i would like to start the talk about the Palm Beach Confidential pick for this month ... after watching some recent videos on youtube and looking at some forums as it seems they are going to pick of Those coins  ( XRP - SYS - STORJ - BAT - GOLEM ) , last month was Zencash coin which saw a great rise in price

i would like to know your opinions about which one you think will be picked and why
   

I thought they already picked XRP for November, no? Also, was it just coincidence that Storj shot up around the time PBC made the announcement? I'm hoping it's syscoin because I'm holding some  ;)

I thought they have been pushing for Ripple for months now? Does that mean it's like their headline coin for the month or something?

Everything from PBC i don't believe. It's a classic pump and dump scheme (PBC buys low -> promote to subscribers -> subscribers buy the coin -> market reacts on sudden price movement -> PBC sells high ->subscribers that still didn't sell are stuck with the coin).

I subscribed to a newsletter of the Palm Beach Confidential. Classic American? spamming  technique:

- I'm excited to have him,
- do not want to miss this,
- I'm so bullish
- last full day (classic limited time frame)

This kind of hyping people up, makes me wanna puke.

As far as I can understand a little bit of their technique it is almost assimilated to a club of apparatchiks in order to exchange information and to share with other people by means of finance to create a kind of hype on the currency.
It's a little bit like "bonimenteurs" who will sell you fantastic products at prices that defy any competition when in fact it's just a scam.
It seems to me that this is really on the verge of legality and I'm very doubtful about the evolution of this kind of club in the future.

They like privacy coins so I'm guessing they will pick XSPEC which has more privacy features than any other coin. Currently has limited marketing and a low price, same as their other PBC picks.

i don't think it would be ripple its market cap is crazy big and hard to move , they will probably pick smaller cap coin so their hype can move it

What is important to understand about XSPEC is that Stealth Addresses are well in the process to becoming default addresses instead of having public addresses for staking. Edit: I agree with what those say about palm bay confidential, they buy prior and release the news to their subscribers to eat their sell orders. While this is likely to be the case, I think by this point the Spectrecoin community wishes to get any publicity they can.

They spam their emails to you, and say things like free giveaways of Bitcoin to attract millions of people. Multi millionaires, "if you listened to this guy and invested $100 last year, you would make $100k today" bullshit, but they cannot afford to spend money to correct typos on their website.

That's not what he is asking... The question is what TIME of day is the newsletter released to its members.  The ZenCash pump started around 7pm UTC on Oct 19th (the 3rd Thursday last month when the report was released), and peaked about 2.5 hours later (about $10 up to $26). To take advantage of the pump this newsletter provides, knowing when it is released would be of value.

Any $3k Palm Beach Confidential subscribers care to share what time of day the report has been historically released?

I would love to know what TIME the newsletter is released as well. Also how quickly is the newsletter leaked and how easy is it to find it? The previous were very easy to find but I didn't search until a week after the release date.

There isn't a set time of day. The past few newsletters have been delivered at different times of the day on the third Thursday of each month.
FCT and NEO have already been recommended, so it definitely is not these.

He hinted at recently meetng with the solarcoin team, so I suspect this will be his next pick.

When will they post the next one?

They don't.  Everything we see are bootleg...or illegally shared.

A lot that you can find around twitter, 4chan, reddet, etc are people trying to fake reports or updates from PBC.

People are making these to pump their own coins, so be careful.

Do you guys think this is worth it? Is anyone a memeber that can let us know if this is worth it. The site seems scammy and has the same look as other sites peddling fake meds, fake plans for magnetic engines etc.. just seems scammy to me.

I am not a subscriber but IF you have BIG amount to invest it is worth it.

Do the math, some recommended coins spiked 2.5-7 times after the magazine is "leaked".  See OMG, NEO, GAS, ZEN, etc..  No one can guarantee this but seems to be the trend.  Of course you need to sell/unload at the right time as well to really appreciate the "gains" because some of them are temporary.

don't forget....they offer you a 1000% in the year of subscription otherwise you get your money back.

They probably adjust the %s on perfect timing...but it does not look too risky to give it a try tbh.

Emc2 is pumping because of coin burn coming in December. Plus, I’m having a hard time seeing the long term value of emc2.

I doubt it’s zcoin considering it was zencash last month so why would they pick something similar? Besides that zcoin is pumping now because of the masternodes announcement

XRP definitely unlikely to be the pick.. too famous already, and they already recommended an anonymous coin last month, I would be surprised if they did it again.
SYS STORJ BAT and GOLEM also not sure because they have already a high market cap...
Maybe STORJ with its 85 million could still be plausible.
BAT is also in a very interesting stage and wouldn't be surprised if that's the pick.
Other perfect candidates rumored are MTH and STEEM.

