Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?

What would be amazing would be for some of the major point of sale systems (ex. Vend or LightSpeed) to integrate crypto / BTC. That could be huge.

Me, I do not but I am planning to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment for our business in the near future. Bitcoin is not yet that popular in our country so I will wait more time. Though many business here in the Philippines are accepting Bitcoin by purchasing egifts with Bitcoin, I am still planning to wait more time. I am on a province so I believe that only few knows Bitcoin exist here. When our business is ready and very stable, I will surely accept Bitcoin as payment.

Many shops and stores that accept bitcoin will not announce it publicly fearing government backlash and the trouble of explaining everyone what bitcoin is. Was reading somewhere in another thread in bitcointalk that in Switzerland, there are plenty of them who accept bitcoins publicly.

Unfortunately, In my country there is no shop accept bitcoin, because not all people here know about cryptocurrencies. It's too bad. but recently I heard that some shops which they buy phone sims and phone will start to accept bitcoin like payment method. I think it's awesome to do that, and i hope all shops will start use it soon.

In my area there is no offline store that accept payment using bitcoin, maybe because for its bitcoin user is still rare

None yet, stores were not familiar on it. Particularly in our country. There are lot of bitcoin or cryptocurrency users yet there are still no offline store made for it. We may see it next few years.

No for me and i think no one in my area is accepting bitcoin as a payment here, because bitcoin is really not popular here, but i'm sure somewhere out there people are accepting bitcoin as the payment. Someday, when bitcoin popular, many people will use this currency on offline and online.

Maybe in some countries that receive bitcoin legally, of course there are shops or stalls that accept offline payment transactions with other facilities such as bitcoin ATMs and bitcoin credit cards.

None of the moment. Here in our country, the younger ones, some elders are the only aware of bitcoin thing.
It's popular here but no stores or establishments are accepting bitcoin, maybe because its not yet legal here.
But this thing is not a far fetch dream for us, maybe with some few years it could possibly be happen.

The only country that i know that accepts bitcoin in their offline stores is in Japan so if you want to buy somethings in offline stores and pay in bitcoin then you should go to Japan but i think there is some stores around the world that accept bitcoin or any type of cryptocurrency because they are starting to notice the great potential for this kind of currency.

Some store or business establishment are accept bitcoin as payment on their merchant they sell but some of them are not accept bitcoin because they didn't know bitcoin.

Most of those sites listed in 99bitcoins.com arent really offline stores. Lets be in reality here, almost no one will use their BTC to spend in a store where cash or credit cards are accepted unless the buyer really needs to buy something and there was no other choice for payment.

I've never seen a store that uses bitcoin in real life. It is unfortunately becoming increasingly more inconvenient to use bitcoin for real life payments due the slow transactions and high fees for stuff like groceries, coffee etc.

If we want that, we need the lightning network soon. Until then... it's simply not worth the hassle.

True. In my country instead of paying through fiat , for example load for mobile data and internet and cables , or some imitation of shoes and clothing, they are accepting BTC as a payment and they are open to accept cryptocurrencies to avoid consume of time on going to money shipment stores. In my country there are no much stores who accept Bitcoin. Just a few of them, like one hair dresser, bakery and some bars. Direct Bitcoin payments still represent a big problem for merchants and they don't like to accept it. So actualy the on way to,spend them in real stores is with Bitcoin debit card.

Yes there are plenty though they may not advertise it fearing government restrictions. I recently visited Singapore and was surprised the hotel accept Bitcoins, but not officially. The manager made me send the coin to some account, and gave me the bill stating I paid in cash.

Offline business is very hard to use bitcoins due to the fact that the course is constantly changing and it is impossible to constantly recalculate the item price. Additionally, the payment is a time, and before receiving payment on their account, few will agree to give up the goods. There are other problems for offline businesses.

Yeah but how many people actually pay in BTC? I would say maybe theres one in every 1000 people, maybe less than that. There isnt that many Bitcoiners around the world for BTC acceptance for restaurants to make sense. Besides, cash works better. It's fast and cheap to use.

I don't own one but there is at least one that I know of that's about a 5 minute walk from my apartment, in a very highly populated area. It's like a little pawn shop or something, and they have a big Bitcoin sign outside.

The offline stores pay by bitcoin, I'm not sure it will happen. When bitcoin builds trust in the virtual world, it is real. And bring many practical benefits.

We don't have any offline stores accepting bitcoin in our country, none yet. Hoping it would be possible in the near future though.

