Title: Should I Convert My All Coins into Bitcoin or USD?
Post by: AshikurRahmanKhan16 on September 05, 2018, 06:07:06 PM
What's going on the crypto market? The crypto market keeps bleeding. When will come the good time? My investment, bounty coin hold, everything has become a general amount, where it was big! I can't think what should I do? Because every plan of mine is failed. My hopes, my thoughts are zero now, because this year crypto is giving only panic, not success! I got nothing by hodling my coins! I really hate them who suggested me to hold, hodl!!

What do you think guys? Should I convert my coins into USD to prevent the price falling?

I'm sure whoever offered you the hodl also keeps the coins in his wallet.Yes, now is not a very pleasant situation with the market. Many are disappointed. But still, be patient is not much and everything will be fine. You will get your profit. Now it makes no sense to sell coins that's for sure.

Don´t hate or blame others for poor decisions, they are your own and you should never think otherwise, that will just make you a powerless victim of others opinion.
Ofc you can sell BTC if you feel that the market wont recover but USD wont keep its value for very long if you intend to save money. After a few years your USD will be worth less, since more is printed in i fanatical manner.  USDT / True USD have the same problem, backed by worthless dollar, I would at least keep some BTC not cash it all out since I think the internet of money is the future. I have a long horizon, stay invested and increase my positions until 2022 when some adoption has arrived, we are early and there are only 10 million BTC wallets with amounts over 0.002 which is nothing. Have faith :)

And for that matter, the market has been going sideways for months now, how come this is the moment you are giving up? Bounty from shit coins always goes to zero pretty much, which gives you 2 options. 1. Keep the coins you believe most in, if you think the market will turn and have effect on those coins. 2. Sell it all if you don´t think the market will recover or if you think that a recovery wont affect the bounty coins you hold, oh and by gold :)

I can´t shake the feeling that patience will pay off, so much good news but no responses in prices

Peace out!

Its a matter of perspective, and those perspectives will change with time.
"Time" we have to realise is a very key factor in what we are looking at and
interested in.

For me I got into crypto when Bitcoins price was $1000 so from my perspective
todays price is very rewarding. SO this time next year or in 2020 the perspective
will change for those who today are disgruntled about crypto.

I personally believe that the majority of coins/tokens or whatever you want
to call them will not progress as much as people hope they will. Bitcoin and
some established alts will continue to move forward and that is where I
suggest we should focus on not some very minor coin which gets pumped
one by 6000% and then is forgotten after its man purpose has been achieved,
To be Pumped.

You must be more patient and calm yourself, don't make decisions when you panic. The market is currently in poor condition, and prices are also very messy, but I think there is still a chance for the market to stabilize because crypto is unlikely to die this year.

Yes, 2018 is a disappointing year when it comes to bitcoin and other coins. Last year was awesome and a lot of people earn millions but nevertheless let's hold our coin and hope for a better 2019

That's exactly what they want, the big whales started a btc dump wave (with other alts like ETH as well) to try to trigger panic selling among the weak hands which will push the price further down just so other whales can buy cheap again (at least that's my theory behind this drop). Don't give in to this obvious attempt to trigger a panic selling wave, hold your coins and wait for the next rebound.

If you're one of those wholgives in easily to massive price swings, I'd recommend you to stop looking at the charts for a few days. In the long run, you will regret selling your coins because of a measly 5% drop.

You will experienced lots of downtrend in crypto world. If you can't take the current trend, what if for more to come?

Remember that we have different approach in our hold coins. The decision must come at yours and not because everybody told you to do so. Others might be successful on that strategy but it doesn't mean it can produce a same result to anyone including you.

You hate now those HODL suggestions by others? Then it might better "to stop holding any coins from now on" until you understand what you are going through.

What do you think guys? Should I convert my coins into USD to prevent the price falling?

You can't prevent any future trend that will come. You have no choice but to deal on it.

