I wish everyone had to register their pets and also needed to have pet licenses. Pet licenses are an amazing idea all around, ensuring only the best people who are actually interested in learning before getting a pet, gets one. Perhaps that is something that could be solved by governments through blockchain technology in the future as well...

The project at first sight might look similar to Siacoin, however it is different. The main difference is our obvious specialization in pet related activities: registration procedures at first place and data processing, along with its storage thereafter.

The whole idea behind Zkylos, is to make life of dog owners easier and their interactions with kennel less stresfull and more cost-effective. We do not issue our own coin. For the end user, nothing changes in regards of payments: we deliberately are not forcing anyone to buy our tokens in order to complete payments with them. That would rather be very inconvenient. On the contrary, the dog owner would still perform very same procedure, like logging into his member area, choosing whatever action he needs to perform and settles the amount due by his credit card. With the only difference that it is going to be a lot cheaper and the system we will provide will have extended functionality which every dog owner will appreciate. What dog owner does not see is the technical side of Zkylos which is hidden from regular users. The system is somewhat complicated, but in two words it looks like this: hashes and ID's of every transaction is kept in blockchain for transparency reasons most of all, since fund expenditure of national kennels lacks functionality big time.

Why do you think so? We got to know guys from Waves pretty close since we started working on the project and meet them multiple times while in Moscow. They are top level professionals.

Would you clarify please, why is Waves a bad choice in your understanding?

We are not conducting our ICO on Waves. Waves is ideal plaform for our needs at the moment due to several reasons. Since we will be processing very large amount of transactions where one token has to validate every single transaction, we decided to work with Waves:
1. No transaction costs
2. Token transfers within the system are also free
3. Emission almost free
4. Quite fast processing

Token we issue on Waves platform only plays role of service unit that validates the transaction.

In some developed countries it works exactly the way you described it. Whenever one state becomes ready to implement pet licenses, Zkylos will be there to help them do it  ;) But even if they do not need to tax everyone, we are still here making life of every dog owner easier and nicer  :D

There will be no mining. You will be able to trade the token at several cryptocurrency exchanges. Since we are coonducting detailed KYC, there will be no problems listing the token on major platforms.

Blockchain is needed for transparency reasons. Fund expenditure of national kennels lacks it. We do not tokenize everything around, neiher we force anyone to use our token to perform transactions. On the contraty, we create more trust by implementing blockchain in canine data processing as now everything will be open and clear.

We keep ID's and haches of every transaction in blockchain. Moreover, it order for transaction to be performed one token has to validate it. Therefore it is impossible to hide anything from the kennel side. Transaction has clear costs and it is being validated with a token. As transparent as it gets :)

Tokens issued on Ethereum give token holder right for profit distribution frim the project. Since it is ERC20 token, it obviously will be traded on 3rd party platforms (cryptoexchanges). We will also perform buyback of issued tokens, limiting the amount of tokens in circulation to 25% from the initial volume. That is pretty usable :)

The platform, it's technical side is based on Waves. However for crowdsale and further buyback and profit distribution Ethereum (ERC20) will be used.

No. That is the nice thing. We do not use tokens for buying things. Zkylos will issue two types of tokens: utility & support. The first one in strictly a service unit which only plays a role of transaction validator. It is not freely circulated and cannot be acquired. It is based on Waves platform. While the second one is ERC20 and is used for crowdsale, buyout by the project and further profit distributions.

In other words, the token that will be abailable for the commnity to acquire is ERC20 Ethereum based token, which will be used by the project to distribute profits.

we already have DOGS in chain but instead of using S we use E. And this project not to put DOGS in chain but to put dog owner as part of chain. Clever idea, but since i didn't know anything about dog and their needed so i cannot talk about it.

Well, this is rather different project. Blockchain is here to make our lifes easier and more convenient. That is what we will do with the dog owners worldwide. As dog owners ourselves we feel the pain and cannot accept victimization of any kind from kennels and other organizations.

Dogs do not really have too much needs. At least there is none that dog owners can not cope with. While dog owners actually do have some needs and problems that can not be solved within the existent infrustructure. So, that is what we are about to change :)

Well in Sweden all of the documentations is very digital and you don't wait for things
If you look to get a title that needs to be confirmed by FCI then it might be a hassle. I know
Otherwise whatever is done in the country is not a trouble
At least here. But I know that in other countries that are not very advanced in technology it is hard
Also there are many rules from kennels and it is very anoying

I like your approach and you are right with what you are saying. I hope blockchain can help solving some problems here.

