What is Max amount of btc you owned once, and where did you spent these?

I once owned around 3 BTC when price was 230. Never have had more than 1 BTC now price is 600ish,

I've never invested a lot of money in bitcoin, though I keep intending to.  I think 1.2 btc is all I ever had at any given point and I think I soldthat to buy stocks or something. 

This is actually an interesting question that I'd like to hear answers from, from some of the older members.

since this is an IRS attartor kind of post i never answer these questions :D

why would you want to know that?

i have not owned a whole 1 bitcoin yet because i keep buying and selling it regularly. once i had a maximum of around 0.9 btc and yes i spent it or say i exchanged it from an online exchanger. i use bitcoin just to get some extra money for my living and have fun with it. i dont feel safe to store my bits in my wallet for a long time.

i have arround 6btc, i lose 3btc at my wallet, someone hack my email, and lose at huobi arround 1,7btc :(
it's very bad time for me, now im never hold more than 1btc , i withdraw my bitcoin to local currency for make my earning save.

If I remember right, I owned 186 Bitcoins back in 2011 when I first get in touch with Bitcoin. When the price hit $11 I sold most. I spent the rest for a VPS one year plan. I really thought at that time that Bitcoin is totally overvalued  :D After sale and a price crash back to around $4, I lost the interest on Bitcoin. I came back to Bitcoin in autumn 2013 and started with 0 Bitcoins again  ;D

maximum bitcoin i have owned is 5 btc and i have it in the last year and most of my bitcoin i spend it for gambling, loss on bitcoin and altcoins trading, convert into my local exchange and also got scam by ponzi sites

I had 80btc years ago that I sold on trade hill for around $2 each

likewise with LTC, had 18000 that I mined from day one and sold for around $150  :o

About month ago,i had 6 bitcoins at one moment.
I got payout from few investments,and i was also managing my friend's funds,he gave me about 3 btc.
It was really fun :D

Maximum amount of bitcoins I owned once in a single wallet were 2BTC and I am still holding them, I will spend them after the reward halving when price become stable.

Wow that must be so damn efuriating. I have never been near 80. I have been in 2 figures and now im trying to get back to it because I was an idiot and tried to short Bitcoin instead of holding and just ended up losing money.

The biggest amount once I owned it was 5 BTC into last year when price was around $240, when I was very stupid and lost all on different gambling sites to make them double and it was very bad decision ever I made in my life.

Those are the choices that you make. At the moment you decide to sell, you are happy with your decision.

He could always have bought back when the price was showing signs of going higher and having more legroom and I guess that is also what happened as he is still around.

Well i think this is my unlucky day.I had 0,03 and did 0,15 from it while gambling,but it just happened so fast...
I lost all of it actually,i was doing safe plays but anyway it got busted.Remember,safe way isnt the best way actually,anyway gambling-not worth it.

Before almost 3 btc owned since 2015 when the price is low i just spend it before in gambling that i thought that i can easily make a profit there while halving fun with the game..

I only have 0.5 bitcoin, and then I use the money only for trading purposes. Bitcoin and only use a few times to buy phone credits. Hehe Im  not the rich man.

Maybe you are not rich.
But with bitcoin you can change it,if you already have 0,5  bitcoin,you have really many ways to make it more!

I have never owned a btc only satoshi. The max earning I own is 0.2 in my wallet which i lost in gambling overnight. I do hope to get a hold of 1 btc but i continuosly converting my satoshi to cash for my daily needs. In the future I really want to get hold of at least 1 btc or more. It is my target at this moment If only I am not short in my daily needs then I will have a btc sooner.

I owned 0.08 btc and i earned that from sports-betting sites and that is also the max amount i owned ever in bitcoin. I spend it all-in from a sport hoping that i will win again. I earned that 0.08 btc with just a starting fund of 0.002 and betting all-in repeatedly until i earned that 0.08. But when i bet that 0.08 in just a couple of minutes i lost it. I wished i didn't got greedy that time.

i am poor and i have never had big amount of money to invest in bitcoin so i only hold less than 0.1BTC at all times.

i had maximum 0.1 btc , i had collected all those by faucet sites , some of the amount i used it for mobile bill paying and rest of them converted to fiat money to buy groceries , it is an good experience that with bitcoin i am able buy things also   :)

I only once owned a 0.07BTC I won in spark that time the price was still $240 or something like that back in 2015. but I list to obtain at least 1BTC or so on my bucket list.

