Bitcoin has surged up to nearly 9000 usd. Many are rooting for a run to 10k at this point. The whole market is up because of Bitcoin's success. There still has not been any correction as many expected. Only time will tell just which way Bitcoin will be going in the upcoming week. At the rate it is going at now, the market may very well see bullish trends soon.

But do not get excited yet, btc will make some uncertain situation in the future (maybe). The whole market is up because of Bitcoin's success. There still has not been any correction as many expected. And that is a good thing for investors. Only time will tell just which way Bitcoin will be going in the upcoming week. At the rate it is going at now, the market may very well see bullish trends soon. And I think btc will double the price this year or next following years, haha.

Yes and i believe within this month bitcoin will continue to rise maybe it will reach at 10000$. All is possible at bitcoin, because bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and the first crypto trusted by people from the beginning until now. what do you mean by this?
the "big correction" has already happened months ago when price fell 50% down to $10k then it was also pushed down way below the support and past the correction's end.
the correction of this small rise has also happened multiple times after each rise about $200-$300 drop takes place which IS the correction.

Yes!  This is a very positive movement of bitcoin price!  The investors are coming back after being depressed for the price dropping for 3 long months. The bitcoin price has been stable on its price increase for a month now and this is a hard proof that its price is surging possibly it could reach 10k by the end of this month of April!

Bitcoin is probably recovering its value, it already had a hard fall until 6k .. we are still not in an uptrend, but as soon as it reaches 11k-12k, it is likely that it will then break and reach 20k without problems.

BTC touch 9k  has made confidence in the BTC market to recover and increase the value is realistic. It will certainly be much higher. But I think it is important to be careful in every decision as it can fluctuate suddenly.

Well almost everybody is hyped about the rising of prices. 10K is very much attainable maybe in week or two. Guess all those who bought coins during the dip are all smiles now.

in a time that has not even reached half a year, bitcoin is able to recover quickly, this is a good sign. but we still have to be careful, considering those who have bought bitcoin at the lowest price a few months ago, must have gained profit and maybe they will sell it simultaneously. on the other hand, I'm sure by the end of the year bitcoin is able to touch the same price as last year, or even higher than that.

one or two weeks later will be 10 K, then the price will climb up slowly and resistant to FUD and bans by govt or others. all coins draged too. eth now is about 600 USD. Bitoin is still the highest rank. holding both will give you profit in the near future.

That is a very good news for us especially for traders. For me, I am very lucky since the coin from the ICO I had joined is queued to my ETH wallet. It will only take a matter of days for me to receive it. I like bitcoin when its price increases because the whole economy experiences growth. But, I have regrets that I haven't bought bitcoin when the price was around 8000 USD.

bitcoin systems does not recognize inflation like other currencies, bitcoins is not like fiat that is not practical, and easily collapsed as happened in greece, venezuela, and argentina. so the bitcoin value will continue to rise and high.

but I think the bitcoin value for next week will still be stable at $ 8000. and will approach $ 9000 in mid-May. $ 9000 is the safe point before the correction ends, and the correction will occur in June.

if seen from margins yesterday, bitcoin prices are now much better, BTC prices are now trading for around $ 8.892, up about 3-4 percent over a 24 hour period to time-press. The BTC dominance is up slightly from yesterday, now around 40.9 percent, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
it looks like the next few weeks, the bullish market trend will soon be seen clearly and the price of $ 10k will not be difficult to exceed.

And it all (spike in prices) "mysteriously" went up right after the deadline for U.S. Citizens to file their Federal tax returns passed. Hmmmmmm    Its gonna keep going up until that one clown trustee dumps more millions from the remnants of Mt. Gox onto the market.

There has still no correction?? Where have you been when the price suddenly falls from 19k to 10k then gradually falls below 6k. Isnt that a correction already? The safest point for the bull run is during the 3rd quarter of the year, since this has become the trend. But anything could happen, I could be wrong, like other speculations.

From 19K when the correction was made it came to 17K after then what we saw was all the result of withdrawal of BTC. Even at this point we see people happy who bought below 6k and will be selling at 9k/10k If it reached. Anyway it is good to see the price progressing towards five digits once again.

The 9k area is a tough nut to crack imo. If we should break it next significant resistance would be not 10k, but 11300-11500 imo.
Right now we are in a rising wedge (12hr chart), almost at the end of it. Bitcoin tends to break these chart pattern upwards although it is a bearish pattern. If we drop I think we will try to find support at ~8400 again. Will be interesting to watch how it is going to play out the next couple of days!