I do not think that you should even transfer money to other currencies. No, of course with some of the investments in the form of tokens and coins, you can do this way ... but you should stick to the principle of not laying eggs in one basket ... it is better to keep investments in different places ... this will reduce the risks and increase the probability of generating income. Something like this

Personally, I do not suggest you convert all your coin into bitcoin or USD except ifthe coin are not really promising and you feel it will not yield much profit but if they are potential coins, I will suggest you hold some and covert some into bitcoin so they will also yield profit when the market recover from the bear.

Not only do you feel it yourself, but everyone is out there, so be patient there is nothing easy in this situation, it all goes back to you and your own belief, that most of them suggest not based on knowledge or just predictions, it is true that crypto makes you annoyed so to get out in this wave, only patience people will feel good benefits for the future, always remember in every market there will be an increase or decrease and something that is not easily achieved, takes a long time, try to better understand every condition, don't blame many others.

This will depend on you, because I see a big problem here that you are just depending on the suggestion of your friend or what without making any research and that is why you are trap on that coins. Now you are asking again, this market is very risky when you don’t have enough experience. Don’t make decisions that is base on your emotion, try to analyze everything.

I don't think it's a good idea at the moment cause it's too late :). If you exchanged all your cryptocurrencies to USD or USDT before when BTC price was more than $10k then everything would be fine at the moment :). But right now, I don't think you should do that, try to hold a little bit more.

crypto market is really not good for now, I suggest that you just keep it in the form of USD, but also set aside some assets to put in the form of BTC, in a market like this, we really need a good calculation and strategy so as not to be affected by a great loss.

If you bought in at a higher price, you may as well just hold them for a while longer if you don't need the money right now. The price will eventually go back up and you don't lose anything if you don't sell. You'll end up making money if you hold onto them for longer. Just look at some of the future price predictions. I know it's bad right now, but things will be getting better. I can almost assure of that.

I prefer to convert my holding to bitcoins during times of  market downward trends, If i convert them to USD, it is almost like leaving the market, plus the fact that that you can not really tell when the market suddenly go parabolic, that is why I prefer bitcoin, I may lose some value but it will eventually recover.

Most alts seem to be near their bottom values. The only real reason for swapping over now would be if you don't have confidence in them long term. I personally would not risk gaining 10-20% when it could mean missing out on 400-500% returns in the future.

OP's frustrations will just lead him to another regrets when things start to be more brighter inside the market, there's a lots of things which needed to be consider when you are investing or working with this industry, holding is essentials if you are believing with the assets that you are still holding, you should minimized your emotion or better to be emotionless as you take the risk prepare yourself and not to allowed making mistakes with your decisions.

Uncertain with the exact timefram when the good time and real recovery of the market. Few days ago, we saw on how the market has been so good to us but just an unexpected incident came.

I've been suggesting to hold so I'm part of the people you hate. But, as you are growing to the market don't blame your situation from the advice of the community. You have your own hand to press for buy and sell orders for each of your coins that are dropping and increasing.

You should do it before the market crash

The market is holding around the $6,400 level
If you believe the market will drop further, sell and convert it to btc/usd

Else, just hold for now

Well, hold is an option when you have a backup, if you have all your money on cryptos and the crash is a big pain for you, then you should divide, sell the half that way you will be able to avoid some of the crash. Other way if you think it will keep crashing, then you can sell all and wait for the crash, the buy and get more btc on the move.

Is a hard decision, i know, is hard to hold the coins and see how it crash, and is hard to sell them and see how it bump, just don't panic and move the money wise and with a reason.

This is exactly the way the manipulators wanted you to feel. Sell it to them cheaply and they will be the ones to benefit from it for long term. One man's trash is another man's treasure. If you really need the money in this moment, there's nothing wrong from selling your coins and converting them to fiat.

