Title: Some of my friends still think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi
Post by: winyau8888 on February 12, 2018, 02:58:03 AM
Dear all,

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?

Do you have enough education about how bitcoin and blockchain work ? If yes told them, explain all of that to them, if they still dont believe that bitcoin is currency of the future just let it like that, at least you allready told them. And in the future when you allready succes and drive a lambo you ome again to them and tell this is what bitcoin can do to your life

Some people are simply close minded, and there's nothing we can do with that. If I we're you, I'd just explain to them what a "ponzi" really means and how bitcoin isn't a ponzi, because it never promised any returns. Don't waste your time trying to convince people in to an industry that they probably couldn't understand.

My friends were skeptical at first (this was around 2014) and started asking me about Bitcoin last year when we hit the all time high. And stuff about Bitcoin just blurted out of my mouth, explained them how Bitcoin works, what is mining process, why is the price always swinging up and down like crazy, etc. In the end, I realized that they're only interested to become rick quickly.

My advise is to tell them the good and bad things about Bitcoin in general first, let them process the information you give and let them decide what is Bitcoin for them. Ignore my story above as most of my friends are jerks.

I still get it from some of my friends and relatives. They still think that Bitcoin is just a scam even on how much I educated them how block chain works. Some people are not just really open to change. The only thing that we could do them is try to help them understand crytpo currency if they are not open minded then it is not our lose.

Skeptics will always be skeptics. The thing is, if you are having a hard time trying to convince them of the BTC, then show them how much it is worth, and that it can be legally sold for a high price. If something is a scam or a ponzi, then why does it have value, it is as simple as that.

For some people the problem is they can't look past what Bitcoin means to them morally.  The more conservative type may be resistant to change.  I would recommend they read books such as Digital Gold and The Internet of Money.  Tell them to youtube andreas antonopoulos and start from his beginning videos.

Great quote from Andreas Antonopoulos -"I think many of the intellectually honest people eventually stop being critics, because they suddenly realize that the flaws they are identifying are temporary features, issues, and not inherent problems. There are very few inherent problems in a dynamically evolving design or ecosystem of different designs all competing, that cannot be resolved.  There are critics who criticize this technology primarily based on their world view.   It is politically inconsistent with their world view.  It’s not that they do not like the technology it’s that they do not like the implications of this technology and the primary criticism you get then is “this should not be” to which all I can answer is ..and yet it is.  “but we mustn’t”… and yet we did, “but you shouldn’t”.. but yet we did".

Also Wall-street now has direct ties to Bitcoin with Futures CBOE/CME groups etc.

You do not need to care about them. All you need to do is show them your return on investment in the crypto market. Action and results are things that appeal to people.
Do not say much and just act. Their friends are lazy and do not want to work for the crypto market. That is my opinion and hope you will refer and apply them.

I could not blame your friends why they have this kind of mindset about Bitcoin and I assumed cryptocurrency in general. On thing for sure is that right now, there are many people who got evil intentions and they are scamming people left and right all because there is really a brewing interest for cryptocurrency this is not to mention the many phishing and hacking attacks we heard from time to time. I have been one of the many victims of phishing and the feeling is never nice to say the least.

So what you can do? i suggest you do nothing...it is not your duty to convince anyone and it will be much more helpful if you let them discover for themselves the whole truth about cryptocurrency. You don't want to place yourself as the one to blame just in case their experience with cryptocurrency may not turn out to be so positive. We know how volatile this market is and if one is a faint-hearted then this industry may not be for that person.

to be honest i have never seen anybody in real life that thinks bitcoin is a scam or Ponzi scheme. these are the things that i have always heard people say online!
in real life they may be scared of the price, think it is a bubble, think government can ban bitcoin, think bitcoin can die if they buy it, and a lot of things like that but never heard anyone mention scam. your friends are either idiots or have ONLY been reading some FUD about bitcoin from one source and never even bothered googling what bitcoin is.

It's hard to convince them if they are already close minded about the topic. If you insist on giving them some advice they would just not listen to you and some may even avoid you because they would think you wanted them to be involved in the "scam" so just let them be. Let them discover it for themselves. They would approach you if in case bitcoin is doing better and they will see it all over the news. I personally don't discuss it openly to my friends unless they are the one who are asking for it because I might be branded as scammer if in case I would convince them to invest and then they invest and the price went down.

Bitcoin lives since 2009 and has already confirmed that this is not a Ponzi scheme.
Today, the entire world economy begins to depend to some extent on bitcoin.

Sometimes you just can't convince others.. you'll have people naturally hate anything that they aren't involved in and their only real defense when you have 1000s of % gains is "but itll goto zero eventually" or "its a scam".. the more successful you are, the more haters you'll come in contact with.. its the way you know what youre doing is successful.

how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
1. Tell them that currency has evolved from Barter--> Gold--> Paper Instruments/ Cheques--> Wire transactions. These all were essentially generated by centralized entities. Tell them this is not necessarily a good thing and that Bitcoin enables this to be decentralized for the first time.

2. Tell them its going to be widely accepted one way or the other, why not atleast educate themselves and be future-ready.

3. Tell them that what would have happened if they had bought into Google and Facebook years ago. People said that search service like Google cannot be monetized. But hey, Netowork effect.

4. Understand the above things properly yourself for a more convincing argument.

5. Tell them to invest time and brains into this to be future ready.  Tell them to invest only what they can afford to lose after they understand the above points.

Lastly, the most adamant amongst them are the ones who think they missed the train and are bitter about it. They are the money minded children of God and you can really do nothing about them. Its best that they stay away. Those people are typically scammers as they'll do anything for the money.

they think like that because they have no knowledge about bitcoin, I think you have to explain what is bitcoin and how it work for them. explain slowly until they are can understand what you mean. we have to do something and bitcoin will getting more famous so that the bitcoin enthusiasts will continue to grow.

It is just normal because bitcon is already in the news and the news it telling the bitcoin is just a big scam so already a lot of people are get influnce by the media and at the same time the bitcoin is really use in illegal transaction in the black market so they see bitcoin as a thing in the deep web because it is the currency use in the deep weeb.

Yes, my family and friends still think bitcoin is a scam. They still don't believe me when I tell them about the mining principles of bitcoin and its development around the world. I don't know how to explain it to them.

Do not push someone to learn if they are not willing. It is nonsense if you forced them to ride back at your want. Let them free or else they will blame you if it will fail. Nothing to worry because you said it already to them. Its up to them if they will accept your offer or not.

Maybe that will happen. We should not believe in bitcoin blindly. I doubt that bitcoin is a scam and ponzi. But I still do not dare to affirm my opinion and I still have to learn every day to know the information.
If really bitcoin is ponzi then I will never invest in them anymore. Because the result of bitcoin will be the same as bitcoinnect.

My friends are actually thinking the same about bit coin, I cant blame them, recently news are saying that bit coin and cryptocurrencies are scams and many people are investing on it and people are being scammed. Actually, its true that there are many people that are being scammed using bitcoin, but bitcoin itself is not a scam as well as other cryptocurrencies. As for me, I just let them say whatever they wanna say, but one day, they noticed that Im starting to get new things then just recently I have just invested on a business and they are now all very much interested in learning about the cryptoworld, but they still ask me if bitcoin is a scam, but the thing now is, they actually believe me now.

Well we couldn't really convince everybody if they are closed minded people ,
I mean even if we could show them some proof and explain it to them if they already made up their minds and don't want to know the truth,
There is absolutely nothing that we could do for them to like bitcoin.

The best way to convince anyone is to show them the result. I've experienced the same thing, in which my colleagues are telling me that it is a scam, well, I will just reply that "It's because you don't know". If only they will try to learn cryptocurrency, they will be able to say that it's all worth it. I'm not yet earning for now since I just started in this community this year, so if it happens, I'll just go back to them and show them how my money grows. For sure, they will be interested to learn immediately.