I had once 0.4 bitcoin i earned it from investment program in fb and later on became scam. good thing i got all my money and had earnings from it. i convert it in fiat and spend it.

Yeah,you are getting posts every day so you have chosen good way to earn 1 btc.
Just invest the money you get from sig campaining,or loan them to trust-worthy people.U can also trade to generate income.

Once, I made 6.5 BTC from just 0.1 BTC through dicing.

It only took 2 days and i felt like a god.

Then i lost it after losing 22 times in a row (progressive betting) at 49.5% chance

not much , but i remember that i owned 17.3BTC once and i lost them over directbet , tha's all , now i have handful of bitcoins which i keep on trading , some fractions i get from signature campaign. i wish if i havent made that bet.. :(

I've only ever had just over 1BTC.  I keep trying to save it, but I always end up spending it at Purse.io.  I've been trying to save back up to 1 BTC again.  That was my goal to have 1 BTC when the halving happens.  I just barely made the goal!

I can remember i used to have more than 1btc when price was around 400$ but i don't remember where i have spended them. Right now i own quite less than that, willing to sell when price will get pumped rather than selling under 700$.

I was given 10BTC but i couldn't use most of it for my persona gain. It was a project where are payed players in a minecraft server to learn about bitcoin and earn as they mined blocks and built structures. The project ended a year back and some players actually donate to me for the server to continue running even though they dont receive pay. From the donations, the highest i got was 0.3BTC.

The maximum amount of BTC ever is what I own right now, which is in the low double digits. I will try to save most if not all of them, and add wherever and whenever possible

I have Max amount of btc once was 5,my friend give 5 btc as gift at 2009 when price $1300 at 2012 I was finding my wallet but I could not find my wallet lost all my coin.at 2015 I was again start trading bitcoin.till now I never reach 1 btc once.

Maybe only 1 BTC in total address i've owned, i'm never keep a lot BTC. I use trading half and half I used to purchase digital goods such as vps or rdp.

I remember once i have approximately 4btc which i almost made from betcoin.tm gambling site. and i menaged to withdraw them from the site, [if you have encountered this site you will have the idea how difficult to get withdrawals from this site] and yes i menaged to get withdraw my all btc. Than i withdraw them to fiat money back in when the price was @500$ after reading an article on coindesk i thought this is the max price of btc, but i was wrong  :'(

I have around 3.3 coins, i am working my way to 4 by posting useless stuff in this forum. Although Bitcoin halving not yet happening, my income from signature campaign already halved.

I had about 300 way back, when they were few buck's a pop. I wasn't planing on selling them, but my trades were terrible and i lost a large amount bit by bit until
i got the hang of it. Sadly, after that things didnt get a lot better, and i missed the boat to ATH, but still got a nice figure after all, even tho it was a lot smaller.

I heard about btc on a podcast in 2011, after that i started to solo mine btc and found 2 blocks a week apart from each other. Then mined on btc guild for year+ and got 14 off there. Then i found out about butterfly labs.. and now i am broke.. only have 6 left :(

I never had more than 1 BTC during this time, it was always discharged for gambling so badly i always lose when i put my money in gambling.

Well I hope you learned a valuable lesson from that... most people waste the BTC they do get on gambling and it's a very bad choice to waste it on gambling. I think Bitcoin gambling should be

regulated a bit more to stop people from going overboard, when they do use their BTC on these gambling sites. The regulated casinos do offer services to help gamblers who develop a problem. There

are so much more you can do with that money.  :(

For a community full of bitcoin enthusiasts not very many people in here actually holds any significant amount of bitcoin, im not an exception to this rule either. I think ive only seen one person so fay that has an amount that could be classed as significant. the most bitcoin ive ever had is what i still have which is still not enough. Does everyone just cash out once they get near 1 bitcoin or what?

For now i own 2 btc as of now this is my max for now because i spend some of my bitcoins in blogging buy domain and hosting it in blogspot.. start my own blog about bitcoin and other related in computer.. for extra knowledge how to generate a traffic..

