Hello, Can anyone tell me about NEO. I am about to invest on it. Whats your opinion about NEO's Future.

I would consider the case for investment for and against many times before you actually buy.  Also its reasonable to spread a buy in over a year, its hard to know when exactly is the best time and this method distributes risk.

Currently a bagholder of neo. I brought a lot on the recent high thinking that it will go up. It went in the opposite direction. I heard there are a lot of ico's that are coming in on neo platform. That might increase the price. Holding my coins.  ::)

I am a holder of NEO and there is no reason to not invest in NEO.
On the other hand they need to develop more features their tech is nice but speed and capacity needs to grow more.

NEO is promoted as Chinese Ethereum and sometimes as Ethereum Killer. So By 2018 there can be a tough competition between NEO and ethereum.

I don't think it will kill ethereum but it will come close to matching up with it. Ethereum has become very slow and bloated so a better alternative is NEO. It is already running great projects like THEKEY. Great investment this year, wish i could buy more.

i was ready to invet when the ICO launched , it was called antshares at that time but skipped it for 1 off a 100 shitprojects

since then i keep telling myself that it is to expensive to buy now , but where will the price ends , so better to have some before...

I am not against neo coins but in my own opinion, when i saw the statistics of the price in the market , there is no growth on it, if you are going to compare neo and ethereum then eth coins will be much better.

You should invest in NEO. It is obviously one of the most promising altcoins now as we are speaking and even better is that the coin is still quite cheap so you can get a good number of the coin to hold for the long run. The reason it seems like it is lagging now is because the whole market is in a bearish trend but once that passes you will see some good prices

Neo is a good and quite promising coin for investing. Some time ago, Neo was called the "second ETH from China".
At the same time, there are now a few more perspective and more high-tech blochains. For example, EOS, Stellar and others.
Therefore, personally, I would not make a strong emphasis on this coin. Not more than 2-3% of my investment portfolio.

Comparison and contrast over the different crypto standards will raise accuracy to your judgement.   I do think thats a good idea to not consider NEO purely by itself, I hope it can win a case for investment on its own merits and advantages vs alternatives.

Here is a table I just saw posted in another thread, original source is Chinese central government.  I did think China was against almost all crypto because they operate capital controls on their currency, this favours government over citizens.  However I might be wrong, its possible Chinese wants growth and is more involved then I thought.  If NEO is connected to China its best to check this detail

There are so many topics about NEO already. You should read them first. NEO is a really good cryptocurrency to invest in. You should know that effect of China to cryptocurrency world is really great while NEO is being supported by this country :). It's a really really good choice :)

You can invest in this time when price is really lower than its price on January. Compare with the number 2 in coinmarketcap now (Ethereum), NEO has many advantages like free fee and faster transaction, get Gas monthly by holding NEO, and cannot hard fork. It'll be a good investment for a long term.

I am also a bag holder of Neo and I am positive about Neo’s future. IMO, Neo is a strong coin that might be as successful as ETH.

Does anyone regularly stake in NEO ?   I have not heard about this previously, is that a regular return possible.   I'm generally very bullish in favour of staking network over the normal POW networks of various algorithms.
The reason why is efficiency and I believe success of various crypto standards will one day rely on the cheapest cost possible for the best value returned to users while remaining, secure, fast and easy to use.   POS fills all those, I do rate BLK stake system as superior but Im always willing to read on advantages to each.

NEO is very good for investment with good growth, but I agree with you that NEO could be approaching ethereum and not killing ethereum. Even that I think will not happen this year, NEO need a long time to be able to approach ethereum.

I think you can buy NEO. This coin is actively promoted in China and has many advantages. Now the price of NEO is quite favorable for purchase. China has a great influence on the crypto world, so I think that NEO will grow in the future.

ETH is too big a challenge for NEO as all of the projects are implementing ETH to distribute the coins and NEO really needs to have solid projects rather than speculation of getting more projects, the ICO scene is getting weaker by time and when the regulations are set, it will be difficult to start an ICO and be successful, it will eradicate scams but it will have some restrictions in the overall market situation.

For now, its not that late to invest in it.

For me i am also extremely bullish on NEO.. As you notice many ICOs are now considering using it rather than the traditional ERC-20 tolens.. And with its price today it is a good time to accumulate.

I also hold some NEO and I believe in the project. However, I feel like the cons aren't mentioned too much in this thread, so I will focus on some.
My first issue with NEO is that it is based in China. It really is a double-edged sword. On the one hand China could push NEO's adoption and development, on the other hand, China could force NEO into centralization.
This is actually my 2nd issue with NEO: There are only 13 Nodes in the NEO network. The number of nodes is promised to get higher in 2018, but this has not happened yet (correct me if I'm wrong). This leads to major centralization.
My third point of concern is the network outage in 2017. This shows some major flaws in the NEO organization, as a network outage is unacceptable, especially in cryptocurrencies.

As I said, I also hold some NEO and I'm optimistic on the future it, but we have to keep in mind that there are also major flaws in the system.

Actually NEO is a good asset but I have chosen ETH instead of NEO because for me ETH looks more positively for long term investment. I am sure that I will double my amount which I has invested in ETH but I am not sure about NEO and there are plenty of reasons why so but anyway NEO is a quite good asset.

Im am a holder of NEO, however i dont think