That is very true, your pint make sense that Bitcoin has large market value and a lot of merchants are there who are really ready to accept bitcoin as a payment. They knows that bitcoin is a safe and pure payment instead of fiat cash. It would be hoped that soon or late it will make you earn money as a lot of people are using it for online payment and some are using it for trading its also because of the increasing prices. People are hopping for good profit a lot of stores are now working online and they are accepting bitcoin as a payment its really good to see such process and payment through bitcoin is a safe for sure.

Not anyone i know of right now that has an actual business. Though me and people i know who are using btc to transactions through bitcoin already likenfor example buying prepaid credits for cellphone and online games. Yes offline stores also accept payment in bitcoins but in a very little number because bitcoin's life span is a little time in front of fiat but bitcoin is progressing very well and in future might every market will accept payment in bitcoins I think bitcoin will change the payment entire system.

In my country, I have convinced two of local merchants to adopt bitcoin for some limited products. They are happy with that and giving positive reviews as sales significantly increased.

Yes its true that these days offline stores don’t accept bitcoin this is the main problem for bitcoin these days because many places in every country has no service of internet but I think this problem will live no longer the world is progressing rapidly and the day is not so far when bitcoin will be used every where any time.

That is a disadvantage for bitcoin because we can only use it when there is internet in the area and if there is no internet then it is clear that we can't do transactions in bitcoin unless we have paper wallets to give that has the required value of bitcoin in it. So far offline stores that receive payments with bitcoin still rarely encountered in my country because of its existence that has not been widely known by many people and the government here has not been able to formalize bitcoin as a common means of payment used.

Here in our country the Starbucks are accepting the bitcoin as mode of payment and most of all are peer to peer transactions of bitcoins are implemented here because most of the stores are not yet know about of the bitcoin so I think the bitcoin now is not yet adopted but it starting to adopt these days.

As far as I know, there is a huge department store chain in Japan called Marui which accepts bitcoin. That means that almost in every corner of Japan there is a place where you can buy almost whatever you need for life in bitcoin.

In here in my country there is a offline store near our house and they accept bitcoin as payments they sell different things such as school supplies and computer accessories shop and they accept bitcoin payment if you insist to pay with it.

There is one I know which accepts Bitcoin as payment. 7/11 store is what I know accepts it and hopefully they continue to deal with it even with the drop of it's price right now.

There must be for sure, recently i just saw a restaurant which acceptimg btc as a payment. Im amaze that knee btc has a wide use in real life and offline businesses have choose to accpet btc. In my country, there are no offline business that accepts bitcoins as payments because this currency are still not recognized by the government. And for some people, it is still dangerous and a risky kind of business since most of the price of cryptocurrency are highly volatile.

In fact, I think few of the people here in my place knows about cryptocurrency. However, because there is an industrialisation in my country, I think it will build in the near future. Well i'm actually seeing more and more businesses having signages of accepting not just bitcoin but ether and litecoin as well. And there are other physical stores i've seen in the internet that advertises their btc acceptance.

I did not accept bitcoin on my business because bitcoin is not legalized in my country.  Biut I know with time we should be able to freely using bitcoin in offline shop and business. The volatility in bitcoin pricing is not also helping matter as many gaming business that tried to use bitcoin lose money.

You must be living in a developed country only where bitcoin ATMs and bitcoin payments are frequent including Japan. Whereas rest of countries are still making crypto people to struggle to save and spend. India must be once recent example for this.

This is a good thing for the crypto community and it will spread the good news about bitcoin for non-users. What I know is only in a few countries and few places cryptos are accepting but that is not enough to create a demand. It has to spread to many countries worldwide but for that, it may take many years not so soon, the reason many countries still think it is not safe to buy cryptos due to its high volatility.

Same in my country, except for very few online stores which I do not really know how they have been fairing in that aspect in terms of customers using cryptocurrency or bitcoin to make payment.
The volatility has actually been the main challenge of quite a number of merchants which even some who utilize this medium as payment, still always end up converting to fiat pretty quickly so they do not end up in loss eventually. The coffee shops used to be the biggest thing about bitcoin that accepted payments yet the high fees and the long waiting (confirmation) times have ruined that and even tho we have segwit now and the fee has dropped significantly with lightning network and the pace is literally lightning fast we need to return back to those coffee shops and tell them it is fixed once again.

