I joined crypto some months ago now. As at the time I joined crypto, ETH was around 700$ compared to around 1000$ it was January this year. The value of ETH now is around 202$.In my findings, I discovered that ETH was below 50$ early 2015. With all these trends, which season can we say ETH is tending towards now because some believe it will rise above 1000$ before the close of this year while others say it will keep going down. Which season are we? Let me know your opinion.

Actually lot of similar question on this board. You can discuss on existing thread rethar than make a new topic. Or you could use search button before posting. By the way, I think still we are in buy zone for eth. If you see previous record than I think current price is lower in this year. So it's time to buy. But invest what you affords loss. No one can say about crypto future.

Ethereum is facing some challenges now, and I have to give my opinion about it, I think it is in a season where it needs to balance itself, and get back on its feet. This is the season where its supporters and investors need to stand by it, and hodl the coin. Challenging times, but will be worth it at the end.

According to me, it is impossible to reach $1000 again this year, not even sure next year. First of all, Ethereum has a history at rising less than Bitcoin in general. I believe it was near $1500 at the start of the year, but the collapse has been too harsh for it to recover. Second thing to consider, the quantity of Ethereum is higher than the quantity of Bitcoin, which in my opinion limits the rise in the price (again if you compare it to Bitcoin).
I would not invest in Ethereum right now, unless it is with pocket money. Too much risk.

ETH is falling and stagnant in common, I can't find any positive changes in its current life so my trading on it is finished. I am going to hold it for the better time.

I hope ETH is on bottom now because it's #2 crypto project and there are many great devs are working on Ethereum 2.0. So I can recommend to buy more ETH while it's cheap now. I believe ETH under $200 is cheap and I filled my bags.

I didn't use the whole capacity of ethereum because when we say the whole capacity it means you invested, you trade, you hold and use all offers benefits of this project.

I recently saw that Ripple passed Ethereum actually, even though I don't believe Ripple has high chances to keep this position, we never know in this unpredictable market, could surprise us again this year.

Eth is now currently falling but I guess that it will not stay that way and might find its way in going up any time now. So, it will be so much better if we find time to buy this coin. This coin is one of the promising one.

Yes that's true Ethereum is below $50 dollars back in 2015 and I have been Bought Ethereum at $2 dollars and Sell it at $14 dollars and I think this is one of my Biggest mistake in Crypto decision because i'm a newbie at that time and Hodling is not in my agenda back then. But it change now regarding the season as we know that the main cause of Ethereum price dump is due to massive selling from Whale hodlers. I think those $1000 dollars speculation its not possible this year.

Your knowledge is good enough for Ethereum, Ethereum is currently declining but in my opinion Ethereum will rise and recover. I am sure Ethereum prices will rise at the end of this year.

I am truly an Ethereum optimist and I do believe that Ethereum will survive in the long run and have a much higher price in the future.
I am not so accurate with the speculation and I guess nobody is but it I am sure that ether will keep its price high in the long term.
I did find it weird to see Vitalik saying negative things about Ethereum yet I believe in him and the Ethereum platform.
I am sure Vitalik what is necessary to keep the platform developed and running.

I think at this time I still can't confirm when ETH will jump. At present the ETH price is still in the $ 225 price range. I just hope for now that the ETH is not reduced below $ 200, because it looks sad for the ETH holders. Believe that this is like autumn, I hope it will arrive in a green spring.

In my opinion, it’s an optimal time for buying Ethereum. You can certainly wait a small correction and buy at a price of 160-180$ for 1 ether. Vitalik Buterin is preparing a great update of the platform, and I think that the price can be strong. We all remember the beginning of 2017when the Ethereum cost 10$ has escalated to 200-300$ within 2-3 months. In general, my opinion is following: if you want to earn you need to keep.

During the las days ETH seems to be increasing again and it is a positive sign. I didn't work with ETH last time because it was not so strong and raising in price.

ETH was around $20 last 2016 and I didn't took the chance of buying when it was there.

Can't say what season where are we right now but there's clarity on my point of view and that is we are still in the bear market. And if you aim to see ETH @$1000 for this year, no can guarantee you that its possible. You saw its downfall and high's as well while waiting for that uplifting season, buy more of it.

