I really want to cry now. I joined translation campaign of MVL project and have 200 000 token. But when distribiuting it to me they mistake send it to someone wallet: 0xd5361F0f1a72B2129F26D814599041E62Ca8e2a7 MVL.

I don't know how can she faked me to give her wallet to them, i really sad. How can i get back my token? I work really hard and someone took all my result, you guys can't understand my feeling know. I hope you guys can give me an advice. Thank you so much.

you can't back your token because it has been spent and the scammer has sold all of your MVL token. I guess there is a possibility the scammer was PMing the team directly to change your wallet address with his address. This has already happened so many times and it looks like MVL bounty is lack of the transparency.

No one can change your wallet address except yourself, by send a pm to their bounty mangager in bitcointalk. It's an experience to you, when you received an offer for translation work, check carefully that it's you in the spreadsheet, and start your work after that.

But the MVL team is also at fault here for being so unprofessional with their bounty procedures; they should have never changed the Wallet address so easily without double and

triple verifying first; exactly because of scams like these most Bounty managers don't even allow for any alterations on the recipient's wallet...

It's an irreversible transaction hence you can't take it back and I think you should be taking your fight to MVL because they actually have not paid you for the job you did for them.
MVL should take responsibility for the stolen tokens unless you're complicit in the change of your wallet address.
My advice is for you to contact MVL.

nothing you can do to get it back just talk to the user recieve it and say that the token send to him is your payment and accidentally sent in that address.Also check the spreadsheet if what addresss  is you filled up there , if the address is right then its not your fault but the manager who send it.

hello mate, first of all try to massage him/her that it should be sent back to you, you work for that and its not fair that he/she will just get your token.  if he/she doesn't reply for your massage then try to contact the bounty manager of the said campaign to report the incident, and if ever you know his/her account on bitcointalk forum give him/her an negative trust. but im sorry to hear that someone's claim your reward.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It is so sad because I know what you felt when you got nothing after the hardwork. But, that is how the scammers do. They always make the fake accounts and stole our rewards. be patient, the tokens cannot be back to you. But I'm sure that you can get other bigger rewards from the other projects.

You can not do that because the token hasbeen sent, just use this case as your experience and remember to check your wallet address in the spreadsheet before start reward distribution.

I'm sorry about your loss. There's nothing you can do to get the token back as it has been sent. This is proof that MVL bounty campaign is lack of transparency. Try to talk to the team/bounty manager about your issue and hope the team can understand and give you compensation. It's their fault so they should responsible for this.

I contacted bounty manager but they said they announced on telegram group before distributing. My fault when i didn't check it but i thought that they'll confirm by email because i work with them by email. I want to check the spreadsheet again but MVL project deleted it. I contacted with person take my token too, but she didn't reply. I feel the world is really scary.

I don't see this kind of thing possible with blockchain, taking back. Unless the developer of the blockchain decided to fork it for you or they sending you new amount

This is a low level error and should be the responsibility of the bounty manager.
This is why most professional bounty managers are reluctant to change the ETH address at present, so they may face various fraud problems.

I checked the address and I can't see a token that has 200,000 in number. The only token that is close to that number is 114,514 INM.

Sadly there's no way for you to retrieve those stolen tokens unless the manager will send you the reward in the same number.

This has happened many times already. People who can't work just go ahead and scam people working so hard for their money. That's why if you work for bounties make sure you double check your addresses. What they do is change the address you put in the sheets. They act as of you are the one telling the manager or the mods and then they change it and you don't get anything. That's whybyou always have to check the spreadsheets for bounties prior to distribution of tokens.

It is very unfortunate but such actions happen many times on the spreadsheets of bounty campaigns. You will always find people raising a concern in their groups about someone using another parson's information and changing just the wallet address to scam the other person. I will say that next time, be extra careful and check severally that there is no duplicate of your information on the spreadsheet.

You should report to the managers and if there is no presumption you can report to the moderators in this forum and if your report is not responded then be patient and look for new projects that can pay you.

This is most likely what could have happened, this is the reason one has to follow the telegram group of the bounty they are working for because messages that are important come there but I think they send messages too through the thread before distribution.