I would prefer to  convert it to Bitcoin than fiat because fiat will never appreciate which means your investment will be in stagnant mode. In bitcoin it could depreciate a little bit but bull market has more advantage because it already suffer a huge bear market for almost a year now.

Actually this is not a best time to day trading. You can buy a bitcoin for your future now .The experience traders will use to hold at this situation. Actually conversation of coins into bitcoin and USD is panic conversation.Better you can hold your coins for your future. When the price of bitcoin is increased, the price of altcoin will increase.Hold your coins in negative fluctuations.

Better convert it with bitcoin because the value of bitcoin would have a bigger possibility of reaching a good value anytime soon so you have to be smart about it. Take the chance of holding some of it before the bull market comes.

There is even no point to be disappointed.

What just amazes me is that people are always considering the exchange their funds into fiat and tend to make those decisions when the market is hugely down already with them knowing they know nothing about trading.

It is a two way thing, it is either you learn how to trade effectively, which if you hop too much into it, will make you screw up or you just simply keep holding on to what you have and focus on the long term which if you have some few bucks laying around, you can even buy more at the dips.

In my opinion you should not convert the coins into dollars because the market will recover and Bitcoin has discounted how many times and now you should calm. If you transfer all coins to USD your assets will never rise again. Be calm this is the moment.

it is very correctly said that if you convert all the coins into US dollars, then the assets will stop growing in value. But it should be mentioned that there will not be a fall in price either. In any case, you can simply transfer USDT.

I'm sure that you should not panic. Its coins need to be kept. Everything is stabilized. The prices will start to grow again and all who have not succumbed to panic will work well.

Not necessarily and reserving an amount in Bitcoin or USD can be considered more a strategy for the benefit of some profit. Now converting by obligation or because the market is down is a desperate attitude and this is something that should be studied for later not regret. So the ideial to do is to define a strategy for this moment.

Thank you very much for your kind answer. Actually i was too much fed up. Because , i became a long time holder from a instant seller. But what i get in these Eight months? Nothing! That's why i made a decision that i will not hold anymore, i will try to do trade.

Though I am not in a panic, rather I was fed up! Because my money is gone and I don't believe that my money will back again what I hold! Because many coins are almost dead, like no response from the team or no new update! That's why I made a suggestion that I will sell my coins and convert them into Bitcoin! If the bitcoin price goes down again then I will convert bitcoin to USD. When the market will start pumping, I will convert USD to bitcoin again! What do you think?

This is the right thing to do which I regret big time because I didn't monitored my coins in an exchange. I was too focused as a scalper and I forgot that the dump price of btc also affected the price of some altcoins. If I just converted it into Tusd then i prevented my losses.

I think that's a great strategy. I've done it quite a lot and it's completely safe for you. When the market is down, the price of USDT will increase and we will have more profit. But it's only for the opportunity investors and you should consider it. ;)

if you feel the market going bad, then you could choose USD to safe position and buy btc later
after that, btc would make a jump, you can sell to USD and buying alt which not pumped yet,
now its just matter of time until your alt getting up and you could have double up  :D

It all depends on the balance, because large balances can afford to earn profits in dollars, small balances are forced to work on multiplying the asset with the hope of further growth

Better convert it with bitcoin because the value of bitcoin would have a bigger possibility of reaching a good value anytime soon so you have to be smart about it. Take the chance of holding some of it before the bull market comes.

that idea is not so good , knowing that the value of bitcoin is highly volatile . as what i notice, the value of bitcoin is oftenly fluctuates when compared to altcoins therfor i think it is better if you can just continue to hold your altcoins rather than converting it to bitcoin .

converting them all into usd is the best thing to do only if you are already contented about your earnings .

but if ever you invest on some unkown coins and you are doubting about thier future , i recomend trading them to bitcoin or to usd as early as possible to prevent further issues that may occur in the future . we dont know it those unkown coins are only a pump and dump type .

