We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

I hope they can consider cryptocurrencies too.
I like playing games on my phone, i like to buy things on my game like weapons or crystals but i don't have an account.
i have a postpaid but my service is not letting me purchase over the internet, i don't have PayPal or credit card.

but if i can use my bitcoin I'm sure it's a good thing to maximize the strength of my character in the game.

If bitcoin can be more stable in volatility then it might open up for being used for casual payment method, but since the volatility of the instrument that makes bitcoin more like an asset than currency nowadays. For example of this, if i can buy 10 games with 0,5 btc today, then it also possible in a few days later i could buy much more or much less game with that sums of btc. The high volatility in short timefame  that make people cautious about using bitcoin as future payment. I think there are lots of other altcoins that make project about using coin to purchase ingame item and collaborate with them but i dont think its possible to collaborate with bigger scale corporation such as Apple or Google yet.

I think it would be great if the payment method in appstore and playstore uses crypto, because many people want to buy items in a game / buy game but do not have creditcard access but have some crypto, and of course it will simplify transactions for those who want to buy games or something else

Even before the idea of using cryptocurrencies as a payment option in Google's playstore and Apple's appstore reaches the tables, both these giants would be quick to rule out the possibility because of two key problems, volatility and instability in price.
Of course this could a good addition from the store user's perspective but the big players mentioned above would never take up the risk of dealing with continuous price fluctuations and other issues that come along.

this is long overdue. they should have already started using bitcoin as payment in their platforms and i think part of this is because the companies behind them (Apple and Google, and the rest of them that are similar) are located in US. of they were some place else for example in Japan they would have already done it and we were paying with bitcoin easily.

I don't think that unstable price is the actual problem here. It shouldn't be much of a hassle for such big IT players to prepare means for it.
Its not like they would have to hand-adjust all the prices to the current market trend, right? Few lines of code and they are done with this prob.
Also a lot more inviting promotions could be made, with the usage of price fluctuations.
There must be something else preventing them from full scale adoption. I think it may be all about taxation and all its problems.

 

I also think that BTC can be a means of payment in appstore. But it is upon the owner of the appstore if he/she is willing to make the bitcoin part of the appstore.
It is also good if the games token or gems can be bought by bitcoins. I am planning also to buy gems using my bitcoins.

It would be awesome if playstore and appstore are accepting cryptocurrency. It allows more gamer to purchase digital games and in-app purchase without owning a credit card.

Price variations are too important right now to really be usable as a currency. Moreover, prices are often small (micro payments) and thus fees aren't to be neglected. I hope bitcoin will be used in the future with playstore or online stores, but right now bitcoin isn't ready yet.

Yes this would definitely be very useful! Its a much preferred option for BTC owners rather than using gift cards and debit/credit card for purchases.

I guess its a good idea but i think only for those gamers who addicted in different games on their gadgets. And it might not be favorable to those gamers does not using bitcoin or working to get bitcoin.

I am not a gamers, and I will not waste my money on things that are not important, like playing games.

Every time is the best time. The only problem is that bitcoin is not just as easy as we say it is in terms of it being a currency. Let's face it it's hard for other people to even understand how bitcoin work for them to trust it. If we can somehow show them that bitcoin is easy to use and is safe (as for now still prone to hack) this kind of things will be easy and will be natural.

Yes anytime they can open a payment using bitcoin but the problem is bitcoin is not stable so there is a tendency that they will incur some loss because of the volatility of bitcoin. If the users know that bitcoin's price is high, they will not buy it and they only will when the price gets low. Instead of using bitcoin, maybe they need to use their own coin to buy some things in the store.

Taking into account the growth rate of popularity of cryptocurrencies, I think such opportunity will appear already in the nearest future. Nobody cancelled the lost profit.

if its true they need cryptocurrency technology for their sales, I think they will need cryptocurrency with high transaction speed and have features that can be collaborated with their system. But it is likely that they will create their own cryptocurrency. so the app price that appears at one time on your smartphone is not the price in dollars but in the rate of cryptocurrency they use.

