in terms of technology, I believe the blockchain is proving itself and we can see the proofs on every step. In terms of each projects management, that really depends on project to project basis.

The countries are not against the digital currency but its central bank it's against the digital currency. Remember this only contribute the effort that you afford to lose it. This must be apllied for anything. Because the possibility for yourself to get risk is always there. But we are talking about technology

Blockchain and cryptocurrency could become one of the most important innovations of this generation but as to how they can be applied then that is a different story. Right now, the technology has not yet matured since it is still young and there will be 'blood' along the way as we are moving to make it more mature and more fit to what the marketplace has been demanding. Things will boil down to applications and this is where we have to be careful because this technology is open to anyone including those people who have bad intentions or the scammer, the hackers, the phishers. Can we trust the technology? Yes, definitely but I can not say that to the many players or participants using the same technology. We have to do our due diligence on this case.

It is possible to trust crypto-currencies and it is now really a very important factor that is very important in real life, no matter how much they want to avoid it, people still have to be trusted, this factor can be replaced only by smart contracts.

Yes, there is a lot of reasons we can trust cryptocurrencies or digital currencies. Cryptocurrency will still improve in the next few years and the technology will continue to upgrade like the modern banks and currencies. There are a lot of news regarding scams or account breaching because the people don't know how to take care of their funds.

Cryptocurrency and digital currency both are same the only difference is we should use to physical also but nowadays technology is more important and it will grow fastly so Crypto is current generation trend but some countries are not accepting this technology because of Economic status is not convenient to Crypto. So as soon as possible Crypto and fiat currency is mingle with each other automatically peoples are trusted this platform.

Lets first agree that the action of one person using any tool do not define this same tool, and is only a definition of this person actions . For example if someone steal 1 dollar from you, you can not simply go blame the dollar itself, but you can for user blame yourself for not hide it well, keep it in save place, and ect... . Or you can even blame the person who stole from you because simply he is a thief. And therefor blame crypto currency or label it as untrusted is not fair . Every problem or flow crypto currency had, have or will have is simply a result of a bad decision, action, or simply a bad coding by  developers .

Bitcoin is not sufficiently efficient regarding?

If you could see, these entities are taking actions because they are affected. They strike because cryptocurrency is getting in their way such as the lowering of bank money.
Cryptocurrency is not at fault when it comes to these scam victims. They were just used as a medium. If cryptocurrency is at fault then fiat should be the mastermind ::)

I trust cryptocurrency more than I could trust government when it comes to this type of issue.

Can we trust the crypto ecosystem?
There are two ways to understand your question:

1. Can we trust the underlying technology?
2. Can we trust the people around it?

The answer to question 1 is yes. In fact, you don't have to trust it. It is made to be trustless by default, provided that the code is clean from bugs to a reasonable degree. Bitcoin has been demonstrating this trustless functionality almost 10 years now. That being said, there are a lot of shit coins out there, with questionable projects and questionable codes. This conclusion many not apply to them.

The answer to question 2 is probably not. Greed often drives people, even prominent individuals from the crypto community. We have seen this over the years, and we will see this in the future as well. But, as long as the majority people in the crypto community are willing to take care of the system, then yes, you can trust crypto. Or should I say,  you can trust Bitcoin.

Everyone have some problem understanding the crypto currency digital transaction, we encounter issue that sometimes we can not understand, learn more, read more, know the in and out about the crypto currency trading market. maybe thru learning the system of digital transaction we can develop not only trust but the level of confidence about crytpo. The risk in investment is always come with the amount of investment we put in.

The first thing is, scam is everywhere, whether it is virtual currencies or whether it fiat or even gold. The fakness is created everywhere by the bad community in way such that they will lure the people out of their greed and will see their own benefits in it.

I think we can not stop such scams from happening. Now when it comes to the bitcoin then everyone thinks about it as major issue because bitcoin is something that’s easy to blame on due to its new advancement and ease of use. We can’t help it.

Whether we should trust it or not upto you.

Let's put this question the other way around? Can you trust governments and their fiat money? We currently live in reality when governments have a monopoly over money supply. If they boost inflation, they basically tax you for the future as the same amount of money you held would be worth less in a period of time because of that.

that the blockchain technology will become revolutionary once it has achieved the point where everything is as efficient as it is required by the modern world, time will tell and Im sure that dutch bank is wrong

Trash altcoin is inevitable because greediness always on the front line when raising an ICO or even an trading platform. Cryptocurrency was negatively used by those person who wanted to get an easy money which really is a big problem by many who are doing their business in this industry. The trust on crypto is still here and will be here no matter what happen because it carries the future of online transaction.

we all already know that crypto has not been fully accepted in every country and banking is strongly opposed to the development of today's crypto.

it is very difficult to make people believe, therefore we must be patient and continue to struggle to provide education to the all circle of society about crypto.

