I think blockchain really is the future and we'll see more companies and organizations adopting it in all fields of work. Excited to see what this brings.

I think this is a very cool news, because Google without exaggeration is the most innovative company in the world, I think that their project will be successful in the future.

Now that Google is in the blockchain business, "blockchain" will become an even bigger buzzword. And since blockchains are inherent to most cryptocurrencies, I see this as a good thing for cryptocurrency's public sentiment. IBM has already been throwing around the word "blockchain," but Google is more pervasive in our society and it could have a real strong effect.

Maybe this will add a positive spin to the negative narrative the SEC is pushing. But at the same time, Google is banning crypto ads, so go figure.

Another big and trusted companies are looking ahead to Blockchain, it's really helpful for cryptocurrencies scene. I'm sure those big companies acknowledge the benefits and advantage of blockchain technologies. I'm really glad that will indirectly help how the cryptocurrencies scene in the worlds.

This is cool, IBM is doing this sort of thing also. Sounds like the ultimate product/goal will be some sort of Blockchain as a Service; helping people ramp up their own developments onto block tech in a quick and scalable way. Really interesting.

The IBM computer will also be a really interesting project I think.

Not a lot of companies are jumping on the crypto bandwagon but they're on the blockchain one, which is almost just as good and off to a great start, I think. ;)

Although I dislike mega corporations in general, I am more than happy to see blockchain being mainstreamed.

Also, a lot of coins and platforms should die, and if a legitimate use case for blockchain comes along that goes to market than all the better.
Think about the thousands of coins out there and how many of them do absolutely nothing.
Think of all of those valuable companies that have no actual product.

The crypto world has become a place where people and companies can become rockstar millionares off of pure speculation.
The actual real world demands much more development, use case, and steady profit and so many just fail to deliver.

Also, crypto needs this type of heavy handed competition.
Instead of all these startups competing against each other, there needs to be a huge "goliath" to hedge against.
This will only drive development further and raise quality.

Well I really think this is a competition and google is trying to block other ads about Cryptocurrency or ICO so it can further utilize their own ICO, This can be a big hit to the public because I really think that google is the most influential browser right now and if they will decentralized their platform using blockchain technology it can be a bigger hit with the public, This could innovate more the usefulness of google to its client and can further outsource it services even further.

Lol. Google made a very strange move. First, ban advertising ICO, then open their own blockchain. It seems that they want to become monopolists, which can not but grieve.

No one should be surprised when Google and Alibaba announce that their own respective blockchain platforms would be open to host crypto currencies. At least this is in a way, is positive news for the initial pioneers, early adopters and current community of crytpo world. It seems to me that these are plans for the future. Necessary condition for this is to ensure that the government was not opposed to people used cryptocurrency for direct trade. I knew that Google's decision to ban ads was only the beginning of their own project. Cryptos are a huge opportunity for everybody, only a fool won't consider them.

Yes, I have also heard that news from somewhere. In my opinion, Google is an advanced technology company that will not miss the chance to use Blockchain technology, so I do not feel strange that its join in the Blockchain party.

Both of these giants surely would've done enough prior research to step up to the occasion in an attempt to announce their respective blockchain implementation moves. The former, been known to have the highest power in terms of servers across the world can be expected to work with the highest level of developers to come out with the best of the art blockchain technology and this would serve as benchmarks for the many more IT giants to follow.

This is certainly a problem that I had already foreseen. Very soon, there will be Googlecoin, Facebookcoin, Amazoncoin and so on.

I think this will be very positive for cryptocurrencies in general (even though I think it's funny with all the ad blocking news). I know someone doing work on an ICO and he says Google is directly helping the company manage their advertising efforts on Google.

I would say that is a funny news. once they are going to ban Crypto advertisements, now they are planning to create their own blockchain. if it's true, yes, it will kill some coins because google has the source to increase its own coin and engage many investor to it. but I need more reference to convince myself that it is true. on the other side, it will overthrow their own reputation, because this move will be considered kind of monopoly due to the stretch of their source.

They are industry giants in commerce and their cloud center operations are yet to penetrate western countries or let alone break even Why would they bother with blockchains is beyond me. Blockchains are quite inefficient at scaling and utilizing resources. Google has also beena voiding bitcoin and crypto like the plague. I don't know what bloomberg is on.

Jack Ma once came to my country and he said that blockchain technology should be concerned about because it can bring new life and new hope to the people. I do not think GG will give out their coin because of GG's recent moves against the crypto. Most probably, they do have money for themselves. But doesn't mean some projects will forget how bullshit they are that they disallow ICO ads and yet they themselves have plans to develop something out of blockchain technology.

This can truly benefit a lot of its users and this can also help elevate the cryptocurrency market but this news also has a lot of downside. I think once google will release their own currency, a lot of coins and projects will eventually lose its value and die down.
