ASHGARD30 is an official account, I can personally verify that. The coins in that account are part of the premine.

You were informed why the coin movement and rightly so, The coins were  shifted to be sold on another exchange as the devs informed you, they did not do an ICO or a Token sale but put coins up to the exchange to sell so they were able to buy into more exchanges (Which is totally excepted)

But I'm curious, how to you know what price to sell the coins at?  Is it buried in this forum somewhere and I missed it?  I like the idea that unsold coins are burned, but what price are the coins sold at?  And what is being done with the funds raised from the selling of the coins?

Hopefully, further development work, marketing, hitting roadmap points, etc . .

Can someone on the team share a few words regarding this?

I am am investor, and genuinely curious because, if used right, these funds can be used to secure some great PR in the Twitter verse, as well as exchange listings, hiring more devs, etc . .

Update Aegeus Local Wallet to v1.2

Save Aegeus wallet files wallet.dat, wallet.config, and masternode.config to desktop or other easy to access location

Delete old Aegeus wallet and shortcuts

Download Aegeus wallet v1.2 from https://github.com/AegeusCoin/aegeus/releases/

Install Aegeus wallet v1.2 and open, once the wallet opens, close it-no need to wait for a sync.

Place your saved wallet.dat, wallet.config, and masternode.config files to the %appdata%. Roaming Folder AegeusCore
    You will want to replace the files so your previous wallet contents will become the new wallet v1.2 contents, and your MN info will transfer
    as well if that is applicable

Open your v1.2 wallet and wait for sync

I just can speak for myself.. personally i sold all masternodes i had because i did some research and i found that the team now seems ok and so available, but probably at the time of the burn they will leave the project. ( or maybe not, i'm just speaking with my opinion). I saw they are connected with other project that "scammed" people, every time with masternode coins. I CAN BE WRONG, AND SORRY TO THE TEAM IF I WILL BE WRONG. This is just my opinion and this is why i personally left the project :)

mandatory upgrade, hence Aegeus community should upgrade their wallet to this version.
Doing this might help contributing to prevent chainsplits and maintain staking rewards by staying and staking on the right chain.

That is the main reason why people of this community should update their wallets accordingly, to prevent any chainsplits in the future. It is just amazing that people become lazy when it comes to updating their wallet and then they will rant about it because they experienced problems about it. They didn't think that by updating their wallet, they are preventing themselves from problems moving forward.

Don't be lazy people. Update your wallets accordingly and everything will be fine.

Ok, but.. For what? I'm still getting my rewards :/

Ok, so I've installed the node on my VPS following the official instructions published on Github. The thing is that when I click "START ALL", it's saying that the node is started, but on the VPS console it keep saying: "Hot node, waiting for remote activation.". What's going on? After the update people can't even start the node, not just send coins.

Just wanted to check if you already solved your problem starting your MN? If not, you might want to consider asking help from their Discord channel as they are very helpful there any time of the day. All of my inquiries there are answered on a timely manner and I'm hoping that they could help you with your problem.

Read my post above. I lost coins and developers ignore me. Think well before investing in this project.

That is the problem. I sent the coins but I do not see the transaction. When I updated my wallet to the latest version, the transaction changed the status to the conflict. Repair the wallet does not help.

I wrote to them in the mail. They did not answer me. I do not want to contact them any more. Let this be my lesson. And also let this be a warning for new and existing investors. If you have a problem then the developers will not solve it and you will simply lose money.

This is actually quite disturbing and people will surely stay away from AEG when they read about this. Additional concern is that why are the developers not responding to his previous posts in this thread at all? Are they just not active in their own ANN thread anymore or they are just ignoring the post of this one fellow. Any problem from any kind of transaction should be considered serious and they should reply to it as soon as possible. We are talking about money of other people here being stuck in the blockchain without any help from the developers.  ???

We are active every day on Telegram and Discord, thats why people invented instant messengers, to have a more personal contact. We post our news only here in the most of the time.

Friend, it seems we can say goodbye to our coins. From what I could find out. The network has split and our coins have not disappeared, they are available but on another network. Return them will not work. Only if the developers compensate for them from their budget. In general, this is a fiasco.