It would be great if appstore or playstore will be accepting cryptocurrency other than credit card.
Since also there's having a great number of bitcoiners today and to the future.

I think it could be in the future the application makers provide payment via bitcoin. It will make a different choice. But all need a process, which takes time gradually. I hope if cryptocurrency continues like this until the next few years will definitely start to be considered about the payment of applications via bitcoin.

I agree with this I'm so addicted in downloading games and any other useful apps in playstore but some requires a payment that it is needed to pay through credit cards which is I don't have right now. I am hoping they will consider to open an opportunity to crypto users to pay in btc or any other cryptocurrencies. I guess it would be very helpful too for them since they can get more customers by utilizing crypto as an alternate mode of payment in order to download their apps and it is like some sort of promotion too since crypto is gaining more popularity each day.

This will happen in the near future, because many people are now starting on cryptocurrency and get addicted in trading and mining and some of them are focusing now on how to get income with crypto.
If playstore/appstore and games will accept payment with crypto currency it will benefit them for a long time because many of their users/players in cryptoworld can now afford to pay for them.

We are using credit or debit card as payment, im think its possible to use cryptocurrency as a payment, what do you think?

It would be nice if these apps allow bitcoin payments but the transfer needs to be instant for this.

If those software stores can switch on to digital currencies payment it will go a long way to increase they market sale and also lessening the stress customers go through to pay for they software's. Bitcoin especially will help them as a payment method.

Its really a good idea and would even bring more awareness to the crypto industry but there are two issues that of concern in this

1. A lot of those applications are open source i.e what can be downloaded for free especially on PlayStore which if monetized, a lot of people wont be interested in whatever is being said to achieve and also for every app that is being paid for, there is a free version of it only difference is the ads part which could be annoying.
2. PlayStore and AppStore are both platforms that is being managed by companies Google and Apple. What is the attitude of these two companies to bitcoin as a currency. To the best of my knowledge, if they are not overtly critical of bitcoin, they are also not making their statement as an outright support for bitcoin which makes it difficult but the moment these companies accept, all their platforms will be activated to accept crypto.

Wow, nice idea! I think that it is possible to have the bitcoin payment method in AppStore and PlayStore. But I think that they should start in AppStore, since the users are more likely to but the apps instead of PlayStore wherein you can get the apps from 3rd party applications.

Instead of accepting bitcoin or another crypto they would create their own coin, and i think apple already has apple pay so this is not necessary. I heard rumors that Google will collaborate with bitcoin especially as payment method but until now it has not been realized.
Let see maybe in many years later this could be happen.

Appcoins proposed a solution through aptoide. I think they got a very interesting and promising market, the apps market could really use all the benefits that the blockchain provides, not trying to shill you anything but appc are adressing this matter directly

I never heard the news if the appstore or playstore received bitcoin or other crypto currency for their app payments

Well this depends on the company owners to implement the payment method or not. Playstore is owned by google and hence google will require to implement the payment mode on playstore so that users could get cryptocurrencies as a payment. Similarly Appstore is owned by Apple, hence Apple will require to implement the crypto payment mode too. Although there are in app purchases which can be used for crypto payment mode through which users could get cryptocurrencies but then the app should be designed in a way to accept crypto payments.

Google and Apple have their own payment systems. Apple Pay Cash service is just one reason why they will not allow

Bitcoin on there, will be for us to create games that use Bitcoin as a in-game currency.  ;)  The Lightning Network will make

Do you mean applications related to crypto-currencies? Yes, now there are many projects that will be implemented in the future, related to mobile applications. This is convenient, and each application has its own advantages.

i've ever bought a game currency with bitcoin (one of web based game), but if you convert it to dollars, the price is much higher than you pay it with dollars, i don't know why, i think because of the fees

It’s only a matter of time. It just doesn’t make sense if we still have to buy bitcoin wallets using credit cards in the App Store or Play Store in the Age of Cryptocurrency.

