Many Countries have put restriction and banning crypto currencies. In this situation which country you think is supporting crypto currency activities? where Exchangers and traders have favorable environment.

Singapore is suitable for private investors who want to save themselves from the tax burden - digital coins in the state-city are not considered a commodity and therefore are not taxed. I think all the countries that haven't started to regulate cryptocurrencies are good for traders. In Ukraine we don't have any regulation yet, but our government actively disscuss it and promise to legalize cryptocurrencies with taxes or ban if they won't be able to regulate it. But I hope that they wise enough to realize that ban is not a good solution for all of us and for them as well.

So far as I know here our country in the Philippines our government was quiet in cryptocurrencies and one of that is bitcoin, they not having any law and regulation on bitcoin or putting a tax on bitcoin besides they recognized bitcoin as one of the currencies that may use in online transaction here our country. As of now in the survey result, we have a huge amount of users that based in bitcoin here.
If I was not mistaken the USA is the most country that rich in crypto, Japan is also rich in crypto but unfortunately lately they
closed 5 exchange site theirs.

The United States, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Finland, Canada, UK, Australia and many more countries are cryptocurrencies friendly allowing offers for traders and exchangers. They also support cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment in most of the local shops helping in improving the currency aspect of cryptocurrencies.
Russia, on the other hand, is a great place for miners to be as it will be soon offering tax-free mining areas as they do produce lots of electricity and have started supporting cryptocurrencies.

I think many countries are already legalizing crypto currencies by implementing taxes on them, if you are looking for tax free legal countries i think you need to move to off-shore islands maybe, on the serious note, i think singapore and hong kong seems the better places at the moment for cryptos.

it should be Singapore,
you can not compare it to others,because you do not need to pay the taxes unlike other country.
(even though some of it did the same thing like what singapore did to their citizen).
and the second one should be Japanese,
it is a bit strict compared to others,
but their government openly accepted it,so nothing to worry about if you are holding it or using it openly unlike others.

I think that this is undoubtedly Japan, I believe that the country ahead of the world in the development of cryptocurrency

A bit sad to see that we have come to look for countries that are friendly instead of keeping crypto the way it was meant to be. Decentralized. Maybe one day soon we will see true P2P and true decentralization, that countries will try but keep failing to control. I just read today that Pakistan's big exchange has forced to shut down, that is truly sad. But do not worry, this will force people to seek elsewhere to sell and buy. Government cannot stop you sending and accepting crypto. They can try but now even without internet you can access Bitcoin.

For me i Europe Switzerland and Estonia are among the ones who will adopt crypto and change the world and hopefully push other countries to adopt crypto

Low or zero crypto taxes, crypto-friendly governments, etc. The biggest con is that both are in top 10 of most expensive countries to live.

I would defienetly say Japan, not only because the banks in Japan knows about bitcoin and as long as you pay taxes( usually a bit cheap compared to other countries), you won't have any problem to make banks transfers that are related to bitcoin.

Stores in Japan has a payment system that supports bitcoin and you can pay with bitcoin as easy as you would pay with credit card.
Japan also has huge exchanges with a decent volume, I would say that it is the perfect country for bitcoin traders.

Russia, Japan and Singapore are some of the countries that has given some level of free hand to cryptocurrency. Their government has been very acceptable to blockchain technology and its principles. This has been noticed in an unhindered operations given to crypto exchangers in these countries.

I think it is bit risky to go with such countries who did not regulate yet. If they regulate it and ban the crypto currencies or become more strict then can be problem.

Aside from those rich countries in bitcoin for me, Japan is the most among them all, and yes you are right that Japan has the largest trading companies in all countries then I say that they were abundant on cryptocurrencies users and stocks.
The place for traders in Japan, but lately, they are having an issue of bitcoin. So, there are exchange site was decided to close due for that reason.

I'd like to highlight first of all Japan, and also Malta that aims to be a major crypto-haven for Europe at least. Belarus and Singapore are also favourable countries for cryptotrading.

I don't know who is better, but one of them is Belarus I believe. As far as I know, they are very loyal to the cryptocurrencies. Miners are exempt from taxes until 2023, if I am not mistaken. A wise decision by the government  to attract more investment in their country.