Bitcoin will approaches high anytime starting from now. I think in a few days will come btc price will hit $10k no one knows but I believe it will occur. So holding our btc can gain of profit when it will hit more than $10k.

I'm with you here on this one. 10k's always been the psychological mark but we already hovered above and below that, and coming out of this long slump, to break past 8k and 9k, would bring momentum all the way past 10. It'll depend on how long it can stay above 9k though. Right now at 8900 and looking a bit less steady than what it looked like when it smoothed past 8k.

It is were into nearest point of bitcoin to hit that price. $10k maybe in the coming weeks so I am positive it will hit anytime. Yes who knows bitcoin price is really amazing it is a good profit.

Well, it will take some time before we see the price touching more than ten thousand dollars, maybe it will take some weeks or even months to start seeing that on our portfolios. But with $9000 i am more than happy to be honest.

Technically, yes, there were some trades above $9k, but the price rapidly fell back and failed to stay above $9k. I do not consider it 'breaking'.

It will indeed be a difficult job to increase further, short term speaking. We have gone up quite a bit already, and now face serious resistance that basically requires the most out of the current market to break through. If we manage to maintain the $9000 level like we are maintaining the $8000 level right now, no doubt that we will eventually will break through $10,000 as well.

I however don't yet see any reason for much optimism. If we fall back because the market isn't ready yet for another push, which is very realistic, then we will likely fall back down a notch or two. The market already did more than what I expected, and that within a very small time frame, so let's see how much fuel there is left for now. I personally consider fair levels to be somewhere between $7500-$8000 levels. Aside from the sentiment, what has actually changed? Don't see much at all. The only thing that might be noteworthy, is that the frequent 1000BTC dumps haven't been seen for a while now. It's either that whales have completed their accumulation frenzy, or that they are preparing for another round once we don't break through the $9000 level comfortably and stay there.

actually, i waited for this since 3 days ago, and always pay attention to preev, but, until recently bitcoin has not been able to break the price of $ 9000. well, hopefully tomorrow, or this week the price has been above the price of $ 9000.

I fail to see the correlation between the World Cup in a couple of months time and the rise of bitcoin. Could you shed some light on this, or you are just making any random comment? In fact I would want to believe that the opposite would happen, if we are to take any lessons from the recent Chinese spring festival and the 2018 winter Olympics which happened in South Korea in February this year, at the height of bans in those regions, and the theory is that the respective governments needed the populations to be liquid and stimulate the economy by spending rather than keep their investments in bitcoins or other cryptos. This could be applied in Russia soon, if they want to do the same. So I would not confidently say that a major sporting event like the world cup will have a positive effect on on crypto.

Sooner or later it will probably hit the $10,000 before this month will end because this was predicted by the most of famous expert that by the 2nd quarter we will expect a bullish run of Bitcoin value and also if this will happen i believed that the big whales are now working to pump the value so all we need is to ride with them buy buying Bitcoin as much as we can then hold them and expect an another price pump by next month.

Just a little push to break that $9k mark, and this will climb up to $10k for next week maybe. The bitcoin market is getting stronger everyday as a good that that we are now back in business. Let's hope that we can make a good rally to push the price higher.

If Bitcoin price can breakout over 9200 it will head to 20.000 very fat. I placed my orders to buy more bitcoin around 9500$ and looks like its happening in this week.
Maybe we need some good news. I hope there will be no banning news in this week.

I never seen the price reach $9000 though because I don't check the market price very often. But if it did for a brief moment and then it fell back a bit, means only one thing, the mental barrier is so strong and we might need a couple more days to overcome  and finally surpassing it. This is just normal so I wouldn't be worry at all, unless we hit $9000 and then the price started to plummet again. There are still a lot of buyers around and it seems because they know they can't get the opportunity to purchased at cheap price if $9000 is broken and then marches toward 5 digits again. Let's see how it goes but I would say I'm confident that $9000 could be broken and at least goes to $9200 levels.

That's right. I suspect it could turn out to be similar to two earlier failed attempts to break $12.5k in February and March. There will be another attempt at $9k, let's see how it goes...

The day is still young over here while it could be younger in some other places. The price currently is above $8900 which means that chances are high that the $9k barrier might be broken today and my agreement is not just some wishful thinking but because alts also have been witnessing some huge appreciation in recent times. However, touching $9k dollar today is not what matters but maintaining the fort today and tomorrow because every benchmark witnessed in this new era of recovery is not strong enough to bank on in my opinion in that, the market is fragile at this point and anything could make every recovery come crumbling that will necessitate another long period of wait.