But who will be the one who can take that kind of risk. This is google play is on the line and I dont think it will be wise for them to make it as a means of payment for now, the USD will still be the first option.

With games being created, it would be lovely to see if there will be one MMO that will take it to the next level of gaming using crypto as a means of payment or could also be the main currency in game.  ;D

A very good point! Yes, I do believe that cryptocurrency payment on these platforms should be included. This is not just beneficial to us the consumers but will be also very beneficial to them.
Changes will be a lot but it will be a very good investment to them. App developers will also benefit from these updates.

I do not who is gonna accept the bitcoin as a payment first. When we check the more involvement about the Google and Apple. Google recently opened the tezpay and other payment widget options buddy.
If we need to get the bitcoin accepted that concern software has to take the decision that they are accepting crypto payment. If Google alone accepts it how they can give the payment the software authentic seller.

Yes, it can be done to encourage bitcoins. Smartphone is now everybody's need and need apps now and then. So, it should be good to add bitcoin as a mode of payment.

They should start this already. I know they are not letting themselves late when it turns to be profitable for them or they just have an attitude or pride that they really don't like bitcoin or they don't have any plan of adding it to their payment method.

That could be best opportunity really but the question is why they should accept the cryptocurrency if they are already doing great with the normal modes of the payment. I mean why to create the chaos if the system is working just fine with the usual ways of payment processors.

I know crypto currencies are techy and futuristic but that doesn't mean they should be implemented all the way into play store and App Store. It will need to be taken by the Google in serious mode and as well as apple company. Then only it could be implemented in them.

Steam, the famous games platform was accepting Bitcoin as a form of payments, sadly they remove it due to the late of 2017 network congestion. Personally, I hope Steam developers reconsider to make Bitcoin payments available yet again.
Sadly the famous store for mobile phone didn't accept any cryptocurrency payments. But there is altcoins called GAME. Basically, its an app store for a mobile phone but accepts cryptocurrency.

This is gonna be so hard to manage especially that other cryptocurrency got minimum payout but if that happens bitcoin will again gain popularity and have a free endorsement advertising cryptocurrency all over the world

Everybody removed it late on in the year, even Microsoft and their products are a lot more in general. Yes GAME is good and MGO (MobileGo) is on the come up, if they can provide some good games then they stand to take a good market share from the top players in the space.

They do not see the bigger picture. Accepting crypto currencies or at least only Bitcoin as payment would give a boost to sales, developers and companies who create apps. Many apps are not bought because people do not like to spend money from their credit cards, with bitcoin is different, if they find a good app or a good game for Ipad or Tablets I think bitcoin users do not think as much as a credit card user when buying something online.

The problem is the volatility in price only now , because before we had high transaction fees which forced Steam to remove Bitcoin as a payment system. Now the problem of the fees is fixed with segwit but volatility in price I don't think it will ever be solved.

Certainly a great thought but we need to understand that the range of cryptocurrency.Range here mean that the numbers of countries accepting crypto transaction.See appstore or playstore both take there payments either in dollars or in local currency because it is accepted every where but it is not the case with cryptocurrency.These giants won't risk there stakes in just for the sake of modernizing.

I think it will be best if Play store and other app stores use bitcoin for the payment of new apps. Nowadays people use credit or debit card for the play store and other app stores. That would be nice, but I don't see Apple nor Google implementing cryptocurrencies in their payment system. These companies are owned by elites that only give about money and cryptocurrencies don't go along with datamining and paying useless fees. The old Google with their slogan "Don't be evil" would definitely implement this feature but the current Google really won't.

that's a brilliant idea , this is a shout out to all those among us with the knowledge to create cell phone apps to do so and accept a crypto currency as payment for download . bitcoins once again can be a great source of employment and income all we have to do is think out the box and watch the cash roll in .