Why would someone invest in the coin that PBC chooses? They certainly cant make market adoption of any coin happen no matter what they think.

Because those coins have been known to pump big time, ie easy gains, and to keep going for a long period of time. I mean honestly the guy has made some excellent calls in the past and has made people a lot of money.

I vaguely remember glimpsing in a Telegram chat that it was going to DNT. But that's all my input.

Most importantly, is it a better strategy to leave all my bitcoin on my wallet and then send it out ASAP to the exchange that the coin is on, or is it better to take my chances and leave my funds on Bittrex since that is by far the biggest exchange and most likely to have the coin in the newsletter??

 Very unlikely to be dnt. If you follow dnt, you know that on multiple occasions the team said they’re not in it to make money and don’t care if the value of the coin increases. Dnt is primarily a “community effort”. That’s not what pbc is about. They want coins that have a good if speculative business case and that are aiming to make $$.

Looks like Palm Beach, but it says to be secret. Like, you cannot even buy the info, you have to be in the group (maybe be a whale or something).

Defo something interesting there. Palm Beach makes money out of subscription, hence it's a business.

Secrecy is generally a good point. Contrary to public but freemium stuff like palm beach group. But pbg did have some great picks in the past.

Yes, but it´s already pumped and leaked in 4chan. It was all day in bittrex homepage with a +50%..

If they release the newsletter with this pick it will loose lot of credibility, giving leaked signals for coins already pumped...

Lots of teens from 4chan are waiting for the whales, to sell them their tokens bought at 0.2,0.3 and less... I think those rich investors and subscribers are not that stupid.. we´ll find out in a few hours when it´s released

It's a research published by Palm Beach group in which they give their picks on some coins they think have the best future. Their subscribers (you can join for $3.000 a year) get this info before everyone else, buy alot of this coin, leak the report and then dumps them on everyone else once the prises are high.

Basically a PnD, I strongly suggest you stay away from buying the recommended coin (unless you have an early info because you are subscribed or you happen to hold this coin at the moment of research leak).

It seems like it's POWR and even though 20th is the issue date, this elevation means subscribers got the newsletter early I guess. I got in at 0.40$ which is pretty late but looking at ZEN, GAS and OMG it could easily go to 1$ and stay. If not I wonder what will be their pick. As a holder of DNT, a part of me still hopes its my 26m cap DNT with recent movements supporting the idea.

Why are you saying it is not powr? There are many proofs confirming that it is actually powr or solar coin. The second one does not even have a proper website so I think it will be POWR.

Because I'm a member. The issue hasn't even been released to us members yet and based on the way he said things, he won't write about what has already been leaked. This is a recent change probably because of the recent amount of leaks. He has given no hints at all except it is available on a certain exchange. It could be solar but it definitely is not power unless he failed to list all exchanges for powr. It may even be something other than solar.

I love how everybody expects an official confirmation or announcement, without actually paying anything. And I doubt any of these so-called subscribers are real or whether they would give proper information. Thank God there is Twitter... If you look at the last 12 hours of POWR you can see there is a serious bullish trend with corrections followed by pumps each time. Do your own research and don't be late :)

As a sole subscriber to PBC, I can tell you this twitter post/POWR call is absolutely fake. There has been no calls released on either POWR or SLR.

The entire reason for the delay was so that he could choose a different coin, so it's very likely to not be the solar based coin he hinted at earlier.

People should understand that unless they actually bought a report and have already stacked up, they will end up bagholding for someone.

Be careful with this, you might get burned if you get caught up in FOMO and everyone dumps on you.

The point is that real subscribers will get enough time to buy the chosen coin before the pump really gets going. Then the pick "leaks" (which I'm sure is their intention) and everyone else rushes to pick some up, resulting in a huge pump that the subscribers cash in on. Obviously it's still possible to be a subscriber and miss out on the pump, but as long as you stay on top of when the picks will be released it's easy money harvested from the mindless masses.

And don't trust anyone who says they know what the pick will be in advance. People know that PBC's picks hold serious power in the market so they'll try all kinds of tricks to point the money hungry fools in the direction of some dead coin they've been holding.

PBC next pick is speculated by some forums to be POWER LEDGER coin but seeing the current pump in the coin I don't think they will pick POWER. some channels are pointing it to be CIVIC. let's see which one it is we will come to know about it today.

How can you know someone just does not manipulate the market and you by sending these pics? Look at the spike in SLR, it started like 16 hours ago. Maybe too early?

SLR is $25M market cap... if it's the pick, it's gonna go x5 to x10...
POWR is 1x bigger, hence x3 to x4 max imho

But for sure, PBC calls are legit (they have insiders infos and a great way to assess market potentials.