Right now it is working on the resistance point around $9000 and has been the past few days. If sometime this week it breaks through that that'll be a good sign. Could hit $10k in early May. It'll be a bumpy slow road back to $20k, but it'll get there eventually later this year. Going through this $9k resistance is the next step, after that hopefully by end of May it'll break through that winter double top around 11700 and maybe we'll see $12k to start June. Here's hoping!

It has been multiple times that Bitcoin has rejected going above 9,000$ and in my honest opinion BTC needs a pull back right now rather than attempt breaking the 9,200$ resistance level. With how BTC is rising and if  it continues to do so, it might make BTC go into a bad position as it is going up while the volume is going down which signifies that BTC even though has broken the downtrend channel is still vulnerable on going back in it. So any correction above 8,200$-8,500$ is what we need to see, or even lower than that.

As of today the price of bitcoin is at $8,935.03 on coinmarketcap and is approaching $9000 value, Even if we are feeling the resistance in getting there I really think we can make a pump up to $9000, I really don't want to rush things because it might be bad for the value of BTC to reach that certain value for now and the objective is to keep the pace in a slow and sure manner.

I do not think this news is important, the price of $ 9000 is temporarily priced and not a point of stability($6000, $8000, $10000, $12,000).

The price is now traded within an ascending channel with a type of resistance, The 100 SMA is above the longer-term 200 SMA which means that the trend of resistance to rise more.

The bottom of this channel is $ 8200 and correction levels at $ 8700 which means that the expected rally will reach the $ 9300 barrier.

$9000 is acting as a point of resistance, we will likely power through the barrier some point soon though. Resistance is futile, this is bitcoin :)

I have my doubts that is going to happen there is a very strong resistance at $9000, which means that many of the traders do not really believe that we can surpass the price and that is why they are selling and if reaching $9000 seems hard $10,000 is going to be an even greater psychological barrier, but I hope that you are right and that we see that price soon.

I wouldn't call $10k a psychological barrier, consider bitcoin nearly doubled that price just a few months ago. It might be another resistance point, but the psychological barrier of $10k evaporated when bitcoin crushed it in december. There won't be any "oh my god we broke $10k" moment this time, just another price point that may or may not hold a bit of resistance.

Obviously. This is one thing that I know the market will always do and that is to take its time. Even though some may be a bit trying to see how things can be pretty fast but for those who are very much conversant with how markets work, they would know that we will always have some swings in between before even thinking of getting to hit a certain spot. Let's just be hopeful we are able to get to hit the ball rolling in an upward trend.

Yes and bitcoin is hovering on the 9,000$ mark already giving those people who almost lost hope that bitcoin will always come back soon. I think bitcoin will also break the resistance early and might have a good result midway through this year.

No bitcoin have surpasses $9K mark and getting closer to the next psychological barrier of $9.5-$10K. This is not critical because for me it would be very tough. We have increased like $3K already from the last bottom of $6.5 so that's a lot. So I'm sure if we can sustained the growth at that levels.

But again, bitcoin price is very unpredictable, we don't know, maybe $9.5 is really the price wherein the bull run will begin. But the thing is, this growth doesn't look like artificial to me, it seems that there are renewed interest in the market right now that's why we have seen significant growth in the last couple of weeks.

You are right and I also not in favor of price growth. I want bitcoin to spread all over the world and all the people use it for their daily needs like their regular currency. I don’t think higher price is the success of bitcoin $9K, $20K or $30K, the success of bitcoin is this we use bitcoin in our local markets and restaurants. Soon we will see that time in the near future.

9500 usd was a strong resistance because of 200 days moving average. It also had worked as support and resistance before.

I believe bitcoin will break through this resistance after some days, and we will see around 12k-15k

it's true that what you say with bitcoin can achieve that value is a sign that investors and bitcoiner can be more excited to invest their money so that bitcoin can also be more increased value

The price falls to $9300 after breaking the $9500 mental barrier. But it doesn't mean that we are in for another downfall. It's a good sign that we might get above $9500 in the next couple of days because of those sell offs.

But $12K-$15K might take a bit longer to reach though. It will take another whales to put a lot of cash in the market, or another positive news that will persuade others to join and enter the picture.

