secondly your "solution" that you finally cracked. the heat solution problem was solved long ago. you remove the psu from the case and use psu cables vs plugging right into the psu and flip the fans around to blow into the miner instead of drawing heat out.

Off Topic, which I'm guessing is where you posted it before, is for topics that do not belong in any other board. Please learn to understand English properly before complaining about the forum is run.

The moderation is pretty consistent and a moderator would not move your thread unless they were sure of where it belongs.

You can do it yourself.Use the controls on the lower left of the page and click on "Move Topic".I think it might stay in bitcoin mining-hardware if it does not has any specialty for altcoins.

Anybody that is having a hardware issue with overheating litecoin miners. where is the first place they would go to? the bitcoin forum or litecoin?

sorry to say but your "awesome" fix only really applies to litecoin miners where the psu is housed inside the unit. all the new bitcoin miners use external psus and dont have to worry about the heat generated from the psu as they are external. therefore you post only applies to the altcoin section and thus has been placed in the correct section quit bitching. take your bought account and go back to the litecoin forum where people actually care about fixing scrypt miners that are outdated.

In this case, it relates indirectly, since, according to you, the issue discussed was the PSU that is connected to a scrypt miner. As such it can't go into Hardware since the board isn't "Hardware", it's "Bitcoin > Mining > Hardware". Hardware is just used since it's shorter and to most regular users - self-explanatory.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's take a look at the board it was moved to "Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Mining (Altcoins)", or more widely known as just "Mining (Altcoins)". The "(Altcoins)" part is used to clarify that this is for altcoin-related matters to those that came to the page directly and not from the homepage. Like any other website, the site will naturally have a few minor flaws but I do believe the moderators genuinely care about their users. Not as much as they should, but just enough. There are some things that I feel should be fixed, like the ban evasion issue, and so on. I harvested a nice legendary account for two friends of mine that got banned a while back. Both accounts have no negative trust or anything like that. I had actually posted a thread about ban evasion and that something should be done, and the moderators pretty much ignored me.



I was suggesting that was the OK to proceed in brininging my banned friends back on BitcoinTalk for an inconspicuous second chance to not upset the community.


To be honest, I don't know the point of banning people or negatively impacting somebody's trust rank if they're just gonna come back on VPN every single time until they "get it right". That's why I also offerred to make a new and improved blocking feature so you can't even see when a person you have blocked is posting in your threads, or when they make a thread because the gray titles basically highlight their threads.
