Title: WILL BITCOIN RECOVER?
Post by: mahbuboracle on July 13, 2018, 10:17:07 PM
The bitcoin price fell free, losing nearly $ 14,000 in value since the peak of 2017. But while cryptocurrency hovered around this year's lows, a new $ 300 million fund dedicated to the crypto market has given investors fresh optimism. The cryptocurrency market was further encouraged this week by news that Facebook reversed its decision to ban ads for bitcoins and other virtual currencies.

This move once again sparked rumors that Facebook is planning a major acquisition in space, or even potentially cryptocurrency itself. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in early 2018 that he plans to "go deeper" with cryptocurrency technology - which offers more than 2 billion users worldwide - launched the blockchain exploration group. Other analysts said that the lifting of Facebook's ban will help reverse the price trend of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

"The crypto market has been in bear territory over the last week or so," Nigel Green, founder and CEO of financial services firm deVere Group, said in a statement to The Independent.

"Facebook's step can be expected to help take it back towards the bulls... Savvy investors are looking at the bigger picture."

Looking at the 12-month price history of bitcoin, the cryptocurrency's current value still represents a 260 per cent increase year-on-year.

Bitcoin is going to $4500. Some 8 inactive bitcoin accounts from 2011 have been logged in and each of them have 10,000+ Bitcoins. Total 100,000 Bitcoins could be sold.

the price has RECOVERED

stop standing at the top of a mountain peak looking down as if what your looking at is a cliff edge of a drop.
a mountain is not the level ground of where everyone should stand..

instead stand at ground level of octobers $6k and march-july's ~$6k and see that a tsunami occured where everyone looked at the skies and seen a large wave occur out of nowhere... and now the tides have recovered back to normal base levels

that $20k was not something 100% of people could take advantage of. it was not something that hung around for months for everyone to organise their finances and get online and trade and appreciate.. the $20k was a very temporary fluke that lasted minutes.

so just stop thinking about $20k as if it was "the norm" and anything below it is disaster undervalue.

be sensible and stand at ground level

Well, you kinda have a point there but looking at bitcoin as it stands now, bitcoin has a possibility of recovering. The world is now embracing the crypto era gradually.

Bitcoin will recover because this is not the only time bitcoin has slide in price since it was inducted into the online currency. A short downtrend of bitcoins doesn't means it will stay there forever.

In August you will see btc increase to 8k5, so bitcoin in short term is going up. But by technical analysis, btc price will continue decrease til the end of this year. It means the price will side way from Aug to Nov. After this period will see what happen next.
Just my opinion and the personal analysis.
Happy trading guys!

it may take months and months before we can see the prices of coins spikes again so if you are asking whether it can rise up again, it will. just don't make sudden decision to dumpnkw because that will add up to the previous mistake you did when you bought btc at the peak of its price.  regulations are being discussed that's going to be the awaited catapult.

This is a good news im glad they've decided to reconsider. My guess is that they can't really stop the advertisement of bitcoin and ICO in their platform. By the way can you post the link of this article so we can have a reliable resource if facebook has really accepted digital currency. It would be nice if google also reconsider and just filter some suspicious ICO in their search engine. This news could trigger another bullish run.

Month of November is a possible  time may increased the market  and bitcoin price like what happened  last year. But for now it's  better to not expecting too much because you may feel sad if the bitcoin will not going recover.

I believe that the bitcoin can recover again and it will rise again, because many time that the bitcoin experience that fall but it is always recover and rise again. The market will recover and the price increase, I thought it is because of the demand so the bitcoin price affect and also the bitcoin experience a fall.

Of course Bitcoin will rise again.  .gov has not shut it down so they approve (even if they are BS'ing on the news).  Just give it time.  The blockchain is a .gov wet dream so we are looking at a trillion+ dollar market cap within a year.  Who knows after that.  Just sit tight.

Yes sure bitcoin will recover it can touch new higher compare to last one that was in 2017 but this cryptocurrency need patience. also if we are selling now then this is the biggest loss and we never survive in this market obviously we can say bitcoin can touch new higher 25000$ to 30000$ if we have guts to survive here then we can make profit otherwise we need to exit from this market.