I have seen a post on reddit yesterday showing that somewhere in the world there was a coca cola machine that fills your glass with cola for 151 satoshi which uses lightning network so it was fast too, you just read the qr-code and it fills the cup.

in Bali Indonesia, there is a cafe that accepts payment using bitcoin. Customers simply transfer bitcoin from their wallet to pay the bill from the cafe by scanning the QR code and the process is complete. not long and simpler in my opinion. save space too, because the wallet is stored safely on the samrtphone that we always carry.

Their was offline shop in India, Bangalore who was accepting Bitcoin for food products but their was no response and last year after transaction problem, they stopped it. So still their is no usage of bitcoin directly in purchasing in India. Now as India have declared cryptocurrency illegal so more now no one will start any business with bitcoin payment. The only usage of bitcoin is converting to fiat currency.

i dont get it, offline businesses that accept bitcoin? bitcoin is online-based, you can transfer bitcoin thru online, how can they accept it, anyways. if ever there are physical stores that accept bitcoin as payment, and i am sure there are lots of them to this day, they accept bitcoin as payment thru interne, no one can accept bitcoin as payment if they are offline.

As of now, In my country I did not yet what store is starting to accept payment using bitcoin and I think the country that I know accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment is south korea because there was a news that some mall store there are using bitcoin and other coins as a mode of payment. However, it is a good opportunity to all of us if this thing will implemented.

I don't think there are offline stores that accept bitcoin, not in my knowledge.
In my country some banks accept bitcoin but not in store even in online shopping, i don't encounter that they allow to pay using bitcoin.

This is really good to know that their are business man who are willing to do it at the perfect time. This is really a huge help but i suggest fr you to do it now, because this might mot only help your business but also the marry of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin. Just like here in my country , there are storews that accepts bitcoin already as a payment method for a good and products. Actually i already tried once at the mall, a restaurant with online payment accessible with Coins.ph using code scanner.  This is the innovation i want, the online paymwnt for transactions, scanning codes to make a trade, This is the start of such a great world.

It is being done and adopted officially but it all depends on your location. Maybe you just misunderstood the "offline" thing, he's talking about the business/store not with bitcoin transaction.

I'm sure even though bitcoin isn't legal in many countries, at least in every country it has its own exchange, for example exchanging cryptocurrency directly with their fiat and vice versa, so I'm sure there will be offline stores around the exchange office that provide payment or transactions using bitcoin and maybe altc. So it does not rule out the possibility even though crypto is still not legal, but there are still stores that provide payment or transactions using bitcoin.

I think they are referring to some countries who are using it in offline stores, Like in Japan and some other countries that are using Bitcoin as their payment method in their products or service. Some of those stores are promoting the use of digital currency.

And it's not just bitcoin.  I know of Tapcoins, for instance,  being accepted in hotels,  restaurants and bars and I'm sure there are other currencies out there on the same track.  Hopefully we hit adoption soon,  as that's the future for this industry.

That will be great experience when I do it on to pay on stores using bitcoin. But I think using bitcoin as payment today is not worth because it need high volume to pay exact amount that can be doubled of price when the exchange rate recovers. Though it is hassle free, we also consider the change of it and much better to pay on own currency.

There are many types of stores now accepting bitcoin payments. It seems like this is a new trend of the world. Many large businesses are aiming to hold more bitcoins and that is a good sign that Bitcoin prices will rise in the future.

There is a pharmacy here that accepts bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin as well I guess even tho litecoin dropped a lot on the list compared to what it was for a long time it is still one of the most known ones here (or maybe he added it during litecoins height and added ethereum afterwards).

I always wondered how he got the permit for it, since considering selling medicine is an official thing and you can't sell people without prescription on most of them and actually can't just give out medicine however you wish there must be also some sort of legal backgrounds on how to sell medicine via bitcoins as well. It seems like a real hassle to manage that all together considering prices are volatile in crypto market as well.

There may be, but as I would be primarily interested in using Bitcoin for investment purposes, I would not really be aware of any in my locality. But it would be interesting to know about offline markets which accept Bitcoin. It doesn't seem likely though, as Bitcoin is a coin developed for online use primarily.