I think you better store and convert your earnings in bitcoin so that you would be able to expect a good profit in return instead of converting it into dollars and still gaining nothing. It is important that you'll know how to handle your savings and earnings by making a good profit out of it.

If you are not prepared to hold those bounty coins to a long-term position then you should do some short trades sometimes, you should have a definite motivation to hold tokens/altcoins for long-term holding, set stop loss to prevent further decreases to your portfolio base on your assumption that crypto market has no assurance for tomorrow, bitcoin is also fluctuating so you have USD to your side, should you convert? determine first if you are holding a useless token, confirmed that? then those are only good for a short period of time, good project? then convert it partially then leave the rest for holding then trade it to increase more profit while it is cheap.

Question a lot of people ask during a market bear trend. At this stage, it will be an absurd thing to do when it comes to converting into bitcoin or USD.

The whole crypto market however has taken a huge dive, so you would just be doing yourself more harm if you are selling now. Based on your question, you should know that it is either you are selling or you are trading. If you do not have any trading knowledge, then the best thing for you to do is to hold and stop worrying yourself or questioning us about the short term.

You should convert altcoins to BTC and USDT, because altcoins are more risky investment, if you choose BTC it is less volatile than ALTs but it is also bleeding so you should choose distribution between btc and usdt i suggest %30 btc %70 USDT.You should do this way long before but you still have time.

You said you hate people who earlier suggested you something according to their own knowledge. No one forced you to do that. The ultimate decision was yours. So don’t blame others. And above that you are again asking for some advice from that people. For what?  Only to blame them again if something happened wrong in future. If you hate us then stop asking for suggestions and take your own decisions and have some sense of accountability. It’s not like only you are suffering losses, many others are also experiencing the same. Stop acting as a victim.

My opinion is " If you can't get a risk, you will never achieving to your targets " So always I'm, really like to take the risk. At this time I will hold my all tokens till the end of this year because I trust me. If you can take a risk, I think, the best thing to do is, HOLD. The hold is the perfect selection at this time.

I think that now it makes no sense to translate altcoyins into dollars because they will soon begin a growth cycle
But what if one wants to convert the coins to Bitcoin? The rise in the worth of the portfolio will be much big would not it be? So if you have coins you want to convert into Bitcoin or in dollars, you can but first do the cost benefit analysis and see if the return you will get in future will be more than the return you might get by holding these coins. Only then you can build a good forecast which will help you make the decision ultimately.

I'm sure holding Altcoin and not panicking is the best solution for now, if you convert all your altcoins to Bitcoin or become USDT it doesn't guarantee you will be successful, all coins experience a very severe decline now, everyone who recommends you to survive is people who have a very strong mentality and they have strong beliefs for success.

Panicking is a choice but inexperienced holders will definitely going to cause their own panic but holding altcoin isn't the best solution but holding bitcoin.
if you convert all your altcoins to Bitcoin or become USDT it doesn't guarantee you will be successful
Converting to bitcoin is a safer coin than any altcoin.
all coins experience a very severe decline now, everyone who recommends you to survive is people who have a very strong mentality and they have strong beliefs for success.
Settle your emotion for this period, you have to be stronger and learn while on this dip.

Do you sell your btc if the price goes below 500? I am sure not. This is why no one sells  now their btc bought even for 11 000

panic will make you a failure, turning altcoin into bitcoin is the right choice, because bitcoin is more worthy of being owned and held than the altcoin. but if you want to change it into usd, it's not right, because the market is falling and you have to buy back to fold the assets you have. remember, there is no success without a failure, keep on spirit.

Well that's what crypto market is, but you being in this market for so long given your member status on bitcointalk, you must've seen this fall even before too. If you are getting panicked by the market conditions then you should convert them to fiat or USD for that matters. No point in converting to BTC coz it can fall even more, no one can be sure.