I bought my first whole BTC from Coinbase for $111.00

I held it until it hit $1100.00, then spent most of it on coins to sell.

At one point I was a BTC thousandaire!

Arround 10 BTC... I have spent Bitcoin, for Example to different Initial Coin Offerings!  ;)

max amount of bitcoin I've ever owned is 0.035 BTC. I just earn from signature campaign. and I got that amount a few weeks later.

I spent them to buy books and some daily needs.

At different times had various amounts also using multiple wallets, but never had more than 1 bitcoin at a time, spending them right after receiving them :D
Also lost to HO the scammers.

A metric which makes sense to me is 'bitcoin-days'.  Kind of the same transform that astronomers use when they measure distance in 'light-years'.  In steady-state (which is unusual in a 'broken clock' sort of way) someone who owned a 'bitcoin-day' of Bitcoin would effectively command the value of all of the mining datacenters work for a day.  The recent halving resulted in everyone who is hodling doubling their wealth in this metric.

Anyway, ya, I know I didn't answer the question.  I find it a stupid question to both ask and to answer.

Where are the folks with a lot of coins? Do they still hang out here? Maybe they laughed their way to bank and went out enjoy their lives now? I think quite likely they got a wife and live a miserable life now.

The maximum amount which I was have in the past was about 1.25 BTC and I have now some amount of them and waiting for the price increase which will happen soooner, while the remaining I invest to start my business, I hope I will get success in that business.

I had just a measly 0.05 btc from using faucets for a long time. I sold them for df creds.

I never have 1 btc or even just half of it. But i get in the range if 0.2 , yeah I guess its so small.
But someday I will have 1btc but not right now ;D

The highest amount I ever owned was just over 170BTC in very early 2013. My average buying price at that time was around $20-$25 per coin. I sold the majority of my coins when the price started to come close to $100 back in the days.

Wow that is a pretty high amount, I must say that you cannot do this anymore right now if you had wait a bit longer you even could have been a millionaire.
The largest amount of bitcoin I every had in my life was around the 45BTC.

It's ok, mainly because as you also say, not many people thought the price would go up that much. And back at that time I was only interested in making profits. The technology aspect of Bitcoin was just not where my focus was.

I owned about 0.2BTC several months ago. Yeah it's not big amount because I never invest my real money into bitcoin and I have known about bitcoin in 2013 but I started to learn bitcoin in 2015. That time the price was $300 and I thought it's better to spend it. I spend my bitcoin into many things like steam wallet and my phone bills. The last thing was cloudmining. I spent half my bitcoin into cloudmining so I only have 0.06BTC at this moment.

Max amount I've owned is more or less 0.25 BTC. I still have it and am profiting from it, so basically my max amount is increasing steadily.

I owned only 0.50 Btc max when the Rate was 530+ $....

hahahahah. you have to be specific when you say you owned. Because I have that incident that I obtain a 1.2 Bitcoin in my account in one of the popular dice sites, I have them in my account cause I am so lucky  but then after a few minutes, while playing the dice sites, my account suddenly logout and when I logged in again, my balance turned into 0 and it is really shocking. i just found out in my transactions that I sent a tip to an account in that site which I did not actually do.

i think that is some thing personal to ask from some one. but for you i can tell you that a good amount of bitcoin. i am satisfied from my earning. and still i am holding it for price increase. and not using it.

hmm..272 is really a big amount to me and person owning such a big amount won't risk to get into cloud mining i think ! :-\ but if if really invested in it can i know which cloud mining service you used ?

Interesting story, at least you made a ROI of x4 - x5, i like your courage buying lots of bitcoin at that time. My maximum amount of bitcoin i had at once was 1BTC but it didn't last long.

IMO this is very private information and ought 2 be kept as such.

The max amount that i own is 0.15 and i just got it from signature campaign and as of now i'm keep holding that huge amount and keep hoping for the price of bitcoin to rise up to $1k and also i'm hoping for my bitcoin to grow more by the help of altcoin trading.