Here in my country I haven't ever seen any offline stores that accept bitcoin but there is a bunch of good and services that could be bought for btc from online merchants (starting from gadgets and ending with underclothes and pets supplies). I also know there are various charity organizations that accept funds in crypto (generally it's btc, eth and litecoin).

so far I don't have an offline store business that accepts payment using bitcoin, but for many online businesses, many of my friends have received payments using bitcoin, they mostly sell goods that can indeed be sold in onine stores such as clothes, computers and their provide payment methods using bitcoin

Adoption is something that would in the long term kick in as that is something that cannot be avoided. It is a gradual process and we are going to see more merchants and companies in the long run trying as much as possible to adopt the usage of cryptocurrency as a payment method just as we have few who are already doing that.

At least I know of some Automobile industries in the US that are now accepting bitcoins at most, and I believe as time goes on, we would get to see more of this. It is just a matter of patience and optimism as we will most definitely get there.

I don't have any idea about my country. I don't thing there's any store exist in my area who accept bitcoins but if you google it you'll found a lots of merchants but i prefer Shopcity where you can use bitcoin to pay your bill.

Bitcoin is slowly growing and its uses are increasing now days. There's many ATM build in China and some country where bitcoins are accepting. I wish our government step in and support bitcoin.

Yeah on line business is the edge on business, but if online business will use cryptocurrency it is  a good development and will increase the value of cryptocurrency and be more precious.

I am yet to actually witness any outlet that accepts Bitcoin for payment. But I have heard so much discussions about this. But how is it really going to be? Will the outlet have a platform where the customers will easily sign in and do the transfer? Not everyone may be able to afford a browsing device on the go to make such payments.

Yes that is right, a lot of stores are there which are accepting bitcoin as payment, but still in my area, I do not know about such stores in my country which are accepting bitcoin as payment, but hope that very soon we will also become able to use bitcoin as for payment in our local stores.

You right adoption will require a very long process because in some areas not everyone wants to accept a new development and technology. Moreover, the rules that bind them do not allow using crypto. of course adoption will be increasingly hampered. but you're right as time goes I'm sure there will be more offline or online merchants who accept it. because users will continue to increase

Of course, that is something that is bound to happen and once we see the price skyrocket based on mass adoption and usage, there is every chance that we will get to see some balance in the market, which will bring about less volatility, and by then, I am pretty sure that less volatility is something good, considering the fact that a lot of merchants all over the world, will not have a problem accepting it as a payment method.

So far, we have seen a lot of companies and merchants skeptical and we do not have the infrastructure yet with respect to scaling, that will really make it easy to see mainstream adoption any time soon, but it is worth waiting for.

Not only in ordinary, but also in online stores I did not have to see that they accept payments using bitcoins. When this happens everywhere, it will be a breakthrough.

That can happen because there are already some applications that can pay by Bitcoin. That is the needs of shopkeepers. They want to hold Bitcoin for a long time to increase the profits of the store. It is good to know that many business adapt bitcoin already and sometimes accepting other coins too. It is more faster than you expect especially when you do not have any cash on hand and all you have is your phone. Many people are coming and being familiar of the coin where they are able to invest with it too. Here in my country, it is legal to uses it and even offline stores started to accept it.

Hope here in my country bitcoin can be use also in many ways paying restaurants do on shopping and transact to any offline business too,.crptocurrency now is demand and many of us use this to convert money,but hopefully we can use this automatically as payments and buying to all stores d restaurants.

I think you are earning great profit out of your investment and trading on crpytocurrency the reason you can say that but I think it is different from these merchant, vendors or store owners.

My mother owns a small store and it is great since you can get small profits out of it and you can make your store bigger and bigger slowly. Owners save their money in order to be used for their family and the improvement of their business. Saying that, think of it, how would these merchants or owners save their money with Bitcoin having a declines every now and then? They are different from these investors and traders that can wait for the price to pump, they will have some emergencies and they will be needing money quickly and cryptos will not help them.

In Japan there are many 8 story high brick stores named Bicamara which take payment through Bitcoin. And they have everything, except for food.

It depend on a country you are residing. The wealthy nations like USA,Germany and Japan had a lot of offline stores that offers bitcoin as mode of payment. Other countries might have only few offlines stores that uses bitcoin because it is yet widely used in that places. But if these countries decides to legalized bitcoin, the coin's adoption will be quick and many offline stores or businesses will add bitcoin in their mode of payment.