I also in the position where I regret holding my altcoins for long term because it only gives me disappointments and dissatisfaction. One of my friend told me that if you choose holding those altcoins for long term, you better prepare yourself for the worst and decision making when to sell those to gain profit. If you wanted to maximize your profit, you better start trading those regularly and you will learn a lot for sure. Investment is not something easy to deal with so instead of panicking, why would you start building your own strategy? Like reading the chart when to sell those for a profit or stop your loses.

A valuable experience for you is that you should not listen to the words of others when investing. That would be a wrong decision. You should listen to your inner voice. You should pass Bitcoin and hold until the end of 2018. Bitcoin's price will definitely improve.
the influence of other people can sometimes self-destruct, until now there is always negative news about cryptocurrency so many people feel panic and are able to cause a price decline that continues to this day. if we are not easily affected by negative news that always pops up, it is advisable to hold and not sell potential coins that we have for a long period of time and not convert to usd or to other types of altcoins that do not have future growth.

If you want the safest thing, then you must convert the coin to USDT, but if you still have a certain profit after conversion, then you should choose Bitcoin!

You are not wrong, but the expectations that people have out of this market sometimes are very ridiculous, I have seen people asking questions about when bitcoin is going to reach 1 million and if we think it is going to happen at the end of this year, when you see people asking that kind of questions you know that they are not willing to wait for a few years to recover their money.

I think it was necessary to do this a little earlier, but still not the full amount. Partial translation will help you to have little money to invest in coins at a low price, when everything is stabilized.

Converting all your coins into Bitcoin is a good idea if that coins are having less potential to grow. If that's a major crypto which belongs in the top currencies then i think it's not a good idea at all because they can also give you profit like bitcoin when these cryptos rise drastically.

Bitcoin conversion is good idea but we should analyse our bounty token. Because most the tokens are sell, once it is listed in the exchanges but some peoples are hold the potential tokens. I am not recommend to convert the Bitcoin and before to invest we should carefully choose the best one or we should invest in Bitcoin is a better Idea.

It is safe to convert with btc as it is being maintained at more than $6k mark but if you have alts and gained much or even in small percentage it will be better to go with usdt for stability and just wait for another dip and buy back or if you wanted to why not choose from top 50 in cmc which may be profitable in short term.

that depends on the coin you hold . if you hold coins that is on the top list ( e.g eth , ripple , bch ) then your fine and dont ever convert them to btc or even on usd because the current market is still in a bad shape which means you can potentially loose some of your capital if ever you bought those coins at a higher rate before .

if you wana own a btc , then go buy it seperately . same as on usd , if you want to own a usd , then you gotta work on it  the other way around .

It should be treated accordingly, if you hold long standing quality alts which always have potential to grow alongside with bitcoin then better not to convert but keep on holding, a test of time will determine which coins can survive when crypto will be adopted in a much wider venue, only convert alts when you already have no hope or you really thinks that it is only a pumped and dumped project where potential is small better to convert it and use the money to buy new coin that can bring good fortune.

This is correct, when people fail instead of analyzing why their plan failed they immediately try to do something else to try to recover the money that they lost, but if they still have no idea about why their original plan failed then the chances that they will fail again become very high, so after a failure it is very important to try to tell why that happened and if you can't then you need to wait until you can.

Hello mate, This is just a piece of advise, you gotta have to spread your altcoins so that theres a lot of possibilities that you wont lose all when you only focus on one altcoin.  Thats the very basic of crypto trading just so you know.

Converting all the coins into one single coin is not good even if there is an element of profit for there is always a huge risk in doing so. This is an open secret that if you try to put all your assets in the same basket, you might be prone to loss. On the other hand, if you keep some of your altcoin and convert the rest in Bitcoin, that can make a sense because not all the altcoin are so impotent not to give back the money you expect. Give it some time.

It all depends on what you are holding really. If you feel the altcoins you are holding does not have a future and you have the chance to convert them to bitcoin, please do so.

