What is Tokenlab?

Tokenlab is an integrated system to create Tokens and assets on the Expanse.tech Blockchain. It includes the ability to start ICOs with smart contracts designed with time-locked distributions built in to protect investors from funds being dumped on the market. Tokenlab is also the first ICO of Tokenlab utilizing the LAB token that will be tradable and pay out a percentage of all new Tokens created by Tokenlab. For example, when Expanse creates the Votelock™ ICO on Tokenlab in the future, any holders of LAB would receive a percentage of Votelock tokens later. When anyone else creates an ICO using Tokenlab, token creators will have the option to airdrop their new token all LAB owners.

Are there expectations of profits?

The Token for Tokenlab (LAB), is being sold solely as a Token to use on Tokenlab for using Tokenlab as utility, as a virtual token, and not a currency. There are no expectations of profits whatsoever and the value of LAB Tokens will be determined by whatever prices the market deems it to be worth. LAB is not to be considered an investment and merely as a means to use Tokenlab and create ICOs in a safe and secure way.

Are there restrictions on buying LAB Tokens based on location?

There are no restriction on locations for buying LAB Tokens. Tokenlab is by Borderless Corporation in the USA and US sales will not be blocked by IP address. Borderless Corp will follow all rules and regulations and pay all applicable taxes. If you live in the USA or elsewhere you should be able to participate, however, please check your local laws and regulations of your state or country before purchasing.

What is the purpose of the LAB token?

The LAB Token will be the Token sold at the launch of Tokenlab and as the first crowdsale on Tokenlab. Tokenlab will be operational at this time, and after LAB Tokens are issued, new ICOs can start on Tokenlab. A fee of LAB is required to start any new ICO to prevent spam. This fee will be dynamic and based on levels of customization and change with market cap. LAB tokens will also function as a reward mechanism and a decentralized ownership stake in the Tokenlab project. Rewarding holders of LAB and LAB tokens will also be tradable on exchanges, to be announced, and as negotiated in the future.

Does it mean that it is not worth investing on LAB tokens if we don't intend to launch ICO's using Tokenlab ?

It just means we hired legal counsel, and with regulations, it is critical to present projects so as not to be considered securities, because if so, then only a few people would be able to buy and almost everyone would be excluded. This will be a tradable token with real world use, new tech ERC644, partners, and a low starting cap.

The idea of this project is very good, but I have a problem. Now the supervision is very strict. Many countries have banned ICO. What's the future of your project? Oh, I'm worried!. By the way, will you release airdrops in this project?

Due to SEC regulations, the creator of an ICO cannot advise on investment information to that project.

According to our metrics (estimated amounts people want to buy), there is a higher demand than available tokens for the Exclusive sale, 3x more demand than tokens for the first sale. So I would not worry too much about that. We will be advertising a lot more for the main sales. We have a great presence on Facebook and Twitter, but our Reddit presence is not that great, but we will simply use some paid advertising there later. (Plenty of articles to come down the road)

As for the situation in China, we are waiting on real news and to see what the actual situation is. There is a lot of manipulation that goes on in China so it is uncertain what the situation is for Chinese investors and ICOs at this time. If they are not allowing it, then investors in China should not participate. (It is quite unclear at this point what the actual truth is)

Yes,  Exclusive sale with 20% bonus, 1 LAB  = 0.08$, so current price of EXP = 3$, u will get 37.5 LAB tokens.
Then will start pre-sale with 10% bonus, 1 LAB will cost 0.09$, and main sale will be without bonus.

I talked to the devs about the Data field, and that is some option for future ICOs on Tokenlab so it is just removed from the instructions. (No point in confusing anyone) So don't worry about the Data field for the Tokenlab sale.

LAB is being priced in USD with the changing prices of crypto, $0.08 cents per token for the Exclusive Sale, then $0.09 cents and $0.10 for the final sale. So it is a balance, you can buy early for a nice discount but you will have to wait a bit, or you can buy later on for slightly more.

There will not be a countdown for the next sale, it will just start when ready and launch. Make sure to be signed up at Tokenlab.io if you want the notification for when it starts. This is also when the paid marketing begins so I am sure you will all be aware of it once it is going, as this is related to the devs and code it is up to them when they say they are ready. I can't give an exact date but in a few weeks most likely.

