Stratis is one of the best altcoins for a long term investment, but it has been quiet for a while, i dont know if it is going to be a good shoot to have some of them on your portfolio because it is very risky.
There are better options to increase your money without having to invest in stratis, it is a good project, of course, but it does not have enough potential to make a huge rise, or a pump, the market is now requering some other kind of conditions.
I have read it, and it is brilliant, but stratis is not good if you are looking for a short term profit.

Stratis is indeed a long term project, it hit top 8 in May, but now it is out of top 20 again, the team will work more hard and the market cap will be back. I believe it will go back to top 20 again, they are bringing good product for bitcoin ecosystem.

of course i would pick some shitcoins for quick gain rather invest in these top 25 cmc  , like Bitcoin gold , Btx or some P&D coins ...
But so much tech coming, also the Stratis platfrom will be fully available on Q1 2018 which is just a few months from now ... Dont you think 3$ for this is just too cheap ?
Price may drop to 2.5 or 2$ , but imo everything below 3$ is a steal.

The stratis platform seems in the right way, with the growth of the more company will try to use or implement the blockchain technology and there will be more customer from the various rannge.
I like that answers too. But another platform will be appearing as to be the competitor for the stratis platform itself.

Stratis is a great coin and concept, development is slow and they are slow on fulfilling promised roadmaps but other than that it will moon once they release new features.

stratis is a good project but maybe people are looking forward to a project with a better technical breakthrough. If stratis may soon finish their technology, I believe stratis will be one of the projects supported by many companies and using the technology from stratis to develop their platform.

Khilone has been an evangelist of Stratis for a long period of time, so won't put more thought into what he is saying. I hope people make a very objective decision about the project, I just feel Stratis has reached its peak, no serious development coming form the team

Stratis is indeed a value investment, but it requires a lot of patience and faith because the currency is well developed and advertised but not reflected in the short term, and if you think you can hold it for the long term.

Oh, Stratis is going to be a solid one for a very long time. I will ignore how I bought in at about $4-$5 since this is the type of project that will typically involve and NEED huge market capitalization. The price should outpace the supply in a year or two.

Be realistic with Stratis though, I think anything that assumes to jump 5x 10x and so on are just talking air. Stratis will do a solid climb that will look more like Waves or even Monero than the crazy spikes people want them to. Stratis is absolutely long term, not short, not even medium.

STRATIS is a perfect long term holdings,the team behind it is working hard and they achieved a lot in just 1 year.

I finally bought some strat yesterday after reading the reddit Ama. The coin had dumped hard before because the devs were not following the timelines in the roadmap. They are aware of this issue and vow to rectify that. As a result, i think the coin is a bargain now at undr $4.  I think they have some amazing ideas and lots of ambition, plus the experience to carry it all through. But it’s a long term hold and crypto people only seem to value instant gratification. But we all know who wins big in the end.

YOU GET IT..This is exactly what it is..It has become a complete market right now and all the excitement about new technology is all but gone. The reason being:
1. Scaling issues for which no blockchain seems to have much of an idea. Even Bitcoin doesn't seem to have a ready solution for it so it would be safe to assume that this will take some time. They are the oldest in the trade after-all.
2. Everyone knows there is much more profit in raising money through ICO's.
3. Raising money through ICOs is now dependent much more on marketing than the real product, one reason for which is that very few of the ICOs have a product.

So yeah, Just Buy Low..Sell High for the time being..If luck favors you so..:)

I added long hold Strat could sell it when the price was still $ 10 but I didn't. I believe that the potential of this coin much more.

But now the situation is a bit depressing, the price relative to BTC only and falls, even the wave is now worth significantly more. At the end of October there were many events thought to affect the price but also all deaf.

Look at the order books , clearly Some whales trying really hard to hold Stratis back ( their masternodes accumulate time ? ), but not for long i believe , with so many good news and techs coming up , Stratis time is coming.

 Stratis is not a coin but a platform. We all know that bitcoin and the blockchain is going to impact the world in fundamental ways. Devs are working hard on it. this is a long term investment so invest on this coin.