Its being said again and again because of the volatility bitcoin possess and since then steam didn't want to risk their marketplace from the beginning. If bitcoin can be more stable then there is a reason for government to accept it for future payment but since it high risk movement there is no guarantee about how bitcoin can stay stable for a period of time.

I think the best thing is that we don't need to have records for buying these software. If we use a bank card to purchase, we will have records on it. We can find all our records, but using cryptocurrencies is not the same, because we do not know This address is yours, you can buy it without fear of being aware of what you purchased and how to use it.

I think this is one great way to use the Bitcoin as mode of payment. Buying apps and games thru cyrpto currency is quite faster and easier to transact. Actually I already ask our wallet provider a year ago if they have a plan to do it because of the opportunity cost that it presents since their system has a fee and will wait for a several hours to transact.

I can defently seee google and aaple starting to accept bitcoin as a payment method to pay for differnet appps and games on their platform, steam already started accepting bitcoin a long time ago for games on pc, and right now with the transaction's fee gowing down it will be only a matter of time before we see more and more investments being pushed into the bitcoin market.

I do not think Google or Apple accepts this at the moment. They all are waiting this thing spreads around the world and get stabilize. They are solid companies and waiting this system becomes solid as rock.

The fact is most corporations are not organized in such a way to handle cryptocurrency payments. For example, how do returns and refunds work when paying with BTC? Somebody is going to lose the transaction fee as that cannot be reversed unlike Paypal and VISA fees. Pretty sure US regulations mean that the buyer is entitled to a FULL refund, that would mean the merchant will lose out. Plus accounting for crypto payments is likely to be a nightmare on a large scale until their systems have been updated, which could be problematic for a large corporation.

It will be better to add a cryptocurrencies payment method in the play store or app store, so then we can pay easily and directly using our wallets. I think there is a lot of people didn't have credit cards yet, so the best thing is to add this feature for people who use crypto, Also it will be more safe, In addition, it will be a quick operation, just one or two clicks Instead of writing credit card details.

Games and other applicaton is always there, every person uses android phone is downloading for sure. And most of the time it always requires to payments. It would be great if Cryptocurrency will be connected to any apps store, they will earn more, becuase a lot of people now who uses Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. if we talk about cryptocurrency and it related to playstore, i play what is want to play or if in appstore download an apps that related too in cryptocurrency, i download it. so if the payment is bitcoin and it has a low price, why not to downlaod. Atleast i have a little pastime.

I think that it is not in their interest to accept prices with btc, as crypto market is very volatile they may make huge profits but as well as huge losses, if I were them I would accept only tether and with higher commission.

These platforms cannot have their income become variable and dependent on Crypto volatility, therefore they would currentlu need to tie prices to a dynamic conversion from FIAT to accepted cryptos, with constant crypto price refreshment.

Apart from the above, tackling TX slowness and TX price variability (try purchasing during a hyped ICO on ETH to see TX price variability) are simply not acceptable from the customer's nor the store's point of view.

Talking about volatility. I think they can use Ethereum instead since ETH is more stable than bitcoin. Using a digital currency for payment in google playstore and appstore is a good idea. But, like what I said, they might hesitate because Bitcoin's price is not stable unlike paying them fiat money using accounts like paypal.
Because this idea isn't easy. Although Bitcoin has a great value, bitcoin still have a weakness when it comes to Volatility.

Exactly, we know cryptocurrencies transactions that it's fast and easy. People naturally wanted to make things easy so probably this is the best step that they should make. Also, more and more businesses are already adopting the technology and they should also try to adopt this technology.

yes this is very good ,, but for some gamers who want to have the detail record of a transaction (purchase / sale), this is would be inconvenient for them because they need to make their own details ..

I think it's time for them to accept bitcoin as another payment processor and i always waiting for it since the fees are back to normal as it should, (it will be lower if you use segwit) but the problem is, google and apple didn't want to risk it because bitcoin is very volatile these days they don't want to lose money because of volatility of bitcoin

Currently, bitcoin is not the crypto currency that can be used to make transactions in the app store. the cost of transactions is too high. This is absolutely impossible now.

