Bitcoin doesn't have an expire date. Once mined, they live forever. Even if the private keys are not known, they still have a private key that could be used to "unlock" them.

There is no thing as FINAL BITCOIN

if it gets 1:1 with gold over $200,000 ; if not I'd be happy if it reaches $20,000 which is pretty likely somewhere in the future why not

Honestly, the final price of bitcoin is unknown.  There are several factors that influence bitcoin price and these factors keep on changing.  Like for example, the adoption of bitcoin in every country is increasing thus, this will give demand to bitcoin and increase the price.  But once the target price is reached by many holders, they, then sell bitcoin that will definitely make bitcoin price lower.  Bitcoin price will forever fluctuate so we cannot tell how much will the final BTC is.

The final bitcoin will be only mined in 2140 approximatelly. We have no idea how much bitcoin will price in more than 100 years, it can be pricing $100.000.000.00,00 or $0.01... Many events happen in one century.
If everything happens as bitcoin developers imagined, bitcoin will be pricing millions or billions of currently dollar, enough amount to circulate among all the persons of the world to transact online.

What is the FINAL BTC?

Is there some kind of end-price of this thing? I didn't think there was...

BTC will certainly not have a final destination regarding price . That's why we just set higher and higher steps for it to walk

Why not tell us that price of Bitcoin is uncertain, you don't need to give figure if you are unsure about the last price of bitcoin. 

I also think the the final price of bitcoin is unknown because as other stated, it is very volatile and the price keep changing since it is driven by people's demand.

Well to be totally honest, i think no one can tell how much will end price of bitcoin be. But i think that there will be a lot of fluctuation in bitcoin price before it settle down. If we take dollar as a foundation, i think bitcoin price will not go over 5000 dollars. But end price could be a lot less, but that depends on stability of dollar it self.

In 2140, who knows what the Bitcoin price will be. That's more than a hundred years from now!

Based on current growth of interest in Bitcoin, it would be hard to, within the next 10-20 years, for Bitcoin to become mainstream, the market cap will be equivalent to Gold's. The thing is, if Bitcoin comes up, something else must come down. In this case, probably gold.

I guess he meant by 'FINAL BTC' the last BTC being mined in 2140 with total 21Million coins in circulation, and with most important features of Bitcoin being implemented. But such a speculation is next to impossible to predict – we can't (correctly and exactly) speculate what is going to happen to BTC in the next month; yet you want us to speculate Bitcoin 123 years later...

Asking the "final" price of Bitcoin is useless unless you were talking about within a certain time frame. You may as well ask what the final value of USD, EUR, Dogecoin will be.

I think bitcoin can reach $5,000+ by next year. Perhaps it will reach millions in the next few decades, but we cannot know such things right now.

Its hard to predict since we cant know what technology can do,there might a grow in some altcoins ,so instead that all use btc ,it could be divide into othe alt. Since btc showing a great improvement it might continue to go bigger in value for the next days.

I think ECB has the OP's idea properly phrased, the final "mined Bitcoin" if you will.

But, over 100 years is a very long time, particularly in technology.  I am willing to state that MY GUESS is that BTC will be worth close to ZERO, as some other wealth-moving technology is almost sure to come along that will make BTC obsolete.  With the way the world is changing so quickly, it is very difficult to even make a good guess.

Especially if Ray Kurzweil's "Singularity" hits anytime soon: current guesstimates I have seen place that at around 2045 - 2050.  All bets are off then.  Maybe almost everything after that would be like Star Trek and their Replicators...

It will be worth 1 Bitcoin. Because by then Bitcoin will be the universal currency.

It is still an open ended question. Once bitcoins are fully mined (which we won't know 100% when that will be), the price will still fluctuate daily on the exchanges.

Once the United States defaults, what will be the value of the USD? When Dogecoins are mined out, how much will the final Dogecoin be worth? Can you answer these questions ECB? No, you can't.

Currently it's hard to predict how much the bitcoin will be worth in the finale. If there is such a thing as final. Some predicted or speculated bitcoin would be worth $2000 by the end of the year but surprise! surprise! It reached that amount over the weekend and it is still not midyear yet, so basically we can't predict what would be the final worth of btc but we can speculate around how much every year.

Theres no answer for this question knowing that bitcoins price do really depend on demand which means it cant be stabilize and price do really change.Final price of bitcoin is impossible it might increase and decrease does depend on volatility but talking about potential price then i could say that it would really high as long bitcoin is being used it will be more valuable.