The whole market is going down and BTC is also responding the same now it is just holding the $9100 barrier if it breaks then we can see more 400 to 500 correction. I think the market is reacting on the latest hack happened and got worried that hacker can dump the hacked coins in the market and before they can crash the traders are selling the coins and correcting the market price of almost all crypto currency coins.

11.5k-12.5k sounds more reasonable to me. There will be some profit taking at this level.
Just watch the daily chart. We got rejected 3 times before there so I think that's another tough nut to crack.

Volatility is the main feature of bitcoin and today the price is about $9k which is not the correction level. I think the correction level is $20K because it already reached to that level. The trend is towards growth in the price. The experts predict that till the end of this year the price will reach to $ 25K. $9K is now seems low price of bitcoin and I think the price is more resistance.

I think it's great for all our bits to know that Bitcoin can reach 9k half a year ago. I also think it will soon be going to this 10k. Those who hold it up to the end will get the benefit. Bitcoin will delete all records in the past this year. Be patient and wait.

BTC is hovering between the price range of 8700-8900 for a quite sometime now. Investors are shorting BTC over Bitmex which brought a decline of almost $1000 from the high of $9700. But the price managed to find support above $8600 and hasn't been broken yet. This is the good sign and directs towards bitcoin breaking $9k support back again and continuing its bull ride.

The situation right now  both scary and exciting. It is exciting because, after being pull down by the demand in the market,its price is now increasing while on the other hand, it still worries most of its users because Bitcoin is naturally volatile and backdrops are possible to happen in no time. That is why people are a bit undecided whether to sell already or to keep holding.

I don't see any point that bitcoin will run down by this time. Well I know it is volatile and yes it will be forever. But based on its timeline for the past 9-10 years, its been like this before. There is no assurance that it will reach 10k by  this coming quarter but I think and I believe that it is going to reach 9k. Just simply wait because the market continuously grows as it is. Let us just keep on spreading good news to make it possible to become higher and higher.

Are We Coming Near the Moon or Should We Not Be Nearer?
Bitcoin has become a serious competitor in the world as far as money is concerned. Reaching $ 9K per BTC is just one of these technology failures that has happened this year, and fans are messing things up. When bitcoin slowly creeps into $ 10,000 each BTC, people begin to question where the moon is really going to happen? $ 10K, $ 50K, $ 100K or maybe a million?

Well, it is still  little over 9K and a strong buying may push it to 10000$ and beyond. Its really good to see bitcoin moving in forward direction and all this is slow movement which means it is a natural movement with no pump dump etc. This is also good as people are now trusting bitcoins and they are again showing confidence in crypto currency. The overall market cap has also touched $400,000,000,000.

The bullish trend seems to be facing some resistance and now the price seems to be stabilized and if this resistance is also broken now by the bullish trend then I believe that $10k is easily reachable.

Bitcoin value is currently trading above  $9200 as at the time of this post and we have seeing that there was no serious correction within the weekend as it use to happen and may be a sign that the next move of Bitcoin value may hit $10,000 in the coming weeks.

It's likely to happen dude unless some announcement from another government to degrade crypto comes up again. Hopefully we get the entire second quarter to move this way to make up for a lackluster first three months.

I think the highest we got so far is $9500 before it went to $8700 before bouncing to $9200 at the time of this post. So I guess we need to get over the barrier of $9500 before attempting $10K. Good thing though is that we can't seen anything negative as of late, that's why the price keeps going up and I hope that it will continue so that we can finally see bitcoin getting into the 5 digits once more.

I don’t think there is an instance that bitcoin will get into sudden decline unless an outside factor will interfere with.

I actually have the good feeling that bitcoins might surpass $10k dollar so early this month because most of the cryptocurrency analyst are expecting fro the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollar before the year ends.

Bitcoin had already reached that mark and i expect that it will hit the 10,000$ mark anytime this month. It will be a very tough resistance for bitcoin to break but i believe that it's going to happen anyway because bitcoin is bound to set new mark as the bullish trend has started already.

Bitcoin has already reached $9k and now we are looking at $10k in the next month. Now the price is gradually and naturally increasing and will reach to $10k soon. Till the end of half of this year we are hopeful that the price will cross $11k. Now the time will tell us the fact about the future price. We can only predicts and imagine the coming price.

Much correction in the last month, that’s why the price is still around $9000. If there was no fall in the previous month, definitely the price would be more than $12k right now. But still we hope that in the next month increase in the price is confirmed due to high market growth. Now Ethereum is approaching to this level. Be patient to see the price at the end.