I think bounty managers should only change wallet address sent through thread except the account can be hacked to be an imposter.

hmm smell fishy for me. They need to public the spreadsheet  even the campaign is finish to be able to see if they distribute exact amount of token. The real question worriying me is how they change your address? And how other people can claim it?

To my knowledge, the token that has been distributed to the wallet can not be undone, I think this is a feature that is not owned by the cryptocurrency wallet, I hope cryptocurrency continues to increase and adds a recall feature, and on your issue I think this is a fraud or a crime by the method new, this is a lesson for others.

Unfortunately the transaction which have done cann't be roll back. You cant take back your money. Because of the nature of the blockchain and cryptography, there is no way to reverse transactions. That's is the actual blockchain's point.
You cant do anything if someone already cheated on your wallet. What you can do just make new other wallet and keep it safe.

Once the token has been sent it can't be reversed. Crypto transactions are irreversible so I guess you are aware of that but there's one thing that makes me curious. How did that guy used to changed your receiving address?

Bounty manager must answer to you how that happened that they changed your eth address. Only after it will be easy to understand who is responsible for that. If they changed wallet without you, they must pay, if you were hacked, this is only your problem IMHO. Just need better protection to avoid such situation in future. Really sorry for your situation, this is very sad when you weren't paid for a job.

This is so saddened! I don't think it can be received back, the token is gone already. The scam actually pm the manager to change your wallet address to his own wallet, that means the password to your forum account is exposed, I'll rather you stop using it for bounty campaigns.

So sad my friend it can take you back. Unless you know that person who own that address . The only way to get your token is pm the admin of the bounty. Then tell him that they send th wrong address. Maybe they will give you again. Because its not your fault. Its there fault

I don't know. I think they should keep the spreadsheet too but the fact is they deleted it so i can't see anything, they said i filled the form with that wallet, while this is the first time i see that address. I think i should face with the truth that i lost my 200 000 MVL token.

Yes, so sad but after everything you can only blame yourself, when translating their ANN thread you can track bounty process, and when bounty ended, you need to check again your stake and register address, pm BM if you detected something unusual.
It is a costly but necessary lesson.

I think that you should contact to them and explain everything. I think that it is possible to solve your trouble. I hope that your contractors are honest and they will help you to solve your problem.

You must contact that person to give it back to you. If not, then try to convince the team to give your token because it was not your wallet whom they sent your reward. Sometimes that happen but team should be careful in giving the reward to right wallet.

It was not cheap numbers you had tokens. It was not easy to forget. It takes time to recover from your loss. Maybe next time you should check your wallet and always check your wallet so that your hard work will not end nothing.

If the fault is in theri part, then you may appeal to give your token. But if the fault is in you, you must contact the person who receive the tokens and ask to give it back to you.

Same to me. I am so sorry abou this but i could not help you. Actually the payment or the transaction which already done can not be reversed again so this is really bad for you but we can not do anything. I hope you can contavt the people they send and try to deal with him/her.

My god, I feel sorry for your loss mate. The ones to blame there is the MVL bounty manager.Its his fault not double-checking the MEW address and individual account of his participants. They are right, you cant reverse anymore the ethereum transaction but you can still pm the impostor impersonating you to get back your reward which is not for her. Then if she will not give it back to you then report to admins and moderator here about the incident to block this impersonator.

Unfortunately, there is no way of retrieving the sent token. Imagine it as your money being transferred to a different bank account. The only thing that you can do is to undergo the process of confirming if its your fault or if its MVL's fault. Once confirmed, you can contact MVL and file for a dispute. The chances are slim but better do something than nothing. Believe me, I know how it feels to work and get nothing. Don't lose hope and always move forward. There are tons of bounties out there.

take the token depends on the project of his bounty campaign, if the campaign project is successful we will definitely receive the tokens we should have, if not in our WALLET, we have to wait, maybe the sales have not reached the target.

I have the same experience. I lost all my tokens in one of the campaign I joined. So sad it is impossible to take it back. It is one risk to face that hackers are everywhere. That is why everytime , check your address in the spreadsheet from time to time specially when the bounty is about to end.

