how do you verify the game wasn't rigged each round?  I'm a little unclear how to check it with the given data.

After you start a game, it will show the SHA256 hash of the game data. This is to prove that the game data doesn't change and has been pre-chosen before you start your way through the minefield.

At the end of the game, the game data will be shown, and you can then find out the SHA256 hash of this game data (by pasting it into a site like http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator for example).

If that hash matches the hash given on the site, you can be sure that the game data was not manipulated in any way, proving a fair game.

I won a 50 LTC bet all the way to the end but it refuses to pay out -_-

What do you mean "it" refuses? Physical payouts are being done manually at the moment (as mentioned on the withdrawal page). Was your account balance credited?

Also, if you got all the way to the end, did you still click the "Take bet * 6" button?

p.s. I've checked the database and the only 50 LTC bet to have made it "all the way to the end" actually hit the mine on the last row.

It sits there after you hit payout and never does anything except show bombs in the bets you haven't made it to.

Kinda ruins it and it feels almost intentional. Not making an accusation but this needs to be fixed.

I saw similar things when I was playing.  I was only using .1-1LTC though.  But frequently it felt like the 'game' didn't reset properly, hence the lack of sha256 game data.  Which prevented payouts from occurring, but didn't seem to prevent bets from being taken out of the balance at the same time.  Not good. 

Awe, and here I thought I could earn (L)500/week working from home as a suicide bomber.

That screenshot tells me there were no mines at all... meaning it did not initiate a game in the first place. Best I can do is refund the 50 LTC and investigate further.

Most times when this occurs, it automatically refunds the bet amount to the balance. In techshare's case, I'll have to investigate why this (supposedly) didn't happen.

Was automatically refunded for 1 game when the system detected that the game was not initiated properly.

So the "Game refund" that is meant to occur when the game does not initiate with mines did actually occur and your balance is reflecting as it should.

If you want me to post more detailed database records (timestamps?), I can do that.

This is also a good point. In Techshare's screenshot, it is still showing the game data from the previous game, in which he clicked through with a completely different path.

The most likely cause of this is the server not reaching random.org properly or getting nothing back from the cURL. I'll look at this today and see if I can get a more reliable source of random numbers, or grab them more efficiently.

What is your User ID please? When you were playing the game, did it show a SHA256 hash at the bottom of the page? And did mines show up on the playing board?

Perhaps you could tell me specifically which bet amounts you think you weren't credited for.

 Don't you think you should debug gambling software before you publish it? If your system says I only played 4 games it is wonky as hell because I played way more. Thanks for letting me know to avoid it in the future. If anyone else has this problem PM me and we will get it sorted as a group.

BTW did you happen to notice that my withdrawal was 71 LTC, yet my bet was 50? I placed no more bets after that one. If it was refunded, and the bet amount is withdrawn from the total when the bet is placed, why wasn't my total withdrawn 121 LTC? You can continue to deny your code has errors and fix it, or just watch no one use it ever and cry about it. Up to you.

At the time of your screenshot, your balance was 71, then two entries went into the database - one for -50 LTC (your bet) and another at exactly the same time for +50 LTC (the automatic refund), leaving your total balance at 71 LTC.

If you're so sure that you're right, then why so afraid for me to show everyone the actual records here?

By the way, I said "4 games @ 50 LTC" not 4 games total, so in that regard you fail at reading comprehension.

There is still an occasional issue with the game not initializing properly, but this can easily be seen at the bottom of the screen where it shows the SHA256 hash - If you start a game, and the hash shows as blank, then you're safe to refresh the page or just try clicking one of the bet options again. Any games where this happens, the bet amount is automatically refunded to your balance and you're not charged for it. If in doubt, play the free game for a while first. Any problems at all, just let me know your User ID and I can see exactly what's happened and sort it out for you.

LTC deposits should show up after 1 confirmation. This is currently relying on a 3rd party API, so it depends on when that confirmation is added to their data.

I think this is still an issue with hitting random.org with too many requests, but I've worked out a far more efficient way of doing this now.

Please check the sha256 hash of the game, which proves the outcome cannot be manipulated.

If you hit a bomb, you can paste the game data into a sha256 calculator such as http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator and then check that hash against the one that was given on the game screen. If the hashes match (and they will), that means the game data (and position of the mines) was pre-determined before play and was not altered.

The game has no way of knowing which square you're about to click.

Played a bunch of times with no coins and usually get to the third row with no bombs. Made it to the end a few times. Shame i didnt put down 100 LTC on each of those good runs :P

This isn't working. IE10 seems to have issues with it, I can consistently hit Bet .1 LTC and the same game board shows up, but nothing ever credits/changes.

The game in your screenshot is showing as a FREE game which was not charged for, and why it was subsequently not credited for.

Then the 2nd game that you were charged 0.1 for was never played.

So I've refunded your account with the 0.1.

I suggest trying in Chrome or Firefox if you want to keep playing. I will have to take a closer look at how it's going under IE.

The first game says Current Bet: 0.1, that wasn't a free game? The 2nd game was the same screen there, with the page refreshed. I'll wait until some bugs are worked out before I play again, but it looks very addicting (could be bad for me =p)

Hi, the game from your screenshot (looked up via the game data and random string) shows as 0.00000000 with winnings 0.00000000. I confirmed in your transaction history that no money came out for that game. The second game you were charged 0.1 for, but as I said that one never marked as completed... looks like you lost connection before it could be played. So that's the one I refunded for. Thanks for the feedback anyway, will get more time for improvements this Friday and weekend.

Apache logs show that the GET requests which initiated the two 5 LTC games came from the same IP address as that which created user 7020 in the first place.

If it was 'someone else', that someone was using your computer/router.

On a side note, importing addresses into litecoin from liteaddress.org is a real pain. This time I did it the other way around - I created a wallet first using litecoin-qt and dumped all the addresses from it - 1000x faster than trying to build up a wallet.dat from scratch from a huge list of private keys.