You have to explain to them how fiat money works and how fiat currencies are the biggest scam that this world have ever seen. A bunch of government puppets are printing pretty pictures on a piece of cloth and then they tell you that it is worth something.

There is no difference between a $1 or a $10 note, apart from the fact that some government are promising people that it has some value. Not just that, they have full control over the value of those notes, because they control the supply.

The price of bitcoins are determined by supply & demand on a open market. There will only be 21,000,000 coins mined, so you know what the total supply will be. Educate them. ^smile^

This is the exact way one should not going about it.  This shows them literally nothing at all and doesn't prove a thing.   I hope that you do not take advice like this.  Be engaging, ask them why they feel the way they do in regard to bitcoin being a "ponzi"... and answer their concerns.  As another poster mentioned educate yourself first and foremost so that you'll be able to speak with them intelligently.

REMEMBER PEOPLE- If you're here as a believer than you need to spread the word and educate others.  Look at what Andreas antonopoulos has done in the name of bitcoin all along he wasn't profiting from it!  This is a global revolution and arming yourself with knowledge to hit back at the pundits is whats of utter importance right now.

Here's a great quote you could pass along to your friends  "At the end of the day, bitcoin is programmable money. When you have programmable money, the possibilities are truly endless. We can take many of the basic concepts of the current system that depend on legal contracts, and we can convert these into algorithmic contracts, into mathematical transactions that can be enforced on the bitcoin network. As I’ve said, there is no third party, there is no counterparty. If I choose to send value from one part of the network to another, it is peer-to-peer with no one in between. If I invent a new form of money, I can deploy it to the entire world and invite others to come and join me. Bitcoin is not just money for the internet. Yes, it’s perfect money for the internet. It’s instant, it’s safe, it’s free. Yes, it is money for the internet, but it’s so much more. Bitcoin is the internet of money. Currency is only the first application. If you grasp that, you can look beyond the price, you can look beyond the volatility, you can look beyond the fad. At its core, bitcoin is a revolutionary technology that will change the world forever. Join”  Andreas A.

Most of you maybe correct, they are mostly close minded and are not ready for new stuff which is changing the world.

I just let the business headlines do the convincing for me. Now, some of them are asking me for advise. Not now, too busy on fulfilling my travel goals because of bitcoins.

Well there are people that don't have enough knowledge about Bitcoin and how it really works, they think Bitcoin is scam or ponzi scheme because there are lots of scamming happening but it is not really Bitcoin that scam people, that is those investment program that takes advantage of decentralized nature of Bitcoin and being hard to trace. Honestly you cannot change some peoples mind on how they think about Bitcoin because what they only see is the bad side or disadvantage of using it but if they are open about learning more about cryptocurrency then you can, maybe they are just scared and just want someone to enlighten them.

Yes and I feel it also that I did share about this Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency stuff but they never believed as we are. They just knew that Bitcoin exist and people earn money on it but on the other hand they thought that this things were just part of scams and global ponzi schemes.
We can't force them to believe because for me - we don't lose any of our Crypto Assets when they don't want to believe.
For me that the important is they know that Bitcoin exist and let them realize that this Cryptocurrency is our future, they accept it or not - they must adapt Cryptocurrency as the future of our monetary system.

Indeed, I shared Bitcoin to my friends but we don't have to force them because soon enough whether they accept or not - they must adapt the future of our monetary system that which Cryptocurrency is the new way of making and earning money and to be used as payments for items, products and other services locally or international.
They already knew that Bitcoin exist but they're not willing to adapt because they heard more news and read some articles that pointing Bitcoin is a fraud and like a global ponzi scams that  which partly correct because scammers are indeed using Cryptocurrency to take advantage from people who aren't educated well about cryptocurrency and other related things around Blockchain.

For some who are just new to this for sure after they seen what happen previously without tracing any information they will think that bitcoin is a scam, but for us who already knew it much earlier we are believing that its just a normal situations from our investment, if you want to give them some idea
just point them to the direction where they can simply see the potentials, personal experience will be more convincing than giving them any tips, showing what you already got and how you are enjoying it will give them interest.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used to pay a good or service online as long as it is accepted by the merchants. Ponzi is an operation where the operator generates profit from older investors through money paid by the new investors. For example, ponzi scheme may be an online website where you can invest bitcoin and they will promise you an ROI ranging from 5%-11% depending on amount invested.

In this case, your friends should already realize that Bitcoin is JUST a digital currency used in "Fraudulent acts such as Ponzis". In fact just being able to convert bitcoin into any other currencies can already convince you that it is not a scam. Just like with our fiat money, it can be used also in Ponzis and Pyramid schemes where they will promise you also a good return of investment if you will join their program and recruit more people to join. It is not the bitcoin itself that is to be considered a scam, but how it was used by somebody is what it makes look like a scam.

Actually with how bitcoin is defined and how it is, a lot of people can actually be in disbelief how this can turn into a money making scheme woth how you are dealing with currency that you cannot even see or touch and how its value can be determined. Which is why their fears are balid and its up to us the people immersed in the cryptocurrency community and bitcoin to explain and show them the way

They are closed minded about bitcoin and hates me when I brought it to the topic. My way to show that the bitcoin is not a scam is to show them what i’ve got since I am into bitcoin. Most of them do not understand the whole idea of crypto, this is the reason. Try to educate them.

You don't have to tell them, because they think the boom and bust must be behind it because it's a ponzi scheme. They don't know about bitcoin, they don't know the blockchain, so when they know about bitcoin in the future, you just need to give them a smile.

Honestly, I'm not trying to persuade someone who doesn't want to believe anything.
If they do not accept it, that's their job and thats it. Just let them see your crypto results.  :)

Maybe some of your friends think that bitcoin is a kind of scam or ponzi. I will not blame them of how they think about bitcoin but I think it's too harsh to say bitcoin is a scam or ponzi especially if you don't have enough evidence and you didn't experience it on your own . It's true that Don't judge the book by it's cover especially if you don't know the story behind it.

It is funny to know that your friends still think that bitcoins are scam as they will be the once who belong to that category who is not updated about anything that is going on the society and they may be the once who are stuck in their own little fancy world where they only know on how to do social networking and chatting and wasting time on unwanted things . The could even understand what bitcoins are if they at least spend some time with the news paper or find little bitcoins time to check the news that is going on in the world. All i got to say is they belong to the category of idiots who has no idea about what is going on in the world. In fact they can be called as bunch of idiots as bitcoins is trending everywhere and it is being the main topic every news media .

Show them the graph which indicates the price of BTC at the beginning of 2009 and show them the current price of BTC as of today or in the beginning of this year. Tell them there are pretty good chances that bitcoin will cross $25k this year. Tell them the benefits of using BTC as a currency and let them know how much profit others have made investing in Bitcoin. At last you must say them if not bitcoin there are 1500 other currencies as well which still have a bright future ahead. They will then know that cryptocurrencies are here to stay for long.

first you should know, your way to convey good knowledge and understanding. this is important, you should do step by step slowly. and give them good insights, direct illumination. shows the market. yes quite difficult and hassle I guess.

From the start, I just tempt my friends with the payouts in my signature & bounty campaigns. Then once they are interested in bitcoin, I explained it to them to have knowledge on it. Now they are thinking much and making succeding questions. Making them knowledgeable about bitcoin can really be self satisfying because I could educate them the possibilities of bitcoin in the future.