Government has been releasing the instrument to the all of exchange sites to increase its security to against the hacker. Due to the strict regulation about the security measures for all of japan exchange sites and that makes two of them decided to close their service.  It's really strict country in my opinion but malta can become an alternative for japan.

Yes, Belarus is one of best option because they have regulated and Crypto activities are Now Legal in Belarus.

I think malta is a crypto heaven now because many exchanges are moving to the country, Bianance moved to the country recently, weeks after they move to the country Okex follow suit and I see more exchanges moving to the country soon. So I think the country is crypto heaven

I can say which one is not, which is my country - Brazil.

Brazil has huge bureocracies, higher and confusing tax system and an oligopoly in banking (5 banks hold 90% of the market). It is definitely not friendly for crypto and I would say any innovatoin at all.

I have heard that Singapore is the most cryptocurrency friendly country in the world.  I don't even think they tax cryptocurrency gains.  The country is also very clean and safe.  Vitalik Buterin moved there for good reasons. 

Crypto traders and exchangers should know that there is always a potential county that can be your so-called "heaven" and I think that is Philippines. Philippines is a third-world and developing country. So there is so much room for improvement. The government is silent about cryptocurrencies but they do seminars about it. Also the BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) allowed coins.ph, the number one remittance for btc and eth, to operate in the country.

I don't know if it's the best country for crypto but Switzerland has really amazing laws for crypto businesses, miners and traders. You can even use crypto to pay your taxes over there. So that sounds like heaven to me !

Japan and Germany because the use of Crypto currencies of these two countries are free of tax and they full support the Crypto currencies existence especially the Bitcoin. In Japan every employee can now have the option to receive their salary in Bitcoin or in fiat but mostly they prefer to receive Bitcoin currency so that they could instantly to join Crypto currencies trading then in Germany the use of it is fully tax free in which it is in favor of the Crypto traders and investors too.

Zug is an affluent municipality and town in Switzerland. Switzerland Is The Place To Be For Bitcoin, Ethereum And Blockchain Initiatives. Zug is called crypto valley, as there are all conditions for the development of crypto companies.

I think Switzerland is one of best contries for crypto. About Japan, I think they are taking precaution about digital coin. We needn't care about it. 'cuz we work in Internet, and we aren't illegal.

Singapore is the land of haven like savings for major investors in the stock market, and now the cryptocurrency market.

As of now, Singapore does not consider Bitcoin as a commodity nor a currency. Therefore if you are hoping to save the unnecessary taxes in Singapore it is best to consider Bitcoin purchases as investments as investments are tax exempted.

Individuals such, Vitalik the founder of Ethereum has even moved to Singapore thanks to this reason.

I think it is Germany, the country without crypto restriction and taxes. These are "private money" for the citizens of Germany, the cryptocurrency is not stated as stocks or usual currency.

Well, Denmark is a very good country to be in for trading and dealing with the crypto world. There are no taxes of the reason of their country's rule.

I think Japan is a the paradise for crypto traders and exchangers. Another country that i always see on the radar when it comes to cryptos is Russia.

Russia is not much crypto friendly country. Most people are preferring offshore countries now.

I would say those countries which doesnt have any existing regulations or restrictions with the use of cryptocurrencies,countries which has cheap electricity for the miners ,and those countries that are fully supporting cryptocurrencies there are few countries but most of these countries are going to be more powerful to those countries which has banned cryptocurrencies.

Venezuela is so friendly towards crypto that they have even created their own currency! Surprisingly, there aren't any big exchanges over there yet, but it's just a matter of time before a new binance appears for the south american market.

I'd say Switzerland is/will be the heaven all is looking for. After all, they are aiming to become "the crypto-nation" then I'd say Russia will be the other after the release of Russian Cryptocurrency, I don't know why but when thinking about that I feel safer about cryptocurrencies.

I am not so interested of where is the best place now, but where the best place will be in the near future.
I believe that UK is going to take steps forward after Brexit. They are very flexible when comes into inviting money into the country.

