The Ministry of Finance of Germany signed the Decree on recognition of bitcoin  legal tender.  The document specifies that purchases made for cryptocoins, are not taxed!What do you think about it?

It's a great step for bitcoin, it encourages the use of bitcoin as a payment option as people will not be taxed on that whereas they would be taxed if they converted their bitcoin in to euros.

I believe that the Germans are very satisfied with this decision, especially the investors that are making trades and transactions to the FIAT. Most of the investors from the other countries are looking for the backdoor transaction that can free them from the tax system which is inevitable in the end. There are even ATMs which are anonymous but the transaction fee is high. Each country has their own tax system which is higher or lower.

Its a great way to legalize bitcoin in their country. Really great for bitcoin, specially if we consider that Germany pays a very important role in the decisions made by the European Union, so if Germany made that decision, I'm sure many other will follow, so Bitcoin will probably have the doors open in Europe in terms of regulation. If we actually look at it, top world countries are accepting bitcoin well (Japan, Switzerland, now Germany), so things are going well. The United States are decent, but still have a long way to go, and need to change the way they are trying to tax BTC.

Germany seems to have a favorable view of cryptocurrency. My understanding is that in Germany, if you buy something with Bitcoins, you don’t pay taxes on that sell of Bitcoins. In the US, any transaction with Bitcoins is treated like a sell of an asset and is taxable.

An excellent step. This shows another currency in this world is standing with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but I still doubt if they are openly accepting it as legal tender. Legal tender is a very heavy word to use. Legal tender means govt. takes responsibility of every satoshi that their citizen hold so its hard to say if they are pretty much with making it a legal tender.

You spend the money, this boosts economy. The money you spend goes to somebody else, who in turn spends it, etc. If you spend it in Germany (or maybe the EU as a whole, not sure about this), there is VAT the state collects for every sale (around 20%, I think but it varies from country to country). It never claimed that it is a legal tender, it just said that it is a currency.
The different between declaring that it is a currency to declare that it is an asset is that selling and buying assets require you to tax just like you sold your house in a profit or something like that.
When a country declares that bitcoin is a currency it doesn't mean that bitcoin is legal tender.
Legal tender means that all the shops in that country will be required to accept bitcoin, as well the ministries of this country.
 

germany is an advanced country, thats true... but when it comes to the internet (connection) or the digitalisation itself..........germany is years behind others (especially compared to the scandinavian countries in europe) ....
many people in germany  suffer from bad internet connections.....and we are in the year 2018....... even in some bigger german cities the internet connection is only 1mb (or less) ...........

This happened over a year ago and Bitcoin isn't quite legal tender in Germany. Instead it's a unit of account, which means it's legal for tax and trading. Legal tender means that it has to be accepted as payment for debts, and Bitcoin doesn't have that status in Germany for obvious reasons - it'd be a bit unwieldy to enforce.

I would really think that the government of Germany is very good as they truly thinking of their citizen welfare. If Germany has recognized the currency as bitcoin, then other EU countries should also do it.
In practice, this means that the civilized world in the near future is moving to a crypto-currency financial system.

I doubt that other EU members should follow suit as well, although that's what we really wanted. Remember back in G20 summit in Buenos Aires, EU members are talking about putting regulations on it and even Germany and France was pushing for a single regulatory body back then.

but the fact is this news can't make the price going to the moon. the price just a little increase and then go down again and again. a lot of people hope bitcoin to back in the highest value but I think it can't make the price go up. the thing that we can;t do for now is keep hold our bitcoin and if we have extra money we can use it to buy bitcoin, it will help bitcoin to increase again and may be in the end of year we can see bitcoin price back to 20k again.
