the world is book and those who do not travel read only one page. What you people think about traveling is worthy for life or not?
i am in love with travelling because in the end we only regret the chances we didn't take.

Chewed out quote but nonetheless true. I hope to hit the road soon again, I backpacked for a while and returned home. I can't adjust back anymore. Once you start you can't quit.
The lifestyle is so different and everyday becomes an adventure. I'm looking forward to hitting the road once more.

I totally agree with you. I also like travelling very much. When I will travel, I never forget my tent and sleeping bag. It makes travel more adventurous. You can sleep under stars and meet new people and their cultures. So there are so many stories that you can tell people.

I know a family with four children who have traveled over 62 countries in the last 12 years ... I admire such people .... how many impressions and inspirations for the realization of the goals ...

I'm always one to attack absolute statements about the correct way to live, and this one that I will indeed attack! I think that making a claim like "to travel is to live" is to suggest that people who cannot afford to travel don't live, which just isn't true. People find real meaning within their own communities. similar to how you derive meaning from travel. There are different ways to experience life and find meaning, and travelling is merely one of them.

Also, if "to travel is to live" then pretty much nobody except travelling merchants and the wealthy every truly "lived" before 1930, which is quite the claim to make.

It's unbelievable, too many countries, such a big family. One can think that this is what to live for...
But I still can't believe that travelling with 4 [ f o u r  ] children is easy and brings real joy. It's not only great experience but a hard labour as well

I'm also curious about this. How well is bitcoin accepted in different countries? It would have been a great help for tourists not having to convert money, especially if they are visiting multiple countries in the region. Those visiting Europe is just fine since they all use the euro but what if you want to travel instead to SE Asia? You'd be needing to exchange money each time you get to a new country.

What's the problem? Now, there are Bank cards that work worldwide. What's stopping you to use them? It seems to me that bitcoin is still too early to use for these purposes. Although sometimes we are lazy to swing our steps, because the fatigue that whack. Sometimes we can become angry with the circumstances we are experiencing, because we feel embarrassed. It all depends on how you travel. Try going somewhere on foot or by bicycle and you'll learn another meaning of exhaustion. I remember being so tired once that once I took a seat It took me less than a minute to fall asleep.

It is great to travel cause travel makes you alive. The thing about traveling is that your financial situation must be good and that is sad. It is common that rich people travel a lot and they do that only cause of good financial status. I have traveled to few places and I would travel even more if I have time and money. Travel is life itself and if you have money travel while you can, cause old age will come soon and you will regret your past.

Ever since I was in college I would travel. I love go on adventures since my parents often travel and bring me with them. I've been to Africa, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Bhutan, Italy, Paris, and America. I never felt harassed or discriminated during ym travels. I agree with you, I had the privileged to have lived in Japan for 2 years and in France for 1 year after I returned back to my home country. Especially in Japan experiencing such a different culture and meeting people with different views on life, love, money, work,... helps you put things in perspective and helps you to make you discover yourself. I really fell in love with some of the aspects of the Japanese culture, while other aspects i did not like at all (work-life balance, their view on sexuality, ...)!

Lucky for you but if the statement "to travel is to live" is literal, then i maybe dead a long time ago. Its good that we have the internet nowadays, if your purpose of travelling is to see the world and learn their culture then you can do it at the comfort of your homes using the internet, but alas, you would not be there to experience it first hand.

Last night I was watching the “Amazing Race” show (a show where couples travel around the world, compete against each other resolving different clues to continue on their journey), and while they were in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the clues was to memorize a poem of Worlds famous Danish author, poet, and fairy tale writer, Hans Christian Andersen, who among many others remarkable fairy tale stories also wrote “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, “The Princess and the Pea”, “The Little Mermaid” and “The Ugly Duckling”. These children stories remain even today very popular and are widely read across the globe.

Traveling is important - especially when you're young. But maybe it's worth noticing that you also have to be awake while travelling to make the most of the experience. I know people who travel and still remain the same - they don't really understand what they see, they just still judge everything through a very narrow looking glass.

I think it really depends on how you define travelling. There are times (increasingly less now) that I go on vacation chasing the "must sees" and I end up feeling exhausted and not being able to appreciate the place and culture as much as I wish. So I have come to decide that traveling for me is not as important as is living in a foreign place for more than 1 month. Living on a farm, with a family or in a city with strangers. Not had any stress traveling thus far, I do it with my partner and it is fun. Travelling for me is my dream. I really want to.travel and explore the whole world. Particularly, the city of Paris in the country of France. But, here in the my country, as I explore some of the amazing place here, I just realized that I should explore first my beloved country before other countries. It is nice to travel also if you want to travel all of the world together with your love ones, i suggest to have an list of goals. In that way you can list the countries you want to go while you are young.

I think this old thing "to travel is to live" is dead now. With the globalization, every capital country seems to be the same. Moreover, I don't see how traveling in different country like a tourist allow you to improve yourself. I would say that the key is in libraries. To read is to live nowadays.

Real travelling is expensive and even dangerous nowadays. But you don't need to visit other countries to get an unique experience. There's an Internet and computer games. Therefore you can choose how to travel in your own way to get impressions.

To travel is to explore different amazing and extraordinary places. To be able to meet fabulous people from all over the world and be more aware of their cultures. If ever my earnings in campaigns will permit it, i'm planning to take my whole family on a travel adventure. Somewhere we can build some lasting memories.

True,. Traveling is fun... But then again not everyone likes to travel. I myself only get out of the house for groceries. Others have a different but meaningful pursuit in their lives. People i know would rather improve themselves be it physically, mentally or spiritually. Others dives in their career and choose to improve that, others family. In the end, we must do what we want in this lif, be it traveling or spending time with your loved ones. It's a matter of priorities

Travelling is the best ever. Apart from the fact that we get to meet new people, there is this feeling of accomplishment that comes with travelling that cannot be overstated. The real journey is not from point A to point B, the journey is what happens in between, that is where the fun lies.

travelling makes me more calm, i love the nature. living and feeling it is so good. Meeting new people gives me hapiness and the diversity of all the people in earth shows the beauty we all have.