What lead you to the conclusion that "the project is raw"? The fact that the we take our responsibilities very seriously and before releasing any documents we double check them as much as we can? The project is actually worken out far more than a lot of other projects around. You will see that if you follow the developent.

As for the feedback and investors. We already have secured sufficient funds within the private placement. And this thread here is not only about trying to find investor while it is rather to have the community informed that we exist. It is not "just the idea". If you are able to read and analyze what is written you should have concluded different: we said that smart contracts are almost ready, website also. WP as well. The sooner the community know of such a project, the better it is. Not sure whether that is narrow mindedness to judge this way or something else. Don't really know. The point is to be as open and transparent as possible.

On the other hand if you come up out of nowhere with the whole package set in place, very same people (like yourself for instance) would accuse us of other different things - like who these guys are and how come they are so well prepared all at once, this is definitely some sort of tricky story, and so on.

Veterinary clinics is just a small part of the project. We are taking care of all administrative procedures related to any dog activity: either that is initial puppy registration or pedigree issuance, generation of canine events on behalf of kennels and their following result processing etc etc — this is all us, this is Zkylos.

The project is not about "buy token to pay for smth." when "I can pay cash as I used to do it before". It's about developing new common infrastructure in a world of dogs, their owners, kennels, vets, government bodies etc. The blockchain is at place, but it's not the main idea: It's the "vehicle" that helps. This is one more step for blockchain to be introduced to the broad public.

Matter of fact is that it is happening very soon. It is inevitable. We will make sure it happens soon. But not the coin tought. We are not using our token to solve the mentioned problems. Utility token is used within the system by the system itself, regular users do not interact with it.

By outsourcing administrative operations with Zkylos, kennels are still generating the same amount of cash and at the same time are providing more service than before as our solution is a lot faster and much more convenient.

Yes. So far Waves are more convenient for the technical part. The platform is stable and cheap to operate. We can however migrate to another blockchain if needed. Depending on the needs and requirements. So far Waves suits us best.

I just had a closer look at your website and the stuff you are building makes a lot of sense. It's just a niche that at first glance seems unattractive for investors, but I can see how over time your idea might turn into a global standard for pet registration. Especially the automated taxation function for governments is a convincing argument for your platform to be accepted as a global standard. It will all take time but will be interesting to see how this is going to be adopted.

Thank you! The platform will generate profits and afterwards share them among it's token holders. Our break even point comes at 4th kennel that is connected to the system. Four kennels out of 100+... There is a lot of potential. You should also consider the alternative ways of monetization of the platform. It is huge. The project will change things around big time!

Completely different systems really. EOS supposed to be more advanced, however Waves actually is operating. EOS not :) They are very different in their core. But for our needs theoretically both of them can work.

There is legal vacuum related to all cryptocurrencies and projects dealing with tokens. We are negotiating with CySEC. There should be no problems really :)

National kennel is organization that is dealing with canine related activities in one particular country. Usually there is one kennel in each country. Kennels should not be confused with clubs or breeders.

Like every start up we considering all forms and ways of how to obtain the necessary investment and are open for offers. But, at the same time, we rather prefer to stay free and develop our own vision for the project and it's future rather than compromise it in order get the money in exchange for our freedom to create a trully good product and help people and animals throughout the globe. Our soft cap is 18 200 ETH that is minimum to develop the beta version of Zkylos without implementation and our hard cap is 52 765 ETH to make the system global and acheive breakeven.

Not really, my friend! We completely understand your frustration with most of the current ICOs issuing their tokens like there is no tomorrow and trying to make easy money on whatever they can using blockchain where it is not really necessary just like an add on and attraction. Are you planning to get listed on the exchanges? Any predictions on the token price?