Just like Tom Lee said, if you are not holding at least 1btc, you should be trying as much as possible to see how you will be holding it, before you can even start considering any shit coin you want to buy. Most altcoins will not last and you really want to be careful what you are holding so you do not regret it eventually when bitcoin dominates the market as that time will definitely come.

Trading is most better option to earn money. All coin going very down, so Bitcoin is better and also trading is better. if you think you got daily $5 then every month you can earn 150 dollar. Just imagine about this. Try to learn about trade.

Exactly. The cost benefit analysis gives you an insight into the future of the portfolio. It also depends on the type of coins you are holding. If your coins are prone to loss in future, better do it now for Bitcoin and dollar have good possibility of rise in the value than any other coin with low ability.

However if your coins are low due to the market and you believe that the value will rise high once the market recovers, better keep holding it and wait until you could cash it with profit.

As long as it is not a stable coin that is centralized, there is no coin in the crypto sphere that does not get reduced in price as they are all volatile. Most altcoins have the market move in the direction of bitcoin most of the time, and when you are saying similar, I must say the level at which the market for Ethereum has gone is incomparable to bitcoin while I would not even consider ripple as anything anyway.

The more you are exposed to altcoin as far as I am concerned, the bigger the risks and even if you want to be in altcoin, just focus more on those with real life products that will get useful in the long run.

I think is better to diversify. Said that a good balance would be to have 75% of all your crypto fund in Bitcoin. Then diversify in the top 10 Coinmarketcap coins 15%, and leave 10% to coins and tokens that you consider have a great future and are great blockchain projects. This way even if a coin fails you still have a lot of amounts on Bitcoin or another more "stable" coin. Also, don't put all your investment in crypto diversify in real state, bank investment, stock market, bonds, and always leave some cash available.

The current case may be the worst case to sell. In order to evaluate opportunities, it is good to keep some amount in the portfolio stable. But, keeping all of them stable will not give you anything. On the contrary, if there is an increase, you will lose great opportunity.

It doesn't make sense to link the whole capital to a single investment vehicle. It makes more sense to invest by dividing the capital. We can get solid profits in the bull season.

What I am doing now is to have everything in USD, and what I do is speculate in the market, after studying the market, I will pass everything to Bitcoin, at the moment that Bitcoin takes its upward trend.

I have some altcoins that are not worth changing to USD for being very cheap, so the best thing I can do for now is to keep and keep until the market takes its bullish trend because I know that altcoins will be worth a lot, since most It will follow the path of bitcoin. This is what I will do because my nature is to be a market speculator, I do not intend to think as an investor, as investors leave their currencies as they have without changing them to USD until the market takes its bullish trend.

When looking at the red market, there is indeed a decision to save our assets to USD and this is a difficult decision to accept. After studying the market well and having the benefits obtained it will jump to save on bitcoin so that this makes our steps on crypto will have a good and safe impact. Learn wisely every coin that is owned to be useful.

it will only make you lose when the place where you invest experiences bankruptcy and they the team is not responsible even many who run away then your money there will disappear instantly, so you better not focus on only 1 investment, spread your capital to do investment in several places.

His money, his call lol. If you think it'll be more profitable to have huge amounts in a single basket, then it's a gamble only you can decide on since it's your money. There have been many instances where an all in investment hits a jackpot and the investor goes away with more than triple of his capital.

Every coin in the coinmarketcap or the market is the best coin you can buy because all coins will increase although we don't know how higher the price can go. But it depends on how much money you have and make sure that before you buy any coins, you should analyze and decide to buy a cheap coin or expensive coins so you can directly buy the coins. And don't forget to not buy the coin with all in of your money because you need to have free money in your balance to prevent if there are any down for the price so you can buy more the coin.

Of course, you are absolutely right, but you just do not need to transfer all your money from the dollar to the cryptocurrency. It is better to leave a good amount of money in your home budget, and half to invest in cryptocurrency. Risk all means never need.