A few months back I read a story that Brazil has the largest number of stores that accepts bitcoin as a payment method for offline stores. If USA and other countries are having growing number of stores that accept bitcoin then it is an awesome news as this adds to more adaption of bitcoin and also a good PR to it. The African countries are also increasing in number in terms of bitcoin popularity and acceptance. The monetary system there is broken and the people are shifting to the more safer ways to transact.

to have the business in my country may be difficult because the government has not crushed the crypto currency as the prevailing currency even the government forbids direct transactions with crypto currencies, I think it is very difficult to do business

I do not have any offline or even online business which the payment is crypto butt I knew that there are lot of stores that accept crypto as a payment. The first one is the online shop in facebook. It is an electronic gadget shop then later on as I read in this forum I've read that there is a coffee shop, restaurant, pizza store, etc which are all accepting cryptos. This year (I can't remember the exact date) I've a read from a foreigner that the Philippines has a store which the foriegner buy some food and he/she paid the food with bitcoin.

I do not have any known establishment here in our country or place that accept cryptocurrency or bitcoin as a mode of payment. This because it is so hard to decide the market price of the certain product with bitcoin chaging its market price value from time to time. Besides, there is a problem with the transaction fee of bitcoin when convert to cash. This will be shoulder of course to the buyer and this will make the item more expensive. So buying products and services should be done using fiat money. Bitcoin could be used but it should be understood between parties before doing transactions.

WHat OP is asking are OFFLINE payments from stores things that maybe less offering from our community as we know that we are relying on the internet to make transactions safe and secure,making this via offline is different thing.but maybe there are some that offers same as thisi am just not familiar about who they are

There are so many merchants worldwide accepting bitcoin, In my Area there is petrol pump and restaurant  that accepts bitcoin payment for fuel and food.

If we actually want to look at the big picture in a global perspective, it is not yet that much, but there is always a start to everything actually, and I believe as time goes on, we will get to see more of them as well as more big merchants seeing the need to want to make use of cryptocurrency as payment method.

So far, for those who are using it, it is possible they are really finding a way to still convert to fiat due to the level of volatility, but at least, for the fact that they are making it usable, will really help to pitch it out more to the world in the long run

There are stores that really accept bitcoin as payment for their good or services but i think they are advertising it much especially if their country is regulating cryptos. Offline stores that accept crypto is a good example that a cashless society will be possible in the coming years.

Will maybe in the other country they could accept bitcoin as a part of payment system,just like the country of japan or some european country,but here in my own homeland that belong in a thirds world country they have no transaction here or offline bussiness thats could not accept bitcoin,however we could not close the door thats soon its would accept bitcoin payments.

in my country there is no offline store that accepts payments using bitcoin. in my opinion if there is an offline store that uses payment with bitcoin, it will be difficult for people who do not understand and do not have bitcoin, except if the store accepts two payments, namely payment with bitcoin and with fiat money.

Here our country there is rumors that before there is a store here who accept Bitcoin as a payment but due to highly volatile they stop using on it. Name of the store is Mc Donalds, I don't know they will still accepting Bitcoin as a payment until now.

These stores or businesses that accept bitcoin as payment are really investing for the future. They are taking the risk of accepting bitcoin. They want to be bitcoin holders, and believing its value might be 10 times in the future. This is just similar to mining, excpet that this time the cost is the product. In mining the cost is the electricy and equipments.

I do not have business but there are seeking me stores offline that actually accepts bitcoin as payment. It is easier to transact where you do not need a cash on hand and not afraid that you could lose it. It is good to know that my country accepts crypto already but not all people knows about the existence of it. For the price it has today, it is not fine to used it for payment but wait for the price to rise up so it can be worth to used.

I think in other country there offline store already accept bitcoin as a payment but in my country it is not legal and we can only use our bitcoin in online store. In my country and that is Philippines there are now few offline stores here that are accepting cryptocurrencies and bitcoin as a payment transaction because our government here in the Philippines do not see bitcoin as an illegal activity, even there are a lot of people here who had been a victim of scams.

I have never met any store or a restaurant that accept Bitcoins or some other cryptocurrencies. However, I have read that in some casinos they do it. You can gamble for BTC or Ethereum - it depends on a casino.

In my experience, i haven't seen any of it. Most of the companies that actually accept Crypto currencies are internet services and premium content websites. Outside that, i haven't seen any. But I've seen news that in Thailand, you'd see stores that accept crypto currency so that it s a plus in my book.

I guess there are some business around that are accepting bitcoins or cryptocurrencies as payment, but I havent really seen one yet personally. I think that kind of system is  gonna be a head ache, we all know that cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, which means the price is definitely gonna be a huge problem as you are gonna change price every single day.