You are welcome , but do your own research first ,  i cant tell you stratis will pump this week or next month or whatever , but one thing i know for sure i can tell you that the project is legit , the devs are some of the genious and hardworking mtfs , bonus the strong community behind ( you can ask the admin of stratis on reddit for the slack invite or join telegram ) , alot of big investors since last year still didnt sell any single stratis ( man if they sell at june and now buy back they can even x4 their stack ) You can see , there are still alot of believers, and imo stratis is one of the biggest candidate for top 5 cmc or even top 3 in 2018.

The price of Stratis is way too high, there is not that much to do with that coin other than hold it to make money...

I have Stratus in my wallet. I like their ideas. In my opinion it's brilliant. I bought it and forgot it. I follow the news, watch the course. But I do not expect a sharp jump. I worry about this project with my soul. Maybe my expectations will make me richer, maybe not.

Stratis isn’t newbie in the world of cryptocurrencies, but I hear about it’s coins rarely. Stratis has its own wallet, exchange platform. Maybe for longterm investment this is good, but it looks really boring.

I actually agree with the guy, Stratis is indeed a great coin for long term investment. It is one of the coins worth to invest in that's why I invested in this coin a couple months back and just left it in the exchange site for long term holding.

We had purchased tokens and invested in it in the ICO But because the DEVS and that Krushang guy were not very nice to me and did not pay me for translating their website, I sold them off as they acted fraudulently against my person. It is a good platform and good investment but because I have had this bad experience from them for moral reasons I refuse now to invest in it. Personal grudge aside, it is going to be a good investment long term I think.

You should really stop posting this lie over and over.  The Chinese translation was given to someone else since you and your wife kept complaining that if the ICO minimum funds were not raised, you would not be paid.  That's a given for all ICO's.  Refunds would be issued if the minimum requirements were not raised and all bounties would not be paid.  The Stratis team did not use your translation.  You are just being bitter that you make a huge mistake by not accepting the terms and sold off your STRAT for cheap.  

Yes, there are so many coins such as Stratis, Waves, IOTA, Tether, and Lisk are all great altcoins to invest for the future.

I totally agree in your opinion. It only needs time and you'll get good profit if you jut hold it for long term. You can't build a strong and tough building tower overnight.

All top coins in coinmarket are good to hold in my opinion. They are already establish and having a larger market capitalization is a good assurance that they may not fade easily. Stratis is also one of the coin I am holding, it its ATH several months ago.

If the people wants to become rich maybe they need to make a huge investment, because stratis move depends to their environment. Also this altcoin needs a large numbers of investors to grow up faster.

My first buy was at 4 times the current price of strat in BTC value, however, I realized my mistake the hard way and I started accumulating STRAT during every dip now and then.
this is one coin that may make you rich in future. You just need strong hands for STRAT.

My long-term go-to is Monero. I heard Monero has tons of potential compared to any other altcoin right now because it is 100% anonymous which is one of, if not the main points to crypto in the first place.

Actually no. This Stratis project is similar to Waves for the reasons you mentioned: few updates, little action for advertising and little public marketing. But that is good for me. If you artificially promote the coin with pump type news and bloated hype, you attract big time spenders who only want to see profit in weeks. These then inflate the prices but then dump them, creating a reluctance for actual new investors to enter the market. In fact, both coins already have some whale action hurting long term growth. But I am not worried. Stratis is for those who want to see the platform emerge properly next year and following years. Not this month or next month.

Stratis was worth so much then after the price rises it went down and this latest price rise it stayed the same which is good. Stratis is worth a nice amount and will grow well over a long period. I don't think it will drop like that again it will be more gradual. You can also stake it for even more profits.

You obviously must be talking about some other coin, because "she" is not going to grow back, going back for Stratis is going to be bad news (you realize it has climbed up in value right?). Stratis is a long term hold by any judgment, it is a platform and a solution that first needs people to adopt it. Not just users like you and me. Enterprises and projects need to stop looking at ERC20 and see others like Waves and Stratis as the go-to solution for blockchain projects.

In that sense, "slow" growth is good, we do not want wild climbs that will end up in crashes.
