So bitcoin recently busted through the $6,000 mark once again. ( currently at $6,350 )

Do you think that it will continue to rise the way it has been the last few days or are we in for another market correction/dip in the oncoming week?

Could pump again when the masses begin the dump their BTG if they pump that money to increase their bitcoin holdings.

One thing is certain, no one will be able to provide a reliable prediction because neither technical nor fundamental analysis has been proven dependable with Bitcoin.   What we have is a lot of speculation, which isn't worth much, and past performance, which is worth more.  We can depend on Bitcoin having many more "corrections" as some call them, and many more spurts also.  It is the kind of thing that can really frustrate a trader, but a longer-term investor should stay calm, buy (if he can afford to) on the dips and stay the course.

It will always go up and down, however in general until the split it will most definitely increase in value as people will be wanting their free Segwitx2 coins after the upcoming fork... After that is a different story all together...

Yes actually bitcoin's price is around 6350$ and this is awesome. I think the price will keep increasing in the next weeks and months , and Bitcoin will hit at least $8k by the end of this year, if not higher level.
Lets just wait and see , because the price still volatile and going up and down.

I believe the price of BTC will go up because of the upcoming segwit2x hard fork, after that BTC will have a correction, maybe will go down to $5700 and then it will jump back. to $6ks range.

it can rise up more. today's rise seems to be the start of a big rally actually if the speculation is correct.
they speculate that it has something to do wit the recent news about CME planning to launch a bitcoin market for traders. i don't really have enough information about what it is but it sounds like a bit news to me from what i have read. you can read about it here:

Definitely it will increase in future market. Because lot of users and traders are invest in Bitcoin. So demand of Bitcoin also increase and currency value also increase. In future all the government are accepted in cryptocurrency. All the peoples are need to buy a Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. That day so many demands in Bitcoin. Before we invest to Bitcoin is better for the future.

Expect there's a correction for this rate but I don't know and can't see it on when that is about to happen. But let's just enjoy the greener week as the alts are also in red mode.

Before the hard fork, price will increase many don't want to miss the fork by transferring their alt profits to bitcoin so it will result to bitcoin pump some more.

And after the hard fork, I think that's the time we will see it's correction but after that correction the price will be green again.

Yes i think it can reach 10k at the end of this year because it will probably get a big pump on Christmas or new year and my plan is to sell the most of my bitcoins at that time and keep some if bitcoin even becomes bigger then my predictions.

Yes it is no surprise now as the bitcoin hard fork pops in the prices of bitcoin starts fluctuating. For getting the BTG people went crazy investing into bitcoin last week and thats why it brought the prices all upto 6000 USD. Now as we approach to mid month of November it is getting very easier for people to invest money into bitcoin in the want that they will earn fee forking coin. :-)

Thats its, that is the hot point which making bitcoin grow very big in first place and this will continue the day before hard fork when the exchangers and wallets will stop the transaction for while and for the purpose of blockchain upgrades. So yeah it will cross the 7K mark too.

Another fork is coming on Novemember which is thought to be one of the most controversial one and it can divide bitcoin community noticeably, not like bitcoin gold or bitcoin cash.

People seem to be buying because of high speculation and I think current pump will continue till the actual fork date.

We may expect to see a major correction of price. I also hope bitcoin will grow but the sudden rise of trice must go down don't you think?

We thought it will come down after fork but it is still increasing don't know what the exact reason.

Did I read recently, but the day before yesterday based on my own time zone is not recently but its no longer news that bitcoin will surpass that range with everybody expecting it to happen while some pessimists are of the opinion that the recent drawback is for the worse but now everybody is happy both the optimists and the pessimists. Several factors can be traced to what is happening but in my opinion it's unconnected to the launch tomorrow and the fork of later in the month.

It seems to me that today's pump turned on the news that Amazon might will begin to accept bitcoin. This news may have more impact than the ban of China on the cryptocurrency. If this is true then price will never be lower than 6000$. But I'm higher prices are cool. We are still at the beginning and bitcoin is not the last time shows this result.