Good point. So many people fail to observe how bitcoin has rapidly risen in value ever since its inception way back in 2009. Something worth a couple of cents is worth thousands of dollars at the moment which is seriously insane and worth appreciating if you think about it. Coins like Bitconnect etc are some of the main reasons why many people shy away from the crypto world since they fail to observe the legit coins hidden among the plethora of scam coins out there. Bitcoin is here to stay and there is no need to convince anyone regarding this since its upto them if they wish to be a part of this revolution or not.

If you know many things about bitcoin then share it to them then ask what is the definition of "Ponzi" and "Scam". In my experience, the people who are saying bitcoin as a ponzi or scam doesn't know really what is the definition of these 2 terms.

You want so give them some hints? They are your friends right? You know how they are thinking about a certain thing and as you said, they think bitcoin as a scam. You don't need to give some hints to them. What are you going to do?? Just continue earning and let them see what you have achieved in earning here in cryptocurrency and that is the time that they will change their mind and will join in what you are doing. You don't need to educate them especially if they are close-minded.

Just continue earning and show it to your friends in the future that the thing they say its a scam is the thing that will make you rich in the next years.

winyau8888, it is better to leave them thinking so,if they want to learn about BTC and cryptocurrency they can just go online and search for facts.Sometimes is better leave things to evolve in natural way,if you try explain them some things some of your friends could invest the money and lose it for some reason(hack, lost private key/seed,big price drop).

When it comes to money and investment people should take responsibility for themselves. If somebody thinks BTC is scam&ponzi let him continue to think that,at the end every opinion should be respected.

Yeah and it also depend on how he/she explains it because those who thought that btc is scam or ponzi just don't know what they are believing. We grown up using traditional way of paying goods and services by using fiat currency so I think it is normal that some people don't totally believe btc. Well, people have different perspective in life and even if they are wrong with what they say, they will stand with their pride and trying to convinced themselves that they are really correct.

We can't please anyone to believe about that but if you really want them to believe that bitcoin is not a scam but rather a good investment, you can explain everything you know about bitcoin, it's advantages and benefits that it can give. Also showing some evidences is a good proof that bitcoin is not like what they think it is.

Bitcoin becomes related to scams and ponzis because of the news from the mainstream media. Everytime bitcoin was being reported it appears to be something cannot be trusted. Instead of educating the viewers with right perspective, they instead brain wash them. Another thing why people look at it negatively is because the use of bitcoin is uncontrollable even illegal activities might be done using it.

Bitcoin also looks like a bubble, there is no assurance and the value is not stable. If only people will come to know it really well, they will realize that it is worth investing regardless of  what the people are saying.

One of the things I've learned about crypto or Bitcoin is never to convince anyone about it unless they are really interested. Let them learn it themselves, you don't have to spoonfed them. If you're an investor keep it yourself, I do that so no one will blame me if the value dips and they panic sell because I suggested it to them.

Having to pay $55 to miners just to store 250 bytes of data last month is a scam as is the lightning network
that consists of banking hubs that the miners are running and it's all hidden from view and is not on the
block-chain

The Bitcoin apple has turned rotten not that this means other software development teams cannot
control there greed and remember most of them are miners too and are running this ponzi scam

An example of the greedy Bitcoin miners and development team needs to be made as it is already happening
because it has become a rip-off and other crypto-coins should rise to the top as this one falls.

I care not for excuses about transactions fees or introducing banker hubs in the Lightning network and we will
see democracy in action with good replacing the evil that Bitcoin has become.

Maybe one good solution is to try to adopt their point of view.

Maybe this can help them to understand your point of view...

I think that the recent crash can be taken as a prove that bitcoin is not a scam and not a ponzi. If it was, it would have collapsed. No system that is designed to remove money from many and give it to just a few would be able to survive a downfall like we have seen. I think that the recent crash proves that bitcoin can be seen like a company. The shares can go up and down, but behind it stands a decent economical construct.

At first I have lots of friends who do not believe in Bitcoin or other digital cryptocurrencies and they thought the same thing. What I did is I proved to them that is is not a scam and many do create Ponzi schemes to get money out of other people but told them Bitcoin is not that at all. I would suggest you to let them see what you have been doing, like for instance in this forum and let them know what Bitcoin really is. And you have to also have knowledge with what you want to educate them because of course how can you teach them or educate them when you yourself lack education out of it too. So first thing you should do is educate yourself first, once you are confident already in what you are doing and you are earning then apply what I have suggested but if it still doesn't work for them then just let them be.

Well, that's true that there are people don't believe yet in btc. That its not easy to explain to the people who have no knowledge about bitcoin. Its better to talk seriously to them and discuss well so that they can understand. I think its better to tell them that its on your self if you believe it or not, the important is you give them idea how to invest and you show them the prove that its true, its not a scam. Give more time to advice them always. There are many ways so that they believe, so don't stop to convince them until they start to invest.

This is pretty obvious to happen, specially people with old minded thoughts does considers it to be scam and ponzi, and not only bitcoin but the whole crypto currency system, the blockchain. I believe we can't do anything extraordinary to make them believe, the media and the government would do it for sure, may be not today or tomorrow, but in near future for sure. Make your friends educate themselves. Scammers are just using bitcoin as a ponzi scheme but overall bitcoin have many different purpose. Maybe tell them that it is one of the bitcoin's uses. But even though it has bad usage there is also a good usage. They are just looking to the bad side and not doing research at all on what things that bitcoin do convenience to its users. Bitcoin maybe doubtful, yes, but it is not an excuse to destroy its name to new users.

Every person has it's own perspective and thinking. Not everyone can think in same manner.People who think bitcoin is scam has probably have some misconception regarding bitcoin and we can clear that. But some have their own stories like one of my friend from india think that bitcoin was made by Indian businessmans to make their black money, which are their in foiregn banks to white through bitcoin.Which was not only stupid but illogical and you can't even explain to them as they are not ready.Soo we should avoid negative people and should earn profits.

I do not think it is even necessary to try to convince closed-minded people. It will only do you harm than good. Just think of it this way, their opinion on Bitcoin does not affect your Bitcoin investments. You will not make money from them. So that is just it. As they say, learn to choose your battles. This move, of course, does not mean that we are silenced by these people; it only means their opinions do not change our situations, so why even bother?

Try not to mind them unless they engage you in a conversation. But take note, you never win against those whose minds have been closed for quite awhile.

About being a scam and ponzi, you might as well want to refresh to them the definition of these terms. That way, they will realize for themselves how Bitcoin fall short on the characteristics of those.

It is hard to change the mindset of other people when its about Bitcoin or cyrptocurrency. But one thing I observed about them, they dont have the capital for investment and they are resistance to the ide aof bitcoin. My advice for you is not to be involve with them because they might scare you away. Just keep on working on Bitcoin and show them all the things you have achieve becaus eof Bitcoin. Sometimes, what you see is whta you get.

And some of my elder brothers still think that bitcoin will go under 1k and then it will be vanish like Mavrodi Currency in Russia. They don't belive in bitcoin , they asked me that" Tell me who is the leader of bitcoin, from where bitcoin is managing? Why i need to invest in bitrcoin where i don't know who is the owner of bitcoin: But when price was 19k, They told me that if i bought some btc then now i can be millionaire but now when bitcoin under 9k they are saying again that , That highly pump was just a hype and now bitcoin will go for vanish!

Actually, Do not care those people.

I dont understand how bitcoin can be a ponzi. It is not a platform that promises weekly and monthly interests on their money. Buying and holding bitcoin is like buying an asset or a property the only difference is that is it virtual and not physical asset. It is like buying gold and holding it and the only difference is that gold is physical and it doesnt make much differencs in price so the possible profit is not also that big.