The instructions and news are about to come, but basically, for the next phase, you can buy right away with Expanse or Ethereum and then Bitcoin and Litecoin will be added shortly after. At the start of the next sale, there will be two different addresses, one for each Blockchain and you MUST send to the correct contract Blockchain address. That means only send ETH to the ETH address and EXP to the EXP address!

So if you are buying with Expanse, send to the Expanse address that will be provided when the next sale starts (VERY soon). If you are buying with Ethereum, then send to the ETH address. That is the most important thing to remember. Those buying with Ethereum will have to later import the backup into the Expanse Mist Wallet, very easy and instructions will be provided. If you are buying with Expanse you just have to enable viewing of LAB to see them.

LAB is not listed on myetherwallet. I searched using ctrl+f and manual one by one. Also the 0xa887adb722cf15bc1efe3c6a5d879e0482e8d197 when I try to add it says "Not a valid ERC-20 token"
It also states that its not checsumed probably meaning https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/addresses/not-checksummed-shows-when-i-enter-an-address.html the case is wrong. There are two versions of Ethereum addresses: one that contains uppercase letters and one that does not:

I think you got your math wrong, only 10m LAB has been sold so far including bounties and bonus. Likely 85m will be burn and supply will be only around 15m. And marketcap less then $1.5m.

I contacted expanse and they said they have raised around $1.5 million which is less than 15 million LAB tokens.Does anybody know why this has not gotten more interest?

You are really asked why? Did you check other icos? Most of the them ended with -50 -90 % from the ico price... investors are scared.

$1.5m is certainly enough money for us to get the product completed.

The main reason why ICO's lose all of their value - is a big marcketcap and "private investors" who bought token with 50% sale, but Tokenlab don't have big cap ( it will be around 2-3m$) and don't have private investors, everyone who bought during exclusive sale for 0.08$/LAB now have loss, as Bitcoin make x2 from that period, so they will not dump their tokens.

Dinc,you have no way of knowing what the market cap of TokenLAB will be.That will be decided depending on the amount of LAB that goes through exchanges and what people think it is worth.
TokenLAB's price might be fixed now,giving it a market cap of the $2-$3 million as you have said,but anything can happen.It could shoot up to $1 per token or down to 1c per token.

I hope TokenLAB's market cap will be fairly low and grow over time.Its a shame when new ICO's hit exchanges and everybody dumps just asap just to make a quick buck,which is fear.

I'm planning on getting more when it hits CryptoBridge exchange in Feburary too. The ICO price was 10 cents each coin, and it has a marketcap of 1.3 mill USD!

For Tokenlab they'll be listed to Cryptobridge next month! For Expanse they're on Bittrex and Poloniex and some others. They're both great projects and investments, I hold them both as well as Ven & ICX.

Expanse is also listed on Bleutrade, a solid exchange that suffers from low volume because people slander them & they don't fight back. Hopefully they'll list LAB as well.

Here is an update on Token Lab and its relationship with CryptoBridge.  They are working on integrating an Expanse node so LAB can be listed . .

And also all future LAB clients tokens will be listed as well, (if I read that correctly)

CryptoBrisge is a good exchange, and I have faith that the Expanse node will be added and trading will begin there soon.

It might actually be helping us LAB holders, because by the time LAB is listed, the entire crypto market just might be done correcting and resume its track as a bull market. Just some thoughts.

Yeah with a 1.3 million market cap from the ICO, reaching 10x will be easy. It already has a very valuable working product and it's very undervalued. I think this project could do 50-100x this year.

What exactly is going on with this project? There is not much activity on twitter, and the website just redirects to crowdsale page with information that it ended. Will you redo the site in the near future? Where can we read the updates about the project?

Also, the marketing of the overall project is really nonexistent and the DROPD ICO has almost no contributions at all, you should really get your marketing going.

Oh, and one more question, is there any use for LAB tokens at the moment?