No one could exactly say about the final value.There are various factors which are responsible for the volatility in the price of bitcoin.But luckily, there are only positive factors now due to which bitcoin price is rising high.We could predict that bitcoin may cross $3000 by the end of this year since it has been predicted that bitcoin price would continue in the bullish trend through out this year.But we could surely say that bitcoin holders would be millionaires in future if bitcoin price moves in this same trend.

I think this is just another silly question here in this forum which is supposed to be an intelligent discussions related to Bitcoin and maybe other coins too or altcoins. Now, to answer that question: Personally i don't there would be a specific amount that can be considered as the maximum value for Bitcoin. It can keep on growing up and even lose some of its value as time goes on depending on the law of supply and demand. And we can see it now having this kind of movement.

Cant be answered. There is no final Bitcoin price, just like there is no final price on Gold or Silver. We will see huge swings. Ive been  around when bitcoin was worth just over a dollar then up to 32 dollars then back down to 2 dollars then up to 1100 dollars back down to 300 or so, now its over 2k, get my drift?

That's pretty easy to answer: zero of course.  (otherwise it wouldn't be the final one).

How in the world can any one answer this? Did you wake up to know that on xyz date, Bitcoin will expire? There is no end to Bitcoin price current rally anywhere 3-5k this year but what if it's suddenly banned we could see a major downfall. It could very well be banned in Asia country and I am referring to India, that will be a big jolt. Right now it's a wait and watch scenario, honestly no one has any idea where and when will it go. It all depends on the global events and that has got me worried. I only wish price stays constant or rises.

I think the guy means the final bitcoin mined or the bitcoin after 20,999,999 btc mined.
If the btc price isn`t enough high it won`t be profitable for the miners to mine the last bitcoin.

I think no one can predict but I know every bitcoin enthusiast has their thoughts on it. It could be more than $10,000 or the other way around. Anything can happen so we'll see.

At first bitcoin is not so worth, but the final? It depends on demand and supply. If many people need it will be very valuable, as currently bitcoin reaches a fantastic price.

Nobody will be in a position to predict the future and for that reason nobody will be able to give you a correct answer to this question. A lot has happened since Bitcoin was developed back in 2009 and it is still gaining momentum. All of us will not be around when the final Bitcoin is mined, so it will not benefit us to know what the worth of the last bitcoin will be. Yes, our kids or their kids might benefit from this knowledge, but I doubt that Bitcoin will still be this popular by that time. ^hmmmmm^

Ah, to me the "final bitcoin" was the last bitcoin used (transacted).   People saying that they know now when the final bitcoin will be mined, are making several hypotheses already:
1) that the few lines of code that determine the emission curve of bitcoin will not be modified.  If the current emission scheme remains intact, indeed, the last Satoshi should be mined around 2140 or so, but in fact, these lines can be changed just as much as the block size can be changed: these are two scarcity parameters (one in the transactions market, the other in the satoshis market) that are not guaranteed to remain immutable.

2) that bitcoin will not fork over the ages in a miriad of competing chains, or that even the notion of "chain" gets abandoned.

3) that bitcoins will keep all of them the same price, even though bitcoins are not fungible (each one has a specific history, for instance, it may be that satoshi's original coins, if they start moving, have a special "historical premium" to them).

4) that bitcoin's chain will even still be running in some or other form.

This is why the "last bitcoin" sounds to me rather the "last used bitcoin" (the last transaction).  This can happen 2 years from now, 20 years from now, 2 centuries from now, whatever.  It seems logical to me that the last transaction will be about 0 value.

You could even say that if bitcoin forks off into, say, a PoS coin, then the last true bitcoin has 0 value because it is on a dead chain (another chain continued, but the true bitcoin PoW chain may be dead at a certain point).

You could just as well ask what is the value of "the last Deutsch Mark".  Well, it is zero (apart maybe for some collectors).  Because there were still Deutsch Mark around when Germany switched to the Euro and after a while, declared Deutsch Marks not to be exchangeable any more for Euros.  At that point, these Deutsch Marks became zero, but people mostly had converted their former Deutsch Mark into Euros.  This is similar to a substantive hard fork where the original dies.

There is no final bitcoin that you are saying. The price of the bitcoin is always unstable because it goes up and down. We can't predict that the price of the bitcoin will become stable.

I am actually not entirely sure what you actually mean by the final bitcoin but i'm going to assume that you mean the bitcoin price when the final bitcoins are being produced.

this is a very complex question because you have to put a lot of variables in - for example the value of fiat when bitcoin is at its final block reward stages when the block rewards are so little they can be ignored is a big question mark. It could collapse, it could be around the same value as it is right now. Nobody can tell but I'm going for the collapse option over the value staying the same option.