I understand that it his money and his call but we still have to be our brother’s keeper, at this period when the market is full of uncertainties, it will really be a wrong idea to keep ones investment in a single market, this could make him go bankruptcy and in turn end his life.

The only coin I can even still advise people to keep much fund as a single investment is bitcoin, because that one is very sure to rise to the extent of becoming useful for store of value in future, but you see other coins, it will be a very risky thing for one to keep a single basket, best is to diversify while one to keep a larger part of ones investment in that single basket we so much trusted.

Buying Bitcoin and other coins you are helping to revive the market and increase prices, so I do not see other options. Especially if we want to earn money, we need to create something for the crypto industry, to contribute, and then we will get what we want.

I think BTC and altcoins work in opposite directions, when bitcoin is at its ATH, most altcoins are low but once bitcoin starts consolidating, most altcoins start gaining huge profits, anyone that can be smart enough to play this game of switch, the person will benefit a lot from both sides of the coin.

Leaving early has its own advantage and disadvantages too. Losing big part of the balance requires to re-think the planned trades and previous strategies with proper money management. Traders can stay in markets with the loss but no one can guarantee success due to psychological issues.

Agree to that, take every steps as a learning process, each time you make an entry make sure to have second options, planning well and anticipates things to go in two different directions, don't quit because you are losing and you think the only best way is to accept loses, you still have time to observe think twice before you decide.

I believe that you need to convert Fiat to a cryptocurrency and just wait for prices to rise. Buying Bitcoin and other coins you are helping to revive the market and increase prices, so I do not see other options. Especially if we want to earn money, we need to create something for the crypto industry, to contribute, and then we will get what we want.
before attempting to sell any coins, we must evaluate their real prospects for the moment and for the future. You will not have any sense in Fiat funds today, because any sales will lead to losses of those assets that were purchased earlier.
Yes, you are right, that's why I spoke about this. Now the best option is to keep your capital in cryptocurrency, because with the rise in the price of cryptocurrency, Fiat will depreciate in relation to cryptocurrency.

If you have currencies and Bitcoin already accumulated, my advice is that you do not sell them, because the best thing you can do is save them until the bitcoin changes to a bullish trend, at this moment we are in the accumulation phase following the Wyckoff theory.

If your intention is to speculate in the market, I advise you to buy and when you sell it to USD, but at the moment that the bitcoin takes its bullish tendency you must spend all your FIAT money to Bitcoin, because being in bullish tendency your money will grow , for now it is always good to buy and sell, passing everything to USD, for the possible fall of Bitcoin, since the volatility is very high and somehow we have to protect our capital.

It will depend on your altcoins that how much potential. If those altcoins have great value and potential, then don't sell and hold. Besides, you can also convert them on bitcoin because price of the bitcoin will be rising within some days. Hopefully you will use them in great purposes.

It is also depends on the person if he can able to look for the potential of the coin, and if he will able to believe on the prediction to that coin. For me it is better to settle 50 percent on the alts you are holding and 50 percent on the stable coin, stable coin can gives you a good profit in a long run but once that your alts go to the moon sell it and dont be greedy anymore because you might regret it soon.

means there is no problem to keep saving altcoin or bitcoin? to save USDT I never thought of it. but I am still confused about saving altcoin or bitcoin, because now the price is not too good. maybe I will wait for the new altcoin to rise. I will hold assets in the form of bitcoin.

If your Altcoins assets still not able to ride with Bitcoin fast moving performance then it is wise to sell them for Bitcoin specially if the facilitators of that Altcoins are now in active to promote their products. It will most likely that these Altcoins will become crap so better sell them to Bitcoin before you will fully lost your investments.

That depends on the purpose of changing your altcoin, whether for speculation or for a safe investment. For speculation, I suggest that the altcoin that is owned is sold then buy Bitcoin, because now it's experiencing a bullish market.
But if you want to feel safe, of course selling altcoins and buying USD of course the finance will be safe because USD is a currency that has a high level of stability. Very rarely fluctuate quickly and large, unless there is an extraordinary event.