They've produced their first ICO already. They've got about as much activity as the other projects, they don't have updates every day. I'm sure they're going to redo the website, Expanse is getting it's website redone then it's probably gonna be Tokenlab. As for Tokenlab and an exchange addition, currently, Cryptobridge is in the process and we still anticipate they will add LAB and EXP to their exchange this month. “Our relationship with EXP and LAB is important and valuable to us. We are very excited to list EXP and LAB tokens with various pairs, including BCO. We are delayed, but no less sincere or enthusiastic about where we are headed together.” We are also excited as decentralized exchanges are the future, and Cryptobridge looks very promising, and we can certainly help them with lots of attention and traders that would love to trade LAB. The new Expanse website is also on the way, as it has been, but priorities are what they are and the most important tasks had to be taken care of first, but it is coming.

It's supposed to be within this month, but Cryptobridge said they ran into some delays so maybe early March. Should be soon.  ;D

In today's live update it was confirmed that Tokenlab holders will receive EXP.LIFE airdropped to them, and other Expanse projects / ICOs. The companies that run ICOs on Tokenlab also have the choice to airdrop to LAB holders as well.

Its similar to what Binance does. they run ICOS and some of them airdrop to BNB holders. Helped their coin price nicely.

Great information! So, i only need to hold tokenlab tokens in my mew wallet and the tokens from the airdrop (exp.life) automatically comes to wallet? Or i have to registered my tokenlab tokens somewhere to get the exp.life token?? It would be nice if someone could explain it to me. I found not many information about it and i don't use telegram.

One more question, does balance check works for you? It just says loading for me and. I tried to check in MEW but nothing shows when i add token and switch to EXP network.

And EXP wallet gives me Node connection error when updating, can't even open it :/

It is expanse token so it don't need to be stored on independent wallets :) any safe  erc20 standard wallet will be good.
The other question is where LAB should be stored to receive airdrops?

Latest news, and more than one exchange is in process of adding Tokenlab, sorry for the delays. Tokenlab Tech is operational and being used, and you can trade on localbitcoincash for now until on exchanges.

Lol so much delays on that "exchange's issue"... only promises.. What is the problem? Seems like nobody gives a damn about this token.

Cryptobridge didn't deliver the listing on time so now they're trying to get listed on other exchanges but that takes time. It's just exchanges being difficult to work with and expensive, that's why Expanse is going to build it's own exchange.

based on that list token.store seems to be the best choice it has a similar name to tokenlab and could be a good partnership and it is 3 ethereum which is good because expanse is an ethereum clone and it is literally a website meant for ethereum tokens so all of those things seem to make that the best option and it seems like they really just started asking everyone in the past week so it should happen soon

then vicex is the first one on there and that is actually another ethereum clone and their thing like tokenlab on their blockchain is that they created an exchange so everyone should just go over to the victorium thread and let them know about the tokenlab project and ask them to get on board

I have just checked. They launched their ICO in september 2017, that was 9 months ago!!!!

 Almost an entire year and they didnt get on one half decent exchange.

I advice you to be careful with such unknown exchanges.
So LAB token still not listed on any change :-\

Fun fact: The thread name is "sale will begin Sept. 14th" -> in about 2 months time, that is an entire year. LAB did not manage to get listed an within an entire year. That must be a crypto unique thing. Even the worst coins in history have been able to get listed.

Unless...they were smart enough NOT to list it anywhere during the downtrend to avoid price dumping and are going to annouce listings onces bulls are back. If thats the case, that would be very smart.

The last statement seems to be resonable. I know some coins going out with such strategy to make more gains on a bull market.
 Hopefully tokenLAB is not abandoned.

It was clearly stated in the ToS that LAB was not an investment, that it had no monetary value, and that participants were agreeing to crowdfund software. It was also stated that no refunds of any kind would be given. We are upholding our end of the agreement. We are building the software we said we would build.

Yea man. It's completely outside the scope of our control. The crypto space is oftentimes a hostile place to be. But there is the BOA exchange so, if people think LAB is too expensive.. put lab on the sell side.. if they think its too cheap, they can place a buy order.

and for example if I create a token called TokenToken and get the price to $0.001 cents (1/10 of a penny each) in exchange for EXP on the exchange and you create a token called CoinToken 2 weeks after I make mine and I get TokenToken to $0.001 so yours is $0.00 on day 1

if I trade 10 TokenTokens for 1 CoinToken then your token is now $0.0001 each and has a value and people with TokenTokens and CoinTokens can trade each other as the price changes between them and the trades themselves will change the price and more people create tokens and we do the same thing bringing value to each others tokens

and anyone who gets in early will be early adopters and after 6 months or a year there will be more and more users creating more and more tokens but ours will be the original tokens on the platform and will already be established by that time bringing more value to our tokens