I'd say at least $1 million dollars because fiat will be entirely worthless pieces of paper - if we still have the USD and other major fiats, that is.

There will be no final price or exact worth for bitcoin since its value changes from to time, same with other things like fiat and gold. Fiat goes through a period where it loses some of its value, while gold, even if its been around for so long still has some volatility in its price. So the same can be said of bitcoin, even if its gets to live for a hundred more years or so.

There is no possible price for the final worth of bitcoin because there is still a lot of years to come and i think if you are talking for the final worth of bitcoin now for this year, then i will say that it will be stable and final at 2000 USD per 1 bitcoin. The price of bitcoin is not predictable and based on the price history, bitcoin doesn't fail to surprise us so i think there is a lot of price to wait.

I do not know if there will be a final price of bitcoin. We are still mining it as of now and until the last bitcoin is mine, there will be no final price of it. Only thing is certain though, bitcoin will continue to rise in the future. I didn't imagined that bitcoin can breached $2000, and now this mental barrier has been broken and going up still. So to predict is final price is futile.

At some point an altcoin will surpass bitcoins market cap.
At that point people will realize that any altcoin has the potential to pass bitcoin.
There will be a massive altcoin freenzy, with many more coins and all increasing in value
Finally, everyone will realize that this is all made up money with nothing backing it other than faith and the whole lot will collapse.

I think this is a very plausible scenario, but the problem is, this can happen in 6 days, 6 weeks, 6 months, 6 years, 60 years, or 600 years.
Sooner or later, this will collapse, but it can be very, very long before it happens.  It is a belief system, and certain religions keep up a very long time.

There is no way you can know what it's final price is going to be as the market and few factors determines the price over and over hence, the whole fluctuations which makes it quite unpredictable. So if anyone tells you the ending price, it is basically an assumption and nothing else.

Many people here talk about the value of 1BTC in dollars. Even though many of them have never touched a dollar.

Personally I've touched a dollar coin, but never been to the US, and never spent it.

So to me, a dollar is worth something in euros. And the BTC is worth something in euros. And one day, it will be the opposite. The euro and the dollar will be worth something in BTC, because I will be living in BTC, my income will be in BTC, and I won't care that much about fiat. So that day, 1BTC will be worth 1BTC.

Nice observation! Andreas said the same thing in a video. He said at one point we will stop saying how much is a Bitcoin worth and instead ask how much is a Euro worth in bitcoin. So instead of one bitcoin is 2000 euros, it will be one EUR is worth 0.0005303 BTC. This shift in exchange will change everything :)

It is very unpredictable. We can't predict the final worth of the bitcoin. Because there is a time that the worth of bitcoin is suddenly goes up and goes down. There is no Final worth that you are saying.

There is no definite amount bitcoin can reach, same with what we experiencing now ot suddenly pump more than expected with a greater amount on value. So we cant really tell what may happen.

We can't say that so , Bitcoin will be continuously rising and we can't say when it dies or when it grows that much we can only predict what will be the price of bitcoin but what I've read already is bitcoin can be growth till half million dollars as the blog says also blockchain ceo told that bitcoin will be rise on this way.

Well, if you mean the “final Bitcoin” as in the last bitcoin mined then I am guess around 10,000 (although I have no idea, just a guess), of course there will never really be a “final Bitcoin” they’ll just keep circulating.

BTC has no limit price so it can be a million if its going to survive for years and years from now. But what usually happen is that what goes up will also come down.
There will be some other coin that will also rise might be valuable as ETH as well.

The worth/price of the final bitcoin mined would be equal to the price of an ordinary bitcoin at the time of the completion of the mining. Regardless if it is the first or last, each Bitcoin's value will be equal. OR if you are asking what is the price of bitcoin when the last btc was mined, then the answer is no one knows. We could say it's possible if Bitcoin becomes a payment system accepted worldwide and used in every country. Well, if we asume that there is such a thing as the "final bitcoin" and asume that it's bitcoin. It would be in the situation that BTC reaches 100% market adoption and penetration. Which means that every transaction will be made with Bitcoin. Now to express the value of such a coin in Dollar terms is pointless, because that one will not exist anymore. I could go on as to what would be worth considering and what not, but in the end it all boils down to this.

One Bitcoin would have a buying power of 1/(21000000 minus lost BTC) of the whole world's economy.

In today's dollars one could argue that it would be M3 (80.9 trillion dollars). If you want to count all the debt as money too (which our system does) it would be a bit over 200 trillion Dollars. If you want to include derrivatives, you'll be looking at something in the ballpark of 1 quadrillion Dollars.