It appears that reduced amount of reward that accompanied this upgrade didn't provide good price movement for AEG. Well, this is quite the trend right now with any MN coin. Everytime there's a reduce in amount of reward for a masternode coin, people tend to sell it off and this usually translates to heavy selloff in the coming hours and days.

Though, this upgrade is needed if we want to sustain the inflation rate of AEG. Yes, this has a negative effect short term but this will surely have a positive effect in the long run. This coin will be dead if the inflation rate of it will not controlled. One thing that the Dev team should provide is the daily/monthly updates to their investors so that their interest will not vanish for this coin.

I think this project is very reputable and can not afford to scam attendees because you have not hosted an ico. How does this project benefit from managing blockchain data? You should be more general about the project so that people can understand and do not misunderstand the purpose of the project

I agree 100% with your comment, and we can see that today trend is on the low, developers need to keep informed about all their activities to keep investors and reduce the price decrease . But in the long run we should see a price increase if the developers keep working in this coin

Staking rewards depends on how much Aegeus coin you have in the wallet. More coins, more frequent rewards for you.
I think with 3000+ coins you can expect daily rewards from staking

edit: With 1000 AEG in the wallet, can expect 9.99 coins daily, but not every day.

Where does AEG get the development funds to pay for exchanges, developers etc ?
I understand that each block makes 20 coins, 10 goes for Masternodes and 10 to Staking wallets . so how the project is sustained?

plus a new one, only masternode holders will be able to vote, what happened if I have a big staking wallet?

Why is the wallet window is not responsible? They have a default size, and I can't resize them. Just want to have more than one windows opened on my desktop, but now Aegeus wallet take 80% of my screen and I can't change it.

Just installed the updated wallet and d*mn, this is a very nice looking wallet. The color combination of white (silver?) and blue is quite pleasing to the eye. The UI itself looks very clean and very elegant. No useless logos or pictures. Good job to the person/team that designed this wallet.  ;)

I don't this kind of problem at all. Maybe that is a sole problem on your end (PC)? Tried resizing my wallet and didn't get any issue with it. The maximize button for its size is also functioning.

I can also to maximize windows, and I can extend it. His minimum size it's too big for me and I can't shrink it more

I think they have completed feature prototype, and it functions as seen in their live streaming. Hopefully this can run smoothly.

SO I have a MN with 5k collateral, I have more coins but not enough for a new MN, so I just leave the old Mn and will stake? or I need to move my coins to a new address for staking?

It has been a few weeks since we released the Public Beta, I hope many of you got to try it or at least watch J Milla's video demonstration so you can see it in action!

We thought we'd give you an update as to what our Dev's are turning their attention to now, well, they are working on creating the storage nodes.

What are Storage Nodes?

As you are aware the data will be stored on IPFS, the data is stored in many locations, a bit like Bitorrent. These are called Storage nodes, the devs are creating storage nodes that are tied into the Aegeus chain, that way people can pay\get paid for it.

The Aegeus storage node operates based on an incentive and a scoring system.  Storage nodes will be available for direct storage leasing, or the network as a whole can participate and share in a reward based on their reliability.

The user would pay for these services in Aegeus' native token - AEG.  Storage nodes would be paid in AEG as well.

The incentive to provide reliable data hosting is built-in and at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.

As the network grows and more nodes go live - redundancy increases exponentially.  This can provide a true 100% uptime guarantee on an unheard of level of certainty - whereas legacy providers can only offer this on a theoretical level with usually some compensation factored into an SLA if that uptime or should fall below a threshold in agreed terms.

When is the expected timeframe of rebranding your project? The current trading price is not looking good, do you think this rebranding will help escalate your price once available in exchanges? Also, the site of aegeus is not secure. Are you still going to develop that website?

You just cannot do this! I still have 11k AEG on my wallet. In these days people cannot track all the changes in crypto when they have vast portfolios! How am I supposed to convert mine now? There were barely any updates for a long ass time, and all of a sudden "hey, we are rebranding. If you dont convert within a month, we take your shit" what kind of mafia game is this?

you are right . First They do not update and suddenly make announcements to convert or they will dismiss the stake. This is not good.