Not many people in the bitcoin community are actually holding a lot of bitcoins. I am guessing most of the people here are holding under 5 coins. I would group myself with them since I don't hold more than 5 coins myself because I do not have exact amount of my bitcoins as I have different wallets and some in cold storage too :p

One of the addresses I own currently has 210 BTC in it and number 70xx on the Bitcoin Rich List. So the max amount I've owned is at least 210 BTC and I have not spent any of this stash.  ;D

Why are there so many people who have owned a max of not even 1 bitcoin, been around here for more than a year and have like 500 comments?? Btw someone asked why no one here is disclosing they own 1000+ bitcoin and its because it makes them a target. We more or less know many/ possibly most of the people that own that much from the early days anyway. The new investors who are buying in large amounts arent ever going to divulge their identity or how much they own.

actually i never count the amount i won on a special day. i am just taking it as a business or a job. although i cannot depend of bitcoin for living but still i can say that i can give me some support. so i will like to say that may i will have won 1 bitocin in a day or more but i never count it.

I count my btc every week and see if i was able to increase it or lost. If i lose I make sure to be more passive the next week.
Because it' about increasing your money.

170 BTC worth $4250 in 2013 would be worth $110500 which is such a big amount to even imagine. That's what bitcoins can do for us and make us rich in no time. But still to buy $4250 worth coins 3 years ago wouldn't have been possible for me and probably I would have had 10-25 BTC max. It's also the risk of selling such a huge amount online which can attract taxes. The biggest amount I have ever had was 1.5 BTC last month.

Such a big amount of bitcoin but where do you spend those bitcoin do you get the benefits of those bitcoin right now or you spend it for nothing.. if you sell those right now you can be millionaire in some countries.. its a huge money and it can affect the value of bitcoin if you sell that amount of bitcoin..

I once owned  1.5 btc  and i spent them on Clothes, albums, games and unfortunately i converted some of them to real cash which wasn't such a good idea .

This time I bought back in between $250-$300, have waited a year, so can sell without capital gains tax, but have no plans to sell.

I was into bitcoins in the year 2013 but I had just begin to earn coins worth 0.001-0.01 and there weren't many ways to earn them. I just could buy them online as not many traders used to sell coins or buy goods as they do now. That time I held max 0.05 and currently I have 0.75 BTC that's the max I have ever owned.

I had like 10 bitcoins in 2013 and got out when the price was 900$ or more. I am very glad i did that trade. After that time i never hold more than 1btc because volatiliy seemed too dangerous to me.

Sometimes i sell some stuff and get the payment as btc but i usually sell them just after i get them.

Back then that was much more. Today i hold around ~35 BTC. When the price was 300ish I held 52 bitcoin.
I hope to get there before the next pump, but looking at todays market I think I have plenty of time. Don't expect another pump in at least 5 months.

I think 21 BTC is a respectable bag.

The biggest ammount i had earned, were just 0.06btc daily from a game, i had withdraw around 1.22btc from it, on that i were able to buy and sell hash as well sell rigs, soo i could invest into something like virtual mining and i were doing amazing income as it worked with cryptospots an crypto coin.

1.6 btc is not a small amount to loose. if I were have that it would solve my lots of problems honestly.

You are thinking that because bitcoin price right now is high. but I don't think that time it wasn't a good Idea. people earn bitcoin for their needs and they definitely cashout them.

Wooow. You must know that 14000 BTC is now worth more than $9 million. If I were you I would cry everyday that I once had such fortune in my grasp but I sold it cheap.
But if you still have more than 518 BTC ($334.000 now) it is more that I ever earn - as my total 'fortune' is just couple BTC - which I have to sell to pay my living expenses anyway.

I think you live in a country that demands you to get a higher income. So every BTC you get is always out of stock used to pay rent and utility bills in your life. I hope you can do better than the funds you've got to do the way that could fold duplicate btc you got

i earned only in signature campaign and i do not know how much i already earn from it because i actively spend bitcoin if i have something to pay or to buy in online. but i assume that my max reach bitcoin is almost 1 bitcoin and up.

I had at most ~5BTC. I trade my coins usually but I have not restocked my supply of coins just yet. I am not sure whether the price is going to increase or going to fluctuate. I am just feeling it out for now. I just hope that everything that we had expected from the halving is actually going to be true.

I have currently 0.05 BTC in my wallet, which is the highest so far.
And total I've spent ever since is another 0.05 BTC. So 0.1 BTC is the total that has gone through my hands.