So the answer you're looking for: Millions if not Billions of todays dollars.

I dont really know but in my predition probably around 10,000-20,000$ is the best price that bitcoin could reach for me but bitcoin an surpass that we never know like today we never know that bitcoin will reach this far around 2000$ and thats a history for the bitcoin reach that price.

Do you see what's been happening with Bitcoin? There are enough people playing with it that, every time some of them want to take profit, it drops a little. Then, the rest of the people get in on the lower price, making it surge even higher.

It is not easy to foresee the final price of bitcoin because different people have different opinions and different goals. Some people will sell of if bitcoin reaches to $5k USD and some people will hold hoping for more profit. So the final value can't be arrived, at least at this point of time.

However, it can be possible that bitcoin will have a dream run for at least another 7 years if the existing problems are solved. I expect bitcoin to reach at least $7k USD within next 5-7 years and that's frankly is my goal. Probably I will sell of most of my savings to bring in hard cash and pay off my mortgage.

I think the final worth of bitcoin maybe 10,000 to 20,000 dollars each but no one what is the macimum price will bitcoin reach. And I think if its happen few years before that happen. Because this year 2017 the priceof bitcoin will reach around $3000-$4000 maybe because halving is near and hiday season is near also maybe december 2017 the price will hit that price . If hold your bitcoin for few years and if you have 100 bitcoin more and you will sell that for sure you will become millionaire.

we can't compute the max or fnal value it can be for we cant predict the probability that it will grow or not or just increase in same percentage,however we should just enjoy and make the most out of it ,invest now and see how it can be.

That's right without getting worried about the future I think its better to enjoy the joy ride with bitcoins at a moment and in future we can take our decision depending on the situation and as of now almost all users are enjoying good profits and we can expect the same trend even in future.

For some people future of bitcoin is really important. People who invested a lot of money into bitcoin would not agree with you guys, and by that i mean to let go and enjoy the ride, unless they have money for trowing away xD . For small sums you can enjoy it, make some trades and just have fun with it, but with much bigger sums... well it is not the same :D . But i agree that the price of bitcoin can not be predicted.

It is possible that bitcoin can even reach that value many years from now. The world bureaucracy will not stop bitcoin from growing its value but instead a countries adoption of bitcoin will bring an intense increase in bitcoins value due to the increase of users demand. There are even some experts who predicted that bitcoins value can reach that high.

My question to all of those who don't say "zero":

Suppose that the highest bitcoin price that will ever be recorded, is of value $1 000 000.- (or take any number) in today's dollars.  By that, I don't mean that that bitcoin will be exchanged for X dollars, I mean, it will be exchanged for whatever is worth today $1000 000.- (say a nice villa in a nice neighbourhood).  Now, who's the twit who bought that coin ?  What will he do next with it ?  Remember, that by definition, X was the highest value that WILL ever be recorded for a bitcoin transaction.  We can call the guy who paid X, the "greatest fool".  By definition there won't be another one bigger than him.
Everyone buying a bitcoin after him will pay less for it, because by assumption, X was the maximum.

What will people now do with their coins ?

How can one avoid said situation ?

1) bitcoin will never stop to rise.
2) bitcoin will keep a constant value from a certain point onwards.

Are these two situations realistic ?

It depend on market demand, if btc have larger market demand it wil possible to hit above $5000

All I can say is that the final numbers of how many bitcoin can be produce is 21 million bitcoin, that is final. But the value of bitcoin is in infinity as you can see and project if you rely on the price hike that is happening right now. and if you think a million dollar per bitcoin will happen, maybe yes, maybe not. Only time can tell, maybe the 8 decimal satoshis will go 9 or 10, only god knows what will happen.

If you ask about expected sale price, I d probably sell at $10k. Selling before that is considerable loss. Dont do it if you do not have to do it.

Mine will be $2,000,000 and that is final, I would going to withdraw all of my bitcoins. I'm sure that I would have a plenty of money when that time comes, holding my bitcoin for a very long time and having this oppurtunity to come is the moment that I won't missed, because this is the day that I've been waiting for my whole life.

Others said 2140. I don't think there will be a last block because without blocks, bitcoin transactions won't get confirmations. The final btc should be worth the same as other bitcoins that are mined before, right? or am I missing something here.