It's really hard to explain people what bitcoin is because they are very used to the current system, and they only hear what the media says about bitcoin. Usually media likes flashy titles, and loves spreading fud because it sells, so since your friends don't really dig more information about bitcoin, they will jsut stay with the hype around crypto markets, and they will of course consider it a ponzi, or a bubble, or something that will never work.

What you did was just fine, you told them to read more about bitcoin. I would suggest you to tell them to listen to Andreas Antonopoulos since he is really passionate about bitcoin, and explains things very well (getting it technical but simple to understand). If they don't get convinced by him, then they will only get convinced once BTC gets adopted.

I have many friends who also think like that. Its like "authorities will go after you if they find out that you are involve in scam like bitcoin". I show them evidences that bitcoin is not illegal and they would gain good profit from it. But still they refuse to believe. I also showed them my gains but still no luck. What I did is, I stopped encouraging the, since they have their own minds and decision. If a person is closed minded to bitcoin, we can hardly encourage them.

If they are really interested in it,they would have checked out and learned rather than listening to fake news and opinions from people who are not well versed in technology, there is nothing you can do to make skeptics believe you ,unless you have the power to inform them of their naive thinking,if not just shut up and have fun with friends rather than correcting them. ;)

You can show them what are things that bitcoin have change in your life. Show them the opportunities bitcoin has offered to everyone. Let them know the beauty of this cryptocurrency. Let them know that with having knowledge in this cryptocyrrency you can become rich but it takes time. Let them know and let them be curious about it and if they still not accept it then stop you do not have to please them. They will soon realize the decisions they have made.

We sure cannot blame their ignorance. It is because they are not yet educated about what bitcoin is and its benefits. I'd suggest you share them some articles on bitcoin via social media like Facebook or WhatsApp and make sure to explain it better to them one on one.
But I think the best motivation for them is your success in dealing in bitcoin.  With your success, they will see for sure the benefits of bitcoin and how they've been missing out.

Because of the way things have been happening in the crypto space, and the way in which the mass media have focused exclusively on spreading only the negative aspects or the FUD that has circulated recently regarding bitcoin, I think that your friends have some reason to be suspicious about the subject, but a little research on the Internet would suffice to realize for themselves that bitcoin is much more than the rumors that circulate freely everywhere.

It's just a normal reaction if you don't know exactly what the thing is. Like those people who think BTC is scam , their notion is like that because they're not joining this forum. All we could do is to prove and show to them that BTC is really not a scam by doing the things we usually do here.

if you feel unable to explain about bitcoin to them, I suggest just let them in their opinion. Because if you try to explain bitcoin to them while your knowledge is still small, I think it will trap you.
do they know you like bitcoin?

The best way to make their perspective change most especially the negative things about bitcoin is to let and make them see. Everyone have different mindset and you can't please all of them. They think and act that way because they didn't have the proper knowledge in the first place. Given that, they're not ready to engage themselves with something regarding crypto for it is a total 'scam' for them which is the complete opposite.

It's not easy to give an understanding of it, but at least we can share information, even if your friend still thinks that bitcoin is a scam.

If that will be their thinking about bitcoin so leave them alone. We cannot please everybody specially on their opinion so lets have to respect them. Lets just continue to work hard to have good earning and be a good example to them and prove them that bitcoin is not a scam. That bitcoin really gives people an opportunity to have a good future without financial difficulties. Continue to spread the good news to those friends who believe in bitcoin and give them also the chance to earn and learn what this crypto currency world means about. Maybe later those who didn't believe in you if they hear and see what you have right now they will be convince that they are wrong with their perceptions about bitcoin.

Be friendly but stop talking about bitcoin, I do not have the time to try to convince every single person of the great characteristics of bitcoin if they do not want to listen then they can keep their fiat and keep going nowhere as most people do, I invest in bitcoin and I know that sooner or later my life will be improved by it, when they finally see the results bitcoin can bring they will want to get in as well but it will be too late, it may seem cruel but I'm tired of trying to convince people.

It doesn't help when the mainstream media is fanning those flames. Even a respected news org like The Economist is still publishing articles that have lines like: "Bitcoin has become a combination of a bubble, a Ponzi scheme and an environmental disaster". In fairness, they are quoting someone else, but they also don't provide any counter-arguments to it.

Bitcoin is not scam at all. It's a real investement that brought people money and made them gain profit yet people consider it scam because it is risky, very profitable but very risky too. So you can simply lose a lot of money by going with the wrong decisions. The thing about bitcoin is it's imaginary numbers something that didnt cost anything in 2009 is now at 10000k makes it look like a scam but believe me it is the real deal.

My suggestion would be, try to find their interest and make it popular or known to you by using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. For example is, if he is a headphone enthusiat then buy the best and expensive one and when he or she asked you how then bitcoin will kick in through their mind and appreciate it.

Bitcoin is neither a scam nor a Ponzi. A Ponzi scheme requires you getting money from one source and using it to pay another, which is completely different from the concept behind bitcoin. For it being a scam - a scam to me is what no longer exist, but bitcoin still does.

That is the point, there is nothing to be done once people aren't listening to your arguments. They don't want to analyze facts and don't want to give themselves the chance to change their minds. It's like an hypnosis state. In some cases, these people listen too much the media and other sources considered intellectuals and very intelligent, so what these smart ones speak it's enough for the closed-minded people reach to their conclusions.

Its hard to convinced people to invest on bitcoin because they feed with a wrong information through social media and we can’t control that but of course we can make difference. We should tell them everything we got from bitcoin and all the losses we incur, but don’f ever forced them to do so cause at the end their decision will still matter.

Some people don't believe if they don't see a proof that bitcoin is legit. Try to explain again to them and you can show to them your proof that you get a profit on bitcoin to prove them that they are wrong.

Not only friends, top notch finance proffesors here in my hometown also believe bitcoin is just bubble scheme. I try to describe blockchain to people and how its changing way of currencies, they just keep ignoring.
Time will explain that bitcoins are not as they think. as more and more bitcoin gets used by many people around them and then your friends will realize that they've missed a great opportunity to join bitcoin in the beginning. You do not have to be busy and have trouble telling them. time that will make them familiar with bitcoin because I'm sure bitcoin will be very famous in the future

This is due to lack of Education about cryptocurrency and also because of FUD created by media and other well-known buss. personalities. In past also, many INTERNET ponzi scheme has looted people which has created a negative mind set of people toward BTC. But need not worry soon everybody will know about BTC potential.

They have their own perception about Bitcoin, if they do not believe in Bitcoin let them be. It is really hard to convince someone who has a strong belief about what they are believing into. Once you've earned the benefits of Bitcoin and when they discovered that you earned its benefits, then their perception will change towards Bitcoin. Changing a perception of an individual will only give you problems, just focus on your goals and leave them.

Yes, everyone must have their own opinions. We can not force it. Our task only explains the fact that it is not ponzi. It's up if they want to believe it or not, it's important we have done the right thing and become part of the lucky people who have known bitcoin well.

That is right that the people are now have a misunderstanding about cryptocurrencies and they just think that the cryptocurrency like bitcoin is just a scam because of the recent news about scams that is happening inside the cryptocurrency field. I really hope that the newbies now were not like the past and they will do research first to avoid getting scammed.

I think it is just their own opinion to believe that it is a scam just ignore them because as we who believe in bitcoin and other crypto currency they cannot overpower our beliefs because we all know the truth and we had proven already that bitcoin is not a scam and it is real. We cannot please them to believe and i am sure they will regret it in the end.

Maybe your friends think like that because, they often read bad news about bitcoin spread by the media that do not know what bitcoin, Because some of my friends are equally negative thinking about bitcoin, the cause is a lot of negative news about bitcoin. And it's easy for me to convince them that bitcoin is not a scam. I explained the most important nuclei in bitcoin and immediately practiced how to work bitcoin to make them understand better. And after that I told my friend to see vidio on youtube or read-baca on google about bitcoin. Then not long after my friend asked me to make this bitcoin account. So basically they do not know anything about bitcoin yet.

