I would never do this, well I've done it before, in my early days of trading and I lost money, splitting over a few is much better than holding just 1
I would suggest researching both Neblio and Blockport as potential coins for a portfolio.

If you really are 100% convinced on just one coin, take a stable option like Bitcoin, Ethereum or NEO, growth won't be as large but security will be much better.

That would be Bitcoin without even thinking twice. Never mentioned how long I will be holding it but just plainly asked where I would love to put all my money into. And I think most people would know the answer on why I chose Bitcoin among all the other coins there is and it is the oldest cryptocurrency there is so it is basically the strongest among others and have been proven and tested by how long it has been in the cryptoworld.

I have like 10 different coins in my list of investment, but if I would have to chose just one of them my choice would fall on Etherum, to me this coin is like the most sure one in which growth and worldwide spreading and use I'm sure. The idea of smart contracts is not so much developed, but I believe in few years we will see all the power and blossom of all projects based on this technology.

If so i would go all in on Tron TRX right now. Know there have been a lot FUD but just wait and see. And to all the haters out there we all going to be rich without you.  ;D

If you will put all your money in one coin trust only those coins that already gets many achievements like bitcoin, if you put a big pot of money on bitcoin for a long term investment you will surely get a big profit in the future and its value will never die.

If i had to go all in right now, i would go with either XLM or Lisk, Both has huge potential to become top 5 coins in 2018. Both coin will release their software soon, can't wait.. within next 6 to 8 weeks, price will triple.

I would choose Ethereum, Most of the ICO are ethereum based. Every transfer of coins there are certain amount of ethers are being burned. And I think It will overcome Bitcoin in coinmarketcap

What do you think Bitcoin's utility will be like in the future? Obviously there are more scalable and faster options that are around now, so do you think it'll be basically a "digital gold"? Or maybe it'll be used for large transactions?

Definitely Bitcoin without a doubt. I am holding lots of crypto now but if I can only choose one crypto to invest with, it would be Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been here even before altcoins and ICO become what they are now. Bitcoin has already built its name known everywhere. That is even why up until now, Bitcoin is still the toppest and the toughest amongst all crypto coins. Seeing its price today, I still have high hopes it can go up higher than its highest price in the history.

Ethereum. Its at rock bottom prices currently and there couldn't be a better entry point than the current one. Also this year is going to be of Ethereum with so many good news lined up for the whole year. I expect this coin to rally hard this year.

Well the only coin you can cash in is bitcoin so it would have to be that one ;) However, excluding bitcoin and i think your question should exclude it anyway, i would go for LISK. They have a huge development team and development fund. Based in Berlin makes it attractive to the EU, and as a competitor to Ethereum i think it till do well later this year.

Definitely it would be Stratis! It is by far the most fundamental strong cryptocurrency out there! And moreover it is the most undervalued one! If I would have to put all my money into Stratis I would be relieved as I know this coin is going places soon!  :D

I'll choose NEO because most of the people call it's China Ethereum, But I don't recommend put all of your money into only 1 crypto because it's very dangerous, maybe you'll losses all the money if price going down or dev run away such as bitconnect, I've more than 40 different coins and all of them is my baby , I don't have plan to sell them in short term

I will choose stellar because stellar makes me shine. Stellar is my lucky star. I am always lucky if i invest in stellar. Always get a profit while if i invest in other digital assets, i always get lost and if try to hold it then i have to wait long until the price rise up for resell. Stellar is a dark horse in crypto currency because it has become one of the ten largest digital currencies in market capitalization.

I would put it on Bitcoin of course, there will be no other coin that would be the greatest and most efficient crypto of all.

Better to store in 2 places, 70% in bitcoin and 30% in ethereum. But if you have other options you can put them in another place that suits your heart's content.

I will choose TRON. With the release of the TRON testnet at the end of this month, the price is certainly going to pump. Also the project seems very good for the long term investors.

I will put all my money into Ethereum. Currently ETH ranks second in the cryptocurrency market, just after bitcoin, which shows that ETH is really very potential, besides it has many strengths such as low transaction cost, fast transaction speed , and especially its price is much cheaper than bitcoin. ETH price is now only about $ 540, a good price for us to invest in ETH.