Seems that you've been hacked or it's a mistake either from your part of from the bounty manager, though the first step should be directly send pm to the manager and talk to them properly about your concerned, as they are the only people that can really help you, that mistake if ever can be review by the team and if there's no chance that someone asked to change you wallet address then they can take some considerations but if there's a request happen to change then you need to take this as a lesson path to be more extra careful next time.

Just cry, it helps reduced emotional stress. Base on my understanding in your post, it's a mistake from the team or the manager. You should try to contact them.


Maybe the scammer sent a personal message to the team or the manager in telegram and incidentally the team or the manager were not very strict about changing of address. Many bounty manager in this forum required bounty participants to send them a personal message here in bitcointalk when they want to change address. Also forget about your token the scammer won't give it back to you. My advice is to move-on.

You can't get the token back in any way. Its the work of the scammers, the scammer sent a message to the bounty manager on telegram in order to change your address to their own. Whenever scammers get tokens from you there is no way to get it back.

In my view, No one can change the address of your wallet except yourself. transactions that have been done cannot be canceled. You cannot take back your money. Because of the nature of the blockchain.dan you also can not do anything if someone has betrayed your wallet. with this you should be more careful and do not give your wallet and anyone. i think it is very dangerous for you.

I recently came to know that there is recall() function in Ethereum. Read somewhere that Pchain followed the same function to recall tokens held by blacklisted participants during crowdsale.

I checked it but there're no message to MVL bounty manager. I think she filled the recheck form. I contacted with bounty manager to have spreadsheet but they didn't reply. I think it's over. @Arsaen

Oh no! Go to hell scammer.That was very disappointing, the bounty manager and the mvl team should take the responsibility. This is an issue that already been here before and so we can expect that the manager and the team knows already how to deal this to avoid but they fail. I think the next time you please find some times to check the spreadsheet regularly to see if your wallet is still the same.

I can't see the original view of their spreadsheet. It was now modified. Is the sheet includes your ETH address? If yes then the bounty manager itself must be held responsible to that. That is a big case!

And no way they will just allow changes thru PM by somebody. Did you hear an answer from them why the heck they changed your receiving address? What they told you?

Did you try to write the bounty manager and to explain a situation? I so understand, these are just tricks of scammers. Someone has deliberately replaced your wallet address with the, so?

It is gone forever, there is no way you can reverse the transaction. But I think the team was negligence to allow someone to steal your token. Make a complain to the team with prove and if they can consider you with some compensation.

I think the answer is no, because the blockchain transaction cannot be reversed, so when the project side transfers the token to a fraudulent account, it means you lose the money.

In the orginal spreadsheet, ETH wallet wasn't shown, so i couldn't check if it was right or wrong, then the final spreadsheet was deleted before i knew about it so i don't know if my wallet was right or wrong too. I contacted to bounty manager to have 2 spreadsheet but they didn't reply. I even don't know clearly about my case, it's my fault when i didn't check the spreadsheet but i think bounty manager have responsibility too for not giving me clearly detail, i'm so frustrated about them. @aresha

No you cannot. Transactions on the blockchain is immutable and non reversible except if the parties involved decide to reverse it. Just learn from this and after making your bounty submission, do well to dollow up with the spreadsheet and see if everything is right with your submission.

I don't understand, mvl coin is not on her address. Maybe she moved it already. Try contacting the bounty manager but I doubt if you can get your tokens again.

Did you try to contact support? What was the result. Try to sort out the support to the last, if you did not change your ETH address yourself. Let them give you a report on all the changes and, if they make a mistake, let them transfer the same amount to your wallet.

I do not know, you try to contact bounty manager, and told what happened to them, hopefully they understand your situation, next time be careful and pay attention to your work well, hopefully it will not happen again.

Have you reported this incident to the official team? If it was a team error because of an incorrect address, I think it is impossible and certainly, the official team will replace it. My advice, before the spreadsheet is closed you should check your data and your wallet, otherwise this will happen to you. I'm very sorry for you, but you can not return your tokens back, recently a lot of scammers have that are registered in bounty campaigns using ours account names.

This transaction process is irreversible. You gave the wrong wallet to the merchant who paid. Such a transaction cannot be returned. I am sympathetic to your experience, but there is nothing I can do!

 sorry to say that but I believe that chances of getting your tokenr are close to zero, so just forget about that and try to continue your work more carefully