Will in my own thinking we respect there own privacy, that they called bitcoin a scam or ponzi, but if they give us a chance to listen,by educating them about bitcoin and they understand what is the purpose of cryptocurrency to help people and the ecomics growth of the community.me also first i didnt believe bitcoin but when my co workers invite me and i earned a bitcoins thats the time i embrace bitcoin and until now im become  a bounty hunter, and investment trader.so to make them believe that bitcoin is real you must show them your profits coming from bitcoin.

When there is money involved things change. If you explain to your friends about Bitcoin it will either be good for them or bad for their investment.if there are returns nobody would bat an eye but if things go south then you are in a shit load of storm.the best thing to do would to be explain to them the harsh reality of Bitcoin that it's unpredictable like their reaction and anything could happen if they are going to invest to do so at their own risk and not blame you.if you are a veteran in the crypto world u would know there are ups and downs but not everybody can digest this fact and if they loose they would most likely blame you, money makes people do stupid things.its a two egged sword so tread carefully.

If some of your friends still think that bitcoin is a scam then you can do something to make them believe and encourage to also invest or deal with it. I know that some people will definitely start doubting about something if they never saw it in their own two eyes because to be honest, I am one of them before. When I saw my best friend making a real progress just because of working on signature campaign that is the moment when I feel that I should try to work in order to earn crypto currencies too and there fore I conclude that it is not scam because I experienced the fruit of dealing with crypto currencies. You should try to promote it also. Fighting!

If that's their opinion about bitcoin then let them be. You don't have to convince them or force them to believe what really bitcoin is. Some people really think of it as scam since most of them haven't had enough knowledge about it. I believe that people who are too close minded about it are those who always think negative about it.

I still get it from some of my friends and relatives. They still think that Bitcoin is just a scam even on how much I educated them how block chain works. Some people are not just really open to change. The only thing that we could do them is try to help them understand crytpo currency if they are not open minded then it is not our lose.
I have relatives who kept asking  me how bitcoin works. They have doubts that bitcoin is a scam and that I am only wasting my time, money and effort doing bitcoin. What I did was I showed them proofs of my earnings and I teach one of their kids and challenged them to do the same too. If for instance they did not earn, I will give them half of my earnings. Happy to say that the outcome of my challenge did great and their kids  whose only a high school student really did earn enough money for her school fees. Now they already prove that bitcoin is not a scam.

basically, to be able to understand the virtual currency for the beginning person is difficult. Its only normal for them to think that way. People dont trust what they cant see and more over it might look like a long process for them too. Convincing them will also be difficult due to the fact that some other internet business ends up to be fraud, and most people fell victim of those scam. Once you know the step and mostly all about bitcoin. You can teach them the steps one after the other. Show them what you have gotten from bitcoin to catch their attention.

Well, it can't be helped if people think of bitcoin that way because there are people who simply won' t try to understand no matter how hard or how valid your argument is. In such cases, just let them be. Rather than exhausting your energy explaining to them, use it instead to increase your knowledge and understanding in bitcoin. Not only you are helping yourself, you are also increasing your knowledge on this field which would be really helpful in the long run...

I do not blame your friends and family for misinterpreting bitcoins. I blame the fud starters, the government, media and Bank institions.

The government fears it, rather than adopting it, its hell bent on messing it up and destroy it.

Media is one of the biggest culprits out here, in the age of digital it has severely dented bitcoins with fud news.

Banks could work side by side and gain so much but all they care is of their monopoly, hence they do not support it.

I would suggest you to get their attention to Japan, show them success stories of bitcoins. Use info graphics and charts to drive your point home. Better give them few dollars in bitcoins to play with.

Almost everyone who is new in the industry of cryptocurrency thinks the way it is, Every time they hear the word BITCOIN/CRYPTOCURRENCY is next to the word scam/fraud because it is being used by exploitative people that are taking the advantages on other people who don't fully understand how bitcoin and cryptocurrency work. If you want your close friends, relatives, and co-worker fully how bitcoin works try to explain it in a simple way and not on a complex that they can't understand.

No kind words for a close-minded people that will make them believe about Bitcoin. Because if they are really not interested in it, they won't bother to listen and understand what you are trying to teach them. It is better not to force them. Just do your own business. But if one day they realized the beauty of our crypto world, then that is the time you'll help them by all means.

The main reason why people do not believe in bitcoin, is because they do not see evidence from bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most promising coin in cryptocurrency and this makes it possible for us to be rich and be better in the future. Only a few people do not believe in bitcoin, so if we want to believe them, let us show them an evidence and importance of bitcoin for all of us. Bitcoin gives fun to me because without bitcoin I can not help my parents and I can not buy anything.

Yiu can try to give suggestion to your friends that bitcoin isn't scam. If they still not believe it so ignore them.

Bitcoin lives since 2009 and has already confirmed that this is not a Ponzi scheme.
Today, the entire world economy begins to depend to some extent on bitcoin.
To say that the whole economy depends on bitcoin is not entirely accurate. I think bitcoin is just on the rise. Currently bitcoin is only common in some countries. And bitcoin is not a substitute for cash, some people do not even know they will not believe that bitcoin is the place to check out the highest income. I also recommend that some friends join the bitcoin business but they do not believe bitcoin generates income

The price of Bitcoin may go for a 100kusd nobody will surprised due to its price is based on pure speculation. As we had the dotcom bubble in our recent history, it is not backed by any governmental institutions or intermediary. I expect everything can happen. Its price is rising only because of the creating stories. Investors are taking out loans to buy Bitcoins.Keep in mind that 22.13 percent of Bitcoin investors did not pay off their credit card balance after purchasing Bitcoin. Bitcoin reflects merely demand for the mirage of its speculative value rather than a usage as currency. They are currently seems to be right to think that bitcoin is a Ponzi, hopefully it will change by the developments should be done.

Many still live in the past world and it is difficult for them to perceive something very new, and even more difficult to understand it. Many people believe in rumors and that we are told not analyzing this information. For the information to be correct it should be heard at least from two sources, and then to analyze the received information and to make the conclusion independently.

Let them think what they want to think about bitcoin because there is no way for their belief to change and they will stay negative out of bitcoin and will just become positive if they will see that bitcoin is mooning again and for sure that bitcoin will prove them wrong because even in the first place, bitcoin is not a scam and a ponzi and a lot of people can prove that.

true, i agree with this. i have told my friend about the way to earn extra money participating in bounty campaigns, and i spent my time on explaining how it all works, and then after a week of doing twitter bounty (and you know that twitter bounty campaign is the easiest, but also the cheapest i should say), she told me that it's just a waist of time and why would i put her through this crap.. so if a person wants to think that bitcoin and cryptoworld in general is crap, don't bother wasting your time reassuring them. evidently it's their choice and to right. try to show it by your example (but in my case it didn't help either)

I wouldn't even bother trying to change people's minds. In fact, when people call bitcoin a scam, I actually agree with them on the point that people are stupid and will buy when the price is already sky-high -- essentially agreeing it's not a good investment for most people, given its volatility.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
First of all you know that we cannot please everybody to understand what is bitcoin. The way you need is to proof them that you can get earnings from bitcoin, some people like that they not believe without any proof. Just share your knowledge to them about bitcoin if they don't want it's ok you did your best to share your knowledge.