To trust or not - business of everyone. Someone wants to trust rotten banking systems and government currencies, which are stuffed with taxes and excises. If he likes to give his money to fat politicians and bankers - please. I don't wonder if cryptocurrency can be trusted. I believe that in the future this new system will change the world and all these fat people profiting from other people will be left with nothing. Somewhere under the bridge, for example.

Crypto currency as digital money and its blockchein technology can be trusted and needed, as it is a reliable and promising direction of financial settlements. However, anything can happen with specific types of crypto currency. Therefore, they should be treated as a risky investment of their means. Almost any crypto currency can disappear from the market with time for many reasons.

The truth is that it's really hard to trust it sometimes because of the inconsistent price but you should make your research well in order to personally convince yourself in what you want to embark or invest in. No business or investment is 100% risk free and so does cryptocurrency. When investing in cryptocurrency,  it is your faith and patience that keeps you moving.

May others thinks negativity about crypto cause they just think that it could only ruin our economic system. But they are wrong with that, only it happens today that market volatility goes high which could made people to complain of losing their money due to unpredicted market trend. If such scenarios will be  control, definitely more people will engage and trust crypto.

There are a lot of people who have differences of opinion, but I think it is normal. For all of us who believe in bitcoin our duty is to continue to support Bitcoin and apply crypto in our daily lives.

We are living in a digital era, which has the paradox of both government control that is expanding, and allowing freedom of the individual to communicate arrangements and ideas of value as. Blockchain technology and Cryptocurrencies, like most things, can be utilized for evil or great. They could help make life harder, although they can help to make life more easy. They're disruptive technology in the stream and in the face of banking, issuance, and control of money. They have become an increasing part of our society. What we choose to do with them is to be seen.

in my own personal opinion the ones running the whole economic system of each country are the banks, and i cannot also agree that crypto is not trustworthy. crypto is indeed trustworthy and the ones mostly that are against crypto are the banks, of course people will doubt crypto when someone said it is banned because it is not trustworthy right? But we are being optimist that someday it will be accepted fully.

The crypto community is growing annually. Trust depends on the person. As you can see there are lot of investors in the crypto world and has been profiting from it through mining, trading, and other ways possible to earn crypto. There are many lives that were changed due to this awesome innovation so if you look at the bigger picture and stay away from those FUD and negativities as a crypto enthusiast you will really benefit from it depending on how you are going to use the knowledge that you accumulated from this forum.
Personally, I do trust the crypto ecosystem and I do believe in its technology so I don't really care about those FUDs and black propagandas about crypto being a bubble.

The more this banking officials will implement such directives to all branches then more users of crypto will have to find a direct link and much easier way to cash out and cashing in. What does not help is that monitoring of digital currency is missing. That makes the bitcoin unpredictable, volatile and risky. Due to the deregulated network of cryptocurrency, the virtual currency falls under no guarantee scheme or supervision. One unregulated money is not insured by the bank or an insurer. Whoever gets an attacker can just lose his entire fortune.
At the same time, the decentralized character of the currency is also its strength. Precisely because a cryptocurrency is stateless, its value is independent of the economic policy in a country. Extreme devaluations are not possible.

Yes you can trust blockcahin technology, which is amazing and will bring out reforms. But cryptocurrency is at least at this point of time becoming only the platform for some other things, see, money laundering, ways to collect money etc, as they are not implementing their main purpose of what it is established for. In conclusion, you can partly believe in cryptocurrency.

Your belief depends, of course, on what you expect. Because it will be very difficult for crypto to replace the current financial system, unless crypto will be controlled by the government. So it would be great if crypto would stay like this until at least there is a more perfect technology.

I think it's fair that many parties do not support crypto, at least for now, because of course they do not have much room to control it, or use it. But of course we have to believe in Blockchain, at least we realize that its potential is still very large.

Nine years since the birth of Bitcoin, central banks around the world are increasingly recognizing the potential upsides and downsides of digital currencies. The guardians of the global economy have two sets of issues to address. First is what to do, if anything, about the growth of the private cryptocurrencies that are grabbing more and more attention for a host of reasons: security concerns after a $500 million exchange hack in Japan, volatile price moves and -- in the case of Bitcoin, at least -- their introduction on regulated derivatives exchanges. The second question is whether to issue official versions.