Currencies, both fiat and crypto, don't actually contain any value they  simply represent value. They are called Trade Instruments, meaning,  instruments that facilitate trade. Stocks are an example of trade  instruments that aren't money, they have no actual value but they  represent a share of a company and the company itself does the work that  turns the profits that gives a share its theoretical value. All trade  Instruments work along the same lines: Fiat is traded by banks and  Foreign Exchange companies, Stock is traded on Stock Exchanges such as  the New York Stock Exchange and Cryptocurrencies are traded on various  Cryptocurrency Exchanges. All of their values are representations of  real things, for example Stocks Represent created and distributed goods  and services by a particular company, while fiat currency represents  created and distributed goods and services of a nation. Both change  based on industrial/technological/scientific/developmental/etc.  advancements within those companies or nations, as well as various  factors such as trade volume and inflation. It is best to trade your  trade instruments at the highest value possible and use them to buy real  items, such as: Precious metals, Livestock, Software, Machines,  Produce/Seeds, Land, Realestate, etc and then use those to get more  trade instruments.

Politics can effect a nations Currency or Stock Market. For example, when Mosul was taken over by ISIS and all of the Gold in the Bank of Mosul was taken, and the Investment Opportunities went bleak, their Money became much less Valuable, even though after the fall of Sudam Hussein the British Government just printed the Country of Iraq new Notes. The opposite of that can be seen in 2 ways, and that situation can also be compared to the effect of a Cu-De-Ta on the Currency or Stocks. But the opposite would be Vietnam, who had a Civil War that America got way too involved in, and then at the end opened up their Markets and their Currency did well and Investment in Vietnam continues to be good. A Similar effect is Trump. The people with a lot of Money and Stocks and Companies on the Stock Market in America, all just got Tax Breaks, so they are willing to spend more, and take bigger risks, and they all trust Trump not to do them wrong because he came from the same Environment as them.

Then, an example of something similar but not exactly the same, is Brexit. When Brexit happened, everyone panicked. Stock Markets dropped in America, as well as Britain and Asia, and then the British Pound went down in value. That was not good for Britain, because anyone with savings, or anything, had money that was worth less than it was the day before on the Global Market. But that was good for everyone else, because you could buy British Pounds, and you would get more of them than usual for USD. So you could go on vacation in Britain and get things for Cheaper if you were starting with USD. Or, you could buy British Pounds and wait for them to go up in value.

Trade volume is how many people are buying and selling a particular currency or stock. The more people who are buying it, the higher the value will rise.

An example of Inflation is when the United States starts printing too much money. When this happens a dollar starts being worth less, which in turn means it will take more money to buy the same materials. For instance, if you go to the store and one day Milk is $3/Gallon but then you go a few months later and notice it is $5/Gallon, this is because of inflation. Inflation also drives things like the minimum wage and social security checks, which are usually based on the cost of living. Cryptocurrencies with no cap will eventually inflate into eternity and lose value, unless they have a high trade volume.

Supply and Demand is the comparison of how many people want something against how many their are of that thing. For example, when Apple creates a new IPhone the value is higher than it really should be and as the technology slightly or drastically ages, the value goes down.

A Whale is a person who has a large quantity of a certain trade instrument and uses that to effect the markets. For example, if someone has 51% of a particular stock they could either sell them all quickly which would bring the value of that stock down, or they could hold on to all of them which makes them more rare and makes them more valuable.

Bubbles are when something is artificially high in value, 2 examples of this are: IPhones as mentioned before, and Gasoline. Gasoline raises in value based simply on the speculation that “one day we might run out”, this creates bubbles which raises prices.

Bulls and Bears

This is a lot more simple than people think before getting into it. Bulls strike upwards, with their Horns, so that represents someone who makes money buying Stock when they see that a Market is doing well and is likely to do better. That way they can make an investment, and it is likely to go up and they can sell soon after and make a profit.

