6 months. and I get a great ROI and profit. then I also sell all my GHS its give me huge profit. I think it's not wasting my time. you should be able to learn from your experiences

im just searching bitcoin from the faucet,so i dont know how much the cost of mining tools here and the bill for the electricity and internet do while using mining tools.

I was very fortunate to join in bitcoin is not in it. so I do not buy at that price. I joined in 2014-2015 so I bought at a price range of $ 300. and it was very beneficial for me

yeah i did that too back then. you could earn a good profit just by trading GHS, buying it low and then selling it high and meanwhile mine with it to earn some more.

but it was a different time with a very different difficulty and maintenance fees . that is why cex.io paused their cloudmining service a year ago and never resumed it yet.

First time I bought BitCoin was when I joined CoinBase, probably 3 years ago. I like CoinBase because they made it very easy to get BitCoin. I still use CoinBase.

I get my bitcoin for the first time I reach this from my friend, tell me about bitcoin giveaway on a new bitcoin website and then, I interested to try it. And until now bitcoin becomes one of my income. I never bought bitcoin just get it for free.

The first time i bought bitcoin is on 2013. It's the first time i invest on bitcoin because i want invest on bitcoin and also i buy around 2-3 bitcoins on that day, for invest and gambing.

I bought 0.1 Bitcoin at 800 per coin. I watched it rocked from 100 to 1090, then it dropped back to 800, I thought this is it. After my bought my coin , it went down more and more, to 200. Now is about 600, still under water.

interesting you are interesting. but you know I never bought a sing bitcoin. because I have no flate money at all. although my friends requested me again to join and buy some bitcoin. but I refus because I was out of money at that time. but I don't want to explain it to my friends. The first time when I bought bitcoin, it was on an exchange when I was new to bitcoin and I was testing the exchange by converting my money to USD and after that i converted back to bitcoin.

i bought my first whole bitcoin last year when the price was stable at $220 and since then i have only been adding to it even in small increments and never pay any attention to the FUDs haha.

The first time that i bought bitcoin is around 5 months ago because i realized that using faucets is a very time consuming and it also gives you a small profit, so i buy atleast 0.025 bitcoin and then i put it on cloud mining site so that i will get a passive income.

I think this is something that makes you regret and can get the experience of this event, because you can be much more knowing and understanding graphs Bitcoin. You don't have to worry because future Bitcoin will be the currency that has a value that is much better than now and we could use the bitcoin in various places

You must have wasted your bought amount by investing it in cloud mining, online cloud mining websites are sick, they pay very little and take years to give your the ROI.
Well, i never bought bitcoin until now, because i'm not doing any job yet, i'm a student and can't afford it so just earning it and holding for the price to go up more.

was on day it just crashed down to 50.

Well for me I never bought bitcoin, I earned them using free methods then invest it in trading. That way I got some bitcoin free of charges without me buying anything and without taking from my portfolio.

The main reason that I was aware of bitcoin but didn't buy bitcoin was that I didn't fully understood how it works and why it's so much better than fiat currencies. But now I do, I regret not buying when it was dirt cheap. Like under $10.

If you started doing signature campaign in 2015, you might have made quite a lot of bitcoin already.

Yup even I bought in 2015 when price was around $250 and at a moment price is $650 so I have already made huge profits and I am hoping for some more in future.

i think i cant remember the fixed date but i can say that it was really a great moment for me when i become able to buy a bitcoin. and i want to tell that for buying bitcoin i got the loam from a friend. and then return it from my salary.

I never bought any bitcoin, since from beginning I believe in earning it and I am successfully doing it since last year and I am very much satisfied with my earnings.

All my earning from bitcoin is not from buying it, but 1 time I buy bitcoin when I see my coin that I monitored in trading is dumping so I just want to buy cheap price that's why I buy bitcoin from my own pocket.

I bought my first bitcoin batches in 2012. Would have been nice if I had found out about bitcoin sooner. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda...

I first bought bitcoin at localbitcoins.com with a 10 iTunes gift card LOL

I known bitcoin since February of 2014, but i have more interest with altcoin that time.  After 3 months when I gathered enough altcoin to convert into bitcoin, I started buying hashes in cloudmining company.  I never bought bitcoins that time, then after a year (2015) I stopped my activity regarding bitcoin.  It was recently (2016) when i returned and get active again with bitcoin and this time I did my first buying of bitcoin to participate in ICO.

Lol anything you would expect to be able to join early it would be a waste, time will continue to run and you're not able to stop it. we can only hope now. that hopefully in the future bitcoin has a high price. and we can start to collect a lot of bitcoin and store up future

The first time I bought bitcoin was I think just this April 2016. My purpose is to invest it in "cloudmining site" because I read a lot of them in social media that it's a legit investment site. It's too good to be true earning around 5% everyday not doing anything but still I invested and so happy that I received everyday that amount and then after a few months the site was offline. I was scammed and I got only around half of what I invested. I learned my lesson that there's no easy money that's why I searched for a way to earn bitcoin and then found this forum.

