FBI Working on 130 Cryptocurrency-Related Investigations

While supervisory special agency Kyle Armstrong says the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sees cryptocurrencies in a neutral light, he mentioned at a conference that  the agency currency has 130 open cases related to virtual currency.

Volkswagen has applied for a patent allowing vehicles to communicate with each other through a blockchain-based network aimed to increase road safety by warning of nearby vehicles and alerting the driver to potential collisions.

Apple Forces Facebook VPN App Out of iOS Store for Stealing Users' Data📱

Facebook yesterday removed its mobile VPN app called Onavo Protect from the iOS App Store after Apple declared the app violated the iPhone maker's App Store guidelines on data collection.

The so-called VPN app has been the source of controversy earlier this year, when the social media giant offered it as a free mobile VPN app, promised to "keep you and your data safe when you browse and share information on the web.

This Facebook's free VPN app had already been downloaded over 33 million times across both iOS and Android devices, and it is still alive and working on the Play Store, and Facebook has no plans to remove it until and unless Google finds it violating its terms.

Blockchain technology adds transparency and openness to the user-antivirus relationship.

As a rule of thumb, a user doesn’t know how a virus got to their computer, what the cause was and how the attack was repelled. All the data is recorded in the antivirus database that is, in fact, not accessible. It causes suspicions that antivirus software companies create viruses to have some “work to do.”

In our case, the data is written on the blockchain. After repelling an attack, a record containing a hash from the virus file, the virus type, the time of the attack, and etc. is created. The information is written on the blockchain, which is publicly accessible and can be verified by anyone.

Why classic antiviruses (AVs) don’t work

Malware is evolving at an extremely fast pace: around 4 new malware samples are produced every second worldwide and there are over 750 million of them today.

How the classic AV combats malware?
When a new virus is detected, it is sent to the malware analytic laboratory. It means the attack has already taken place.
The malware analysts study the sample, make a signature for it and place it to the database. Sometimes this process takes a couple of hours, sometimes weeks.
The database finally gets to the endpoints. The endpoints should be protected from now on.

What are the disadvantages?
The protection is done post factum, when the malware has already caused irreparable damage.
While the protection is being developed, hundreds of new samples appear worldwide, meaning endpoints are actually never secure. WannaCry and NonPetya have confirmed that.

Nope, what i mean is you need to remember a Token Sale and an IEO are not the only source of funding for this project. The Team's spent a major part of their own funds self-funding this project all the way to a working product before any Token Sale. Secondly the EU stepped in to support them with a full grant via the Horizon2020 vision because they could see where cybersecurity was going and Romad was the future. Then we had VCs invest in Romad. They (exchanges) need to make sure if they will only listed some legit token on their site, so that's why it take long time to get listed. Afaik, you don't need to wait for 4 months to get listed in 1 exchange, because you can apply your token on many exchange on same time

What successes do you talk about if the project team is not able to organize ICO on time? First called the period April-July 2018, then August-December, later August-September but as a Pre-ICO, and the main ICO in 2019 year. Now talk about IEO. No, this information is only for non-registered participants. It is a reminder, ROMAD will not tolerate late registration for ROMAD token RDNA scheduled to be distributed to all private wallets before listing.

Beginning from Sept the 1st, 2019, ROMAD will be distributing the smart token RDNA to the appropriate ETH private addresses registered by all valid TGE and bounty participants in the ROMAD CABINET. This is a common situation when project have bounty before being listed. Talking about Romad - their bounty was held when they had ICO. Not it is over, bounty reward distributed to cabinets and we are waiting for listing.

Btw, not everyone drops their bounty tokens during first listing (but most do). I know lots of examples when people buy from bounty hunters during listing and resell tokens with profit.

Very often CEO answers the questions. And he unwers in Russian for English questions. For example on the question about tokens in English he in Russian answered about future plans and participation in big project. Token holders of RDNA will get additional tokens of new project. Soon it will be more information about this cooperation.

Hello. My wallet have two different tokens from Romad. RDNA from bounty last year, and RBDN from Clet airdrop. I only noticed that when I received 2 types of tokens on the same day. Do I need to do any swapping?

The Business Dept is happy to announce that as of Saturday Sept 21 02:00 UTC, the issuance of ROMAD smart token has ended. Distribution is now complete. Valid TGE (token sale) and bounty participants duly registered in the ROMAD CABINET should have their corresponding RDNA allocation in their private wallet addresses. We also recognize the last-minute delays to the timely distribution as we granted a two-week deadline extension to include our Korean, Singaporean and Indonesian communities who weren't properly carried along by their administration.
 