I owned maximum 2 BTC in the year of 2015 and that was an amount I earned from signature campaigns and tasks that I kept completing for over 8 months. The price was about $250 and now this amount is nearing $1300 and I am still holding my bitcoins.

It's weird if you look back at how the price has been going up throughout the years. In 2013 I was used to buy my coins at around $20-$25, and in the same year it was normal to buy coins at around $100-$150, and look now, if the price drops to $600 it is considered to be a cheap price and people start buying directly. Perhaps after 3-5 years we look back at the current price as being just peanuts compared to the price at that time.

You were lucky to use the winnings, I also once won not big but around 0.21 bitcoins when price was around 300$ and unfortunately I just busted it without even keeping those with me for a week. It took me just  days to loose all , that too because I always bet small.

There are many traders on this forum and not everyone holds a big amount as 1 BTC as if the price drops by $100, they will be be instantly in loss of $100 which is still a big amount for many here. Only those who owned bitcoins when the price was $5-$30 must have had 1000+ bitcoins and the treasurers here do have amounts of over 250 BTC.

Interestingly I also have a similar fairy incident like story with cloudbet, I bet around 0.07 bitcoins I somewhat remember on a tennis match between federer and someone , I really do not remember who it was and the odds were like 5.xx and then happily I WON :)

Nice to see, because given that you are so new and having won 0.5 btc is very nice for you :) . I wish you just did not ruined it and used it for some constructive purpose or activity. Because most of people here are somehow managing to get some decent of bitcoins but failed to grow it in a proper way.

The highest amount I ever owned was 16 BTC. I have sold 3 BTC around the $750 level just recently. Now I still hold 13 BTC but I will hold it for the long term now.

Are we allowed to include paper profits? That would make a for a fun read from the alt dabblers. Some people must've creamed their knickers when their pet coin went through the roof only to find it did it on $50 volume.

That was a superb idea in my opinion, what would you had done if you not used them ? Do not know for you but I would have wasted those too in gambling and then chased it to recover but I was never successful with my attempts and made more and more loss only.

In my case 0.58 BTC somewhere in april 2013. At this moment a few satoshi, although I've got some alts what are worth roughly around 0,4 BTC at this point. Gotta admit I've been neglecting crypto lately with no efforts undertaken to earn some Bitcoin nor active trading on exchanges.

My max amount was 1.5 BTC. Sold 0.5 when I was desperately needing cash. I'd better didn't do that, Bitcoin was $260 at the time, but life is life. I'll try to just hold my BTC in the future.

I have 3 btc in my wallet which I have saved for the future and the earning from campaign is spent online either in buying something or in gambling.

The max amount of btc i once owned is 5 Bitcoin way way back when its price is still cheap. I spent it in gambling site never thought that the price will be like this like today. I should have kept it all back then.

Yes if you would be holding that high amount at a moment then you would have earned more profits in compare to gambling at this stage.

for me i do not get 1 bitcoin since i start earning with this but i think i already collect 0.3 satoshi and i already spend it in my utility bills and top up my mobile and if have excess i exchange it to fiat and buy sum stuff.

wow! I got envied to some of the member here who owned a bitcoin especially to 80btc a years past. Because in my experience the highest bitcoin I owned just recently happened was 0.48btc which I Got it in trading you know trade high then buy at low until I noticed I reached 0.48btc. Probably i had bought around 0.02 btc for the very first time then i bought around 0.06btc but after losing in scam sites  I have around 0.03 btc and v still I think that bitcoin can give back my loosed money so I trust bitcoin and I m still working hard to get back my money.

You have managed to save good amount of coins mate, and with  that high amount you can surely multiply your coins quickly in altcoin trading and you can achieve your goal pretty soon.

The maximum I got was around 20ish which is just last year and I sold it off when bitcoin's price was about $670. Im sorry  to hear that  you lost your bitcoin in a same way you earned it.  I hope you have learned your lesson on not gambling too much and have discipline or self control next time.  As of me I the max bitcoin I own is around 0.7 BTC.   I was saving it to have a whole btc but then i needed to enchash it for some reason.  Now am back to square 1.