Price wise we cannot confirm say that time amount will retain for the long period even last time bitcoin stands on the very short stablity in the price chart. I would like to see the bitcoin price is above 7k usd in this year end. I do not think there is any more coin is gonna splitted out again in this year. There are many expecting adoption in future days. We will find any amount in the future.

I think we are about to see another pump . It could go above 7k  really quick but let's wait at see what the next hours/days will bring. Don't forget that bitcoin needs a big corection after all this bull run ends.

we all want those free coins and the more you have the more you get.
next question is will there be a correction after the fork? probably.

To be a bit more realistic, the 'lot of users and traders' are just a really low percentage (or less) of the people... Bitcoin needs to reach the mass adoption, in order to gain enough trust and stabilize the growth of the price (to get the price less volatile, smaller dumps and also smaller drops in the uptrend). But until then we'll have higher pumps and huge dumps as well.

I personally think that it should overall keep going up,  although in the oncoming week it could easily go down again.

I also believe that we will see a value of $10,000 per by March of 2018. Especially with how the monthly price has been changing for the later part of 2017.

It's the optimal bitcoin growth ( many speculations say it keeps increasing till end of the year "where it will decreased " and it takes a new growth circle by beginning of 2018 , it's said bitcoin reaches 10k $ by Q1 or Q2 2018 ) this is a healthy growth of such strong currency

Yes, price will continue rising per week. I am expecting by next year that bitcoin price will range from $9,000 - $12,000.

So, if you have the budget, don't waste time and buy now and keep it until the price went high.

I agree with your speculation. 12,000 might be a bit high of an evaluation but it is definitely possible. Especially if we keep having these large pumps in price per month.

BTC price will surely go up and down this incoming weeks. And I'm hoping to see it on the 7k mark before the year ends.

Surely it will be a pump these weeks . Bitcoin is arounding to 5900 to 6500 and he is trying to overcome this limit . As many importants developers said bitcoin will reach this year minimum 10.000$

It is quit insure what will the hard fork that is coming up in november will have an influnece of the price, as developpers strugle to attract miners to start mining bitocin cash to secure its blockchain, it is hard to tell wether there will accept it or not as this was faced with a lot of criticism, but as always after all of the things that happen in the bitcoin comunnity it always manges to pick up and keep going up, and that is no different from this time.

How negatively do you think the hard fork will effect the price? I see some speculation that it will actually increase the price and some say the opposite.

I don't think we'll see big dip this week that would put us below 6k, if anything we could see a correction down to 6100$ or something around that number. This pump today was due the recent news about CME Group Inc disussing to launch bitcoin futures so, i don't think it will continue to rise at least for a couple days, then we'll see how the market reacts as we approach the hard fork. For now, if this 'new ATH every week' keeps going, then we could see 7k in November.

I wonder who is buying at these prices. I must admit, if I didn't already own bitcoin I wouldn't be buying now - I'd be looking at an alt which was cheaper and perhaps with more potential for gain.

Of course Bitcoin price will keep increasing :D. It has very good potential to reach to 10k$ maybe at the end of this year Bitcoin will reach to over 7k$ and 10k$ at the early of next year. Beside there are some predictions that Bitconi will reach to 10k$ in at least next 6 months but nobody know it's right or they will have to change their mind like some people predicted that Bitcoin only can reach to 3k$ at the end of this year :))

We're now heading to 7-8K these next days. By the end of this year it will reach 10K. Then with some ups and downs it will go to 20K or more. There's no stopping Bitcoin, now It's being recognized in the financial market.

The price of Bitcoin will continue to rise ahead of the upcoming fork,  there might be a little drop in price maybe below $6k till it surges up again towards the end of the year.

As I see it, this will continue to increase during the week.
Is this due to correction after fork? could be possible.
In this 1 week alone there has been an increase in bitcoin price of $ 400, since the beginning of Monday of +/- $ 5,975 until today Wednesday has touched on the price of +/- $ 6,300.