I bought it last year but I never bought one full btc as it was not affordable for me at that time, so I bought in small parts and after that I started to earn it in different ways.

The first time I buy bitcoin when I buy things on my friend. My friend offered promo if I pay for it with bitcoin. I am grateful to my friend who introduced bitcoin.

For newbies, beware of any and all butcoin related sites. Check out potential sites you want to do business with before you send any USD or bitcoin. I have seen (& used) web sites for purchase of bitcoin that took your money and delivered nothing. There are many scam sites that promise high (impossible rates of return) % returns. They may appear to work for a few days, weeks, sometime months. But they always stop working and return no e-mails or phone calls. If you get burned by even one such site, be warned and don't run out looking for another such site, they are ponzis.

I bought bitcoin in the ATM machine in Vancouver when they first put in the ATM MACHINE when bitcoin was worth almost one thousand dollars. That is the only time I have ever purchased bitcoin.

I bought bitcoin way back 2015, It was a bit cheap back then.  Used it to trade altcoin.  It was fun because somehow I am getting some profit.  Then IPO coins are everywhere,  participated in them. Some are profit and some are just a waste of investment.  So we really need to reseacrch about this IPO but what is it to research when the available information are so tiny. It was before halving this year, when price was around $450-470, it was a good purchase cause i got my profit from halving by selling it when price was  around $720.

I am confuse on your statement at first maybe its late to buy bitcoin then the next phrase is its not too late to buy, the good thing is if you see that you will gain profit if you buy bitcoin now you should buy but if you have doubt then do not invest in bitcoin.

I think you were having a second thought when  bitcoin was at lower price, and now that it gone high, you believe in it, well better late then never.  I bought bitcoin after 2 years of knowing it. I exited once and sold all of my coins, then after almost  a year, i return to bitcoin and I need to  have one so  I was forced to buy and now trading it with altcoins.

i do not buy bitcoin and i earned 3 month before in less amount of bitcoin through online tasks and trading i think many people earning bitcoin through trading and then hold their earn bitcoin for long term and they can get a good profit from bitcoin.

Thats interesting to do the trading and without buying any bitcoins.I think you talking about altcoin trading then its good because you are risk free but i think to earn a decent amount through trading we need to buy some good amount of bitcoins and then trade with them.

Altcoin trading is more risky in compare to bitcoin as we don't know when altcoin will disappear so if you choose the wrong coin then you need to go through huge loss.

If you don't have money to buy it then I think you should try to earn it in best possible ways, as of now we have many ways to earn it, and that will also not need capital to invest, only your efforts will help you in getting it.

Back in 2013 when I got into it I tried mining on my laptop some LTC as bitcoin was too difficult so I was told, but my laptop was pretty old so mining LTC just didn't make sense.  Initially faucets were my entry point and then when I got the hang of how it all works I purchased my first piece of bitcoin.

I`ve bought 12 euro in bitcoins using Virwox back in December 2015.

Virwox fees were horrible so i never returned to this site.

I have never been buy any bitcoin eversince i started on bitcoin industry. I started gained my bitcoin from faucet, to investment and turn to gambling, then one day when my all bitcoin lost it came in my mined to bought bitcoin, but that time i was afraid to be scam by bitcoin sellers so its hard for me to deal with that kind of mindset of mined. Until such time i decided not to buy any bitcoin, i focus on how to earn bitcoin without spending any little amount from my pocket.

I am not aware yet of bitcoin scam before and I immediately jump into it and later on discovered that it's a scam. I learned the lesson the hard way.

I have only bought my coins in localbitcoins and have not had any scam issues so far, considering my first official bought coins were just 2014. I would only buy from those with 100% and 5000+ successful trades.

YOu may got some profit when you sold your bitcoins. but if I were in your place. I would never sell my bitcoins that much early. I believe bitcoin have a great potential to grow up future and reach at least 1000$ next year.

I brought my bitcoins when I saw a news about bitcoins in my local newspaper and searched more about bitcoins on internet for a few days and then i finally decided to buy some bitcoins.

I havent tried to buy or mine bitcoin I am just earning it before from faucets and some android apps only . I was supposed to buy a bitcoin before but due to its high and continuous rising price i've choosed to stay on fauvets and now on signature campaigns .

I got my first bitcoin through faucet since I did not know about this website and I did no how to buy bitcoin in my country and my first time bought bitcoin is on Coins.ph, I can easily buy bitcoin using that website, My first mined bitcoin maybe in back 2015, as of now I cannot mine bitcoin since my lappy cannot handle it.