At the moment I have more etherium than bitcoin, but if I invested all the money in crypto-currencies - I would choose bitcoin - The most proven crypto currency. I am sure that in the future it will not lose in price.

ETH since this coin seems to me the most promising, and now it has the most transactions and it is used in most ICO.

Still i will going to go all in in one coin which is impossible because of the high market volatility,but to answer your question i would go with bitcoin just to be safe,because bitcoin's value wont lose anytime soon but these bunch of altcoins will do lose their value if the market has started to crash or even if bitcoin's going to bull run,safest would be sticking with bitcoin.

If I had to put all my money in 1 crypto, it will be Ethereum. I believe in Ethereum. Ethereum is popular due to rise in decentralised apps and smart contracts. Smart contracts may have many uses in future. Solidity is becoming popular among coding community. Solidity is the language used for programming smart contracts. Dapps are usually made on Ethereum blockchain. Building dapps on Ethereum is easy and fast. Ethereum allows anyone to write smart contracts and decentralized applications where they can create their own arbitrary rules for ownership and transition functions. I think Ethereum has many uses and thus I think its value may increase in the future. So if I need to choose only one coin, then definitely Ethereum will be my choice.

Well no doubt I would chose Bitcoin too. The reasons why is because Bitcoin has the highest value in the cryptoworld among to all other coins. Though it's value is very volatile in the marketplace but most of the people in the community were already trusted Bitcoin and earn a lot of profit from it, when it comes to long term investment. Indeed your investments were much profitable and successful in the future to this crypto king alone.

As a matter of fact, it's not advisable to put all your eggs in a single basket. Why will someone choose to invest all of his money on a single coin when we have over 1k plus on coin market cap. If this situation really happened, then of course I would not take anything from Bitcoin, because I think that bitcoin today is the most important thing that this crypto-currency world has, so I would make such a choice.

It is really hard choose. The best option would be invest in few coins. But my favourite coin for now is ethereum. Probably will achieve a lot until end of this year

Above you mention Im all in ethereum, so bitcoin and ethereum. I had these coins for long term until now. Ethereum is best buy these days when you check its price it is still affordable. These crypto would definitely gives us a return of profit.

If I could only choose one crypto, it would be Bitcoin.  Bitcoin is king when it comes to adoption and is the safest crypto in terms of being not replaced anytime soon.  Even while newer cryptos come out with better technology, BTC's value rises and I don't see that changing anytime soon.  When all eggs are in a single basket, have to go with the one proven to withstand a lot of tests over history.

Im going to put all my money at bilibit token i new the team behind because ai also with behind the team but only as a supporter. So before they introduce their currency they have a good background of a good personality so im sure no scam happen on it only to the moon

I don't think its a wise decession to put my all money into single coin . crypto market is highly risky so try to separate your risk into separate coin if you are a long term investor you have to minimize your loss at first then invest.

Most won't agree with me but I would choose the etherium. It seems that when they switch to the POS protocol their price can skyrocket to the moon.

Base on what I read many crypto coin that they were suggested to put your money on. And the only coin that come into my mind is Ethereum because it is already proven a long time ago that's why I would suggest eth is the best.

It's really hard to choose. The best option is to invest in a few coins. And I recently invested a significant part of my capital on PORNX.

I did not get in to crypto to maybe double up but to do 10 or even 100 x on my investments. You will never see 10 x on BTC or ETH this year.

And to everyone that moves your investment from alts to BTC during dips. I juts not get it ? If BTC drops 50% you will lose the same amount of $ if you hold alts or BTC. And everyone complains about alts moving together with BTC. This would not happen if everyone stop trading alts for BTC during each dip. I say fuck BTC and will never ever invest in it. If everyine stop trading alts for BTC than alts would not be so dependent on BTC.

If we have a sizeable amount of money to invest in Crypto, it is not suggested if only investing in 1. We know that investing in Crypto is very proper and prospect for future. The more we invest in Crypto the more we will get return the money. And it is suggested to look the projects first before investing.

And BTC is still the best and prospect when we are gonna invest in crypto, it is the king and the strongest one.