I did have around more than 1 btc but then I invested it in a site that I thought was legit because they said that its paying and legit so the newbie me immediately invested what I have and its true I receive a portion of what I invested everyday until such time when the site went offline. People were panicking and worried because they can't access the site and so am I. That's the time I promise myself never to invest in a site anymore that promises high returns without even proof where they got their money in paying its investors. It's just a big ponzi scheme after all.

I am not sure whether investments in altcoins can be considered as scams. Had you profited out of your investment, then you won't be complaining. I agree that most of the altcoins are of the pump-and-dump type. You need to dump them at the right time. Personally, I have made investments in altcoins. Some of them were profitable, and some were not. LTC gave me profit, while TRC and Quark disappointed me.

We cannot expect to make profits every time with altcoins, as there are many shit coins available which can disappear quickly, so we need to be very careful before investing in it.

You are right , there are many altcoins  as  of today and some  do launched  in every 2 weeks or even a month. Its quite risky to invest  especially on ICOs because of some  circumstances which devs ran off the money that they accumulate.  I do also being scammed with altcoin which i  purchased about 1btc and  suddenly dump for   hours and  i alsmot lost 70% of my investment, luckily ive decided  to sell while  its going down.

People believes that they can double their coins with altcoin in quick time, but they forget the fact that it may take away all your investments even in a single day if you choose wrong coin.

Wow! I wish i could have that much bitcoins one day, the maximum amount i had wasnt more than 0.5btc and that i also cashed out for some personal reason, and starting again to accumulate.

I am also earning some decent amount of bitcoins regularly with my trading and signature campaign, still I'm unable to consolidate toward a big amount of bitcoin as I do spend it time to time for my daily life needs. Moreover, I do not have count on how much bitcoin I had earned totally so far.

You should always keep an record of your earnings, so that you can be aware what more action you need to take or what improvements you need to earn more bitcoins in future.

I think you should have saved those coins for the future and should have made purchases using fiat or credit card, no doubt as a user of bitcoins we should spend them but we cannot ignore that its also an investment to us.

Save your earnings from signature campaign and once you have reached to a descent capital then invest them in altcoins and start trading and over a period of time you will achieve that milestone.

Poloniex is the most trusted site at a moment for trading altcoins, but we need to be very careful as we never know when it will run away, so its better to withdraw profits regularly.

For now i never had a big amount i own but maybe soon i'll have that big amount of bitcoin like you guys. And i still hoping for that amount today and all i want is hard work to achieve that. Then if that will happen i will the things i want  :)

I hope that you can achieve your goal to have higher amount in your wallet in future but make sure that you don't go for gambling to have that high amount or else you will end up loosing your existing coins too.

First of all, never leave your coins in any exchanges no matter how good and trusted that site is. Mt.Gox plus Cryptsy gave us a clear idea why it's never recommended to leave our coins in exchanges, finish the trades and withdraw immediately after that.

And before that Mt Gox was the biggest cryptocurrency exchange and later Bitfinex  - and they both failed. Without proper safeguard no exchange is 100% safe.

Well i agree :D If you want to gamble be sure that you dont send your all money on the site for the safety just used small amount of your money then if you are win or make it double or triple then its a good news but if you loose dont ever ever invest again it could cost you a lot of that.

But why to invest even a small amount on gambling even when you are aware that you will loose in it, its better to save that bitcoin for future without using them in gambling.

I had around 1 BTC or fractions less than that few months ago, Did invest in some altcoins and lost a big portion of it and had around 0.3 btc after the coin fell in price.

0.5 btc is not too small amount to consider, in fact I believe that its an perfect capital to invest in altcoin trading as you can make descent profits from it if you have invested in a right coin.

If you invested the 1 bitcoin into Ethereum 10 months ago, then use the proceed to invest in Monero, you are rich.

I guess both the ETH and XMR is a good investment now because the price is currently low and we have a good chance to get better profit when the price rises in the near future, with ETH, the trend is very predictable as it does not fall back lower than 0.018 nowadays so the current price is a good buy.