Could Palm beach be in the raiden right now? The price is well above the ICO price. And it's always on the rise chart.

The entire reason he delayed the call from Thursday to today was because he needed to write up a DIFFERENT coin from what he was going to release on Thursday. PBC subscribers were upset about zen leaks so he is wanting to avoid this two months in a row. This means it's highly unlikely it's going to be SLR (or POWR) since he realized most people guessed his pick. This also means everyone buying into SLR are about to get burned.

I personally still bought SLR since I expected everyone would think that's still going to be the pick and I just sold with good profits. Maybe my theory is wrong but I'd be careful holding either of the sun coins around 5pm. If he is indeed picking a different coin than originally planned, the price is going to dump hard.

The palm beach site is currently down for me so I can't get confirmation on the pick. But the email is out and he says he has found "the paypal of legal cannibis" so it may well be potcoin. Although all pot related coins spiked in the last 20 mins in response to it. Probably due to the site being down and no official pick being confirmed.

More to the point, why on earth would they pick PotCoin? It's been on it's deathbed for months. There are about 5 dispensaries in the entire US accepting PotCoin. If this is the pick, it just goes to show what a scam PBC really is.

Yeah that can't be right. I thought the whole point of the pick of the month was to pick a coin with a small market cap (<$100 million) that has great potential to reap 10-20 fold. Market cap for Dash is already too high for such rewards.

It is dash but with a market cap this high already. I expect it to fall back to $450-500.

No way a coin like Dash can just gain $100-200 in a day and keep that value. Long term I can see it going to thousands but not this fast.

I'm definitely not putting my money into Dash. I'll take all that cash and split it between POWR and SLR, both of whom have long-term potential and SLR definitely being undervalued in terms of market cap.

If we are lucky can do some scalping for couple % tonight with Dash at least, if it have the volume and some activities. Bearish right now.

Yep DASH recommended up to a buy level of $600. Quite a weak pick I think. Not the earth shattering pick like Ether, NEO etc But he still managed to pump it up a fair bit despite it being a multibillion dollar asset.

The more interesting thing I got from this months report is he has raised the buy level on STORJ coin to $1. While everyone is looking at dash that was a better opportunity in my mind.

The whole idea of PB is ridiculous...but not because the picks, or the research they allegedly do, but because trying to keep a "secret pick" in the internet era is completely a nonsense.

Well... in months past at least... the pick was released to the masses (at least on most sites & forums) a bit after the subscribers got it... getting the subscribers in at the ground floor of the pump.  But today with the DDOS and problems getting the newsletter out... all that was erased. 

Still... the newsletter goes out to 180k subscribers... and the pick has only been out for 3 hours... still room for DASH to go up as Teeka's army buys in.

I truly hope that all of these issues they've been having will cause people to wake up soon and realize that following PBC's picks does nothing but fatten Teeka's wallet. Leaks, weak picks, delays... it just doesn't sound like the level of quality you'd expect from something that comes with a $3000 subscription.

The pick seems more like a "move your $1,000,000 out of the bank and get 20% P.A. interest on DASH instead) as opposed to "turn $1,000 into $100,000 in 12 months".
Probably not what most are looking for considering most would believe Bitcoin is a stronger and more reliable pick.

What does it mean when the recommendation for a crypto is "buy up to xx$" and it is way below the current price, like Monero's "buy up to 60$" when it's value more than double that?

It means that PBC recommended that coin before it reached that price and it has since gone above it and they haven't revised that price.

For example, in the case of monero let's say they recommended it when monero was sitting at $40. They decided, based on their analysis that it was a good buy up to  $60. Since then it has gone way past that price but they don't feel the need to change their stance on it. What they are basically saying is don't buy it now unless it dips below the $60 level.

Take the guy to task and report him. He needs to be held accountable and investigated.

I reported the group. I posted links to charts and some reddit posts about how the guy was banned from trading stocks.

They need to give subscribers their money back for the recent mishandling. I encourage other people to step up and report as well.
Maybe you can spend more time with more detailed information.

I haven't personally been affected, but I agree that this is pure market manipulation. If legal action doesn't work, hopefully the community will be smart enough to cancel subscriptions and start boycotting them.

As much as I'd like for this to happen, I just don't think it's realistic. Too many people are convinced that they'll get rich if they can jump in on PBC's pick, and many more are willing to manipulate them with false rumors and fake screenshots.

At this point I don't think the subscription fee is even necessary, I'm sure PBC makes more money through their market manipulation than from subscriptions. The fee just helps them look "legit" to newcomers (and might have tax/legal purposes as well).

Don't ever buy a token recommended by PBC right away. Usually wait for 3-5 days if you want to buy in. I don't think their recommendation is bs, but I think most people will lose money if they buy right during the pop.