I would choose bitcoin. The standard is crypto-currency, the most stable and so on. You can find many disadvantages of bitcoin. but in terms of investment is the best option.

Actually, I would never put all my money into an altcoin, nobody put all the eggs in the same basket. But if I had to put all my money into 1 altcoin, I would put all into bitcoin, because bitcoin is the best on the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will bring a lot of profit to long-term investors in it. If choose any one crypto, you need to select the most reliable one. For example bitcoin or etherium. In general, it's wrong  way to invest only one coin.

If i had to put all of my money into only one crypto currency, i would gladly put it for bitcoin. Why? I do not think that putting one's money into only one coin would be a good solution. Rather, I'm doing an "egg basket" where Bitcoin is a golden egg, Litecoin is a silver egg. And besides, coins with strong backgrounds like Stratis, Groestlcoin, Komodo, PIVX, Pura, Digibyte ...
Diversity is the thing that makes your investment more safe!! After all, no one knows actually which one will be the first/best cryptocurrency in the future :)

If I am not trading, the coins I believe over the long terms are $BTC, $ETH, $NEO and $REBL.

The one crypto currency I will invest in with out any fear is bitcoin. Bitcoin set the space for alternative crypto currencies when it is down all crypto currenies follow suit. It is the most widely accepted crypto coin that will bring in good profit when HODL 

we can not keep all our money in just one coin. yes, this looks very impossible to gain profit, which we will lose even if we save in one coin. the strategy of people in general always keep in some coins so that the money they save at any time become doubled. this is how holders or investors benefit from the money they save or invest.

I will put all on ethereum. Because ethereum is the smart contract. Most ICO projects are based on ethereum network. Ethereum is in number 2 of coinmarketcap. And right now price also pretty low. Ethereum has a good future. That's why.  :)

Investing in ETH is super risky atm IMO. Too many strong competitors which have much better technology built from the ground up, such as EOS, Cardano, and NEO.

NEO is kinda a beast as its ecosystem is massive, compromising a network different crypto projects (NEX, ONT, ELA, and so on) and its partnership with Stellar/IBM.

I would put it all in ethereum, because I believe its potential and value. It has a great edge over bitcoin. Ethereum blocks takes about 14 seconds per confirmation compared to Bitcoin’s 10 minutes, coins Market Cap are actually Ethereum-based tokens, and core development team is very healthy. If I were to invest, these are the main factors I'm gonna watch for, and good thing I found all these qualities in one coin, which is Ethereum.

Never put all eggs in one basket and make investment in 4-5 top altcoins with highest liquidity so if someone face any issue, you not loss as others give you some profits but if you put all your investments in only one coin and that crashed then you get heavy loss.

It would not make any sense to put all your money in only 1 crypto, but as you said, if one absolutely has to, then it should definitely be bitcoin.

At the moment, based on the history, the level of acceptance and popularity of crypto currency in the world, this would certainly be bitcoin.

I'd go with ethereum since the price was half this current market crash, and i believe in the potential of this coin thus i might all in here and hodl for years and i know this kind of coin will be pumped very hard sooner or later.

For security, I would choose bitcoin! But so do of course not worth it, because the market has about 10 coins that have a huge potential for development, so to allocate some one coin for me is simply impossible.

Also, need to be aware of the fact that many of the ICOs are gonna start cashing out their ETH soon as the mainnet is launched, to fund their project marketing and hire more team members.
This will drastically affect the price of ETH.

I think it's a wrong decision to put all money only in one crypto . It is very risky , because all your funds can be burned in one moment if project you choose will face with a problems , or appear to be a scam . Seeing its ath of $1300 it's so good to buy now of eth like it's in bargain price so better not to be left out. But of course, eth isn't the only coin now that's in bargain as many promising coins are still in dip like tron and cardano so it's a must have also.

Firstly i will never put all my money into crypto, why would i have nothing to fall back upon? It's not advisable to do such.
Well in that case I think Bitcoin will be the best option, because it dominate other digital currencies.