Smartphones are an important tool in our life. I'm pretty sure that Google will lead cryptos in its app store, don't forget that weeks ago we read about an interest from Google and others into cryptos. I won't be surprised if they'll announce a new ICO at the next Google IO or maybe next year. Apple will follow.

Thats true. We are spending most of our time in gadgets. And most of the time we are installing some apps in play store and apps store. But some of them requires a payment to install. You need to install it true bank accounts and some kind of payment. It is good to involve crypto in apps and play store because it will become easier to pay. Especially to us, bitcoin users :)

This is a nice idea. The developer of PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE may not be blockchain oriented or a cryptocurrency fan. The best thing for us do is to develop our own blockchain based PLAYSTORE OR APPSTORE.

I also imagine things like that and I personally still do not see or find a payment method with bitcoin for their app like game vouchers etc. But I'm pretty sure, there may already be a method of payment using bitcoin there but still do not have a high enthusiasm so the spread is still hampered.

I also like playing games on the playstore but to make it easier to improve next level I have to pay it, I also think want to pay with bitcoin but not yet available, maybe it will develop in the future

To me its not that appstore and playstore need to accept the cryptocurrency for it to work but the banks should be able to accet bitcoin or the whole of the cryptocurrency for these two application downloader place would be able to incorporate it into how the payment system is. Which to me is a tricky sotuation given that bitcoin or the cryptocurrench is volatile while the payment terms needs that it be constant and precise and that it is for now not suited to these

For some people it will be great if they can buy application with bitcoin , but seems there still no enough people which using bitcoin for daily activity. I would say that when all normal store start accepting bitcoin for paying then probably appstore and playstore will do the same. That will happen when price of bitcoin will be stable without daily drop or rise of 5%.

I think if for most still use Playstore. Besides the android mushrooming, the price is affordable for many people

I think this situation is a scourge of our society. People are wasting their time  and money on new smartphones that are beginning to be worth more than a used car and all they do is strain your eyesight and make you pay even more after a while because they get damaged so easily.
As for the apps, it's certainly a great way to cash out on the addicts.

When it comes to android apps, almost all of them are free and those that aren't have their cheaper counterparts or hacked versions available. I'm using only freeware on my phone and doing just fine. It might be a good market in future, but for now most people don't pay for apps with fiat so I don't see them going for it with Bitcoin.
If we are to follow your prediction, we will never see it happen as Bitcoin will never be that stable.

Oh.. This is My another dream. Cryptocurrency will be accept by more platform like Play store, Apps store, Amazon or Ali Express. I don't know when this dream will come in real. But that would be a great achievement for us if playstore accept bitcoin or other crypto currency .

Well I don't think they are ready to accept cryptocurrency since it is volatile and not stable yet. They wouldn't want to risk their company to an unstable currency because it might endanger their profit .

I feel the same. As a fellow gamer I'll tell you a little secret, you can use Paymaya to use purchases. It will give you a virtual Card that you can use to top up. Don't get your hopes to high because Bitcoin has yet a long way to run before we can enjoy things like that. But yah, A swipe in your bitcoin wallet is more convenient that going into a convenient store to top up.

If such huge markets like PlayMarket and AppStore start accepting crypto it will dramatically increase entire crypto market value.
Even if they release and accept only their own tokens.

I wouldnt say that it would be towards their interest to open payments with btc because of the volatilty of it and the companies may lose lots of money or vice versa if they do it.

Personaly i dont have a mastercard and i would like to buy some things from play store like some aplications +(without ad)...i wish that play store will devlope a methode of payment based on crypto

 I hope it will happen because i want to buy some games in playstore but they need a card to buy application or games but i dont have card. if they accept bitcoin for payment i think it is good for all the buyers of application and games for bitcoin users.