Of course people pay a crypto because of its potential. But a potential will not be interesting enough without a mystery. Crypto has a high volatility, and this is because of the mystery that is in it. Although there is no guarantee, but the community always grows bigger every year, and that is a major factor for the growth of an ecosystem.

Cryptocurrency is a technology for making digital currencies. This technology uses cryptography for security that makes it impossible to forge. The value of the cryptocurrencys price is largely determined by the purchasing power and selling of this technology user. Since bitcoin and Altcoin can be converted into the legitimate currency of all countries, that is one of the most logical reasons I think. Everyone will want the best to get all the expectations in his life, looking for bitcoin is very easy and we do not enslave the time or management as in the actual company. How bitcoin so appreciates our work with fantastic pay, does not seem to be a good job in the real world.

In particular the role of institutional trust in transactions has differences that are explored and new constructs are suggested. These are incorporated into a new digital currency enabled transactions trust model.
A model of online trust is considered to be valid in this different transaction context but the significance of each construct changes and some extensions are necessary.

Yes. It is possible to say that digital money was born as an electronic payment revolution when its advantages were enormous:
Bitcoin can be transferred directly from one person to another on the internet without a bank or clearing house, which means that the transaction fee is greatly reduced. You can use them everywhere in the world, your account can not be frozen. And there is no prerequisite or arbitrary limitation. Let's see how it works!
- Digital money is created entirely on the internet, by anyone running a free application called "bitcoin digger." In order to dig a bitcoin, miners must perform a workload with a degree of difficulty that the network automatically changes so that the number of bitcoins produced is maintained at predictable and limited rates.
- Bitcoin is stored in an electronic wallet similar to when you use online banking. When transferring bitcoin, you need an electronic signature. After a few minutes, the transaction will be checked by a miner and stored permanently, anonymously on the network.
- The bitcoin software is completely open source, so everyone can read the code. Bitcoin has changed the financial industry, much like the way webs make paper changes. When everyone enters the global market, great ideas will be produced.

I think it can, because in fact, blockchain technology allows us to expand borders in terms of money transfers around the world, making the whole process transparent and decentralized. As for the control of the crypto currency by the state, it is natural that many people do not like this technology, since it undermines the whole banking system, which has been developed over the years. But to deny cryptocurrencies does not make sense, they came to our world and will not go anywhere from it. This is my personal opinion.

There are millions of people already trusted on the digital currency and making good progress in it. Those who don't understand the concept and the technology behind it still thinks of believing and speaks negative about crypto currency market due to their less awareness on crypto currency. I would say that the cryptocurrency is the future currency and it will rule the world very soon replacing the traditional paper currency, there is no need for some one don't understand about it to run the cryptocurrency market since there are enough people and countries joined together for the development of mass and self with this cryptocurrency.

However, believing is your personal opinion about anything but do due diligence always and don't go with what people talk about it negative or positive.

More than raise questions of trust, i think we need to better educate ourselves, creating an awareness and a sound platform, for a technology that is ready to change our working systems, with our help, towards smoother, secure, transparent transactions in future.
Yes, the issue of trust is even the last thing anyone who is considering this space should be thinking about. Everyone will have a reason as to why they are being a part of this space but those who make better decisions usually equip themselves with great knowledge first to be able to make the best decisions even when considering investing into anything.

As time goes on, the whole issue with not knowing what the future holds for the crypto world would subside but that time, a lot would have missed the train. We should have the habit of trusting a real concept rather than believing into "mere jokes". In the past, many people who have invested into improper coins have learned their lessons and we should not do the same type of mistakes.

I do think we can trust crypto currencies and block chain. I believe it is going to be big in the future. However, there are many projects around and we need to do our research before investing. This is to prevent us from falling for any scam projects.
The way you actually generalized the first statement could actually mislead someone into thinking you should not even trust at all. However, you are right! There is a lot to trust when it comes to the cryptocurrency space however, but that balls down on what exactly you are trusting since among the good eggs, there are actually some bad eggs as well, and you really want to be doing a thorough research before investing into anything in this space.

I won't say you should entrust it entirely but you should do your own research. Crypto currency just like every investments has its associated risks.
Yeah, it is even imperative to never get into the cryptocurrency space without proper understanding and knowledge of the market, most especially when it comes to volatility. With a very good knowledge of capital management, investment and little bit of trading, any investor will be able to make very good decisions and making huge profits while some are finding out if they should trust the space or not.