How long will you wait for that to come? And for sure if that bitcoin will reach that value or even just half of it those small holders will again have the panic selling which will cause drop down of the value. The price mentioned by you is just unrealistic and i dont see this much price of bitcoin, not atleast in my life. :)

I would like to call that is a last reward block. Block is still being mined but there will be no reward for block found anymore. THe price will increase after that period. I think so haha

Like other said i think the final price for bitcoin will be 10k this is i think we can see in the future maybe 2025 or more.
Since bitcoin is really increasing too fast the price can be increase more because more people are using it and the source of bitcoin every block halving will be reduce the block rewards.

I think predicting the final BitCoin price is just the same as predicting the future...
Say it will be 0.1$ and say it will be 10,000,000$ are basically the same.

Bitcoin final number 21 Million and 8 decimal places Satoshis are final and will never change, unless the dev fundamentally change the whole algorithm of it. But no one can predict the final price. I think it will never be a final price from bitcoin and it will be increasing forever, no matter how high it will go.  21 million total bitcoin will not be sufficient for the whole world.

I have no doubts BTC will reach $10,000 - it will happen in 3 years max. After that...sky is the limit!

I am not so sure that Bitcoin will finish within the 350k range in the USD Currency because the people that invest in Bitcoin will try to hold their coins more seriously compared to how they are holding it now. Bitcoin is just getting started within the Digital Currency payment method revolution so I am pretty sure that the coin will at least get to a price of a million dollars or more since the demand for it will be much larger than most currencies at that stage.

Yes we cannot really predict the future ahead from bitcoin price because the changes is actually inevitable meaning to say that more changes can happen so it better to take time to find bitcoin as a way of transaction or in other words support it for it to progress and developed more. In that way we can earn at the same time enjoy the development of bitcoin. Always look at bitcoin as a way of investment because in reality it is an investment itself because its price always follow the law of price and demand.

But then again they don’t really know any better. Its really just like gambling. You can’t really know anything for sure. But I do think there is a good chance it will keep rising.

Assume same value per today but $ will inflate by 2% p.a. = halfes in value every 40 years.

So 3 times $ halfing makes at least

5000$ after 40 years

I am weak at maths but if you are asking about the price of bitcoin when each and everyone on the earth (7B) would have some part of it then the price would be in at least 10 to 15 figures at that moment but I wouldn't call it a FINAL price because no one will have the same number of coins in their hand and thus the average price would keep fluctuating as per law of demand and supply.

Actually if I see bitcoin is a digital currency that we are highly profitable in the future. If there ever comes a time that there will be one final bitcoin, I think it will be worthless because then no one would be left to buy it or won't be interested in it. One bitcoin circling around the world, bitcoin would die before that happens I think.

In my own opinion there is no such thing as final price for Bitcoin, because as we all know price of Bitcoin keeps going up , and going down. Price is not stable and that is the good thing about Bitcoin, If prices goes down it is an opportunity to buy and once it goes up then we sell. The price of bitcoin depends in the demand from the market and if the people will continue to demand for bitcoin even at the price right now then it is 100% sure that it will continue to go up and there is no limit for the price of bitcoin because it is always basing from the demand. More demand = lower supply and finally, higher prices.

if by the "Final BTC" You mean the one that will be mined in the final block then it won't be a full BTC I think and would be a fraction, anyway the value of BTC has been steadily growing, and although BTC won't "run out of stock" but the lower amount mined should result in an increased price generally, so not even until the whole blockchain is mined, even 10 years from now BTC should show an exorbitant price.

I agree with you, there is no final price for bitcoin because it is on the open market and open market means decentralized it is not controlled or being dictated by someone and it only depends on the demand of the people in the market and if we will just continue pursuing bitcoin and keep buying and selling or maintaining the cycle then there is more chance for the price to pump more.

Final bitcoin price is an ambiguous speculation we are never going to see because prices are constantly changing never at a standstill and after a couple of years from now i expect only a small group of people to own bitcoins from now own as prices will skyrocket when supply of the digital currency is limited. Final BTC price could be less than at the moment or higher. It depends on a lot of different things, maybe some day another altcoin will replace bitcoin and it will start to drop. When I saw this thread, I was supposed to say something but all of you covered it already. In short, NO ONE KNOWS! That is the reality that people need to understand because that is the nature of bitcoin, being decentralized! Investors take that as an opportunity to invest because its price tomorrow might be higher than today.

Again, no one really knows the final price of bitcoin but by looking at the price chatt, we can conclude that there is an increase on bitcoin's price overtime. Also considering the advancement of technology, this may affect more the factors in determining its price.