I believe it will recover. The whales sold Bitcoin by the end of 2017 to take advantage of them and now are the perfect time to pump their money into the market. It is important that they invest in Bitcoin at all times. Will they give up Bitcoin? which helped them earn millions of dollars. I do not think so. The market is moving sideways and this is its lowest price

This is the same noob question asked every year, you'll need to understand that bitcoins has known to be sluggish first half of the year, and it normally rises post that. So in the coming few months one can expect to see bitcoins rising high and it's about time to see it rising I'm expecting a break through very soon. I do hope it rises and amazes us.

I've been monitoring the market for how many years and it's process is kinda scary to those who are not aware yet about how the price moves.

If I have few funds left, I will buy more. It will bring a good return of investment especially if the price will reach to 15k$ again. Cheers.

Possibly there is a way out for bitcoin to recover no matter what happens. We should bear in mind that the crypto world is coupled with regular fluctuations in prices and if we hold our peace as we face the decreasing moment of bitcoin we can possibly overcome and recover normal prices and even beyond prices of 2017 within some few months.

Yes it is, we as a bitcoin holder are aware on the changes of it and this is because bitcoin price itself is always change its value in the market price, then we are aware on why this time the value is down. For sure this is not in a lifetime of bitcoin, it will increase when time come that the market price is time to increase it.

Bitcoin has always recovered from previous crashes. Just look at how many times bitcoin has been declared dead in the media. What amazes me is that people still try to declare it as dead. Right now the infrastructure of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is being developed, and I believe the depressed prices partly reflect the waiting game.

Of course bitcoin will recover but as of now bitcoin is gradually decreasing by its ups and downs , soaring different fake news around the globe , and affecting every mind set and leading to panicking, and also based on what i research bitcoin has a low supply and demand which is not sufficient to pump up.

But , on the other hand , still im currently holding my coins for the sake of my future and so on and so forth , i hope and rooting for its success , i believe that maybe in the middle of this year or the end of this year , maybe we can see some good price , i wish.

This is a tough question as no one has a definite answer to this question. Cryptocurrency prices has fell tremendously since the start of 2018 and this has caused many people to start wondering if this market would ever recover. I believe strongly that the market would recover but it would take some time. Look at bitcoins prices over the years, it bounces back nicely when the prices goes down and does well. I believe it would come back stronger

Bitcoin have its own time for recovery but nobody know when will that recovery start because it is very unpredictable. Expect more price fall in the coming weeks or months before the bounce start. There are some factors why the bitcoin are still going down the creation of global regulation for the cryptocurrencies, the FUDs and the possible price manipulation. When the big investors start buying again, the price will start to rise.

By the way would you be able to post the connection of this article so we can have a dependable asset if facebook has extremely acknowledged computerized cash. Definite answer: WILL NOT RECOVER.  You lost your money and now the whales have it.  Why do you think you are going to get that back somehow?  Can you say: 'bye, bye'?  Don't be stupid.  You were greedy in the first place to want extreme gain for doing nothing.  This is how Ponzi works - you lose.

The entire cryptocurrency market, including Bitcoin, depends entirely on the reputation of the cryptocurrency and the credibility of investors, because they are not backed by reserves, like the currency of the state.

Therefore, with a panic in the market Bitcoin falls in price, because there is no confidence.

It is something that investors are holding or maybe the owner holding first the payments for some altcoins and then will put together in the next few months which will possibly beat the highest market price in 2017.

Bitcoin will certainly recover despite the fact that most people bitcoin will crash soon just because the market gone down. Well for your information one characteristic feature of bitcoin that most people have seem to forgotten is that bitcoin is a cryptocurrency just like the altcoins and so this implies that its price can fluctuate at any point in time. But cryptopreneus know that when this happens that is the time to buy from panic sellers and wait for market to rise to earn huge benefits. So yeah bitcoin will rise and i am holding till the market rises.

News over the past few months is really positive, but they have no influence on Bitcoin's growth so far. In addition to the events listed above, it is worth noting that the SEC can approve its decision on the proposed ETF Bitcoin. This event can affect the whole of the cryptocurrencys. But will there be growth when so many people expect a further fall below 6k. The question remains open.