Depends on when you got into it, Before it was a great investment but that might not be the case anymore, can only look at the price to see what's the case.

i dont have alot btc, but i never had 0.5 btc when the price at $200-$300. I have been pension 1 year, and now only have about 0.1 btc. Fyi I got It for free.

it doesn't really matter whether or not you can manage to reach the 1btc mark in a reasonable amount of time. what matters is that you are happy with the number of coins that you have. and if you managed to get them for free, then it must feel even better. ;) most important thing is to never force yourself to reach a certain amount. especially if you can't afford it. that's where a lot people go wrong.

Yeah and if you get greedy then there is a full chance that you will end up loosing everything that you have so its better to move on safely and find steady and secure way to earn bitcoins.

Having  the  target on a particular game is always recommended  because you would surely stop if you reach   situation which you are already gaining profit.  Stop on a  particular time and securing profits would  always be a good move but there are really people who are  greedy for more money.

I had around 0.5BTC few weeks ago but i have exchanged it few to fiat and invested few in some alts. And the coin i have invested is getting hard dump so i have lost around 25% of what i have invested there.  >:(

The maximum or largest amount of bitcoins that I owned was 20 btc, and I sold most of it when the price peaked at $670+. I accumulated most of it by shelling out a portion of my paycheck and buying bitcoins heavily when it's still at $200. Right now I'm doing the same, but the price is quite high on my profit margin and I'm halting it for the mean time.

Wow 20 btc is a huge amount to have in wallet and its good that you sold them and secure the profits, I had 5 btc and I sold them at $750 level before the halving and bought again when the price crashed after bitfinex  hack.

I get into bitcoin really late so haven't got oppurtunity to grab 1 bitcoin till now and that is my first target. I think max i have once is 0.10BTC and right now what i have is way lower than that.

I think that the most amount of Bitcoin I have ever owned at once was something like 0.15 BTC, however right now I'm kind of getting close to that limit and I might end up surpassing that amount relatively soon. It just depends on what my real-life commitments require.

For once, i had 88 bitcoin after save it for years. But, i spend lot of it for video games at steam when there's summer sales and i bought some books from amazon with expensive shipping fees.

I someday used to own around 3BTC, not a big deal but still honest when you bought not a single pence and earned it all. It then got invested and then brings me some nice profits ;D !

i had once bought only 0.025 btc. i had bought this much bitcoin to invest in cloud mining site but unfortunately that site ran away within 1 week and all my money went in water.

I ever have 0.23 btc few months ago. That amount is my max amount btc once i have. But don't spend it in one action. I use little by little amount of it to complete my necessary that i need subject books because i am still learning in college.

I once had 30 bitcoins to my name, I made 12 bitcoin in one coin ipo from investing 1 bitcoin but never had any luck like that since. Now my gross bitcoin holdings are around 1.2 bitcoin in investments so am trying to slowly grow those. In a month I can earn money from the signature campaign and trade around 0.23 BTC. I do not spend it all because I prefer to keep it to my savings in my bank account. Perhaps if there were some new needs I use.

I think that's a really good amount to earn on monthly basis and its also good to save them for the future without spending them as it will holding more value in future.

Trading is a good source to earn some money, but sigmature campaigns can not make money like that per month alone. Saving is a good idea

Yeah the payouts in signature campaign are limited and the days are gone when we used to earn 0.1 btc per week from signature campaign so to increase our earnings we need to take help from trading.

Signature campaign payouts overall have gone down, but due to the higher price, people that only care about the $ value of these coins won't notice much. But yes, if you have enough experience in trading, then it can become quite a decent way of generating extra profits.

Absolutely, and we cannot depend only on signature campaign to earn bitcoins as we all know that earnings from it are temporary as it can disappear at any point we need to have a permanent income and that is possible with trading.

th maximum amount of bitcoin once i had 14.6 bitcoins i usually do trad in alt coins and it give me a good profit, i also earn from signature campaign but it is not such a good amount.

14.6 btc is already a good amount dude, and you should be satisfied with it and earnings from signature campaign is adding more value to your wallet and if you manage to save them then it can reach to descent level in future.

Humans has not satisfaction as otherwise we are not here, we are here because we are looking for an opportunity to increase our earnings and I will tell you that once you will achieve your first goal you will still do things to ask for more, that is why sometimes we are too greedy because we want to have more and more.

And that leads in loosing our money in long run as we are never satisfied with what we have, and sometimes we may even choose shortcuts to earn quick money which will bring loss for us.