Literally bitcoin is not a scam and it is only and investment. Bitcoin is not legal nor illegal. Bitcoin does only good to its members benefiting from the big earnings on the imvestment and that is really true about bitcoin. Many members already had changes their lifestyle after embracinf bitcoin. It is the effect of the big earnings that bitcoin has offer. Imaginr in just a short period of time for at least one year and you investment wil be doubled or even multiplied by 2 or 3 times fold? And not only that if you like to start in a small amount of money to invest then it is possible also by joining ICO projects like the BITSCHOOL ICO wherein education is the center of the project aiming for good and quality education. It is indeed a commendable project. And if you wish to know more about the project visit the website with the link posted below:

my advice, tell me a bit about bitcoin and lack of excess of this digital money, and say a little of your income from bitcoin and also buy them something or food so they can taste and know you buy it with bitcoin. With them looking at your income and being able to buy goods or food for them with bitcoin, so they know that bitcoin is not a scam and ponzi.

Do your friends even understand the meaning of a Ponzi? It's an investment program where the early investors are paid interest due to the influx of new investors capital, this becomes unsustainable as there are fewer and fewer new investors. How would this model even fit bitcoin? There are no dividends paid to older investors, and no controlling company. Your friends are idiots.

It will be hard to convince skepticals that Bitcoin is not a scam. They just have to see for themselves. Even for people in the crypto space it's sometimes difficult to believe it's not a scam, if you see and hear about the price increase or decrease caused by pump and dump groups or whales.

Close minded people can never be reasoned with, they just won't listen to a thing you say.
I think the best way to make them understand is by example.
Take them to an exchange center, then cash out some for them to see.
Only by them they'll be open and susceptible to suggestions and knowledge regarding bitcoin.
I tried it once, and it worked

Some people are simply close minded, and there's nothing we can do with that. If I we're you, I'd just explain to them what a "ponzi" really means and how bitcoin isn't a ponzi, because it never promised any returns. Don't waste your time trying to convince people in to an industry that they probably couldn't understand.
Bitcoin is very profitable if we have knowledge on it.Those people that keep on thinking that it is a scam are negative people that was influence by negative sources like social media or fake news on television that has negative information about the existence of cryptocurrency. Most people nowadays will never believe its worth until it is proven but if they were not a part of this community or in this forum by what they hear or read is what they believe.I just think if all people would be resourceful enough to investigate and do some research on it most probably they will come up with doing crypto business like what we already did.

very difficult to change one's opinion, but try to ask the reason they think bitcoin is a scam, I'm sure they have reason to think like that, then you try to explain the reason you believe in bitcoin. If they still can not be given advice, then you have to prove that bitcoin is not a scam by showing everything you get from bitcoin.

Bitcoin is essentially a ponzi scheme, but at the bottom of the ponzi pyramid is a limited investor base, which is the global power system and Internet system. The former is prone to collapse, the latter hardly. So bitcoin is a "smart" design.

It is a pump an dump scheme at the moment.

In fact, you can read here clearly that it could only have value if "enough people thinks the same" (you can see the indoctrination in many BTCubble coin forums) "becomes a self fulfilling prophecy." no more and no less than an agreement by people. So you could really do the same with gold in World of Warcraft.

if a person doesn't have the knowlegde in a certain thing, he will not believe it's true unless he tried it himself. Just like in cryptocurrency or bitcoin in particular. A person would think it's a scam because of lack of knowledge and proper information about bitcoin. I suggest you to give them proofs, or maybe give them any links they can read for them to have at least have the idea about bitcoin. Let them watch in youtube some of the explanations of the persons who is involve in bitcoin. Maybe this way their points of view about bitcoin will change.

Unless you know it or try it yourself, it's not necessarily how you say it to them, and often people have a kind of instinctive exclusion of what they do not understand, think it's bad, and then spread to each other whether Bitcoin is Is a Ponzi scheme, you do not understand, just through the network of articles and news, you are not eligible to say that this is true, only really understand, are eligible to say this.
Ps: Even if you understand that, you can not say bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme because bitcoin is not really.

Friends who have confusions about scam or Ponzi scheme? Why dont you introduce them to join in signature campaign? There's no need to put up capital to generate income. All you have to do is your service, to promote your signature campaign and they will pay you weekly. Sometimes scam is associated with capital without reimbursement. But bitcoin for me is not a scam. Maybe they should educate how cryptocurrency work. Just to enlighten their mind that this thing is a serious job:)

Bitcoin is not a scam or ponzi but a website like cloud mining and the bad people are one of the scammers. You can tell everything you know and you can show your earnings and funds on your bitcoin wallet give them an example how to cash-out your bitcoin from your btc wallet, so they believe that bitcoin is not a scam in that way  I'm sure they will become interested in bitcoin currency after you show how you make money. but if they do not really want to believe on it, there's nothing you can do about it. you just have to think that you're getting money while they're still thinking that the bitcoin currency is scams or ponzi.

It is quite likely your friends are a lost cause, if after seeing you and your real evidence that bitcoin is not a scam is not really enough for them then nothing will convince them they will only realize their mistake when in the future they receive bitcoin as payment for their services or when they see that bitcoin is the preferred method of payment, some people will not believe a revolution is happening until it hits them in the face.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
Pity them as they lose their opportunities to change their lives using bitcoin, blockchain technology and other cryptocurrency. Don't make them believe if at the first place they made you so small, don't make them believe, instead make them amaze of your results and hardworks from bitcoin. This what made me so interesting about bitcoin, when i witnessed my friend succeeding.

When people don't know about bitcoin, it's easy to see bitcoin as a scam. When we tried to explain to them, they were still reluctant to believe in bitcoin, and there was nothing we could do about it. It was their loss.

What are you fighting for?
You do not need to teach your friends to closed minded about bitcoins. The better you do is try to earn more money on bitcoins so they can see your growth due to Bitcoins.

That's the best way to see that bitcoins do not scam

i agree almost with every word you've written. but sometimes even the example doesn't work)) this happened to me and my friend, so i decided to let it go. it seems like sometimes people don't want to change their opinion in something, to stubborn i guess. so it's better to try to earn money just to show yourself that you are able to do it)) just to prove it to yourself))

:D :D :D that's a very foolish thinking. if your friend still do not believe in Bitcoin and think that Bitcoin is scam then just show your earning proof of Bitcoin. after that if your friend still do not believe then just leave them from making believe them.

I can understand your concern but I believe that encouraging someone directly or indirectly to get involved with Bitcoin is not a wise idea. We should explain them this technology, demonstrate the actual transaction and discuss the infinite possibilities of growth to deal with such misunderstanding. I am sure that in next 5 years, most of them will be with us.

For you to convince your friends about bitcoin it is better to share your knowledge to them. Let them know that bitcoin is legit by giving them a proof. Tell them your experiences that can help you to convince your friends. Show them some changes from yourself that came because of bitcoin. If they still do not believe it is their lost not yours.

why not share to them all your knowledge about what bitcoin really is? then, let them decide which they're gonna believe in after the cards are laid up on the table. people are gonna believe what they think is more realistic for them. you msy do your part of helping them realize it but it is still up to them if they'll believe it or not.

just dont push on them your belief.

Yes, my friends are still some people think that the currency is a scam and even when I explain to them for a long time, they still insist on your opinion, I can't persuade them to change their ideas, I tried my best. In the future, they will regret the rejection of bitcoin.

Well you cannot convince them to believe in bitcoin right away if they believe that bitcoin scam well there's nothing you can do as long as you know bitcoin, But if they see that you can actually make earnings and you have the proof I think their mind will change.

The most important part on how you can change their idea is to make them believe and convinced that bitcoins was not a scam and instead it is a specific person discretion to engage in illegal activities. This should be backed up with a good proof to make them think twice about what idea or impression they have with regards to bitcoin. As you disclose some proof to them pay attention to the tone of your voice and as much as possible keep calm and on lower voice but powerful enough to deliver the message so to avoid some unwanted conflict and possible more disinterest.