The Island of Malta, Singapore and Switzerland are the few ones I've seen. Venezuela is also embracing cryptocurrencies in a bid to boost their petro. In some time to come, we may realize that these countries will be at the forefront of technology if other countries still criticise it. Blockchain has brought a lot of innovation to the way we do things.

Obviously Japan, however, they are very strict about their local exchanges. The most friendly to crypto exchanges for me is Malta that's why Binance and OKEX. And they are now passing 3 bills that most likely will attract more ICO projects and trading platforms to go there. And then there is also the Baltic Tigers who are also slowing gaining some grounds as far as being friendlies. My point is, crypto is slowly gaining some grounds and if there are countries being harsh on it, there are also nations who chooses to sit on the opposite end and take advantage of being a safe haven for all things related to crypto.

For me it is the country which doesnt have any regulation,restrictions for the cryptocurrencies,country which has good support from the community.I wont be wasting my time and effort if my country does have a lot of regulations because you wont enjoy the benefit of having cryptocurrencies just like china is,totally banned any acitivities with connections in cryptocurrencies.

I see singapore and hong kong as two paradise for traders

Exchanging between coins from exchange on your country is actually fine but the issue will take place when trying to withdraw the fiat through the same exchange. Transactions taking place from Nigeria might cause a lot of red flags and people may have to deal with a lot of unnecessary and unwanted issues.

It depends if you want to be millionaire in FIAT, if this is the case go to Netherland tax on crypto is less than 2%, after that Denmark, Sweden, Finland . But some research need to be made  ;)

3 monthes ago I listened than Republic of Belarus implement 0% taxes for incomes in cryptocurrencies. But few days ago Belarus applies mandatory varification for cryptotraderes

I think these countries now do not exist and will not exist. The ideal country is where this activity is legal and not taxed. None of the existing states (from developed countries) can establish such conditions.

For me its Japan because I think crypto currency originate from them, I know they are strict when it come to local exchange but it fits for them as a heaven for crypto traders and exchangers.

Denmark is Number 1 without any Cryptocurrency tax, whatever you make is your’s.

Right now, the best ones seem to be Japan ad Switzerland, although I keep hearing that Australia is on a good track as well. I guess that overall, most developed countries are not closing doors to bitcoin, and are doing a decent job in terms of regulation. I just don't like the way some countries are taxing bitcoin, since they want to tax it as property, and that won't be good for bitcoin's goals.

I know some country like Japan that really supporting cryptocurrency, and their country legalized crypto and crypto there can be use for daily transaction to buy good and service. They manage crypto and blockchain technology in very well. Some countries do issue bans that prohibit cryptocurrencies from trading in their countries, but I do not think such bans are worth mentioning because they cannot control cryptocurrencies. Their government fears that cryptocurrencies will affect their national economies. But we think carefully. Password currency stopped due to prohibition? But in fact, it's not. On the contrary, for example, Japan's countries are very friendly to cryptocurrencies. I think this is what the government should be like.

My Country is Indonesia, in my country the Bank from indonesia issued a press release on Jan. 13, warning its citizens against the use of selling, buying or trading cryptocurrency and reiterating that virtual currency is not legitimate within Indonesia. this is sadly news to me and my all friend on indonesia :'(

Does not really matter to the average user, I feel. Even in Iran where Bitcoin was completely banned, people still trade easily and without issues over p2p like localbitcoins. People have a shortage of USD and EUR there but they can still send money abroad via Bitcoin. Heaven or hell, a country cannot stop Bitcoin. This is the beauty of decentralization, which is why we must do our best to preserve and protect it in crypto.

I have talked to some people from Indonesia and there are people who don't care about this law and they are keep on doing the usual trade with crypto's.

Singapore and Japan. the two countries are places of the crypto transaction and of course their State revenue also from crypto. the most interesting is Japan, this country is the home of crypto. the country has set up everything about crypto in any route.

I think that Japan supports cryptocurrency activities because it has a small land area and lacks resources because bitcoin mining requires a lot of power resources, and Bitcoin can grasp these resources so that they can have better development.

I know of Japan, Malta and Gibratar. These 3 countries are very friendly to exchnages. Malta President recently personally woo Binance to their country and I have seen some of their ads on bloomberg claiming to be a open to a blockchain and fintech companies. In fact, I did not even think about it!  Although not a few countries where it is banned, many states have begun developing domestic crypto-currencies and introducing them into financial systems.