There are many crypto coins which alone are enough to give you good returns on investment and I would like to mention that they are BITCOIN, ETHEREUM, NEOCOIN, and MONERO these four coins are my favourite one as i have traded them very often in different market conditions and with different trading setups and believe me these coins didn't disappoint me by any trading department like Money management, Volatility, and Momentum. If I only get to invest my money on one crypto, i would definitely go for bitcoin. Aside from its high value, it has so much potential and with regards to its technology, it is a bit more Stable and have high demand.

I do not agree with putting all money in one bag , but if you have too then I would go with one of the top coins/tokens you can never go wrong with BTC , ETH , XMR , XRP , etc the list goes on . Next thing would be a coin with proof of stake or a token with monthly % like Kickcoin , kucoin ect .

If I had to make such a decision, this would be one of the new tokens. The token should already be on the exchange. The project has experience in business. The project was thoroughly tested. ICO was successfully completed ahead of schedule. Maybe from energy sector (as POWR, WPR, MWAT...).
I do not select projects now and I can not give an example from the present.

If I had to choose only one kind of crypto currency to invest in it, I would probably choose ethereum. This is one of the most reliable and popular coins. Perhaps, too much profit, it will not, but in its prospects and growth, I'm absolutely sure.

Hm.. I would invest in Bitcoin, as currently its price is quite low, and it has very good opportunities to grow in the future. For example, after Lightning implementation transations will be cheap and fast. And even now, we can see, that if altcoins are decreasing by 15%, Bitcoin has only 8% fall. At this point, I would have invested all my money in bitcoin. Now it has a fairly low cost, but you always need to have free money for averaging, because it can fall even harder.

I don’t think that it is all right to put all money into one cryptocurrency but if I should to make a definite choice than I am choosing Bitcoin. I believe this currency. And it is impossible on my mind to see how BTC will crash.

Put all your money in a one coin, is not a wise idea. There is chances that, you can loose your money or may be wait too long to get good return. So according to me, you will diversified your fund in different coins.
Even after this, you want to put your funds in one coin.

Though, I will never support putting all the money in a single coin, if I have to choose one I would say ripple XRP. In my own opinion if i will put all my money in one crypto I will put it all in eth. I know that tokens now are all in the bad situation but this is just for a moment. Indeed. Investing in a single coin/project is never a good idea. One must always diversify his/her investment into at least more than 3 coins. Diversifying investment provides security against losing all the money at once and also provides chance to gain significant profit, if any one of the coin among the bunch of coins you hold pumps hard and gives good returns.

Investing in one coin is highly risky, because you never know which coin can scam in future and which wouldn’t. If someone is firm on investing in just one coin, he/she must invest in well established coins such as ETH, BTC, NEO and XRP.

Bitcoin is strongest in the crypto world just because it was the first crypto currency that was ever created and its popularity lies far beyond any other coin in the market. Moreover most of the decentralized exchanges use BTC as their trading pair for other altcoins. Bitcoin according to me is useless in the current market and doesn’t really hold any utility.

It is just alive because of the popularity and the decentralized exchanges. BTC has scalability issues, volatility issue and liquidity issues and doesn’t really serve and purpose to the real world. There are many altcoins that are technically advanced than BTC and serve some purpose in the real world.

If had to put all my money into one crypto currency, I will put all my money into  Global cryptocurrency(GCC coin) (https://www.thegcccoin.com/) because the have high potentials in term of business and individuals transaction both local and international. However, the coin also supported micro payment which you can find in bitcoin world.

TRX is a great coin and the project is pretty good, but I would risk upon investing all my money into it, though I would love to invest some amount in it for sure. TRX is a highly volatile coin. It has test net, main net launch and coin burn scheduled on 31st of march. The reason behind spike in its price today is due to the above reasons. The main purpose and utility of TRX will only be known after the launch of the main net. If you are smart enough, you will sell your holdings just before the main net launch and then buy again when the coin goes for correction. TRX though a great coin, it isn’t worth investing all the money that one has.

If I was to do this, I'll probably go with some coin you may or may not have heard of. That coin is STEEM and the reason is simple. If it's just one coin and for a long time, I'll likely go to Bitcoin anyway.
Maybe Altcoin will beat each other in the future, but Bitcoin stays with his big name, and becomes more expensive not because of the technology.

