I have my Snovio (SNOV) tokens too because i am a bounty participant of the said ICO. I was just  so late to participate in the campaign but i still have a fair share. I never thought that 0.01 value will rise drastically giving me good profit already. But for now, i will just hodl it and i want to tip my hat to the Snovio team for this very successful project and the first of its kind.

You calculated how much your coins were worth based off of coinmarketcap?
If you did, then you, unfortunately, are incredibly far from being a millionare.
Also, you are saying you bought a coin when it was pumping 50x?
How on earth can you think that is a good price to buy at?

You really need to have an end game in mind if you truly desire to be a millionare.
What that means is, how are you going to liquidate your assets?

How are you going to turn that coin into actual money?
How are you going to pay your taxes?
What are you going to do with your new found wealth?

Sorry to be harsh, but these kinds of posts just encourage the fantasy that doing crypto will magically make you a millionare.

Such things can occur to people , in both ways : the ones who invested in cryptos and totally forgot about them and those who were selling coins that are worth X20 the price they sold for .

 It's more a matter of luck and perspective , and no one can really predict the future so whatever happens next is yet to be known . What we can learn tho from such experiences is that opportunities might be just under our noses and we need to be just a little bit courageous to go all in with the hope to seize a one life time chance .

As long as fiat is going into crypto, everybody will win ;) The people investing fiat will end with the same amount in the worst case, and the people hodl'ing crypto will get rich!

You should consider that you wont sell all youre coins at the current price because once you start selling the price will go down. I estimate you have 2.7 mil coins... this means you will have to wait some time to cash out at a good price.

So i don't think it's weird anymore for someone who becomes a millionaire by having a coin whose future is good.

It was just 0.018 USD per token at 24 DEC 2017, now it is 0.35$. SNOV growed almost x20 times!

Man, I wish I could have known that coin earlier but I think other is still coins out there that has not been boomed yet. Like for example, DeepOnion. Wow congratulations! I think there is someone that can get really lucky with investment in cryptocurrency though.
I think that's because you forgot your first wallet and just let all the coins there be the way it is without doing anything. So it increases high without you knowing and you make wrong move buy selling them or what.
Because now, there are many people that sell their coin although it only increases a little, and regret it later because the price increases even more.
I think i'm gonna hold my coins too and hope for big profits.

The big lesson of this thread for me is if you believe in the project then don't sell any bounties or airdrops. Too many times I have been guilty of selling tokens in order to load up on Ethereum or Bitcoin. I will really think from now on before I sell any smaller coins.

Well, do you really think that this is good advice? I dont think so. I think someone that just made his first million should not try to double or tripple it, because this is so called greed that is kicking in. I would rather advise to realize profits and fulfill dreams or use the money for whatever it can be used for. Just imagine the whole cryptomarket going south in the next months and suddenly having even less than the initial investment while you could have realized (cashed out) one million USD...

Lets assume even taking into account the "began buy more since" that he then doubled his money by buying/selling even more and doubled his initial investment. He'd still have had to put 10k in to do 50x which gives 500,000 and then double on hedging.

I can't see anyone 'forgetting' about a 10k investment unless they're already minted in which case being a millionaire wouldn't be such a big deal.

i think it's easy to be a millionaire with cryptocurenies, most of the "looking good" project are raising, we have seen this in a lot
of other tokens, we just need to keep trying, it's a matter of a few years.

Whether the story is true or not, accidentally discovering some of investor's coin in forgotten wallet is normal occurence in cryptocurrency community. It happened to me recently also on ED where I got couple of HAT token that blew up 1000 times. My rule of thumb in this game is to buy as many quality coin as I can!

Yes, We must hold a coin/token and wait for it to be more valuable through their upcoming projects in few months or years.
Then an exchange will come to them and list on the market. This will probably make the price blew up to 20x - 50x from the recent price.

Being a millionaire isn't what it used to be given how high inflation is these days, a nice apartment in NYC or London will cost you $1M easily and you also have to pay the tax man that wants their fair share of your gains in any case. There are two and only two certainties in life, one is death and the other one is taxes. You can sure the tax man will take a crack at your wallet and shake you down until your wealth spews out. Hopefully, you live in a low tax jurisdiction and get to keep most of your gains.