It's a pretty good way and most do. Because in the beginning they know bitcoin, certainly they do not have a high enough confidence on bitcoin, so they want to prove it with a free way. It's very true and very encouraged, but we have to keep doing good things and not ruin a person's life. Focus and keep the spirit of Comrade!!

I did not buy any coin yet as I am still in the phase of earning and the only source of my earning is bitcoin, so I only get money in the form of bitcoin so I do not have fiat to buy it.

I've tried mining with my GPU a few years back when I first started with btc. Ofc, I;ve got something miserable and I;ve completely stopped. Was mining alt-coins and trading for btc but that is it.

it was in 2012, There was an exchange named MTGox and at that time I though it was BTC itself, I had some funds in with a trader and he gave me an MTGox code, I exchanged it and bought my first 1 BTC "note it was worth $12 or so at the time", Just thinking about how I had no bitcoins when I came back in 2016 is annoying...

i have never bought it too though i sometimes collect money with it and i hold it right now only, i think that it is going to become big soon

I think you should buy in small parts according to your budget, there is no need to buy full btc as price is high at a moment and not affordable for everyone to invest in it.

Same story like mine.  I also bought btc before but I cannot remember how much it is but I bought using the bitcoin wallet.  I went to the bank to buy a bitcoin because I really wanted to invest it.  I wanted ot to grow fast and I thought that by investing it it could grow in just a short period of time.  But yeah, it turns out to be a scam site.  That was like a heartbreak for me.  Since then I do not buy btc just for investing.  I would buy if I have to oay someone through it. 

I never bought it actually i started to earn the bitcoins, because in the start i never trust to anyone but later on when i know about the bitcoin in deeply than i bought it but only when bitcoin price down, it is a right time to buy the bitcoins.

We can never judge what is the lowest and best price to buy bitcoins as it may go even lower after you buy bitcoins, but if you are satisfied with the price then without thinking much you should buy them.

That was the first time I dealt using bitcoins, then second time was when I converted my purchased dogecoins in bitcoin.

Nice to read your success story.  I would do that but I do not think I could save some amount of bitcoin as I usually spend it to buy for my daily needs.  But your post was a good motivation for me.  Starting tomorrow I would try to save, not all of my earnings but a part of it.

You should not worry about the volume of coin, even if you are managing to buy in small amount then also its well and good as it will surely give you some good profits when price goes higher in future.

First time before a month maybe, and I bought it from one friend. I showed him where to play poker and after some time I give him money, my currency for his bitcoins. I did two more times until then, I bought roughly around 0.1 bitcoins from two friends.
It was all on friendly basis, and probably I will continue to do that for them. They playing free tournaments, and when they gather some coins they will sell it to me. Before they played poker on facebook a lot, I told them about how much this is better and now they play poker for bitcoins.

I'm a little confused by what you mean, but I try to guess. that was the mistake we always do listen to other people's opinions and was not sure with what we think. I have learned of it so when I consider something will never listen to others so automatically that I also applied in the trade.

My friend told me he's making 50k satoshis per day using faucet sites and there I thought that was a big amount of money. After fully understanding the terminologies and converting that 50k into fiat, I realized that it wasn't that much. So I joined various investment sites which are all just ponzi sites.

I bought bitcoin from btc-e long time ago to actually buy some litecoins as it was very hot at the time to buy them. I bought 30 litecoins cheap then they went to two dollars a piece then I had to sell them as we were out of work. A few months later they mooned to 40 bucks each and I was devastated lol.

I bought from localbitcoins 2 years back, and I think the price was around $250 at that time and I holded them for a long time and sold when it touched $750 before the halving.

I think the price of bitcoin in two months ago would have a higher price than it is today dude? bitcoin prices in two months ago, I think around $ 650 or $ 700 and is currently bitcoin prices under $ 650. it means that if you hold your bitcoin to this day you still get the loss. so I hope you can be patient to wait for prices to rise

No that was not wasting of money especially if that account is at higher rank like Full member upward that was a good investment ypu can get back what you buy bitcoins in a matter of 3-4 weeks . Try to read on and find what signature campaign suits on your ability .

Well i never engage mining of bitcoin.  As i remember, the first time i bought bitcoin is from my friend, i bought around 0.10btc. Then as being a good friend to each other, he gives me 10% discount from the total amount that i bought to him.. Its better to buy bitcoin from a good friends of yours.

Bad idea for all them besides steam games. Cloud mining I manged to get back some profit from hashocean lost at cld mine , still waiting on hashflair to make return and robot I am still waiting on profit. I 100% say cloud mining is a massive scam will never re invest in it..

As for the gambling I was up .03 from .03 so total .06 and it turns out I was stupid didn't set up 2fa and that account was hacked.

Don't worry about it dude, many beginners got ripped off by ponzi scheme, i think it's fine because they don't know about that. Honestly, me too. Many people started earn bitcoin with bad luck.

