I am sorry for that but you can not say that bitcoin is a scam just because of what you have experienced. Bitcoin is not a scam. 

The reasons you have given are not enough to call it a scam. Bitcoin's success and its shortcomings are the major reasons why all the other coins exist in the first place, so calling it a gimmick means the other coins are also gimmicks.

BITCOIN is NOT a scam coin, The reason is BTC is very very bullish and there is NO proof that BTC is a scam! Yes, there's a bit of people who are making BTC to MLM.

But i think the reason you made this is because your part of a bank or you knew BTC since it started and you thought it is rigged and scam until now. It's your choice if you don't want to be rich.

No one forced you to buy bitcoins and it up to an individual because it is their hard earned money so they can decide where they want to invest.

because of the jam you said Bitcoin turned into scam coin while basically it did not take anything from you.
the transaction very slow due to traffic and of course the fees itself.
i sent a quite many Bitcoin lately using 100.000 satoshi and i got this for only around 2 hours or less than that.
it's all about the transaction fees and the traffic itself not because of 'Ponzi' or something like that.

it's their mistake and their problem with their security not because of Bitcoin.

Did I just read that right or were you really calling BTC a centralized currency. Who says that Bitcoin transactions are taking over 24 hours ? You should put enough fees to make the transactions done on time. You can call high fees an issue but not delayed transactions as that depends on the amount of fees you put on for the transaction.
For example : you can't just put 10 sats per byte as the fee and wait for your transaction to be confirmed within minutes. I just did a transaction last night and it was done by when I woke up.
The increase in price of BTC is becuase many big investors are buying BTC these days and the fact that supply is limited to 21 million BTC is surging the price more than it should. Stop calling BTC a scam and do a proper research. I do accept that are issues with BTC but then they can be solved with proper attention and support from people.

Bitcoin is not a scam coin, it's actually the first crypto coin that was created that made use of a blockchain. It's the technique that every other altcoin uses to make their currency decentralized. If you think that Bitcoin is a shitcoin, then you shouldn't use any other coin because these are just copies of Bitcoin. Yes it's true that Bitcoin faces scalability issues but Bitcoin developers have found a solution for it, which currently being developed called the 'Lightning network'. Although you're not right about the altcoins being better because these coins don't have to handle the extreme amount of transactions Bitcoin has. Some coins might have increased the block-size but that doesn't really solve the problem permanently, it's just a way to handle the current flood of transactions temporary. This increase also brings side-effects with it, like more centralization which is basically the opposite of what Satoshi intended his currency to be.

it is not bitcoin itself that turned into any scam coin, bitcoin cannot hack anyone but people hack bitcoin users account. bitcoin is attractive to hackers, thats why they want it and wouldn't want to do the needful andf i their coveteousness hack bitcoin accounts.

Bitcoin transactions maybe slow due to more number of pending transactions but it will be resolved in a day or two,so it is not a good reason to say it is a scam coin,if you think it is scam just stop using bitcoins.Bitcoins price is reaching new high due to the upcoming fork so all the people are selling their altcoin to buy bitcoin which causes demand for bitcoin.
I never faced any problem with bitcoin exchanges and wallets,if your wallet being hacked you need to keep your bitcoins in a software or hardware wallet then it is impossible to hack your wallet.

It is not a scam coin. But recent upward trend is quite unnatural. Within a month or two, it has gone from 3k-4k to 15k. Nobody expected such an abnormal growth.

Everybody should start using segwit addresses, you'd pay a lot less fees that way.
Also, hopefully lightning network will come pretty soon, then we'll pay even less fees than we are with just segwit addresses.

There are a couple of wallets that support segwit, though I don't think any mobile wallets do yet (IOS & Android) But correct me if I'm wrong.

What? Really bitcoin is scam? How come? In my 3 years of actively participating and trading I didn't found out that bitcoin is a scam. Maybe they only had found those scam or not legit groups or pages in online world that they choose to join with. Maybe they didn't make a massve research about bitcoin and they easily just believe for what they readvon some articles. And above all of these unlegit pages is the spread of people telling false news about bitcoin.