For me Ethereum is the second after Bitcoin.  I like ETH because it's a perfect way to buy other alcoins. And it means that usage of ETH will only increase. There are more reasons to spread out your portfolio instead of just lowering risks though.
A big part of it is hedging assets against each other.
This is important so you can get maximum benefit from a certain type of asset.

If it's for one crypto then select which of course will be used and may be better developed in a long period of time. bitcoin I think is the most appropriate choice to take when talking about options investing. But if only focus provides capital to one crypto alone I think this is risky.

Ofcourse I'm gonna put my all investment in just bitcoin because bitcoin is very popular and indemand and the price of it was to high and many adoption was always happening aside from that they adopt bitcoin as another way of payment and use it now in some other country adoption is more became indemand.

if i were to put all my money in a particular crypto-currency,the choice would be bitcoin, bitcoin controls the market,if bitcoin goes down,every other coin or tokens even with larger proportion. I am sure which other coin will sand the test of time other than bitcoin,bitcoin is also the most decentralized of all cryptos

I don't think I need to explain my answer. Altcoins are fun to play with, but they are all yet unproven. Bitcoin has been resilient in the face of a myriad challenges. Most altcoins are just basing their value on their trade with bitcoin.


If the bitcoin to real world value interface didn't exist, most altcoins would go to very close to 0.

Yes, I agree, saving all the money in crypto becomes very risky, especially if you save it in just one coin, the risk of being doubled. Investing in crypto is indeed promising profit but there is no need to save all the money in crypto, only partially. Investing in a few coins is a wise choice.

since its too risky to put my money only in 1 crypto, i will tend to choose bitcoin as my main option to invest. i will not take more risk by buying altcoin except ethereum, because you will not earn easy profit at current market situation by only put your money in one basket. Besides, i used to invest in cryptocurrency with long term hold strategy, and bitcoin or ethereum will lasts for long term period with minimum risk (undervalue) and will bring you very promising profit to hold.

If I would put all my money in one crypto, I would definitely choose to put it in Bitcoin because even if its price will fo down, it would still be the highest price among all coins. And I am definitely sure that I cannot go wrong if I choose bitcoin.

I don't agree on putting all of your money into 1 crypto because it would be risky knowing that all cryptos are volatile and consistency when it comes on their value are lacking. It would be much better to invest on a couple of coins so that if one falls, the remaining has a chance to give you profit still.

I don't think it is a good investment decision for you to put all your money in one coin. As I am now am holding like 15 coins and this means I have shared my risks for any eventuality that might happen to any of them. It is better to invest in many in order to reduce the risk of losing all your money at once.

For sure at this current market condition I suggest ethereum. It is now in downfall trend so good to buy and hold this coin. More or less 30 days from now ethereum will increase as December is clearer. This is my opinion about your concern.

Risking your money in one coin I thought very riskily. And I also experienced it and I need to lose my money. I better put the money in some coins so that we have a great selection and definitely get a lot of advantages. And you should be more careful before investing, make sure the coin you buy has a very good potential.

Put the money in a single crypto has a very big risk. But if you are confident with your decision, certainly you can do it. But for me personally, I will not do. I prefer for some crypto to put my money. And this I do with based on my research.

If I were to pull all of my money into one coin, Its has to be $Bitcoin. For trust sakes, popularity and acceptability. If I have to put all my money into only one asset, I will rather invest in bitcoin. However, I can see now that bitcoin stand big and giant in the cryptosystem. Also, it determine the price of some ICO in cryptosystem. With all these for mention reason above, I will choice bitcoin.

I would never do so, because the number one rule of every investor and not only in crypto space is the funds diversification. You need to select at least 10 projects and invest in them. Will gain much higher profits at the end.

Well for me, it would only be on Ethereum. I think it will be so great to invest on it because many projects are using its own platform.

I would choose diversifying my money by investing crypto into different coins. My top coins in the list is bitcoin as the most profitable crypto though value is down I am positive it will recover. Also choose other coins to spread your investment to minimize the risks of not putting all in one coin.

To make such choice it is better to analyze guarantees and I consider that BTC will be the most reliable variant there because its value is a good premis for this.