Just like your username, it is a goosebumps that the price of bitcoin is now up at $6,328. I believe that this is going to continue for a couple of days. But still it's hard to predict as every time I'm predicting about the price of bitcoin I'm upsetting myself because it was quite low chance of happening though the real happening is quite far from my expectation but its still positive to all of us.

The pump and dump on the price of bitcoin is very common. The price of bitcoin is pumping now.After the fork the price of bitcoin will attain the stable value. Many new investors are born today.This are the reason for the price of bitcoin is keeps on pumping. Good to see 6000$+ again.

I am not astonished by the recent movement of Btc even I am expecting this bullish momentum will continue to till 7500$ mark by the end of this year. But in my opinion according to my chart readings & on the basis of price action. I am expecting more rise in this week. We can expect dip in the second week of november because market correction will also happen after rally.

It will rise every day till next 1 year

Well I'm different and opposite feeling and I'm grateful with the price of bitcoin's movement. It's amazing to see that everyone is witnessing great value of bitcoin from time to time. I'm into dip also and preparing myself for it but I guess I don't have to prepare with it since we are used to it and it's like nothing compare with the opposite movement of bitcoin after those dips.

No not only next year but each year that's coming, price will increase most of the time because of different popular and big companies to accept bitcoin in their businesses.

Now there are many different opinions about the price of bitcoin. I do not know what to believe anymore. But I see how the price goes up and I hope that soon I will see 8000 dollars

When do you think an ideal selling price would be?

I can see bitcoin will rise to $7000-7500 this year ends. Probably we can see $8000 also, there are many speculation but let's see the movement in the market. Because I hope btc will rise even it dump little of the price.

It's really possible that we can reach that price at the end of the year. Bitcoin price has been spiking up lately and its only November and the price is now above $6000 and the looming Segwit2x is still far. So I'm speculating that around mid November, we are around $7000 by that time. So entering December which historical logs points to a a very bullish month, $7500 or more will be not that far. Let's see how everything pans out.

No one can really tell but my prediction is it will continue its bullish trend. I am hoping that more will anticipate and prepare for the next fork that will drive the price up. It can dip a bit for those who will take their profit before the fork but I am guessing that it will not affect the price too much and recover quickly. 

yeah, right. no one can predict with true bitcoin prices. I might think that once the bitcoin price will return to the price of $ 6000, but I do not know when. but, I wait for bitcoin prices in the hope that altcoin prices will go up.

Yeah I’m very excited about the bitcoin now a days. It has crossed the boundaries of any valuable asset in the stock exchange or in the solid market. I mean look at the volume of bitcoin investment, it is growing each day and there is no stopping of it. Im so happy that I kept y bitcoin which I bought at the rate of 3K USD and now look at the price chart its almost double which is my 2 fold profit of first investment.


If this continues then me and many of us will become rich personalities in no time. Lol. I mean juts holding 10-20 coins can make us billionaire and you will see the more hikes at the time of fork that is to be launched in November.

Yeah definitely  ever since the bitcoin gold is not very huge impact  to the people it will be the start of massive increase  of bitcoin again in the market. Those who invested in bitcoin gold will be starting to invest in bitcoin again and that will be the start of the price hike of bitcoin im the market.

Just last night it passed $6,500. So i believe that is a good sign of the price staying in the 6,000 range during the next correction.

I do not think that will happen. Look at this time that the price of Bitcoin has increased tremendously and currently Bitcoin price always has a positive trend, so we do not worry there is some news saying that bitcoin price will decrease. Bitcoin prices are not very stable, but we can see that Bitcoin Prices have always experienced a remarkable increase over the past few days. This should be maintained until finally at the end of the year we can see the price of Bitcoin is above the 8000 $ range.

You can only be rich if there is someone willing to buy your coins at an inflated value.