Due to lack of stability, only brave people would try to start a business that accepts bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Businessman won't risk on bitcoin if there are a much more stable currency, which is fiat when running an offline business. But maybe there are, in countries where it is not illegal, but I assure you a doubt is running on their mind. Whether they will continue or not.

Offline shops? I guess you mean real life establishments. If so then for sure there are plenty of stores accepting btc in your are or in your region at least. Just learn to research and get updated with your fellow crypto investors if they found one.

Here in the Philippines, there are resto bar, pastry shop, meat shop etc. accepting crypto as a form of payment. Well, crypto is not on its optimum level yet and currently more active in online applications but I it would become even popular if we support it further :).  

Sure, and it was pretty surprising! I have seen an ad in the window of a small flower shop that they accept Bitcoin. To me, it was almost shocking as Bitcoin is not that widely known and built out in my country. Even more surprising, that it was in a relatively small town with maximum of 15k people living in it. i dont have store, but in my country many store accept bitcoin as payment. there are many store like that. and member of this forum, open some store and he try to accept crypto as payment. and he count how many customer pay with crypto. and they support about what he do.

They are always scare of the monster called Bitcoin because of it volatility and also, it usability in the real world. No. I don't have, but in my country here in the Philippines, even bitcoin is still not yet legal there are still few stores here who accepts bitcoin as a payment because they also invested their money in bitcoin too for us to have a fast transaction. So if every stores will accept bitcoin as payment they will not have any difficulties in giving change and picking up the money.

I would be glad to have my own business which will accept any type of cryptocurrency maybe top 30 for example, because it's easier to sell it on market, but also I would be easier if there will be any type of automatic exchange systems, which will convert cryptocurrency to normal currency instantly after payment was completed, of course +10-15% to no lose on liquidity

you are right with what you are presenting at this time in my country, transactions directly with crypto currencies are prohibited by the government or in other words the crypto currency has not been fully inaugurated by the government as the applicable currency in my country

I think the only key is to give an automatic conversion system to fiat so that price fluctuations from bitcoin will not burden to the

For me yes this is right because there are a lot of stores which are accepting bitcoin as payment but still in different areas where bitcoin is well known, I do not know about such stores in different countries which are accepting bitcoin as payment, but hope that very soon we will also become able to use bitcoin as for payment in our local stores nationwide and hopefully global.

I think there are several stores that accept bitcoin in paying services and products. But I never encounter any of them. Just like some of you i am also hoping that many of stores from different country accepts bitcoin in making transactions. Some of us may think that its impossible for other people to understand and accept bitcoin but I know someday there will be huge and famous stores or even services that will use bitcoin. But of course there will be some stores especially local stores that will not accomodate bitcoin. Its because they are not familiar with it.

Although there were not many but it was proven to be there, and when they did the transaction they did it clandestinely because they were worried this action would be considered wrong by a third party especially by people working in government agencies. As time goes on, it seems that this condition will be more widespread and more and more done by many people, and eventually will force the government to legalize its use, IMO it can happen if the government is willing to open its eyes and its heart.

There is no risk by accepting Bitcoin as a currency for any business. If you are thinking about the volatility and losing money then it isn't a risk for businesses. The bitcoins are most of the time converted automatically in fiats, and prices are adjusted depending in the BTC's prices.

The main problem isn't about accepting Bitcoin as a currency to pay, the problem is there is no demand, so why a shop shall start to implement BTC in its business.

I think in the next few years or future farther away, offline stores can not accept bitcoin as a payment method, the government is a huge wall, they always block bitcoin's contact with the store because they know bitcoin is a money-laundering tool and can not be managed, they do not collect taxes and, moreover, they are obliged to solve the problems that bitcoin can create. And with such issues, they will surely prohibit offline stores from accepting bitcoin, this is very common in countries in the present time

Unless the volatility will discourage me from doing that and, cause nobody would like to sell their product and accept payment and by the end of the day when you’re about to do calculations you find out that money is missing and that’s all because price has dropped, lol.

This issue with the governments can be solved if we enforce the government collectively to focus on this currency. We have to work for the Bitcoin and have to use only that if all of the people from the whole country will demand for the Bitcoin usage then the governments will not ban it as they work for the benefits of their citizens.

In our part of the world, Crypto currency is mainly accepted in internet based services like premium content and such. But offline, i haven't heard of any in our neighborhood. I heard that it is bustling in Thailand to attract more tourists in, but they accept top and main coins and not crao coins.

