Hello everybody! This is a follow up to the Announcement of the IoP Token: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1678165.0 As you can read in the Announcement, we are building a big community to spread the vision of Fermat and build the Internet of People. And we have great news for you! You can start mining now! Everybody who is contributing to Fermat can get a mining license. It is like Bitcoin in the early days. You can mine propably 10-50 IoP Token just with a 24/7 normal i7 Computer. So in your case it may go down to 1-10 IoP. 2.) technical skill are not needed. Have you ever used an Bitcoin Wallet? It is the same. just put in the IoP.conf your whitelisted Mining Address, dont turn the PC off and thats it. As IoPd only uses one CPU you can do all your work and maybe even do heavy gaming without a problem! 3.) BUT ANYBODY CAN START MINING IoP now, if he is doing something of Value for Fermat. For example, running a twitter channel. facebook page, etc... no technical skills needed. Not needed to setup chapter Individuals fill in the Spreadsheet by comments, ignore the Chapters Fields in the beginning, put in your name and the Link to your contribution and you are good to go. So if you have fun with Social Media or writing, claim your spot and we put your Wallet on a whitelist address and you can mine. From home, from your PC. It's really simple and your mining Licence will be valid as long as you keep your Signature on. To claim your Spot go under Forum Marketing on google sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BI2l4jPPmh0I2V2ePWLTgLJUpWPymdpQ1-E-qUEfpyQ/edit#gid=0) and add comments under your Country on required fields: Public Key (IoP address) and Sample Post Link (your BCT Profile).

Hi there, from today I am starting to track every second evening the mining spreadsheet and issue new mining licences ( aká whitelisting your public key) I will notice you in the comment field of your IoP Wallet Address once you are whitelisted. NOTICE If you claim more than 1 licence: For each claim you need to run a different IoP core wallet in a different folder on a different port. @truelibertine is making a howto video for this case, which will be published tomorrow. CHAPTER ALREADY SETUP IN YOUR COUNTRY? No problem! Team up with the Chapter Representative and join the Fermat Chapter in your country! You can still get a licence by one of the tasks listed in the doc. The Chapter will help you which spots are free (or you just connect to them and start doing your stuff). If there are problems, please let us know by Email or PM. In the beginning we are assisting a bit to get the things rolling, later this process will be opened up and fully automatic. I suggest you install x2go-server and it work, or you go for the IoPd. You probably want to take a bigger part in the Fermat Community, so please fill in the sheet (comment) from left to right as a new chapter depending on where you are from (which country do you live in?). we are currently at "window": 6, each window lasts for 2016 Blocks after that difficulty adjusts and new window starts. we have atm 26 active miners and average 45 blocks per miner. We are still at early stages and as things grow we expect average mining Cap per miner will go down to 5-10 IoP so its good time to start mining early.