In the event that you need to at any rate alter their opinion about BTC or other cryptocurrency. My recommendation would be endeavor to discover their advantage and make it well known or known to you by utilizing BTC or other cryptocurrency. Attempt to inspire them with what you have with the assistance of BTC and they don't have.

Try asking them why do they think that Bitcoin is a scam or Ponzi scheme. They should be able to explain you why they think that way. I don't understand why so many people are afraid of Bitcoin. Is it because of banks propaganda? I'm quite curious what they would say.

I feel you man, there are a lot of people like that, they think of Bitcoin just as a scam and ponzi, I can't blame them, most of the news about cryptos and Bitcoins are about those scams and bad thing about it, so that's the image that the banks, media would want people to have when it comes to Bitcoin so it is going to be difficult to just encourage or convince anyone. What I would suggest is that don't really go to them and teach them, their minds are close so don't bother, what you can do it to show them the things that you have because of Bitcoin, show them that slowly you are breaking to the paycheck to paycheck lifestyle, more time to do things you only wish to do before, things like that, I am sure they will be the ones to chase you and ask, from there, go ahead and share your success story, the real story coming from a person who experienced it first hand. :)

If they are educated, show them the growth rate on coinmarket, how Bitcoin has  increase over the years, school them to know that Bitcoin is a digital currency, just the way you cannot touch your IPO shares physicaly but through the certificate, same way Bitcoin exist in your wallet, much more important is to convince them through your earning from Bitcoin.

How to understand the Ponzi scheme? First of all, there is a center where all transactions and values are centered around this center, and after participating, the center will promise to give you a return, but Bitcoin does not, nor does the blockchain, which is entirely a This type of investment behavior can be used to compare him with stocks.

When your friends still thinking that bitcoin is a big fraud or big scam, then probably, your friends are not believers, they don't have enough knowledge about it, they don't really understand how bitcoin works and what really bitcoin is. Just ignore them everytime they tease you about it, and said, "one day you'll gonna regret it that you ignored what I've shared and said, you've lost your chance to be a millionaire like me" hahaha. Then continue what you're doing right now. Just keep on believing.

If I were you, I won't tell them that much about bitcoin. Let them think what they are thinking, we need quality bitcoin user and not just another money seeking individual.

If you want them to think that bitcoin is not a scam then show them some examples (mostly positive things that happens to you because of bitcoin) then probably with that way they might change their minds.

You don't need to prove them bitcoin is not a scam or even ponzi. When the day is passing by, they will realize it is too late to invest in bitcoin because it is already in mass adoption. The percentage of getting profit in bitcoin is too low. So in short, just tell to them, you will regret soon... :)

First of all, you can't please anyone about bitcoin. If their mindset is bitcoin is a scam, there's nothing you can do about it. At least, for yourself you know that bitcoin is not really a scam. Just let it be, and let them think what they want to think, and do what they want to do. Just do not mind them, mind your own business, because you know what is right.

Get some new friends.  ;D

Jokes aside, if they think like that there isn't much you can do to change their mind. At least there isn't a short & easy way. You gotta take their attention with some quick words and keep their attention at you for some time. Start by failed ICOs, if you start talking with them pretending to be on their side you'll get their attention much easier. After that talk about bitcoin millionares over a day and tell them about the million dollar pizza. Recently I got the idea about those cryptocurrencies like this is Californian Gold Rush. And failed ICOs are the Fools Gold. Keep the topic intrguing and don't stop talking until they understand the goods and bads of the crypto market.

Yeah it is really our responsibility to tell about the reality and about the nature of bitcoin to everyone we know. We have to explain all the benefits of bitcoin to our friends and relatives to show them about the bright future of bitcoin. It will not only benefit these people in bringing them to the crypto and to give them the opportunity to earn a bigger profit in the future but it will also benefit us as with that the community of bitcoin will increase much more and if the community will increase then the use and price of it will increase much more.

Don't pressure yourself that its like your responsibility to tell them that bitcoin isn't a ponzi. Respect their belief and let them focus on what they have to do. Focus on yourself and investment with bitcoin, when bitcoin's popularity will rise and its value starts to rise too they are the one that will go close to you and will ask that again. Don't force yourself and take them on your shoulders, let them be what they want to be and what they believe.

So you are asking for suggestions on how to CONVINCE your friends in a mellow way, right? I suggest you don't. It is enough for them to know or have an idea about Bitcoin for start. Yes they are your friends and you also want them to engage in Bitcoin as you have. But convincing them is not your responsibility. Let them come to their senses in their own time. Just work on your Bitcoin journey and once you have succeeded, let that do the talking for you.

I think it's quite normal. When you tell them that something they've never known before can make a lot of money, it's easy to think of it as a scam. I can fully appreciate their thoughts.

Then let them think so. It doesn't matters what they think. Once they realize that they are the only ones left who aren't invested in the cryptocurrency market and are being left out of the crypto riches will they realize their mistake. There is no solution for someones ignorance.
Well, I believe that we have lots of friends who believes and thinks that bitcoin is a great scam, although you were trying your best for them to see what bitcoin has brought to your life they will still negative, I just let them.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
They (your friends) are less studied in on Bitcoin. They are less deep into research on Bitcoin. And the severity of the layman like them just takes the point of talking to people who do not understand the bitcoin system, Bitcoin technology, and how to get Bitcoin.

There s nothing you can do to make them "change their mind".
They should understand that btc is just a tool.
It is us people who decide how to use this tool. (aka speculation) ;)

Suggest you to make your friends understand this.
Many of them don't know how block chain work they think all coin published in one day like Tokens and anyone can do fraud.

Do you have enough education about how bitcoin and blockchain work ? If yes told them, explain all of that to them, if they still dont believe that bitcoin is currency of the future just let it like that, at least you allready told them. And in the future when you allready succes and drive a lambo you ome again to them and tell this is what bitcoin can do to your life
Those people who are educated and who realise the importance and significance of bitcoin, they never consider bitcoin as a scam and punzi.

If that's what your friends think we cannot do anything about it. Just respect them and they're opinion. And if you really like to convinced them just say what's the best thing about btc and it's uses. If that's not make them change their view about it then let it be. It's not your lose after all.

They thought it wrong, some of them just overheard bitcoins existence is from a scam, they doubted the wrong information that they heard due to lack of knowledge.
Tell them more positive things, about cryptocurrency first thing is its decentralization,we can use bitcoin freely. It brought success to most of its holders and investors by uplifting their lives for a better one.It has a high value in the market because it exemplifies for a great success due to the benefits it brought to each one of us.People will say anything if they don't easily recognize what they are talking about and give their conclusion afterwards, this needs to be corrected because they might be the source of FUDS that will spread out that cause panic to investors.

First, Bitcoin's age is almost a decade, smart people should understand that Ponzi won’t last as long and as successful as Bitcoin. Secondly, you have no obligation to convince them that Bitcoin isn’t a Ponzi or a scam. Thirdly, don’t start talking about this in the future, because there’s no use talk about this, unless you have ICO and want to invite them to join in it, but it seems it’s futile. Fourth, don’t mind anyone else's thinking about Bitcoin, because they only take it trivial and don’t know what the truth is. Fifth, HODL.

your friends are either idiots or have ONLY been reading some FUD about bitcoin from one source and never even bothered googling what bitcoin is.
yup, maybe because they chose the wrong source of news, most of the media just highlight the surface of the news just to get visitors or readers, it should be able to dig further, but it’s back to the readers who should be s351marter and don’t take it trivial or closed their mind towards anything.

