Why would you advertise your website on the same day you bring it down for maintenance? Wouldn't it be better to get it all spiffy and shiney, and then advertise?

That was terrible timing and coordination on my part. I got it all shiny now. Sorry for that brain fart.

Prices look good, just waiting to hear feedback before giving it a try. Will products be removed when sold out or do they get placed on a back order?

Guessing you probably selected an item weighing 10-12 lbs. I am currently working on getting better shipping rates for the heavier items.

How the F do you have ammo in stock?!?

It's not easy. Been getting hammered and it is actually getting hard to keep up.

Prices look good, just waiting to hear feedback before giving it a try. Will products be removed when sold out or do they get placed on a back order?

Going to be removing products as stock runs out.

Why are you charging tax?  I'm in Oregon, no sales tax ever paid on anything, ever.

Also, how do we know you're legit?  Can you post pictures of the ammo boxes you have in stock?  Can you release your address, name or at least registered business name?  Posting cheap prices on fake ammo these days would be a great way to scam a lot of people out of money...

I was getting errors on the checkout page where the shipping gets calculated
"Error : Packages must weigh more than zero pounds."

Also, you charge tax for out of state orders?

Fixed the weight issue and yes, at the moment, tax is based off Colorado.
Why are you charging tax?  I'm in Oregon, no sales tax ever paid on anything, ever.

Going to revisit the taxing and try to make it use state specific taxing. Didn't have that option at first. I will also get some pictures of the warehouse in a bit.

Depends on the gun you are trying to purchase. Handguns generally require special licenses whereas shotguns and rifles usually do not. Though I have none for sale online right now.

Apologies thought I clicked them all. The main address I own is that of the warehouse and I cannot release that. However, I do have a mail box at 1250 14th Street, Box #112, Denver, Colorado 80217. My real first name is Craig and I will be getting a copyright/incorporation within the week hopefully to protect my assets.

Have had about 8 successful orders so far and processing 4 more at the moment. They should be dispatched as soon as possible.

Great, thanks!

I think this will certainly get some more people interested in BTC if you continue to offer ammo well below the going price like this, and are able to stay mostly in-stock.

I'm very close to making a purchase, but I need something tangible to prove this is legit. Phone number of a live person? Photos of warehouse? Can some people post up some experience they've had with this vendor? Escrow sounds like a good idea...

Placed an order @ Bitmunitions.com for some Winchester M22 .22 Long Rifle 40-Grain 1000-Rounds.

I couldn't resist the prices I saw :o and not a bad selection either.

I really like the concept of purchasing ammo with bitcoins.

I hope this is a successful transaction, as I would like to purchase more ammo this way in the future.

Will update.

Cheers.

Took a leap of faith and placed an order over two weeks ago, haven't heard or received anything yet. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to the merchant and assuming that this new business is just working out the kinks. Can OP provide an update on how the initial orders are going?

Order 8951369358366

0.7597 BTC paid on 5/24/13 @ 01:22:24 GMT  "6eab95e70899b01411497c8cf2f04e059cfc30020eb87bcf52523f4474e944ef"

2 x Winchester M22 .22 Long Rifle 40-Grain 1000-Rounds

Have emailed multiple times, on here, on site and on twitter no reply's.

Guess I wasted some BTC? O well not the 1st time lol.

I knew it was to good to be true, but I like to gamble. No one can get 2000rnds of 22lr right now (nationwide shortage) for that price.

This http://ammofast.com/products/cci-sv-22lr-22-lr-standard-velocity-lrn-500-rnd-brick is the cheapest price online right now.

Site up since Apr 22 NO SOLID PROOF anywhere of a successful order.

Anyway will someone BAN this guy, we don't need scum like this poisoning the bitcoin community.

Cheers.

Some profiling:

A friend of mine has a great guide over at BitcoinSBS.wordpress.com that I would highly recommend checking out. He even has a book located on Amazon.

I have been around these forums for quite a while but finally got off my lazy chair and got an account set up and ready to go.

Just wanted to tell everyone hello and that I will be spending a good bit of time helping to contribute to the community by answering questions that I have learned in my experience with business + bitcoins + ammo!

Thanks,
Craig

(bitmunitions is an alt for someone who has been around for a while)

Haha. Trollbox archive! I love the BTC-e chat but, for the life of me, cannot figure out why everyone is so obsessed with Fontas!
(uses BTC-e chat often)

You could always exchange a large number of LTC to BTC at a decent price and send to a wallet or MTGOX for withdrawal. I have not heard much success of people funding BTC-E with USD or withdrawing effectively.

3) there are rumors MTGOX will get into the LTC business first quarter 2014.
(likely an LTC trader)

Seems like Slush's pool has been getting a lot of attention and getting attacked lately by these cyber-criminals. However, at this moment it seems to be operating fine, however the website is down for maintenance.
(slush miner?)

Ponzi schemes are actually a decent profit for the early adopters. Partially the reason a lot of news outlets were calling Bitcoin a ponzi scheme in the beginning.

Hell, some still do :/
(might be early adopter, 2011 vintage?)

Another guy who signs his name Craig in at least one post:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=19701.msg246342#msg246342
Another Craig:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=8902.msg129168#msg129168, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=21885.msg425757#msg425757
(first is more likely a match, with the valediction and comma in it, and improper capitalization by the second poster)

Bee's Brothers apparently have someone named Craig in their family.  Not a likely match - they have a successful business, no need to ruin their reputation?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=60863.msg798513#msg798513

Original Craig certainly has a propensity to offer businesses up.  Entrepreneurial type looking for money for sure.  Likelihood of match increasing... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=21189.0

Second Craig uses proper capitalization and a valediction with a comma.  But that's not his normal pattern: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=41764.msg510869#msg510869

Conclusion: Bitmunitions could be an alias account of user "Craig".  Most likely path of resolution seems to be through the friend with a published book.  Ask them if they know anyone named Craig who is in to Bitcoins.

It is registered using the privacy service at enom (surely a warning sign) and has cloudflare. Only answers to ports 80, 8080, 443, and 8443.