Bitcoin has pumped too fast - it was $1000 in jan and is now around $6500. Yet the number of transactions per day has only grown from about 250,000 to 300,000. Something doesn't add up.

On October, 30 it reached even $6 300! I can imagine the triumph of those ones, who mine this cryptocurrency for several years and who were enough patient not to sell BTC.

I am not sure it will grow extremely fast, but everything will depend on the financial education of the population.

with the presence of newcomers or people who want to invest in bitcoin.
actually bitcoin is a long term investment.
because the value and price of bitcoin is designed to always increase over time.
with the volume of bitcoin always rising in every day, then certainly bitcoin prices will continue to increase in the future.

We are now at $6,500 but this is still not the floor nor the ceiling. And if you are still waiting for the dip, $6,000 is a good amount to buy and don't wait for some lower price or else you'll get old waiting for that moment and your expectation to that lower price will be wasted. Many are waiting for the price to get down before at $4,800 when we are about to reach $6,000 but it never happened since $5,000 was the floor price before. $5,500 - $6,000 can be considered as good time to buy.

But that's the thing, how do you gauge that speculative potential?  The alts have almost no past performance information to guide your investing.  Theoretically an alt might have more potential solely because it is comparatively cheaper, but that is pure speculation when compared to Bitcoin's fantastic track record.

That is because the reality of the situation is that there is no connection between Bitcoin's level of general acceptance or usage and its price.  There are no fundamentals that can be demonstrated to be significant drivers of the price.  There is always speculation that this or that piece of news drove the price up or down, and sometimes we can see a possible connection, but we can be sure that how widely adopted Bitcoin usage is at any given time is NOT a driver of its price.

As of now the price of bitcoin is already 6500 dollars and im very happy because they already reach that price. For sure it will continue to increase and maybe we see the price of 7k dollars this month so if you have extra money invest now in bitcoin to make more profit.

It is almost at $6700 now. If you are talking about November then $7000 is very much possible. 2017 has been by far the best year for Bitcoin. If this trend continues into 2018, who knows where we could be?  ;D

Expect for the price to continually go high on the next days until November 15, since another fork is being expected to happen on that day more and more people wants to hold as much coin as they want specially this time it is rumored that the coin from the fork will be valued at around $1000 each after the fork. We are experiencing this kind of hype on the price mainly because this is the third fork that bitcoin will experience and from the previous it didn't caused any harm to the coin. Hopefully this time will be the same.

Bitcoin even reached $7500 in the past days, many says it is because of the upcoming fork but what I think it is because more investors are joining the community. There are news that some of the precious supporters of the fork already back out.

Bitcoin always go up and down,And it's going to reach $10k in the end of this year. On the other hand According to some bitcoin expert it will reach $10k in the march 2018. If bitcoin back above $6k that will not strange at all i think.

This is just a hype and expect for it to be corrected on the next days. Some whales are just controlling the price of the coin.,

Stop paying attention to whatever clown'ish self claimed "expert". Never have people thought that Bitcoin would reach such levels in December of last year. This market is experiencing an increasing level of adoption that is bumping the price to constantly newer highs. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter if we reach $10K this year, or in Q1 of 2018 - it's only a matter of time. And honestly speaking, reaching $10K isn't much of an achievement anymore, aside from the statistical aspect. From current levels to $10K is 'just' a 33% bump, which isn't really something to loudly celebrate. After that we'll just keep rushing up further with institutional capital flowing into this eco system. If you're not a trader, then just keep holding - there is no better option.

That's what I'm thinking, we sometimes see $10,000 aim as the new era, but if we take a look at the current price, getting $10,000 is nothing rather than a statistical record. Now people started to talk about $20,000 aim and this will take too much time to get there, if we're relly gonna hit it up.

Let's first see what happens after the fork. It could be very well the price will retrace to 4k and we are back in the june price. Stability is better then such a big rise, because a panic dump will be huge this time. Very huge.