Definitely, what my insight about what others perception regarding bitcoin is they have lack of knowledge of what bitcoin is. We cannot deny that bitcoin has big problems on confirmation time and transaction fees. It has been a lingering problem since the volume of users started to come up (sometimes just scam tx bloating the mempool). It is a problem the devs should solve. But it is definitely not a scam.

Your not the only one experiencing this kind of technical issue. Never judge btc that it is a scam just because of this recent problem. Just be patience and everything will be fine. This problem has occurred due to increasingly high demand of transaction.

Only, few hours ago price was at 15550 USD and at this time Bitcoin has crossed 17100 USD. All these things have put Bitcoin under many question, like such a tremendous growth is taking place and will it survive or burst. All the things which used to happen in alt coin like pumping and dumping might take place in Bitcoin. But bitcoin cannot be called into a scam coin, a scam coin is where developers turn their back and run away with the money but in the case of Bitcoin it is completely decentralized and cannot be turned down until all the miners work for Bitcoin.

Certainly Bitcoin is not a scam, it has already proven you are not scam. There were people who blamed Bitcoin for balloons, I was very angry with them, but now I give them rights. Because Bitcoin is now out of its reach, everyone gets Bitcoin to make money without getting tired.

If you want to sent bitcoin faster, just select higher fees in order to get it on the first or second block and you should be fine. Of course that you must be prepared to pay high fees in order to get priority, but if it is urgent then it might be worth it. Also don't forget that the number of outputs also influences the fees you pay, so you must take that into consideration.

As for the trades, I don't know what you are talking about. As far as I know, when you are trading you are not really making transactions, otherwise exchanges would be paying huge amount of fees, and that wouldn't work. I'm sure they keep the transaction internal, and they only make real transactions when they really need to. So if you are blocked it's not because of the bitcoin network, and the problem should be on the side of the exchange.

As for hacks, they happen all the time and on a lot of areas. Of course bitcoin exchanges are very attractive for hackers, because there is a lot of money there, but the reports on big exchanges being hacked has been quite small these days.

I don't know were all this bitcoin rage is coming from, but I think you should reconsider what you are saying, because if you think well, you can't support any of the accusations you made.

I can understand your pain but understand that things are yet in the development phase and not a fine product at this point but since more and more people are realising the potential of it, they are pouting their money in it with the expectations of earning multifold returns for their investment. Even you know that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme and how it works so it's better to keep calm wait for the development. I don’t think Bitcoin is a scam but I agree about the transaction times. I have one unconfirmed for more than a day so I am frustrated about that too. They will eventually get confirmed. Sometimes it’s slower than others. I’ve said in the past that Bitcoin needs to get this figured out or Bitcoin could level off in price and other altcoins that have faster transaction times and lower fees could pass Bitcoin in market cap. I think Bitcoin could still be worth a lot as just a store of value.

There are no tested and working solution for scalibity issue without compromising security of the network. Bitcoins still has the best tech and developers.

I bought Bitcoin today and the transaction was confirmed immediately! I disagree with you, calling bitcoin a ponzi scheme as you may not have read bitcoin's white paper to know what Bitcoin stand for. Really frustrating sometimes.. it is all and every thing is good in bitcoin except the transection time. Still i wonder this coin has a system. So the transection time may also affect the magical process of bitcoin.. maybe.. just asumming..

This is the problem about bitcoin transactions too long sometimes it took more than 48 hours to confirm the transactions. Also, the fees are huge when sending, when the price of bitcoin skyrocket problem do exists and did'nt get resolved. But we cannot say it is scam bitcoin exists still.

maybe the long term of the transaction depends on the amount of Bitcoin? if I recently spent quite a few coins, the transactions lasted only two or three hours.

Ability to trade doesn't depend from transaction speed. When you trade on exchange you don't move your bitcoin.