After many media reports, people who are not familiar with the industry will have wrong judgement. You can tell your friends about the history of bitcoin, and tell them about the development of other altcoin, and you can tell eth which big companies are working with ripple. Of course, you can also show your friends your trading account. If your account has made a lot of money, I think this is very convincing.

Your friend has less knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. This is caused, most likely, by the lack of knowledge of Bitcoin. They just have few and negative wrong ideas about Bitcoin, thats why they think its Ponzi and scam. They will change their minds if they get the full details and the right info about this coin, and if they see real examples of people getting stable incomes from working only with this currency online.

Honestly, that opinion is probably going to find itself crumbling down sooner or later with even more people. I get that there are many just unwilling to listen that bitcoin is robustly decentralized in a way that its impossible for its structure to be a "scam". The argument that it's a ponzi doesn't make any sense. Try and argue that it has no value all day and you might be right but the fact remains that it's a very robust system for electronic cash.

To be honest, I don't really care if my friends think bitcoin is a scam or a ponzi scheme. It is their loss not mine. As long as I am happy, I am making profit and I know the truth about cryptocurrency, then I couldn't care less what they think. Treat their words as a source of FUD's. Plus, if they really are interested, you would not need to explain yourself or what bitcoin is. It's not like it is some kind of referral that we need to explain, engage and interact, just to earn and attract potential users/investors.

BTC is a boon for the humanity and it is very innovative concept but the bad thing is that not everyone can understand this potential of BTC and they do not find BTC to be that much trust worthy because of government also who declared BTC as a scam and said they are not responsible for any kind of losses regarding BTC and because of which people are hesitating in investing into BTC, a proper education should be introduced in school curriculum only, so that people could learn about BTC at very small age.

I think it's hard to explain, especially if your friend is stubborn. For a while leave your friend, let him be in his own mind. Your friend thinks bitcoin scam because he sees an unstable bitcoin and he's too scared to have bitcoin. You better focus in bitcoin, and when you have succeeded then show the benefits you get from bitcoin to your friends, your friends will surely realize that his opinion is wrong and will follow you.

So, I would like you to give me some suggestions, how I can give them some hints with soft words which can change their mind or at least give them some more space to think twice?
it may be a bit difficult to explain that bitcoin is not a scam or a fraud we have to explain with tangible evidence with the result of the bitcoin beliefs and beliefs that make people think positively with bitcoin

Before you can apply bitcoin technology to a project, you can think so. Indeed, most of the projects are deception. Maybe a few years later, 90% of the projects will not exist. However, we must admit that the technology of block chain is indeed worth looking forward to in the future.

No one is to blame, well I think that the recent crash can be taken as a prove that bitcoin is not a scam and not a ponzi. If it was, it would have collapsed. No system that is designed to remove money from many and give it to just a few would be able to survive a downfall like we have seen. I think that the recent crash proves that bitcoin can be seen like a company. The shares can go up and down, but behind it stands a decent economical construct

They should feel sorry for themeselves for missing something huge. I think no words can soft their heart to believe in bitcoin if they believed it as scam. Just show them how it works and the profit you've earned that's it.

Bitcoin is not a company, so if someone talk and share to you about in Bitcoin then ask you a demand that you need to invest some of your money, you are surely entering a ponzi scheme, but if someone didn't ask you any of investment but willing to teach you on bitcoin that is probably not a ponzi scheme.

If I were you, I will tell them that bitcoin is not a scam and Ponzi. Tell them that it is a fake news made by some people who want to bring down bitcoin. To change their mind, you must tell them that bitcoin can change their life by earning money in a safe and easy way. Tell them also that bitcoin can make them rich.

Haaaa. Bitcoin is not ponzi. Bitcoin is one of crypto currency- a type of "really money", anoymous, convenient but anyone have find a transaction in blockchain. I think your friend tell about "pozi program", There are many "ponzi program" in the past. They creat a crypto and marketing to many people know this project and invest in this with a high interest. All of ponzi site like: Biconnect, Ifan, Pincoin, carismo...offer a hight interest, 30-4%/month, and tell many good thing about our project and we belive in it and invest in it. And it is ricsk. Many people lost all of money that they have

Bitcoin is being overlooked by those people who does not understand a thing about it. Tell them that bitcoin is for the future of money and someday, it will be widely adapted and utilized by most corporations and the majority of the people around the world. It is better to have it and do not need it rather than need it but you don't have it.

Yes! Why not? First think do you believe in Bitcoin and has it a great future? Than you will able to give the best advice. If you are new than don’t give him advice otherwise it will be too risky for you. First off it’s a volatile market and no one know what will happen in future. In this situation the expert users know this currency very well and believe it. So you can tell your friends to gather knowledge. Than tell him invest on it. Only depend on low price if he invest it they fall down a big trap because of lack knowledge. Or you can tell him that after invest he must learn about this currency otherwise you must lose your money.

Yea you are totally correct. I have some friends like this too, but some changed when they saw results, some other didn't. I think its best to leave the ‘unbelievers’ alone else you will be blamed when they loose a penny. Let results speak

Refer your friend in no investing but we can earn like in gambling and in faucets all we need in that is to play then we can even just a little after that teach them how trading here works for earn also so they will learn a lot of coins there then if they already knowledgeable about crypto then they can use that to do constructive post after that if they rank up in forum they can earn by that if they have already or joined already in campaign here

If you are earning in bitcoin you can used it as a proof of evidence that bitcoin is not a ponzi thing. or don't mind them because it is their lose not your if they are not want bitcoin.

This world is made up of all kinds of people and there are people who just do not want to take steps towards success. They see every good opportunity as wrong and find some wrongs in it. I would advice that you do your best to explain to them the world we are in now and let them know how easy things have become. Probably they just need some education.

Skeptics will always be skeptics. The thing is, if you are having a hard time trying to convince them of the BTC, then show them how much it is worth, and that it can be legally sold for a high price. If something is a scam or a ponzi, then why does it have value, it is as simple as that.
those people who are thinking that bitcoin is a scam those who doesnt even know what bitcoin is and what bitcoin can really give to them so i think people are saying that bitcoin is scam because they really dont have the idea and the knowledge about bitcoin and people are afraid to loose money thats why they think its scam.

There are many people who are not yet open minded for bitcoin. It may also be because of the bad news that bitcoin scam here in our country the scam headlines are bitcoin but the company is scam. One of the news breaks bitcoin for beginner players in bitcoin.

I also had a lot of friends who were told about bitcoin but they neglected thinking that it was crazy I did not seem to be listening to me so I told myself I would prove what bitcoin was. After a few years ago, my friends have noticed that my state is getting stronger compared to them as they have seen me with a house and lot and home appliances. Many come to me friends. So if they do not believe you can prove to yourself what bitcoin is.

I experience the same thing. There are a lot of people taking advantage of bitcoin's popularity. In our country, they created a NETWORKING investment where they recruit people to join and promised a huge amount for their invested money. This scam uses bitcon as their product and created a stigma of bitcoin as a scam. I always defend bitcoin whenever I got an opportunity to talk to the person I know. In that way, I can return the favor. Btc helped me in so many ways. Its not a scam and it will never be.

Today we are all free to express our opinion. It is really not our responsibility make them trust on bitcoin. As bitcoin lover, it is more important focus our time and effort to earn money as much as possible from bitcoin. Later on we can explain and show them that we have received and enjoyed this business or these activities relating to bitcoin. Tell and show them that we have a better economic or financial condition through bitcoin. This reality may help them trust on bitcoin and may be they want to learn and know more about bitcoin.

To explain to people who do not believe Bitcoin is not a scam and Ponzi is a challenge in itself.
I suggest you can give a real proof, not just a conversation, for example, you show activity in front of PC / Laptop about Bitcoin is not Scam and Ponzi.
It's better to do than explain it to him.