The answer is obvious and we all know that it's impossible to predict bitcoin price more especially the worth of FINAL BTC which makes us think "what is that?". As satoshi speculate the bitcoin value that will reach upto 10000$ in 2030. When I am looking at the current price I expect bitcoin value would be the satoshi's expectation. Everybody expect the dump in the August 1st but price is turns to higher amount.

When it comes to secondary market there are no such thing as a final price because we as the people determine the demand for Bitcoin, also this can apply to anything that has value we are the ones who are putting the demand to things. Bitcoin is not controlled by the government but it is controlled by Big movers which can greatly influence the price but 1 thing is for sure it won't have a final price.

Well you are right in some why but as far as I know in many countries government does not have any involvement in the matters of bitcoin. And also in my country government is unaware from it. But this is good for me because I can get my profit without any tax. So come to the point bitcoin never stop increasing and there is no end point for it.

If they adopt this Bitcoin as legal currency, then your freedom will be gone and to use your bitcoins you have to pay tax to your governament. I do remember them stating that the price of Bitcoin will be really high, though when comparing their price to the price right now it is pretty easy to obtain since the price of Bitcoin could just make a little more than double its value and get to the price that they stated that it would be.

Because let say that Bitcoin is a last bottle of drinkable water so people will fight and use all of its money to get that water. Just like the Bitcoin, people will fight and bet all of its money to get that.

It might still be worth around $10 thousand after a few years considering then rise and falls within the cryptocurrency world. Think about it, 10 years from now it can be worth $100k a coin, but even if it breaks its ATH by $1 a year, it still won't be at its top price and this is a very plausible outcome. It will stabilize at some point, but once every year or two there will be a bullish run to set a new record.
I think we'll break $5000 next year and run towards $10k a coin by the end of 2020.

The price of bitcoin is hard to predict in the next five years, let alone 50 or 100 years from now, if ever it gets to exist that long. But I firmly believe it is going to withstand the test of time and the changing technologies if only development would continue and adoption grows over time. How much the demand by the time the last coin is mined is also a good  thing to think about.

No one knows since the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency depends on its market demand. If the demand is continuous, the rise of Bitcoin's value will also be continuous. As long as bitcoin is demanded by people, its price won't stop rising. And if Bitcoin wi last for 20 or more years? that would definitely make Bitcoin's price insanely high, based on the demand that it has right now.

That is a very uncertain question but the real answer will never be found as we are not having full information regarding bitcoin. What I mean by this is, we don't know when the last bitcoin will be mined, we don't how will it be regulated in the future, we don't know whether bitcoin will be still running in the future on blockchain or not. There are so many missing pieces that needs to be plugged before we can know the final price. We can't even predict what would be exact price after few days after having pretty good information then how could we go that far. Needs to rethink non that. :-)

For me there is no such thing as final bitcoins, and besides bitcoins are just getting started we do not know how far they can achieve. Maybe they can achieve the value of a gold or a million we do not know. But the one that I know is that bitcoins price will always rise as the time goes by as long as there are a lot of bitcoin users. It will only lose its value or come with a final price if and only if the consumers of bitcoins will be zero ad in totally no people are buying or holding that thing.

You should rephrase your thread title a little bit. Rather than talking about the final price of Bitcoin, you should be talking about the peak valuation. The final price is gong to be zero anyway, either in the near-future or in the distant future. Because when a coin dies, its value becomes zero.

What do you mean "final" btc is it the final block rewards for the miners for mining a block or the price of bitcoin? if the price of bitcoin well there is no such thing as final as long as bitcoin is being traded, bought or sold to the market, bitcoin value won't be "final". but if you say final block rewards well the final block reward if all of bitcoin's supply were mined is 1 satoshi according to the bitcoin wiki.

There are so many factors that affect the price of the bitcoin.Some factors are news, demand and the acceptance of other countries. I dont think there will be a final price for btc, it will become volatile till the last drop of supply that can be mined. The real deal here is how long will people keep on supporting this kind of currency.

There will be no such thing as FINAL BITCOIN. Even if the last block out there gets mined bitcoin's price will still change. Why? That is because there are transactions going on like people buying or selling bitcoin which is the main reason why the price changes.

We all believe bitcoin in still underprice as much as we want bitcoin to have a fixed and stable price we cannot settle that. I don't have any idea what would be the real valuation of bitcoin but I guess its value will continue to appreciate as long as the demand continue to increase, if time comes that bitcoin became the major currency of the world I guess a bitcoin can probably cause 1M.

it is hard to determine the final worth of btc since its value constantly changes and it depends on the market and the investors. when you say final worth it would probably be the last value it will have if ever btc will end which is unlikely. therefore, there is no telling how much the worth of btc will be because the only constant thing in the crypto world is change.