Bears strike Downwards, with their Paws and Claws, that represents someone who makes money as the Market goes down. So when you are scared, because you spent $5 per Stock or per Coin, and now it is $4, and you want to get out before you lose any more money. The Bear will buy your Stock, or Coin, and will wait for it to go back up later. So he profits on the Fear of others, or on temporary situations like Brexit, etc. A Bear doesn’t look for a Stock that is doing good and will do better, a Bear looks for a Stock that has done good long term, and is not doing well at the moment, but is likely to bounce back.

Then that brings us to the Bear Whales, Buy Wall and Sell Walls of the Cryptocurrency World. A Bear Whale is someone who has maybe 50,000 or 100,000 Bitcoins, maybe more, and they decide they are going to drop 50% to 90% of that on the market, to kill the “Buy Wall”. A Buy Wall is all the people who have said “I will pay X price” but that price was below the last price that it was sold for on the Market.

So say I am selling my Coins, and I want $1 each, but you put a Buy Order up for $0.90 cents each, I might sell my Coins to you. But if there are 5,000 people trying to buy it, they may have Buy Orders at $0.99 cents, and $0.98 cents, so your $0.90 one may take a long time to get filled, or may never get filled if the coin goes to $5 each, and $10 each. But if someone comes on the Market, and drops enough Coins on everyone to get to $0.90 cents, and even $0.80 cents, and $0.50 cents. That scares the shit out of everyone, and they sell their Coins, which makes it worse, because now they are selling into the Buy Wall, and dropping the price even lower.

And the Bear Whale buys all your Coins at the bottom, so instead of 50,000 or 100,000. Now he has 200,000 or 1,000,000 Coins

Just as an example. If the Bear Whale starts sales at $1, and you have a buy order for $0.95 cents, and he sells to everyone that wants Coins for $1, and he sells down to you at $0.95 cents, then sells down to $0.80 cents. You might sell your Coins to him at $0.80 cents out of Fear, and he may have sold that exact Coin to you for $0.95.

And if you were buying $500 worth at $0.95 cents, you might sell all of those to him at $0.80.

The first post explains Trade Instruments and compares Crypto to Fiat to Stocks, but something else needs to be pointed out. You have probably heard of the phrase "Liquid", cash is "Liquid", Bitcoins are "Liquid". Gold is not Liquid, you can not go online and buy things using your Gold Bars. You can not use Cows to buy things at the Store, you can not use Oil to buy things. These things are not liquid, they are not Trade Instruments, they are Commodities. You use your Liquid, Trade Instruments, to buy Commodities, Land, Machines, Services, Software, etc.

Once we are creating currencies and they have value, and even if, for example, my currency is worth $0.00 but FRK's is worth $0.10 each or $1 each, I might have some of FRK's from when his started at $0 and he did an Airdrop, or when they were $0.001 but now they are $0.10 or $1. We can all start going on OpenLedger and creating Assets and have EXP community members using both Tokenlab and OpenLedger, sone members could also start creating Steemit type coins using the Graphene Blockchain via HyperLedger Fabric. So the trades will be not only betweem EXP users on the PEX, but across various blockchains using our new found capital. Some EXP users could also start creating Ethereum Tokens, or current ETH Token developers may start using Tokenlab and the PEX.

So once we all have this Capital from Tokenlab, we can start crossing Blockchains. And we can all start profiting from cross pollination, and share our new Tokens, Assets, Blockchains with each other. Even here in this chat.

Haha yea, thats what it always boils down to. Making it in their best interest to list. They either think they will make enough off of listing it for free or they will charge a fee. It's kind of bonkers really. To list expanse or any expanse tokens would be like $120/year. So VERY little risk, and huge upside potential but they are all addicted to that big money.

Once you have Capital in the game, you can use it to buy Ethereum to pay for Ethereum Gas prices to launch your own Token, and your Token could be traded for PGL. So an Asset/Stock type Token you own could be traded for ETH and PGL, and you could invest back in the game to earn more PGL to cash out, or you could just trade your Token on the market with PGL users as a pool of buyers. And they could use your Token to trade against PGL.

Is there a list of places you want people to go email to get the Tokens listed?

I am sorry to bump an old thread, but I promoted Token Lab and the Developer stopped the project so I feel that the EXP users who were waiting for the Token Lab platform deserve to be show an alternative that now exists