We are negotiating with the number of exchanges. It will be clearer which ones and when we will sign the agreement with a bit later on, probably when the ICO itself will kick off.
At Zkylos we know how important it is to ensure that the price of the token is rising after it hits the exchange so we have taken certain measures to ensure our token is table:
1) Bounty program tokens will be bought out by Zkylos immediately after the ICO is complete so the bounty program members won't sell them at the exchanges right away (like they tend to do)
2) The team and advisor's tokens shall be frozen for 6 month after the ICO is complete, so nobody will sell them right away either
3)Zkylos is going to buy out 75% of the distributed tokens by paying the dividents from the profits the company will make, limiting the number of tokens to 100000000 out of 350 mln and burning the tokens bought out.
4) Once the number of tokens in circulation is limited to 100mln we shall start distributing the dividents at the amount of 60% from the overal profit.

Will everyone need to buy tokens to be able to use the platform services?

In order to use the platform you won't need to buy our support token ZSK- we will use it as a tool to gather backing for our project. ZSK gives the backers the right of profit share in the future as well as can be freely exchanged or passed on to the other holders outside the platform. Zkylos itself shall be serviced using ZZZ utility token which will be applied as a settlement mechanism and will be used strictly on the platform.

Worldwide. We are planning to go global. Our founders know the 'dog world' from the inside so as you can imagine the Zkylos idea itself came to the existense because there is a genuine NEED for the solution we are building. We are talking to few kennels at the moment and there are many people who are willing to adopt our product this is why we are confident we will succeed. Geography, countries and names will be disclosed a bit later as there are certain quite conservative elements residing in some of the organisations and, before we show the final product, we need to be careful making promises.

It's actually sad to see the state of the ICO market at the moment: too many strange projects with ridiculous ideas, obvious scams and projects where the blockchain is not necessary at all but is there as an attraction for the investors. This is all bad for as all those factors reduce peoples trust in ICOs and we have to deal with that in the end. Industry needs to clean itself up, otherwise somebody else will do it.  :(

Why did you chose an ICO? You project is good enough to apply for venture funding?

We are considering all types of investment but prefer an ICO because we think that this is the most progressive and democratic way to fundraise for the project while retaining a certain degree of independence from the large investors. We do not want to compromise our ideas and principles to favour the whales. We would prefer to serve the community not just to be a profitable endeavour.

ZZZ is the Waves platform token which will just service the platform being the information bearer and keaper, while ZKS, being an ERC20 type token, will be sold during the ICO as a support token, which will then hit the exchanges and will be out in a free circulation. We shall be paying dividents for ZKS holders in the future.

Demo version is currently under active development. I would say this is a matter of couple of months before it is ready.

Some kennels are trying to implement certain innovations which do make lives for the dog owners easier. Some of the US based dog related organizations are quite organised.  However, in most of the countries the situation is at the medieval age development stage. Pen, paper, envelope and a nasty individual behind the counter is the way they operate.

Lol! Surely it's not that bad! There must be some system in place. Maybe they are just very conservative.

Being conservative is not always a good thing you know.  :) People still ban their children from getting married to people of different nationalities in certain cultures and some people still eat horses. Balance is important. It, probably, looks good to have a queen and fancy wedding rituals but when, in the 21st century, you have to wait for weeks and months for your pet travel paperwork to be done or dog show certificate to be issued, especially, after paying a hefty amount of money for them, most of the people we know are beginning to think that maybe it's time to change some things.  ;)

Yes we actually will have a charity section at our platform! We strongly believe that we should help the animals who have been deprived of human love and care as well as those people who are doing their best to help the poor creatures.

checked this thread to see whats going on here. normally if the project is introduced early, it will gain supporters early but the decline of interest also increases if they see that the development is not what they expected to be. with how i read things here they failed to attract loyal users that can vouch them. maybe the team should start thinking about their new strategy of marketing campaign to gain supporters once their ico commences

Hello. We are just at the beginning of our way. Our community is just beginning to expand and people are starting to know more about our project. You're right saying that we need to start a marketing campaign. We' re going to promote our project more actively closer to the beginning of ICO. And we believe that a lot of people will share the idea of our project because we're aimed at societal transformation. :)

Despite the fact that our project is at an early stage, we have already implemented some important steps:

- we have attracted strong advisers  8)
- we've finalized the idea of our project (it's devoted to all animals now).

Our break even point comes at 4-6th kennel that is connected to the system. ... There is a lot of potential. Only global canine pedigree issuance services are worth 200000000$! With 272 million dogs (dogs as an example) registered worldwide our project can become a very profitable establishment.