I agree with you. many people play games and they want to buy something to supplement their in-game shortcomings, that's why most of these apps use credit cards, so many people do not use credit cards to buy it, maybe this idea is great if you want to buy something needed in gaming Bitcoin, maybe things like that will make it easier for everyone to buy it.

Yes, It is a perfect time for digital stores to enable crypto as a payment system. However, I don't see any possibility of it from the giant players because the crypto market is highly volatile and since the turnover of these corporations is in billions of dollars, even a small fall in the market can make them lose millions of dollars so they won't take such risk at this stage in my opinion. However, I am sure most of the companies have started doing research on blockchain technology and they are investing heavily in that area.

It would be a brilliant step towards mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, especially for those who don't have a credit / debit card. However, due to price volatility, fees, speeds, etc. implementation would be very tricky.

Its fine because in this way you can have easier transactions in order to purchase ingame items and most of the people will not have a hard time since the price is keep on increasing as the time goes by and the credits will be so much cheaper.

Good idea but if there was a market for this, they would have taken advantage of it. Yes we all play digital games but the overlap between people who play digital games and own Bitcoin is little. Compounding that even further than people who play digital games and would pay Bitcoin for it is next to nobody. That is why you don't see Bitcoin as a payment option because of this exact catch 22. People don't want to spend their Bitcoin and merchants don't want to set up a function that receives zero usage.

damn, its amazing idea bro, if google or apple use this for their payment system, maybe next time when we want to buy something in appstore or google play store will be more easier than now, because right now we still need using Credit Card

I think there's a lot of project now that promote to use their apps in crypto I saw it in playstore there's a lot of them although we cannot already recognize it but some of apps now is using cryptocurrencies as a payment.

Well its not a bad idea for cryptocurrency to be used as payment tool to buy games in playstore or appstore.I think it could contribute to bitcoins additional function and can be able us to used faster and easier transactions.If it become acceptable in different apps to be installed in our phone possibilities would be bitcoin will become widely known in the whole world because almost all of us used gadgets especially cellphones and everyone knows where those apps can be found in Playstore or in Appstore.

Oh, it would be great to have a bitcoin payment option for playstore and appstore. I think It will take a while for that to happen though. A certain level of regulation should be employed in order for both merchant and consumer to feel more secure about the transactions.

I really want payment by Bitcoin functionality on play/app store. Or may be someone just make third party app store and implement this functionality.

I prefer playstore over appstore, using playstore that works on all platforms and is already supported by google making playstore the best choice, lots of smartphone platforms that use playstore.

Nice idea. It i indeed the best time but it still depends on the economic state of a country. If the country has a huge poverty, gamers on that said country will choose to download games which are free and therefore making the method of payment using cryptocurrency futile. Hi there ivanst776! Yes, I agree with that. Those two stores have managed to use local currency of its users. So giving an option to pay using bitcoin is not a hard task for them. But I think the hard part is how to liquidate those earning if the bitcoin price is continuously moving or so volatile. Accounting could have a hard time doing their job due to imbalances. But if there is a company that will go in middle that will accept bitcoin and convert it immediately to cash and pay to apple and google then there could be no problem.

I hope that they would too since lots of their wallet applications are already accepting and converts bitcoin. Those wallets are great but converting bitcoin into fiat could cost you an ammount. And since the bitcoin is only accessible in electronic devices, the playstore and appstore should consider it because lots of money are getting wasted by different wallets in converting. I guess he meant those apps that are already not free (shareware or those that have some paid features for example) or games where you may pay for some special items. So to pay for them now you have to connect your credit card to Google account (don't know about this procedure in AppStore as I use Android). You also have to provide all your personal details inclusing your address. So I don't think they will ever implement bitcoin as it is anonymous and won't correspond to their policy.

I like that idea since I don't have a credit card to pay some products in playstore. If the google could add cryptocurrency as payment method like Tether (since it is almost stable and almost same value as dollar) I would be happy for that and there are some apps that has in-app purchase that make me buy some but I have no means of paying even if I have a money in crypto.