I would say that you have 2 options, keep your funds in stable coin like usdt, but it isn't safe, but it is the only wat to fix profit if you have a lot of money, 2nd option is exchange in fiat, in real usd, cash. In this option you should use good exchanger like Indacoin in order not to lose money.

and 3rd option, keep funds in btc, so you will never miss bull run

in recent times almost all altcoin projects have not increased when Bitcoin soared, so we can't beat the project all the nonsense because Ethereum is also a project that for me is good but they don't increase when bitcoin rises, never thinks of leaving it

I think you dont have to convert all of your coins, you can keep bitcoin as a long investment. I think bitcoin will surely climb up to its old days price. Although the price has a correction now, later it will be uprise again.

if you want a safe, stable thing, I think changing it to USD can be a non-increasing savings in the long run. but, changing it in the form of bitcoin now can bring you profits, or losses. You can choose between them according to your needs. for now, I'm thinking of changing it to bitcoin.

It also depends on the amount of money the guy is going to convert. The USD variant will be safer, but it will not give any profit. The cryptocurrency variant promises the income, but there is a chance that the investor can lose everything. It will depend on the market movements and on the patience of a person. I would choose a mixed variant: BTC+USD.
The market situation and the satisfaction in the mood will help us know that we should transfer everything to bitcoin or USD, typically, the market is increasing, especially the value of bitcoin is very high and that price makes us satisfied, we should convert to usd to avoid the case where the bitcoin falls, and we will lose the ideal profit. Conversely, if the market situation is bad, the price of bitcoin falls, we should choose the right time to switch to bitcoin because when it rises again, we will be more profitable, in addition, we need to consider many other factors

Seeing the alarming market conditions it might be better to immediately convert existing coins to usd, because this method will minimize losses and many also speculate that in the near future Bitcoin will correct up to under $ 8000 USD.

If you going to long time hodl, you can convert your altcoins into bitcoin and wait for its price to go up. In my trading, I also used to convert my coins into stable coins like usdt when their price are falling to avoid losses and buy them again when they start to rise. If you are in investing or trading, you need to create or plan your own strategies if you want to succeed and mininized losses.

It all depends on the movement of bitcoin. At times like this that bitcoin movement is still indeterminate and wavering, usdt should be your best call if you observe massive sell orders from patterns then during accumulation you exit usdt and enter bitcoin. Note that this require you must timely monitor trades to avoid being caught off guard

It is better to sell Bitcoin and while at USD. This is done to reduce losses as the market price continues to deteriorate. But when the price is already in a low condition, we can buy Bitcoin and we are investing long term.

If you have held Bitcoin since the end of 2018 and the current coin you are selling, of course, you will get a lot of profit. Trading also needs a pretty good strategy and patience.

If I have to leave the crypto world for a few years then I'll hold values in coins instead of USD, however it all depends how much I can afford to lose at that point.

If you think you are losing a lot then convert to USD to limit your lose but its kinda risky too e.g what will happen if price start surging after you've convert to USD?the choice is yours

People should not regret the time that they are able to stop the losing of value of their coin, rather than being greedy and make losing much hurtful. But if it is surging dont regret after converting it to USD it is better to stop loosing rather than waiting for the surge.

We can do the two changes on the advantage we had, while the market still in transit of its improvement at the present time. It needs a concise administration as we're ready to withstand the ongoing business sector changes. Trust your choices just as reading more articles that motivates you along the way, on the grounds that btc and usd is confided in monetary standards.

This situation occurred when the end of the year was 2018, and at that time there was a very sharp decline. I agree when many people turn the coin into USD. Because of this I also do to avoid far more losses. And when I can go back to buy some coins up. And proved in the mid-year 2019 coin price is back pumping.