Right now the price of bitcoin is below $9000 now I do not expect the price to go that much lower, but people need to learn to not overreact to every single movement in the price of bitcoin, whenever the price is going down some people claim that bitcoin is going to crash and when the price is going up some other claim that the price is going to skyrocket and if you take the time to look at the market you'll see that most movements are not so extreme.

unfortunately if the bitcoin price is currently below the price of $ 9k. there may be several factors that cause this to happen. but, sooner or later, I believe the bitcoin price will be back above $ 9k, or even more. whether it's a quick rise or a draw, so we should take advantage of this moment.

I would say most would want it to go above and not below this market price if we will ever reach $10k just like everyone was saying back in April.

Yes the price of bitcoin is below $9k right now, well i think it's because of the correction after the pump in the last 2 weeks. I hope the price will not back to 8k again though, at least stable at $8.9k-$9k would be good. Luckly i already sold my coins last week, i think i will buy it again when the price hit $8.5k

Indeed, only time can really tell what will be the true future of Bitcoin market as we expected that it will hit $10,000 by this month of May but instead the price fall to below $9,000 again. So therefore the expected rise up is now false alarm that we should extend our patience then continue to wait and see.

Going to 6.8K, then to 5K, and, finally to 2.5 (real support liine).
And after that we have 2 options:
1)Slow grow to 5-6K
2)Going to 600-800, it will be the end))

You all dont read the news much do you.  The price was manipulated again by Mt. Gox trustee dumping 8200Btc on the market just like he did the dump about 2 months ago.  The price will recover...watch what happens by 9 or 10 days from today. ;)

Stability is very less in the value of Bitcoin because it is volatile and reacts rapidly with external conditions. The demand of Bitcoin does the change in its price and if the demand increases then the price will also reaches at the highest possible stage. If we are not taking it positive then the Bitcoin price will must fall and if we take care of it then there will be no fall recorded in the price.

Probably that is the core reason for the recent dump. We were all expecting prices to test $10k levels but unfortunately it went down up to ~$8k levels. It is a very big disappointment for me personally, still I am also hoping it will recover in one or two weeks.

Yes, the price again starts moving upward and the people hope that it will again touch the 10k soon. so BTC  touch 10k for that we have to wait because it's moving slowly upward but making some increment. The small increment combines to make the big increment that will be great for us so we should wait for the big increment that will happen soon.

I really laugh at those sometime who state that bitcoin is going to end or will be at 600-700 dollars. Either they are insane or they hate bitcoin because reality does not match with their statements at all. We all know that bitcoin is never ever going to be at a price less than 2000 dollars. It is bitcoin not some random altcoin which is struggling hard to make a name in the market and attract people.

We don't want it to stop but that's not how the market moves. There should be a balance of its about to stop, it has to move higher first and then slowly moving. I would prefer the slow movement as it approach back to $9,000 and higher because this gives us the confidence that if there's a slow progress, there will be no immediate dump. Unlike the fast progression that we are all happy but after that see to it the market will collapse in a surprising manner.

I think that's all the point is.. the price movements still provide a high chance to invest for the long term, and still suitable for trading, also inappropriate if we judge that it's weak and will not be making a profit. Anyhow.. Bitcoin is still in a period where its popularity is still high and talked about by many people to gain profit or other benefits.

its happening again as today were reaching $8,800 same what happened last april,and now begging to hit the target..

But i believe before weekend we will be seeing good approach from this coin as market starting to established movement..its just a matter of time to prove that were near moon again

I don't want to be expecting that much especially on a short term basis. The recent movement has really been defying a lot of expectations. Hopefully you're right but usually weekends aren't that good with this market

It was a good sign if the market price is going to reach $9k dollars but as of now it was down to $6k, lets keep on investing or hold our coins for now and wait for the price to grow again just like what happened last year.

I think it will reach to $9k in the next two months. The growth ratio is very slow but if it continues the same ratio, soon it will reach to $9k. I hope that till the end of this year the price will be more than $9k, because now the price is on the way up and it will not take long time to reach to that level if there will no corrections. September is for two months. In years I am here price always start to rise in that period, and as we approach new year price rise faster, it`s happen every year and maybe it will happen this year two.
Why not? With bitcoin anything is possible, I read many different predictions, some are very optimistic, and that ones I like to read more of course. I hope for 5 digits price in the end of the year, at least 10k dollars, and maybe we will see higher price.
