If your purpose for investment mean for long term, it will be better to spend foe new ICO but it will need lot of research to ensure the project is feasible or not. Hello, I am also new in crypto and made my first high buys on ETH in january and in beggining of february when it was around 1100 dolars i think. Since then I made few deposits more and invest in some tokens that my friends recommended me to, one of them is ICX. It's good we have a lot of groups as sample on telegram which ones do the study and research on new coins instead of us so just search for it - and do the study by yourself too so you are 100% sure and be confident with it and in what you're investing.

First off, crypto is not a get rich scheme and you should always remember that. Yeah with a market movement like this, btc would be your best bet. Bch has hyped out last year  and though i think it can legitimately make money for you, it's below btc and eth.

Yes, they are depending upon other people to choose/find the opportunity but the hidden treasures are not being referred by this community most of the times, people will refer what they are holding or what they have heard.

As you are a new comer to in this field, it depends on how long you can hold your investment. It is always better to invest in top 10-15 coins in CMC as a new comer. Also there are a lot of other projects in the market with real use cases, strong teams, already supported clients etc. Better to invest such coins like WAN, ICX, WABI. There are a lot of coins in the market & better to DYOR as well. Most valuable trading theory is HOLD. Since it takes time & results comes late most are afraid to invest but always gains are higher with long holding crypto assets. This happened in the past & Keep in mind that in Crypto history repeat again.

I don't think that we can say that certain cryptocurrency is the best investment right now. In my opinion if you really want to invest in cryptocurrencies (but I think that now time to short), it is better to form portfolio mostly from TOP 20 and from risky another assets (5-10% from main portfolio).

While I agree that bitcoin is without a doubt one of the best investments, if not the best investment, that we have in this market at the same time we should not close our eyes to other options, even with the market as it this there are going to be icos that are going to become very successful in the next year and many people are going to lament not investing in them when they had the chance, so do not be like those people and keep your eyes open in case you see a great opportunity to invest.

I still prefer with bitcoin as my best investment in cryptocurrency because bitcoin is the main coin for me but besides of bitcoin, I have the other coins as my next investment.