Crypto currency is a neutral phenomenon, which can not be looked at as something "bad" or something "good." Only users can be characterized. If you are in the clutches of fraudsters - it's your fault, not a crypto currency error. Therefore, it is impossible to give a concrete answer to the question "Is it possible to believe crypto currency".  ::) ::) ::)

Yes, but do your research before investing.

There are hundreds of tokens, ICOs, etc. Many of them are transparent, with a great team and technology, but issues show up sometimes.

From what I've seen, there are 2 main problems:

1) Absolute scam
2) Security issues

However, new things are coming up. Security Token Offerings represent a new way of Crypto. For example, they can be directly tied up with the company's equity, and provide dividends to token holders and investors.

So, just keep an eye on new things and you will understand that crypto and blockchain are underestimated and we didn't see its full potential.

I think you should trust it but not fully because you need to be aware of it sometimes. Most every fan of cryptocurrency will tell you that you can have complete ‘trust’ in it because it is based on blockchain technology which has ‘no central authority’, like a government, behind it. I am going to explain why these people are ignorant and delusional. The attributes of ‘no central authority’ and ‘trust’ are not the same and furthermore are only linked together in NON-cryptocurrency uses of blockchain. Also, the cryptocurrency fans are focusing on the veins of a leaf when they talk about these attributes as being the most important.

Asking, "Can I trust crypto / digital currencies?" is like asking, "Can I trust the internet?"
The answer would be yes and no.

Certainly, just like the internet, there are things that can screw you over but there are a vast more things that are beneficial.
But, beyond good or bad or trust or no trust, the internet is just a fact of life and is essential.

That is how crypto will be, it really is that revolutionary.

You need to realize, that btc was never considered a digital currency when it first started.
It was seen as a way to ensure trustless p2p interactions that can't be hacked.
It's brilliant in it's simplicity.
It allows you to transact directly with someone else without having to go through any middlemen.
It wasn't until the notorious first btc purchase was made (a pizza lol) that it started being seen as a currency.

I guess whatever you have written is just characteristic of the different coins and it doesnt mean anything with your question @OP

If you really want to trust the digital currency then do it because its your personal instinct and things can turn out to be best for you if you work here, gain some knowledge about it and spread the word about it.

You will find how generous the crypto currencies are with you.

It does not matter what they do, what are their characters are, what matters is how you look at them and how make them useful by yourself.

Different people have different views and perspectives towards a subject. Same logic applies here. For me, its totally safe and I do believe in crypto, you have to decide whether its good enough for you to trust it or not.

Trust issues really varies to each individuals perspective and goal in life. What you believe in and what you want to achieve in life may not be the same or as good as your brother or sister sees it to be. It all depends on your capability to see risk as an opportunity to earn and at the same time learn.

Blockchain has proven itself many times and it never failed me. There are delayed transactions but as long as its sent, I don't have problems with it. It will be unfair if I lose my trust just because some people said that blockchain or crypto are not to be trusted. Also, I owe a lot to crypto because financial situation improved by the time I learned how to earn on crypto.

The risk is there and if you know that you can tolerate the risk and yet you believe on crypto then you may trust it but you should know the consequence. And also know that the nothing is certain and all of these are speculations and it's up to you if you'll leave or live it.

No one force us to believe cryptos and the fact remains that cryptos are just being used by people to dirty deeds hence crypto itself is impeccable.

If you visit other forums, you can read a lot of negative reviews about the crypto currency. I believe, because many people do not have a clue what this currency is. Especially people of the older generation who trust only paper money.

You can trust cryptocurrency because it is a very useful technology that can provide productive results. What you cannot trust is the person who use it in bad intention. It is like fiat currency, you cannot say that fiat currency is bad because it all depends on who are using it.

It's almost 10 years and cryptocurrencies are getting popularity day by day. Although that popularity is being gained not as a currency rather an investment option. There is nothing to unbelieve cryptocurrency cause those are currencies like USD, EURO, RUPEE etc. in most case, better than our traditional currencies.

More digital banks are also emerging and there are also partnerships with some major banks internationally, all this indicates that there is too much trust in digital currencies.

Cryptos still need more time to grow before we can fully trust them, but for no, the market is way too volatile for you to actually put your trust in it so the answer is not. Which is why people are advised to only put money that they are willing to lose into the market, anything other than that is way too risky and you might end up regretting it

Of course! Specifically because of all of these things happening.
You should be worried if no regulations and civil actions were taken.