The market crashed because of the recent crackdown on regulatory matters. Fear, uncertainty and doubt is what caused the holders to massively sell off. Most who entered the market, simple did so off of the strong of following the latest investment trend. Only those who were here since the beginning, as well as those who realize the potential future of blockchain, held their shares during the crackdown.
Regulation is the best thing to happen to crypto, without it, it will never be truly accepted. The idea was to create decentralized peer to peer transaction system, but supply and demand trumps all. Regulation will allow for more adoption, this will expand the network, as well as the market.  8)
Wherever regulation is involved, media and press is sure to follow.

Well, right now the market is really, facing some bad situations where it has to prove its existence because everyone today is doubting the Bitcoin existence for upcoming months. But there are high chances of bitcoin recovery in coming months and this is due to Upcoming Bitcoin ETF's and support from the social media giant Facebook.com. Because if the Facebook.com comes up with a positive tie-up with bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency then you can expect a strong bullish rally sooner.

Bitcoin has crashed before and recovered. It is a near certainty that it will do the same multiple times more but with less price volatility.
Bitcoin has undergone incredible crashes in the past, you’re likely well aware of that by now. What you should note is that each time, it managed to recover.

Sure bitcoin will recover but not immediately it will take some time to increase. Now the market is in green, the price starts to increase slightly but not very high. If it increases moderately then the growth of the bitcoin by the end of this year will be rapidly increase. For that growth we have to wait with patience. Use this time to buy more bitcoins and hold it for future. Once the price starts to increase we can sell and earn more profit.

Many people said bitcoin was in a bubble while its end-2017 crash. But Bitcoin crashed really not like other bubbles in history. When bubbles that have zero value and many investors hoping to sell before the value collapses pop, it always drops the value exactly back to zero. But with Bitcoin the pop, the value dropped only from $19k to to $7k. That's really just a deflation showing a considerable amount of market confidence in a future rise to previous investment prices.

hello dear, in my opinion, bitcoin will be recover very soon, you check last 10 year bitcoin pice chart history, you can see every year bitcoin starts dump in the month of January, and again the double which is less than the pump! Which helps new investors who have a lot of them! Currently 1 bitcoin = 6380 $ +, which was $ 19000 in December last year, but due to panic sellers and various fake news, the market has many dumps, and fake giving false news about facebook, these are actually a policy. market Very fast pump, so don't worry, jast wait and see btc will be 30000 $ in this year!

Yes bitcoin as well as altcoin will recover (it's a know fact that the performance of altcoin is dependent on the performance of bitcoin), In last few days we can see bitcoin is gradually recovering it's lost value and moreover it's time for bull run in upcoming months.

I think the possibility of recovering bitcoin is very possible but it will take a long time before the bitcoin price can recover, you can see that the bitcoin price is constantly decreasing when it reaches the $ 20000 mark and the market is in cycle down in the long run so I think the bitcoin price will be pulled down further down.

We are also preparing to face a global economic crisis so bitcoin prices will be further pulled down further.

Bitcoin will definitely recover. The pricing has a support on $6000 mark and will definitely go beyond that once bans and regulations are finalize in most countries.

many threads asking when is the time for bitcoin or another cryptocurrency to recover? why is the price keep falling? im telling you that the price of bitcoin will always recover, observe for yearly and monthly trend! anyone can predict anything they hopes with coin the have, but for me, i have to tell the honest even if truly sad, the price of bitcoin will not recover soon or in the near future, it will showing green but yet the price will never reach or even close to all time high price anymore like what happened in the end of 2017. so be patient, this is the time for us to add another portofolio and be long term investor.

Bitcoin will recover and I do believe on that even the price now is very cheap I know that someday the price of bitcoin will go back again that's why I'm still holding my bitcoin for the bright future

Bitcoin dumped has often happened so that when the drop does not make me worry, it is actually a good opportunity to buy because it can get a cheap price and of course immediately get a big profit.

I think recovery is already a given considering that it's part of a volatile process. The challenge is if people can actually sit and wait for that recovery or move with the market's volatility until that time.

Surely  BTC will recover because it has the potential to recover.Due to many reasons it suffers from a major downfall which will affect the overall growth of BTC. Bitcoin is one of the important cryptocurrency and it has the capability to grow in coming future. It is already recovering. From last month the prices are rising and hopefully by the end of this year it will reach 10k. A major recovery is expected in 2019.