Has not been a year yet since the first time I bought. I learned about this just this year in February. I remember I bought bitcoins amounting to $2 just to give it a try.

i am not remember when the last time i make deposit to buy bitcoin, but in last three month, i think i don't make any deposit in money but i only make withdraw for some bitcoin into cash.

More precisely I've never bought bitcoin directly with the money I have. Rather, get bitcoin from mining and trading. In other words, the use of capital just to buy bitcoin mining equipment. And using mining results that I obtained for trading capital.

Well Bitcoin itself is not exactly risk-free, there is no telling whether it will even still be around in a few years. It is true that the longer it survives, the less likely it is to disappear but best practice remains the same as with any other investment, only use money you can afford to lose. Personally I only buy Bitcoin when I have spare money and don't have anything else I want to buy.

Yup we cannot afford to put all our money only in bitcoins as it can be very risky as no one is sure how long bitcoin will survive and if it disappears suddenly in future then we will be loosing all our money at once.

The first time that I bought some bitcoin was two years ago if I am correct and at that point the bitcoin price was not that high so I could buy way more bitcoin then now.
The price is now pretty high and I think that it is only going to be higher.

Yup that was the good time to buy bitcoins as price was not too high and personally I haven't bought  anything using bitcoins as usage of bitcoin is limited at a moment in my country so to spend them I prefer to sell them and exchange to fiat.

I think when i have first bought bitcoin price was like $250 which is preety good price to hold big amount of bitcoin however i don't had many fiat those time so just bought lower than 0.50 bitcoin however still  in good profit. ;D

I agree with you bitcoin price was very low in the past and there is a lot people wish to bought bitcoin in huge amount in the past and then hold it , and now bitcoin price is very high to 633$ .

For me it was 3 years ago that I bought some bitcoins and I still do not regret it, I'm just so happy with my bitcoins to be honest.

Hello there! Anyway, like most of the people who commented here, i haven't  bought my first bitcoin. (Actually its just a couple of satoshis.)

As i recalled, the first time i knew that through bitcoin i can earn, i actually started through faucets. Of course for a newbie, that is the easiest thing to do, right? And it is FREE! So from there, i gain fair enough then do some research and tried to invest to gain more..

The first time that I bought my Bitcoins was when I was starting out and then I never did buy again. When I got into Bitcoins, it's because of those HYIP sites lurking around facebook. People are hyping HYIP up so I guess I want to take a look. I got brain-washed by these HYIP site promoters and so I bought Bitcoins in hopes that I get a lot money out of HYIP sites.

I didn't even get any money out of the HYIP site that they were promoting. I guess it was just bad timing because a lot of people actually made profit out of it. But anyway, all HYIP sites are scam and it will always come to the point where they run away.

If I remember well then it was summer of 2014 when I made my first ever purchased by buying 0.40 Bitcoin. I was having intention to invest in some alternative coin so that was the purpose of buying as well. Since then I am regularly active in Bitcoin as holder and trader and it is awesome to be part of Bitcoin.

I have never bought any Bitcoins , I am just earning from this forum and other sources by doing skill work for bitcoins, altcoin trading and doing some sport betting and poker gambling. And mostly i convert them to fiat currency to meet my daily expenses.

It is when I was a newbie here and I have to buy something that bitcoin is the only payment on that site. So, I asked a friend if he knows someone that sells bitcoin and luckily he knows one. Then, I PM that someone and ask how much is his price in bitcoin and I was so happy because it is not that expensive. To be honest I've got a discount because that someone that I bought my bitcoin is in the same church as mine.

I had started my bitcoin career with faucets and I would say that if ever I just new those bots then I will going to give them a try but I think that is not going to make the faucet industry helpful. The same as yours, I haven't bought any bitcoin I am just earning them and every time I need cash for my allowance I just sell them too.

That is really very strange that you havent ever buyed bitcoin as a senior member here in this forum.With faucet you can only get a few satoshies.

Bought bitcoin for the first time three years ago. And then to many other times during these three years. Even mined.

I bought bitcoin i think 2014 when i want to invest in online investment and the time i want to gamble in dice game that is te first time i bought btc. But now i dont buy because i earn bitcoin in trading also here in forum so i do not buy bitcoin and all my income here i will earn some and some i will cash out.

Honestly I didn't bought any bitcoin till now. I started earning through signature campaign and with the earning of signature campaign I start trading. After that I never looked back and still I think I am successful trader with 5BTC. ;D

Like some other users above, I haven't bought a single bitcoin since I started. I got all the bitcoin I got today via faucet when I was knew, doing altcoin trades and stuff, and via signature campaign. I also invested it and I started at 0. A year after, I have got a decent amount of bitcoin so I think the key to success to bitcoin is patience and hard work for one to always have a decent amount of bitcoin from free.
