There are so many coins available on the market. I want to invest 1000 USD on cryptocurrency. What do you think I should buy? Thank you!

Split you money into parts and invest into top coins(BTC,ETH), few trending(like ripple, neo, etc.) and also some money you can invest into ICOs.
The idea is just not to put all money into one coin.

I think you should buy the major currencies and a few altcoins in order to some sort of altcoin brought you a lot of profit and major currencies for a long time investment  ;)

Well if you want to invest on cryptocurrencies you must learn the risks of losing money here and how to deal with it. Because many people were selling their cryptocurrencies just because the price were dropped by a thousand dollars they should know the capabilities of a coin before thinking to selling the coin and also, i suggest that you should split the investments top coins only.

I'm interested on what is the definition of major currency for you compares to Altcoin? All cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin is what we called Altcoins since Bitcoin is our major currency here.

Answering the best crypto to purchase by 1000USD. This is  a case to case basis what is your preferred type of investment. Long term or short term? If long term then pick the top 10 currency on CMC but if short term then buy on a promising ICO then dump once exchange available.

Buy top 100 coins in the coinmarketcap today that is on sale(not in a gain). To know if a certain altcoin is lower than it's usual average price or not, refer to the graphs to see the ups and downs of it in the past months. You can also invest those 1000 USD dollars on ICO's as they are very profitable, but very risky as well. Only buy coins from ICO's if you are prepared to take huge risks in order to gain profit.

Do not invest in the market because it is not safe right now all coins are affected due to bitcoin manipulation. I recommend you to participate in ICOs because there are bonuses but you will have to choose carefully.

So you mean OP must diversify his 1000 USD for top 100 coins? $10 investment in each coin? It's very bad idea and he will not profitable anything from it.

Believe me or not, $1000 still too little when you want to invest something ($1000 only for max 2 coins investment). Invest in something you think it has bright future (ETH as example, reason? Because most of ICOs used ETH as their platform)

I would recommend to buy some Bitcoin and some Ethereum. You could also invest in some of the other trending altcoins and same some for ICO investment.

I'd recommend you to invest in BTC and then in some of the popular coins like ETH, XMR, NEO, since they have a high chance of going up in value both in the short-term and long-term. You can also do some research on your own and look for some other not so popular altcoins that show potential for the long run.

I would suggest to split it on two half’s and buy Ethereum and NEO. The prices are low now and these two are going to gain value soon in my opinion.

You can split your money into two pieces for long term and short term coins according to your endurance against risk and probability of huge loss of money.

Personally, I keep half of my money in ETH, NEO and VEN, and other part in coins that have small merketcaps.(of course it is risky.)

Don't buy the ones you hear from people which are talked too much like tron and buy the ones that have really useful technology for this space like OAX, I avoid some projects since though it is good idea but too early for the market.

it seems that with that kind of money you may be able to buy litecoins or etherium classik with so much altcoin you have more and if the right time you sell it the more profit you get.

You can invest in NEO, LTC, ETH as these are the 3 most potent coins at this time and the price at this time is really very cheap and will probably grow again in April. Personally, I still want you to invest in ICO projects as this is an investment that will make you rich quick but it can also cause you to lose all your assets within a day. then the 200$ left would be on low cap coins for example ( CPC , TRAC , TFD , SHIPCHAIN , BBN , )

What is your investment plan? will you go for long term or short term investment? If long term, find a coin that you think that has a potential to grow more in the future, of course you will need to do a deep research for you to be able to decide. For short term I think investing in a cryptocurrency that has a huge trading volume will be good. I won't suggest any coin because investing in cryptocurrency market are speculative investment, you should decide by your own. Investing in an ICO will be good but nowadays it is really hard to find a good project that really can contribute and can really solve something new. Also don't focus on one investment, spread your money.

I can not suggest many coins that you can choose. if you are a newbie then I suggest to buy a coin that already has a good reputation such as etherum. it will make us feel safe and comfortable in making investments. coin with a good popularity in the eyes of the public will make us can make decisions much easier. without having to think harder we can invest more safely, I am sure that if we invest in a new coin then the risk will be much higher than when we invest in a coin that has a good reputation.

Its a bargain to buy NEO. If it will dip more the better for you to buy neo. I have been buying over and over and have profit every time because of the GAS. There are also several coins that you will sure profit in the future like Binance coin and KCS. I'm a fan of these two for its useful to have discount in transaction fee in trading.

If you are going to invest according to advises, you will probably loose your $1000 at all or a part of it. You will never know when to sell because the advisors will not be able to tell you the right time to sell. Don't be that much extravagant. Try to invest with your own decisions. Otherwise you'll be addicted to advises...

I will recommend you to spilt your $1000 capital into a few coins. IMO, BTC, ETH, Neo and XMR are good to buy. But please do your own research before investing.

To be honest I don't know much about every kind of coins. But receiving the answers here, I have the opportunity to check the coins which are more recomamndated and to make an ideea about them. I believe the people here already have their own investments in cryptocurrencies and they know more about them.

What risk you have invested on the cryptocurrencies which are all already listed in the market. There are few cheap altcoins does not have potential to bump that may go cheaper or vanish out in the market for sure.
If you want to invest on 1000 USD you may manipulate all the money you have in various cryptos.
I suggest to chosoe the bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, NEO and Monero. You will be able to get the few coins for this amount all the coins rate is higher in the market.

As per my suggestion you can buy some low valued coins like RDD,BITB, XVG and DOGE, Because those low value coins have more potential to grow.Those altcoins looks very promising in near future.

I would recommend researching two projects that are low cap cryptocurrencies and invest in them.  A thousand dollars isn't much money to start with so you'll need to invest it in something cheap and hope that it multiplies many times for you.  Putting $1000 in bitcoin won't give you a nice return as it would if you invested in a low cap altcoin.

You would really consider splitting up a thousand dollars 5 ways?  A hundred dollars in XMR, LTC, NEO is nothing.  You have to consider the trading fees and transaction fees.  Moving bitcoins out of the exchange will eat up some of the money and same with all the other altcoins.  I say invest in 2 low cap altcoins would a better decision.

The first and most important thing is your experience in trading. If you are a newbie and do not particularly understand the trends in the market, then definitely not worth investing in one coin, at least 2.

Great, you have entered the market at the right time. If you really want to be very profitable then start investing into the undervalued coins like ADA, XRP, NEM, IOTA and SCL, JNT etc. This is long list and you should do just fine with them. Considering the high valued coins you can always trust the ETH in this regard and upto some extent you can own NEO coin too. This portfolio would be just fine for yourself to get started with crypto currencies this year. I would recommend for you to invest in coins that have a reasonable low market cap. The wrong indication that we usually look into is the price of a coin. If the price is low, we buy. But that is actually not the main basis of being able to earn huge profit in long term. Having a low market cap together with a promising working project gives room for profit. But don't  take this literally in the sense that you will invest in coins with very low market cap. You still need to search on that coin if it is promising before buying in. 

Currently, if you have $ 1000 you can invest in QTUM, this crypto is presently in my opinion that crypto will have potential in the future, predicting its exchange rate after another year will reach $ 200 to $ 500. So if you have 1000 dollars at the moment, you can buy about 80 QTUM coins, invest in hold it for at least 1 year to make a profit.

If you are going to invest with that money, I highly suggest ethereum, ripple or litecoin since they are already stable in the crypto market and they already proved their name in the cryptocurrency world. But it is still depending on you if you are going to do long-term investment or short-term holdings. Just think about it first before you decide so that you won't regret it in the end.