Once cryptocurrency becomes legal on many countries, sure it is one they can innovate when in terms of mode of payment. Certainly, it is really easy and quicker to make transactions using Crypto, I think google and Apple  inc should give it a try. Most people are scared to use their debit cards online because of scammers. Your idea is good but if we are going to pay everything in bitcoin we are wasting our money because bitcoin transaction is expensive. There are some cyptocurrency that will fit for that method like NEO,  xrp or even dogecoin because they don't charge to much when sending the said currency. I think we need only decentralized store for apps

I don't think apple nor google is set to adopt with cryptocurrency payment as of the moment.

In fact, just last June, apple became more strict in requirements against crypto based app publications (more specially with Initial Coin Offering related apps).  I am not telling that these guys are against cryptocurrency but looking at how they dominate the market, i'm guessing that they already have future plans to release their own cryptocurrency just like the news that facebook will be launching their own in the near future.

But for sure, these techgiants will adopt one way or another some time in the future.

Yes I stongly agree to this! Most of the people nowadays don't have credit cards which is the primary mode of payment you can use in the AppStore and PlayStore just to buy a paid apps. So it is better to use bitcoin because you can access it anytime and load your wallet anytime you want in many ways. I hope they consider bitcoin as one of the payment accepted.

In my opinion, it's also good if Appstore and Playstore have apps that can get bitcoin free for example bitcoin mining applications and others. It can also give the bitcoin token depositors a chance to get more bitcoins apart from investing. I think it's also an idea that nice for newbie learning too.

It's really hard to tell. If Google decides whether they would implement it in the near future, then our reputation would soar high. I don't think it's time though specially when everyone thinks about is money, investment, and the situation of the market. But I know someday it would be implemented.

I think its a great idea if people can pay their AppStore or play store apps using bitcoins, specially those people who dont have bank accounts or credit cards like me, im having a hard time purchasing in-app or buying apps.

on this i will like to answer in the affirmative. lately, all Dapps have been created on the Mobile platform and that is a major version of created DApps. i will encourage every playstore that wants to incorporate a payment system into its application should use this time to do so and also do well to patronise DApps that make payment with cryptocurrency.

First of all Google and any other store out there like Play Store or Apple Store is not going to accept any other currency than their own(of course credit card and debit card are exceptional). But there are already a lot of gift cards you can buy from Bitcoin stores. People do sell Google Play gift cards or you can even buy them whenever you want It's not hard and it is super available.

I do not believe it. I think Apple and Google can not offer a service that is not stable and not yet regulated. This would naturally be very good news but it will not be for now. First, Bitcoin needs to stabilize and re-regulate and then use it as a service.

Actually there was a project i participated into that aimed to build an application store that accepts only cryptocurrency as payment but unluckily their ICO did not become successful. I felt sorry for them. I’m not sure if there is the same or similar project out there but the idea is good since not every one has money and not all has cryptocurrency too so there will be choices.

This would be possible soon, if other big industries & establishments already accepts crypto as their payment method then I hope someday google and Apple would consider this also. As far as I know some of the transactions on playstore and appstore are use to be paid via electronic money transferring device or app such as visa and paypal. Many people uses paypal as a way of purchasing on the internet and can be use to transact also bitcoins and other cryptocurrency, it holds amount from crypto as profit.

In my opinion, these stores do not want to accept Bitcoin due to its high volatility. Also it can take at least a hour to make a transaction, because merchants usually wait another 5 blocks added to the blockchain in order to prevent a 51% attack.

On the other hand, volatility of Bitcoin can be a good factor if the current trend of the BTC price movement is positive. In this case these stores can earn extra money fixing difference in prices on the crypto exchange markets.

At some point, it benefits the gamer who are cryptocurrency supporter. If this will be the other method for paying a book or a game, then I prefer to use it. I do not want to have visa card just only to pay the gems in my game. I want cryptocurrency as a payment tool because I want more gems in my game.