I think the first world countries just started accepting bitcoin as payment to some of their restaurants, but I have never heard of these kind of news again since the market went crashing this year. Most of the third world countries are still in the learning stage when it comes to cryptocurrency, and I think its gonna take those countries a lot of time before they accept bitcoin as payment in some of their stores.

I think we're eventually heading towards a global and virtual decentralized marketplace. You'll be able to check out what you're buying in VR and have extremely fast drone delivery. If you want to buy an experience, you'll be able to do that in VR. It's adoption is heavily being pushed and the combination of technologies makes this almost inevitable from my perspective.

Not in my country. My country still ban bitcoin if used as payment in merchant. Beside that merchant must be wait for government regulation and i am believe if regulate issued by government, many merchant will happy to accept bitcoin because its getting more popular in my country

There are a lots of stores that are accepting bitcoin even if it is an offline and online transactions . They provide bitcoin holders and users to use there bitcoin in a hassle free.

They just display the QR code infront of their pos machines so their customers can easily pay them off w/ bitcoins.

Here in my country, bitcoin adoption is still slow but some merchants are starting to offer cryptocurrency as a mode of payment both online and offline. Government have already given licenses to several crypto exchanges even the bitcoin is not yet legalized. A non government organization initiated a coastal clean up and offers ethereum as a payment to those who to want the clean up. It means the use of cryptocurrency as payment is spreading in my country although it is not fast.

There are stores abroad that accepts bitcoin as payment already but of course they are only few. @Mhd-Bobbi is right, in order to process cryptos and bitcoin successfully, a working internet connection is needed. In short, accepting bitcoin as payment offline is not possible. At this point, using btc payment is hard to implement because not all countries accepted it plus the fact that there are countries who have poor Internet connection like here in the Philippines.

This is possible if Bitcoin is declared legal in your country in which for sure people will going to find ways of how to earn Bitcoin like in Japan and Germany in which the Bitcoin tax is very cheap to zero that even myself will think of any business and will accept Bitcoin payment for good.

I don’t play such games with my business, it is risk, especially for an offline business. If I decide to invest in Bitcoin then I will make out money to invest in it, but not telling my customers to make payment in Bitcoin, nah that can’t happen.

I don't have a business that accepts bitcoin payments. But in my city there are several places that accept payment with bitcoin. Like in my city there is a car rental that can pay with bitcoin, besides that there is one supermarket that can make payments with bitcoin. In my area bitcoin has been used to receive payments and I see some people have started using bitcoin as a payment tool. And I am sure that in other countries there have also been many shops that accept payments with bitcoin.

The development of Bitcoin and its payment system is very faster any country which start to adopt it can easily implement its payment system for their offline stores and it do not take years. All it need the support of its users and the promotion of it to other people around us.

An offline store is like the type of place where people do not have access to the internet and as a result to the crypto service. So I do not think that it is possible to use the crypto in an offline store as long as you do not have the internet services.

There are no stores or services which accept bitcoin as many lack  infrastructure of 24/7 availability of internet and maybe lack of knowledge of general public, which does not encourage merchants and shops to accept bitcoins. Also in many places bitcoin is illegal and cannot be used openly in the markets for payment method.

That is how things are going in my place as well. Despite having good potential, it is still not allowed to deal in or invest in the coins let alone do the online shopping with the Bitcoin.

I can see the improvement of bitcoin especially in some businesses where they allow to use it as digital money or currency. In my countries some fast food chains and convenient store are now started to accept bitcoin. For Japan, bitcoin payments are undoubtedly a pioneer country that accepts btcoin to grow. For now, in my city no one has taken Crypto as a payment tool, but sometimes fellow friends will exchange coins as needed, but if there is no shop using Crypto for payment.

I am an offline clothing store owner who accepts cryptocurrency as payment. I accept Bitcoin and ethereum for payment at my clothing store. I will also plan to open a coffee shop that accepts cryptocurrency as a payment at the coffee shop that I have.

I believe there are but very few of those stores, let's say 0…5% so far and they are not even known as I am yet to come across an offline store that accepts bitcoin as a payment medium.
Hopefully, such stores would increase and come to limelight .

You are lucky that you have few stores or car rental business where bitcoin is accepted as a payment method. Unfortunately many parts of the world including mine, bitcoin is not widely known and therefore we do not have any physical stores where we can spent the bitcoins.