Malta for sure. Prime Minister istelf is pro-blockchain, they are making many laws to be blockchain island, they are welcoming exchanges like Binance and many others and they'll soon grant banking\FIAT support (even when it's not clear).

It's the first time we see so clear announcements with respect to blockchain. There is not uncertainty in Malta's approach. They want to be pioneers in supporting this new tech.

Heaven is not limited by boundaries and neither is crypto, so as far as i can see, crypto traders and exchangers remain uninhibited so far by any such lines.

Although Japan has legalized bitcoin, but the Japanese are only interested in Bitcoin, they seem to have no interest in altcoins, perhaps Nordic countries, Russia prefers altcoins.So I prefer to trade on European exchanges.

I believe that Japan and Switzerland are the best countries for traders and exchangers. It seems to me that these countries now have the best laws for crypto, and the technology in these countries is very well developed.

Malta, of course.

Estonia, where Skype was originally made, has always been a tech-friendly country and welcomed new innovations whenever possible. Slovenia
Slovenia - the country with the biggest civil support for Bitcoin in the world now has an active public organization “Bitcoin Association” and may very well be on its path to become the Silicon Valley of Europe.

Slovenia seems to have it all: plans for blockchain in the Development Strategy for the Information Society until 2020, a strong sense of Bitcoin culture in the community (9 Bitcoin ATMs as well as the largest bitcoin exchanges and marketplaces in the country), reputable business communities with over 300 companies (including international ones), that promote and use decentralized technologies and blockchain, and more. Georgia

In particular, it is one of the three countries with the largest amount of Bitcoin miners (among China and the U.S.), is home to one of the largest mining and blockchain solution companies: BitFury (among other big mining companies like Ambit), and generally has a very strong sense of crypto culture that is growing by the day.

Singapore and Japan is the country that most good in terms of crypto. even Japan is home to mainly crypto itself is located. Crypto in Japan just as much as a regular activity that has already become a routine transaction for everyone there. even countries will also support it and also utilize it to earn a profit for their country of incorporation.

other than japan and singapore, those countries that have very strong political governments like usa russia and china are harsh on cryptos.  they dont like to lose control over what its citizens can hold. usually those in 3rd world countries where government are not aware of cryptos or dont even care, these are heaven.  some developed nations in europe are also friendly to cryptos, like switzerland and denmark.

Switzerland, as far as I know, welcomes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Also, it is home to some of the best cryptocurrency and blockchain companies in the world such as ShapeShift and Xapo.

I think it is Japan, because Japan already supports cryptocurrency, and there are many stores that support bitcoin payments. Japan trades all the big trading volume, and the government does not restrict trading freedom.

I think these countries now do not exist and will not exist. The ideal country is where the activity is legal and tax free. No current status (from developed countries) can establish such conditions.

For me I think Malta lead the way, gibratar is one to considered also and most of these carebian Islands. But IMO I think it does not matter where you are trading from because mostof the traders in the crypto space are from Asia, once you are pating tax on your profits I think you are good to go.

Korea, Singapore, Malta, Gibraltar and Estonia are countries that continue to support cryptocurrency.
Then they also always make ICOs for making tokens and Exchange.

Thanks for this thread. I thought South Korea and China are good supporters of crypto but there are still few more. I often see Estonia-based and Singapore-based ICOs, too. As what I've read, European countries are majority.

I see Singapore is a suitable place for this. There's more of course country Japan which everyone knows the home is good enough for crypto. many of the ICO was born from Singapore and some of it was quite successful. for the exchange of trade and I am sure it is a suitable place among other Nations. from the European side naturally there are Swiss and Russian are also a great many also gave rise to ICO and is a fairly well known in some big ICO.

There is no doubt that Japan is a paradise for cryptocurrencies. Where can you not only participate in the cryptocurrency transactions, but also get more news and reports about the cryptocurrency market!

If we speak about Asian countries, it is Japan of course. When you mean the Middle East, this paradise is in the United Arab Emirates. Go to America, and find it in the USA. European best place is Germany.