Ethereum is similarly congested and also needs a boost in block size (gas limit per block) until PoS or other solutions to merge multiple transactions into 1.

I think you are right here. The accusations the OP makes are not the case, it looks more like personal frustration. I agree that there are huge scalability issues on both blockchains that have to be addressed by the devs, as we are heading towards mainstream adoption this should be the number one concern.

On the other hand I think that the latest surge of BTC was insane, the price seems out of control and like nobody can predict where we are heading. The huge swings we see daily are showing this quite nicely. Im really curious where we will stand pricewise at the end of this month.

Just because you are having some issues with bitcoin or you have some bad experience with bitcoin doesn't prove the bitcoin as a scam coin. You need to have a strong and valid reason for making this kind of statement. I strongly disagree, you are clearly targeting the whole network by pointing rare problems occurring nowadays. Not every transaction needs 24 hours to confirm, some are having problems due to low fee or other reasons.
So in this way we should shut all online payment systems like online banking because hackers can hack them, don't forget that it is more secure than online banking system. Yes many coins have fast transaction rate but those coins are not widely used as bitcoin is being used all over the world having maximum number of the users.

It's really worst to hear about delay in trasactions. You need to think about the fluctuation and its not permanent to down always because it was low in trend.
As you see right now its driving up to hit $15k again. It touched almost as per preev.com

The price of bitcoin is increasing and the network delay is bigger,are you trading for the first time,when ever the price of bitcoin rises the number of transactions increases and the network becomes congested because of that and it takes a long time to get a single confirmation and the transaction charges are usually higher,if you are getting your coins from the exchanges why does anyone move the coin to other location,they can trade directly without moving their coins,if you are looking for cheap and fast transaction and not valuations,look for dogecoin and other small coins with unlimited coins. :P

Bitcoin cannot be a scam coins and I think we need to have little patience as this networks conjunction problems should be resolved and that is why we are advocating for scaling as the network is too narrow and a lot of demand for bitcoin currently. I don't know why people call it a scam? We have news about bitcoin popularity from various news channels like BBC, CNN, FOX news, CNBC, DW and many more highly reputed news agencies. The news reports of all these news channels proves that people are after bitcoin, which is the only strength of bitcoin. The demand for it currently is higher than ever before that forces price graph to go high.
Sometime you may feel this abrupt price growth freaky but if you look at how crazy people are for bitcoin, it will make you understand why is price going high.

If it is a scam, maybe no one will buy btc anymore and no one will say they have profited from it. If you have that experience,  then you cannot say that bitcoin is all scam. Every person in the community has different experiences about 1st trading and holding of cryptocurrency. Maybe yours was just not that lucky.

The dumping of bitcoin price is merely part of its volatility nature and it does not mean that it is scam because of that.  I think it is better for you to check the history of bitcoin in the market and you can observe that what we are experiencing right now also happened before.  But the good thing about it, still bitcoin recovers from dumping of price before so, it also has the capacity to recover during our time.  Bitcoin is not merely about pumping of price and earning money from your investment.  It is the role it can play in the future and how it might change the currency system worldwide.

For me it is impossible to happen but in this generation everything is possible to happen,

I do not agree the least. Many of the people how blame Bitcoin and call it scam coin are responsible for their own loss in the crypto market. They enter the market with little and some time no knowledge and information about how to do trading and make decisions about when to sell or buy. As a result, they loose their invested money and out of desperation and dejection start calling Bitcoin scam coin and much more. The technology on the other hand has been helping people change lives and enjoy every bit of the market.

You are committing a fallacy of generalizing bitcoin due to the scope of your experience. Instead of blaming the coin, blame yourself for being negligible. I definitely agree. With its volatile nature and price, no one can accurately predict its price on the market but there are certain variables that can be consider that may somehow know its price margin. Depending on the current news and implementations made by countries who are against or for bitcoin, you can use that as a factor in determining the increase/decrease on its price.