I've seen thread like this many times, and the answer is always the same. The bitcoin could split into 8 digital number, it means, even its amount are limited, you could still have it. So more and more people are using bitcoin, more and more the price will grow. So I thought theres no final price.

I think no one can answer it. As you can see the value of bitcoin is fluctuating in just a minute that is why it is hard to tell what is the final value of bitcoin. In my own perspective, the reason why the value of bitcoin is fluctuating it is because of the economic status of the whole world.

But you're right, since it is so divisible (and might be divided more in the future if the value gets too high for individual satoshis to be "cents") there is no way to determine how valuable a whole one would be. There isn't even a "final" Bitcoin since they keep getting divided and the "last" Bitcoin will take something like 5 years to mine, at the fastest iirc.

No one knows about what will be the final price of bitcoin. But i guess, its price will be very since its the final or last bitcoin. Some people will be eager to buy that last bitcoin even though its price is very high. Some bitcoin will be revolve in the market and some will be stored in their wallets.

I would say that is essentially an unknowable question. The coin will be mined in 100 years time, we cannot predict what is going to happen in 10 to 20 years with any degree of accuracy, let alone 100 years. In addition to that, changes are accelerating so the question is even more difficult than it seems.

If you could predict the price with some degree of certainty next month, I would be pretty happy.

I don't think if Bitxoin has a final market value since its market value is only dependent with its demand in the market. So as long as the demand increases, its value will continue increasing. We can only speculate if the pice will be high or not but not ith an exact value. But I think its value will be more expensive in the future based on the demand that it is getting as of this moment which is continuously increasing.

To me, 100 years is not realistic. Bitcoin cannot survive that much time. Before it dies, it can see extreme prices such as $50,000.

I think bitcoin will die after a peak price experience.

Before we gets to the final bitcoin, some miners will have introduces a fee on inactive bitcoins wallets. In 2140 somewhere between 2 to 5 million or more bitcoins, would have gone lost. And if they have been in a non touch wallets for one hundred years, they will be considered lost, and they will be hit with a  small yearly tax to keep the miners going thousands of years more.

Bitcoins will never die. And in 2140 one bitcoin will be more than a life earning for most people.

Bitcoin won't go up forever. By it's own definition that it is a currency, the end game is for bitcoin to have a stable price once adoption reaches equilibrium. It could be a very high price but not a forever rising price. No point predicting what it will be, pretty much impossible to predict.

I think even the price of Bitcoin in 10 years (sorry thats about as far as I can imagine in crypto) will not reveal the true value. With the upcoming fork and others almost certain Bitcoin is like a root that has started spreading. I just wonder if Bitcoin can fork efficiently enough to maintain it's value and adopt increased security, faster block times and cheaper fees before other competitors like Dash beat it to mainstream adoption. At some point bitcoin needs to have some form of decentralized governance built in to achieve these things

There wouldn't be a final price for bitcoin because we all know that it is very volatile. I can only say that maybe 5 years from now and if mass adoption is successful then it's will likely play between the range of $90k-$150k based on my own prediction.

Yeah... we saw that a few days back when the exchange rates dropped from $4,500 to $2,900 as a result of the China FUD. But the good thing is that the prices recovered in quick time, and now we are back at $4.5 K. A reason for this quick recovery, IMO may be the fact that Bitcoins are under-priced right now. After all, there are only around 16.5 million coins available in the market.

Yup we cannot predict the final value of bitcoin because of the volatility nature of it, but im pretty much sure the price will be very high in the future. What's important to me is as long i can get benefits from holding bitcoin (like gaining profits from bitcoin investment) It doesn't cross my mind how much will the final value be worth.

No one knows what would it's final definite value will be. It's market price is only dependent on the demand that Bitcoin is having in the market such that its demand and value is proportional. Since the demand is continuously growing, its market value or price will also be. It will only be predicted if it will be more exoensive or not, and predicting the exact and final value will be impossible.

My advice:

1. Buy as many BTC as you can afford to lose and be OK about it if it drops to zero.
2. Any time is a good time to buy BTC (see 1. above).

For me I think the higest price of bitcoij is possible is 30k upto 50k dollars thats my predicition only and I think it will happen after 10 years or more but we dont know actually what happen to the price and when it happen we only gives ua our opinion. The truth is nobody knows about what might happened in the future. For now, the important is what we were going to do to make the this BTC last until next generation. I think he is talking about the last bitcoin ever mined, there are genesis coins, the first coins ever mined by satoshi, at some point the block reward is going to be less than 1 BTC and that is going to be a milestone so the last full coin ever mined is going to become some sort of collector item, even if fractions of bitcoin are still begin mined in the future.