That's a question that is always running in the head of most people because of of the huge dip that happened to bitcoin since it reached the 20,000$ mark. I believe that something good is waiting for the cryptoworld before this year end but given the situation that bitcoin is down again this time, it can't be denied that it will just add anxiety and stress to people who have little faith in bitcoin too.

Maybe, this is one of the main factors which has caused the rise of bitcoin prices a few days ago.
Rumors about Facebook that will issue its own coins crypto, actually have been talked about a lot in some media since three months ago however we don't know exactly when Facebook will launch it.

Yes, off course bitcoin will surely recover and as of the moment if we look at the coinmarketcap the price slowly gaining back it value. I am pretty sure that bitcoin will go up sooner. So I just hang on and hold a little longer to reach the value of the token I wanted to have and not to sell it in a losing price.

If experts' predictions will come to reality, then bitcoin will be more than its full recovery state because their prediction is more than the price of bitcoin last year at 20,000$. Things may look very bad as bitcoin falls down, but it's relieving in a way that you know you're holding the right crypto assets.

You can bet that we are going in the right direction. How can bitcoin recover when its going better then ever, we have new bottom at 6,000$! We can say that this is a new bottom, price is not going lower for months, that is a huge success. We can`t recover higher bottom cause we never had one. Bitcoin will make higher bottom in the future, but that is growth not recovery. Recovery is such a bad term for bitcoin, many people use it just cause bitcoin was at 20,000$, but that price will be small compared with price in couple years.

I do think that it will be able to recover from this down trend. The market have suffered worse before and chances are high that it will again be able to withstand such difficulty that is also in nature of every cryptocurrency. If we would choose to be patient with regards to the market behavior, there'll be no problem eventually and might even result to profit due to patience.

Patience is also the main requirement which must be owned by every bitcoin user, so that later they can control their emotions in the future and can avoid selling bitcoin, because of a sense of panic.

It will recover but as of now, for sure it will not going to reach the last ATH's, because as what I observe bitcoin has a hard time to increase it's price at the moment, maybe because bitcoin is not that hype just like before (last year) which is many of us are buying bitcoin, investing with bitcoin, trading with bitcoin because the price is good. What happened today is that bitcoin drops hard that is why I think many people are afraid now to invest at the moment.

Bitcoin is going to $4500. Some 8 inactive bitcoin accounts from 2011 have been logged in and each of them have 10,000+ Bitcoins. Total 100,000 Bitcoins could be sold.
If that happens those coins are going to be snapped right away, the whales or new investors are going to take advantage of that, while the rest of the market goes crazy over it and begins to sell giving them even more cheap coins, people need to stop falling for this if they do not want to lose the money they have left, and if they sell when it is obvious such a maneuver is an attempt to making them sell their coins then they deserve to lose their money.

Yes the price is going to recover, I know this can be difficult for people especially for those that are new in this market since they have not seen the incredible ability of bitcoin to recover but one problem with that is that it takes bitcoin a lot of time to go back to its original price, so you need to learn to be patient and hold your bitcoin as if your economic well being depends on it, because most likely that is the truth.

It is not a matter of faith, it is a matter of time, if you look at how the market has behaved in the past you will see that a recovery after a crash takes a lot of time to happen but it will happen so the only question is if you are willing to wait the necessary time to see the recovery? And since many people have sold their bitcoin already then they have already answered that question, it is up to us to decide how do we want to answer that question.

Answering this question was a bit harder to say, because in cryptocurrency everything turns out an expected situations. The unpredicatable behavior of the market is there, and we couldn't read or catch how the mind of the people go around the current trend of the market. But i do believe in my own perceptions bitcoin will be surviving for several months, and upon my observations it's starting to gain good price as well.

of course I believe bitcoin will recover, but I don't know when and how much price. it could remain at a price like last year or even exceed it. but for the current year, it looks like bitcoin won't recover quickly, because bitcoin takes a little longer to recover. maybe in 2019 it will start bullrun, because it is seen from the graph every year.

Bitcoin is going to $4500. Some 8 inactive bitcoin accounts from 2011 have been logged in and each of them have 10,000+ Bitcoins. Total 100,000 Bitcoins could be sold.

It does not matter if the market prices are going to drop because it will still recover, always remember that the prices are in a fibonacci sequence so we can expect for the price to increase even more in the future.
