Title: Which coin will skyrocket? Though now im getting a bit spectacle. What coin do you think is the best to mine atm? (low diff , big boost awating). Please state ALL facts on why you think the coin has what it takes to make it.

I believe in a few coins like NXT, Bitcoin etc but One coin I see as a Dark horse (no pun intended) is Darkcoin. No bullshit, this is a coin that is only CPU/GPU minable has only 84million (relatively small these days) and has the killer feature that everyone wants. Namely complete anonymous transactions. Hunter - i like it. coins with very small minting can rocket very fast....can crash fast too. undervalued coins... dmd for sure. qqc is another one that just needs a bit of attention and will rocket.... maybe the fastest coin out there, the dev fucked up his instamine since it was a orphan reject cluster fuck and now it is awaiting some interest. Is asic resistant being scrypt jane. I class it as a good gamble coin. I don't see much downside from here and only possible upside. Only 30m minting. QRK is still one i hold and will do since i see a LOT of development and passion in that community. It was also voted as the most likely coin to increase in value from the top tier coins. Anyone can guess at the next rocket... but will that rocket be based upon a pump only or a real price rocket due to something special regarding that coin or its community. Nxt cash and many many more. Of course development takes time, but as soon as these features are ready and tested NXT will go up. You still can buy rather low at the moment. It has the potential to go to $1 a coin in a year and then it easy can go up to $10 a coin in 2-4 years and who knows how high it may go if the masses catch it. The potential is there. Please state ALL facts on why you think the coin has what it takes to make it. imho Zerocoin out in may 2014 if the following conditons are met 1) the anon nature of the coin is as good as they say (ie zerocoins 'hook' to be diff then other coins) 2) they stay sha-256 (unlikely) the reason for (2) is .....all the old asic equipment out there usb 333mh asic cards 7gh bfl units....30gh avalon units etc you announce no premine start at 0 diff say may 15th midnight cst or some such...zoom zoom it would take off for a rocket (want to do something with my outdated knc 555gh unit at that point) imho that would be the 'hook' for it to take off big time they likely will merge with a scrypt based alt coin imho but just saying it would be a fun ride if they did the above Searing Title: Re: Which coin will skyrocket? Many people heard about Spaincoin, one of the first copy-cat coins after Auroracoin. But Pesetacoin strikes me as more of an authentic effort to develop a Spanish-oriented coin, and the devs have been steadily making progress with some good tools for it. It's not a pre-mine distribute-to-the-masses coin, just one of the coins trying to build a natural community through its identity. I suspect hurried efforts like Spaincoin will dwindle and die out, whereas Pesetacoin and others like it will gain a real following and could become major currencies in their own right down the line.

Most important will be BTC. We have already several types altcoins. different colorcoins, different animalscoins, different crapcoins and various scammers. All altcoins depend on the bitcoin. If it will decrease / increase the altcoins go along. As we all pumping too much money into all sorts altcoins it will not have a positive effect on the bitcoin. Panda has been sitting right there in the middle at 38 or 39 on CMC everyday for weeks, low cost, POW/POS coin that's been on POS for a while. Development team is low key, efficient, solves problems and keeps promises. Panda is pretty much the only "shitcoin" to not get a pump (except for one quick megapump a long time ago) and is a lot less shitty than most. The volume fluctuates like an upward pointing slow sine wave like someone or some group is planning something. Full disclosure, I have Panda. I mined a bunch back in the day when it was at 1 satoshi and have an old rig that isn't good for anything else still churning them out everyday. NEM's Great Equality Experiment And The Marshmallow Test What Equality Means? The other day I found myself reflecting on NEM, what it is and what we all want to make of it. It seems there is a great discussion going on in the world regarding inequality and so NEM equality experiment comes at the precisely right point in time. As usual I think people focus on the wrong things. We should strive to give people equal opportunities, but they are not and should not be equal in outcome. In fact, though most of us start as equal now, I have no doubt we will not end as equal. If high productivity people work and risk 10x more than the other people, it's common sense that they should also be rewarded 10x more. Indeed, I think this kind of inequality is a natural and even necessary effect of the free market. If you would want to cut this kind of inequality off, you would also have to cut startups, inventions and innovations with it, since this may be the greatest driver for that. However NEM has nothing to do with this landscape. While we may well go through a cambrian crypto-explosion phase, NEM seems to be already between the fittest and is only getting stronger every passing day. Indeed, it would be both stupid and frustrating to confuse deep innovation with clones or low innovation and demand otherwise. NEM aims to bring deep innovation on multiple levels, so when the alpha version along with more interesting details will be disclosed, I think a lot of people will get very excited and some will even get nervous. Indeed this could be one of the most important developments of the altcoin world in 2014. But as you might understand, until the right moment comes, most of these details need to be kept secret for obvious strategic reasons. Anyway, starting with our extremely competent and responsible dev team, our large, talented and diverse community, our fair distribution and equality experiment, I think you can all see that with each passing day NEM is evolving to be a whole different kind of creature, unlike anything you have seen it the altcoin world until now. But in order to see that, you must get out of the noisy and impulsive crowd and focus on the signal. If you look close enough I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The Marshmallow Test And Financial Freedom It seems there are two major impediments on the road to financial freedom. One of them is the economic and banking system which we are trying to solve at least partially through NEM. The other one is a bit more counter-intuitive and less thought of, it's ourselves(with all the decisions and wrong moves we make). If we want to achieve something we must shift from a consumer mindset to a producer mindset, and therein lies the key. Looking at the marshmallow experiment which emphasizes self-control and delayed gratification as a better predictor of success than IQ, I can only wonder what all those people selling NEM now will think in a couple of months. If you would have to choose between receiving 1.5 btc for your share now or delaying gratification to receive at least 10x that amount in a couple of months, what would you choose? If self-control and delayed gratification are a good predictor of success, it seems quite obvious to me, impulsivity may be an even better predictor of failure. So in the end, I can only say be wise and make smart decisions because although we all start with an equal opportunity, ultimately our decisions, contributions and productivity will decide our outcome, and trust me, as it looks, there won't be any equality in that. References 1 Through necessary resources I mean an enormous amount of brain power, time and energy to invest and conceptualize such a novel technology and an even greater amount of brainpower, time, energy and determination to transform things from the realm of ideas to reality. These three coins hold the most promise right now - NEM especially, not only due to it's dedicated, transparent dev team, but the features it offers and it's Proof of Importance nature, which will encourage spending and not hording. I've watched NXT coin slowly increase in price over this last week or so. Whether or not this is due to the presence of NEM on the Asset Exchange i'm not sure. Either way it's pretty exciting. And a lot of people don't have long term perspectives; They hope that a premined ICO will get somewhere after a pump... It's likely that most premined / ICO coins have no real future, but fair and mature coins may have.But we have a lot of issues; If we look at X11 coins lunched this year most have scam features; darkcoin and the masternode implementation, other have premined, or special blocks, etc... But if any do I would guess Bitshares just because its been fairly low profile so far and therefore isn't too expensive, but the BitAssets thing will allow people to hold something with a stable familiar value but still get the advantages of crypto so it may have a good chance of appealing to the general public. As long as people feel a given crypto is viable, it will continue with a price that reflects the current market.