Addressing recent inquires, if you do not have RDNA tokens in your private addresses, do be reminded that

1. ROMAD will not be liable for any incorrectly filled data in your account cabinet.

2. You have failed to register an account in the cabinet before the stipulated and extended deadlines.

What you are talking about? It is clear you have no idea whatsoever about this.

Develop a tokens economy with what? Listing of a useless token and who will buy it?
If there is no need for such a token with no real use case, even more, there are plenty of tokens with many real use cases and struggling at almost zero value.

This project looks like a scam from the start and from what I see nothing has changed. Like in the first comment I have quoted @Milamol have written, all the team is trying to achieve is to list this shit on exchange and dump on stupid investors but I hope there will be not many taking into consideration how bad advertising this project has.

But, as I understand it, when a token is traded on the exchange, ICO|STO|IEO were over. The money from crowdfunding has already been received by the team. Trading on exchanges changes the price and redistributes tokens between investors. But the project no longer receives new money.

Of course, you are right. Altcoin or token listing on exchange changes nothing in the project development and here is no visible progress from the beginning.

As I told already before, many questions were asked during the ICO and I never got answers.

There is no progress, no development, so the listing on exchange has no sense because nobody will buy this shitcoin.

Of course, all bounty hunters will be asking for listing and exchanges, but there will be no investors willing to buy even if listed finally on untrusted exchange and the only outcome from this listing will be that there will be no volume and liquidity for Romad.

Nobody wants to list such altcoin because there is no money in it for an exchange, especially if the listing is gratis. Volume and liquidity are needed to earn on fees and if not nobody will bother to list such altcoin.

No, I don't agree there will be many sellers but no buyers. No demand because there is no use for this token. Nobody needs him and nobody uses him.

There will be plenty of sellers willing to dump, take into consideration only bounty hunters and all other people who have worked for this project and were rewarded with this useless tokens.

I have seen this so many times and even when such a token is listed on the exchange then this is a shitty one or P2P were there are no volumes and liquidity.
Of course, nothing happens only the sell wall is full of selling offers but on the other side is empty, no buy orders even for the cheapest price.

Nobody is stupid and everybody already learned a lesson that there has to be a product and altcoin or token has to be implemented to that product to create organic demand. When people start to use it then and only then there is a chance for demand and investors willing to buy.


I agree if we talk about big established exchanges but nobody will list Romad on such exchange like Coinbase Pro, Binance, Bittrex, Okex, Bithumb and that are the type of exchanges needed to get demand even for a shitty altcoin. The only place which will list Romad are small P2P exchanges with no volume or not trusted once like Yobit orLivecoin but for a fee which is around 3 to 5 BTC.

All established and trusted exchanges check projects which are asking for listings and without an MVP, ongoing development, dedicated team, active community you can forget to be listed there. I forget to mention that such an alt or token has to be already listed on smaller exchanges and there has to be visible demand and high volumes to convince bigger exchanges in the first place.

Exchanges make money on fees and they don't want to list projects with no real demand and already developed a token economy. This is a lot of work to list and maintain such altcoin, nobody will do it for such a project as Romad.

There was a time when ICOs post their actual money raised together with their contract address while the ICO is going on. Sooner, the amount raised is already faked and the contract address is not anymore shown to the public.

This is the same shady practice that was imitated by almost all succeeding projects possibly including ROMAD. I hope I'm wrong. But even so, the team should be transparent about financial accounting.

For now, you cant simply download a beta. You have to send an email with a request.
Dont know how they send it now (havent sent an email), whether they send a download link or installation file.   

The team should fast track their developments here because most of their followers are now not interested because of slow development.
They haven't given also about the status of their final version, whether they will release it or not, and approximately when?
This is the usual problem of most projects, after their sale, they slow down in giving updates up to the point that you can't get any info from them.  ::)

If you ask in the telegram group the admin will answer "Not news that can be shared yet", in my opinion they aren't doing anything, apparently there is no investor in the group, it seems that there are only Bounty Hunters ...

Most likely, the token will be listed on the exchange only at the next bull rally. They only do what they promise us for two years. I very much doubt that they will list the token this year on the exchange. If they pursued this goal, then it would have long been achieved. what I am curious about is that - has anyone tried their beta version? indeed, their developments is quite slow and we can't make them faster as it is entirely dependent on the team. and now, they have another reason to delay things here. they are still active in telegram but wonder what is the real status in their development. i wonder how this covid situation really affect their development as they can work this project even at the comfort of their homes. they can communicate with other staffs via online face-to-face communications. technology now makes everything possible if you have the intentions to move forward.