The fact is, crypto was the wild west for many many years.
It wasnt well known until just last year.
Now, governments and organizations are scrambling to make sense of it and to regulate it.
It may seem chaotic, but through this we will reach stability.

As far as crypto itself, you can't ever say that you can't trust crypto.
AFter all, it is just a piece of technology.
It is always the users behind that technology that turn it into a scam or make it legitimate.
So I would be more worried on if you can trust people.

You can trust them but you have to be smart. You cannot entirely trust the coins and that is where the smarts come in. When you are investing you make sure that you put your money into the best coins so that way you can be sure that there are always going to be investors in the coins and it is always going to have value. Then you need to make sure that you are diversifying to mitigate losses

Distrust is what happened with all other innovations that took place during the history of humanity. First electric bulbs in the 19th century were perceived as the devil's intrigue by some religious groups. Many people nowadays think that genetically modified food brings cancer and other diseases. The same is happening to blockchain - this technology is still underestimated though in some spheres it could change our lives.

On the whole, cryptocurrency and blockchain is pretty much making an improvement and also is on the lead.
Few countries are against it because it FIAT is losing its importance.
My opinion is is, yes.. cryptocurrencies are trust-able, but watch out for scammers.

I myself believe that crypto will have good benefits in the future, because I myself use Crypto as a buying and selling tool and as an additional producer of mine, and I think that is not a bad thing, even in some countries online stores have used Crypto as a valid payment currency.

Maybe that will happen, but at the moment I think it's hard to be a part of the life of everyone in this world. As many poor and undeveloped countries in the world have not been exposed to computers, let alone blockchain technology.

First things first, you need to determine is their liquidity aspect, and the number of users in the community, by studying this aspect, you can recognize if a crypto is working or not, thats the most important thing. So for me, i trust crypto nowadays especially bitcoin and ethereum, because here in our country we have few local exchangers, that is supported with the government.

If you already have a lot of experience and insight about crypto, I think you will automatically trust crypto. Although currently there are still many countries that prohibit the use of crypto, crypto has been proven to help many people in making money and also fill the void of those who do not have a job or have little income.

Here trust is depend on popularity. Though trust is ones personal object but when it becomes a community than people find strong trust on that.As the popularity is growing up we can say trust is developing. It is a complex technology so it is hard to learn and predict something surely. Without some unexpected issues it is trustworthy.

To increase the chances for its use we can only one, I think the main trouble cryptocurrency, a large number of scammers on the market ICO, hackers stealing money, all of this greatly inhibits us.

People who join in the cryptocurrency have a big trust because they believe that they can get the advantage from the cryptocurrency. They can have a chance to make a profit, they can have more money, they can have another source of income, and they can have a chance to make a better life too. They can be able to keep trying to collect more money from the cryptocurrency because from time to time, the cryptocurrency will up and down many times, so it is the best chance to make more money.

can we believe or not about crypto it actually depends on each of us, if we only see in terms of the risks that are indeed large then forever we will not believe in crypto, but if we can see a gap to gain profits through crypto then we will be able to trust crypto. and actually how much a risk depends on how we handle the risk, and need to know that any risk must be, if we can overcome the risk correctly then the risk will be small or even riskless

If you are here to make money like most, then the risk needs to be high in order to get all that volatility benefit. It can be trusted but it's still early, regulations, the tech, people mindset etc are things still not yet really tested. So in that aspect it does carry risk but I feel the minute all that goes away; we wouldn't stand to make "easy money" the way it's been since the inception of Bitcoin.

Trust is a very huge term when it comes to crypto. Crypto is very volatile and unpredictable so its not actually a good idea to trust it. I think trust is not the right term. Everyone can try crypto but one should be ready when things go wrong and goes the other way around. Don't put everything on crypto to avoid losing everything.

believe or not believe if you already feel the results of the Crypto currency that you will definitely trust. invest in crypto currencies for the long term and of course you will feel the results, if you patiently wait for the process. now many are hesitant about crypto because the current conditions are not good and they turn around or leave it. believe crypto will be more popular and can grow so you will profit from it.

Of course you should. If we separate the two concepts, the blockchain project and the cost of cryptocurrency, what will we see? And we will see that despite the cost, blockchain projects continue to develop, enter into partnerships and be implemented in our lives. Today, the capitalization has minimal records, and tomorrow will be more than $1 billion. All relative, just look at the benefits of us cryptocurrency and you have answered your own question.
