No, I wouldn't. If you're referring to the story of Abraham, if I remember correctly, it was said there that he attempted to kill his son because he was so afraid of god.
I'm not a religious person, but even If I were, the times have changed and people are no longer scared of the Old Testament god that was shown as a strict ruler and a being of power that liked to receive gifts in the form of sacrifices and didn't like when people worshipped other fake gods. This story wasn't really working out for the church in modern times.

Yes I would Kill them If God Asked. I'm not saying it will be easy taking the life of your own children. It is the most hardest thing to do. If God commanded me too, obviously I will be asking why, what is the reason why we need to kill our child. And even if he answers me, I will never do it. That is child, my flesh and blood, I will not kill him just like that,and if He is a real God that we know of,he will not command it to us. The God himself said that we need to mulitply.

I'm not too religious and maybe this could simply be playing a factor in all of this as I don't feel a large connection to God even though I do beleive he is there, this is just something that I couldn't do for him and he'd have to just take it and understand.

No. I'm not religious, but supposing God asked me to kill my son or kill anybody, I would not do that.

I have always helped people in need and i do not ask these people to do anything for me.

People help others and should not expect to be compensated for helping someone.

I think if there was a god, he should think so.

I would send God to hell! After all, these are my children and I have to protect them from death.

That would be very hard to decide since the bond between parents are strong and emotionally killing a child is like killing yourself. If I am being commanded by God and I have well verified clearly that it is God and not any one else I will make a bargain to take my life instead. As a parent my love for my child is strong and I cannot afford to let his life go out but I am not certain to what decision will I make in front of God.

No. The story of abraham may just be a story to test people's obedience. Realistically, there's no reason at all for me to even think of killing my children. If i have to go to hell for being disobedient, i'd gladly take that punishment than to listen to a god that would have such morbid instructions.

This is the problem with most religious groups, they tend to spawn sects and unfortunately not all of those can be called moderate. If God commanded me to kill my own children, I will do nothing but follow His command. If you read in the Bible, God tested Abraham to kill his own son Isaac as an offering to God. Which means he need to kill His son as an offering but when God saw He is willing to kill his son God stop him to kill his own son. Meaning, we are no different with Abraham in terms of obeying God's word.

There's no mix up. Think about it, if God ask you to kill someone, you only have two possible options to choose from, yes or no.
You either obey the command or you don't.

If you choose yes, then your saying "Yes God. I trust you completely and will follow through with your instructions. I have complete faith in you."
If you choose no, then your saying "No God. I don't trust you have made the correct decision. My decision in not doing your request is the correct one, so I know better."

There are many things happening in this world that require more attention and I think a god who would think of having sacrifices would be a bit egoistic.

I don't think God will ask a parent to do that to his/her child.  It is not a question of belief or faithfulness to God, I just can't see that this will happen. Having a child is one of the greatest feeling that a parent can have. Taking the life out of a child will not make any sense. So really, I see two options here. If my child is sent to Hell, there is absolutely no way I'm killing my child. I'd much prefer myself to suffer eternal damnation than my child. But if I was guaranteed that my child would go to Heaven in death, that would make things more sticky. I think the real question here is that would you sacrifice the thing you love most in this world for something that you truly believe in? You can change the variables here for love and belief as you want. Time and again I see some news story about a woman who killed her children because God told her to or because the voices in her head told her to. I'd like to make a note to self, that if I ever feel like God is telling me to kill my children, that's not a good idea. I don't really know that I believe in God these days, so it's hard to imagine this situation. There is only one situation I can imagine when it would kind of make sense. If one of my future children was threatening the health of my wife or one of my other children, perhaps it could the right thing to do. Other than that, I think it would be better to have God smite me down or kill me than to kill my own child.

I think that thing is not in 10 commandments instead you can see there that don't kill so i think if you heard that in your mind and not a god better to dont do what they said and i think they are not god and maybe they are satanism. so be careful for that because its a big sin..
