I don't recommend buying. Bitcoin lost a huge portion of its market share to altcoins. The public are not happy with bitcoin shortcomings (high fees, slow confirmations, public transactions). Bitcoin is first but that doesn't make it the best. It is missing a lot of modern features. The dip is a good investment opportunity because I speculate the price will go up again due to high interest in altcoins. But don't expect it to be king for long as it will soon be dethroned.

I suggest investing into new altcoins. Many are loaded with modern features. I recommend looking into privacy altcoins as they got huge interest from the public in 2017. Look for open-source, decentralized, anonymous altcoins that provide private transactions. Do your research and pick what you feel will be successful in the future with high demand.

I was out of Crypto for the last year and a half and missed the last train.

Btc dropped from 20k to 10k and thought it was as good of a time as any to get back in, problem was that it took ages because people selling and most the the atms out of coins and sitting on huge amounts of cash trying to get in.

I don't really see cryptocurrency going away any time soon, up about 25% so far.

I've been debating this for a while. History shows that Bitcoin tends to take a big hit from one of it's highs and continues to go down from there for a few months before hitting a new high in the long term.

Because of this I'm thinking that it would probably be better to wait a few months to monitor and possibly invest if it's showing upward trends again.

We should take this opportunity since it is not always come, We dont know what will be happen in coming days, all of our effort lets extend because I am sure that there will be a big blessing that will come that will paid our all sacrifice we made. I do not even expect a true believer who got into bitcoin for the right reasons should have any reason to panic at times like this. The long term is what matters the most. for today We observe almost one dips, so I do not even know whether to buy or still wait and invest my money in alternative coins. This volatile market is very disturbing and alarming.

No dip has been recorded last couple of days, instead the price of Bitcoin have been appreciating. As I write this, Bitcoin is trading at $11,181.84 at Coindesk, still maintaining a bulling tone after breaching the $11,000 price level. For anyone that have been following Bitcoin closely, it should be obvious that the market is simply waiting for the slightest positive news and we would be right on track to making new ATH.

I agree! In my opinion, why bitcoin is dropping, it is because those who already earn small amount sell their bitcoin immediately because I think they are afraid with long term investment.