Bitcoin price is constantly changing which implies we shall never have a final price but just like everyone out there we have had predictions that bitcoin could go as high as a million dollars but I think for my generation anything between $50k-$100K will be possible as long as demand is there.

100,000 dollar is possible for the price of Bitcoin in future. I think with the limited supply as now, Bitcoin can reaches to that price if it does not have any change after its value increased. But I doubt the government will be the enemy on the road growth of Bitcoin in future.

For some reason I see the value being around 35K, and then it all comes crashing down, and people will come to realize that it was ultimately a long con.  But one where a lot of people can make a lot of money before it happens as long as they get out safely before-hand.  The scary part is that there are never any signs/clues when this happens.  It comes like a thief in the night.  In fact it would likely happen during a strong bull run to ensnare as many victims as possible.

Well there is the final or highest price that Bitcoin can reach. This is the price ceiling. Where in when the price reaches this, the price can no longer go up. Tendency is that people will sell their Bitcoins and could cause a big drop of price.

As far as I've observed,Bitcoin price reaches 5,400 USD and I think the growth continues. I can see clearly that there's no final worth of BTC. If it keeps on getting higher,let it be. The price end is unknown because bitcoin value is fluctuating in which the value is always unstable. Bitcoin value is the same with the stock exchange market that always depend the result on investors pouring investments or the supply and demand in which the factors of regulating the price. If we could forecast the investors or the hoarding maybe we could speculate the nearest final value but for now it is very difficult to tell.

Miners don't earn just from mining they earn from transactions too, they will have reasons to stay with bitcoin and after they mine all bitcoins, buy that is too far for us. Not knowing what the final price of Bitcoin may raise the eagerness of people to continue buying or investing it for they are challenged with how Bitcoin works. Hopefully by the time Bitcoin reaches its final worth, everybody will be satisfied with its value.

no one know how much it will become or the final value is. as long its in demand its price will increase more and more. no one knows, they only predict its price. keep an eye on it so you will know if there is a final value of btc.

I think it will be less than $150k. That price is very expensive that even a massive buy can't make a very large increase.

Well  yes, with bitcoin of with nearly anything we can not predict what it is  worth or will be worth in  a certain time. It's all about what the market dictates, how much trust people put in it etc. etc. However if bitcoin  / crypto wll work it will be worth a lot.

The final bitcoin or the last bitcoin to be mined will be in over more than a hundred years. So, It's hard to predict the price and it makes no sense wanting to know what the price of this Bitcoin will be. If it will be $100 or $1000000, it does not matter now. It's better to focus on the next months or years. At the end of the year Bitcoin will reach 10K, next year it will go from 15K to 20K.

I agreed with you. Its really hard to know the exact amount of bitcoin.
Since the nature of bitcoin is being unstable in the market.
It always depend on the amount of demand in the market.
But im hoping that bitcoin will continue to grow until it reach the max amount that bitcoin can have.

Everything changes every day. But with cryptocurrency, the price of cryptocurrency can be to the moon or the hell within one day or few hours is possible. Remember again the price of Ethereum has dumped from $300 to $0.1 in few seconds on mid year :D.

The question itself sounds like a joke , as bitcoin is decentralized which everything depends on us who have full control over the money.
When a lot of people agree to sell their bitcoin at the same time the price will get dropped and vice versa.
The fixed price might will never happened because its decentalized , statistically bitcoin always increasing time after time.

It is impossible to know those kind of things because by then we are all going to be dead, I have no doubt that the last bitcoin is going to be very valuable not only as a regular coin but as an interesting part of bitcoin history the same way we look at the genesis block.

The Final worth cannot be determine if it continues growing or will still grow because it's in the market. We can only know that if bitcoin is removed completely.

I think bitcoin price will not be finalize or will not be fix anymore. Pump and drop is already a part of it so I think that is impossible to happen.

The whales can manipulate the price that is right but not everything is manipulation not even the whales have the power to chance the price as much as we have seen recently so while the price of bitcoin may be unpredictable that does not mean that it does not follow some patterns that can be recognized.

I agree, everyone didn't know what will the final bitcoin be worth, and i think even successful people here in our forum didn't know. And for me bitcoin wont stop growing for his value ( like you said ) because there's so many investor invest in bitcoin and they believe what satoshi nakamoto vision. Anyways, i think if anyone didn't invest or buy bitcoin they will start to lose his value.