I like Ethereum as a cryptocurrency. But I am not completely sure that it will be able to grow quickly as well as last year, as the market at the moment is quite different. I think that now is the perfect season to shop and wait for positive changes

Ethereum will return to its highest point ever if it is not die suddenly. But EThereum dies is thing which almost can not happen. So, let's wait the recovering season of Ethereum in forthcoming time, but not at this year.

it's impossible for eth to reach $1000 again before eth fixes some of the problems or complaints that occur at this time. indeed eth is still a favorite of many ico and investors are still loyal to continue to hold eth, but this is not a fundamental reason for eth to reach ATH again.

Now eth just on sideway phase, its trying to break the resistance on $300. If it already breaked out, easy for eth to reach $500, I think if this month eth can break the resistance, I believe that end of this year can reach at least $500.

Welcome to the crypto world where things happen unexpected, eth is a great project which I think have every capacity to grow beyond $1000 when its bull time comes ,so don't be afraid just hold if you have some bags or buy more if you don't or even have cause it will surely surpase the ATH it was when it moon, we are currently in general bear market so all coin are in down time not only eth.

many say all the coins will pump after the next year, because everyone proves that, but I myself am a little hesitant. but that assumption continues to spread to the bottom (bounty hunter) to date. and everyone is waiting for those days.

Ethereum is at its recovery stage.Those who were trying to earn a quick buck should invest on ethereum because the price will keep on increasing  in the upcoming weeks. Although the recovery will not be that high, it is better than nothing or decrease in price.

Now is not such a great time when cryptocurrencies have reached their boom. I think that Ethereum will be able to grow significantly closer to 2019, but such growth as it was last year is very unlikely or hard to achieve. I don't think we'll be able to watch it soon.

I'm not encourages people but for me this is a good opportunity for buying ethereum in a cheap price. There's a lot of prediction about the price of ethereum, the other said it will go to 50$ and some of them 1000$ but for me it doesn't matter if how will be the price of it, only I know it will be more stronger than other.

Ethereum is on a really bad bearish trend. I know that this cannot be the end of the coin, there's certainty that the coin will rise above its present challenges and will bounce back in due time. How much growth it will experience in the next couple of months, no one knows for a fact, but there definitely will be some growth.

I also still believe in crypto currencies and in ETH. I think ETH is the greatest altcoin that is too undervalued at the moment. One day it will bounce back, achieve the new price records and will be at the top of crypto currencies market.

It may not be the greatest altcoin but at least it is the most used in terms of preferable smart contract platform basically for its first mover’s advantage, and also like the second to bitcoin in market capitalization. The market has really bottomed enough and has shown signs lately of a possible reversal and at this price, I really would not be taking any chances not to want to invest for the long term actually.

In my opinion 170 dollar is the lowest price tag for ethereum and i think 200 dollar value is also the bottom. Maybe whales dump it 1 or 2 times more to 170 with creating unreal fuds but i believe that is the really good opportunity for ethereum. We need to accumulate more and more . You know january eth hit 1500 dolar price tag. So why not again.. that is clear we will see more than 1500 dolar in the future.

You are right, ETH is facing it's tough situation. It is a strong contender it will never give up very quickly. Hopefully it will be back with a bang as it will recover slowly and rock again.

The heads of this year were nice for the ethereum. But by the end of the year there was a fall in the market. My idea for the year 2019 will be a nice year for the ethereum

ETH market movements are not good, in the future all things can happen, the rise and fall of ETH prices cannot be predicted, we will see later, if it will go up or down everything can happen.

ETH like most other cryptocurrencies is in standby mode. Many factors affect its price. But I still think that the probability of price increase is higher than the fall.

ETH was at $1300 back in January at peak time. I think ETH will have some more bullish like now, and it will go further dip like $150 before the bullrun. So, it's a kinda buy zone but you should wait for having at some lower price.

At this moment as market looks I think we have to wait a little more time till market will be back like before at 18-20k per 1 bitcoin and almost $1k for 1 ethereum. I think we have to wait till 2019's summer .

See 2016-2017 was golden year for crypto and 2017-2018 are equally worst with that we can think positive  ;D . But seriosly according to me it will rise around $500 at the end of this year.

   We can speculate, I believe that Ethereum touched bottom. This $200 is nice price compared with price few years ago. Most of the coins
were cheap before they reached this high prices. It takes time and a lot of work. As I see guys from Ethereum team work a lot and that

I believe eth won't rise up by itself but it will rise up together with the market afeter the bull run. I'm not seeing eth capable of rising itself cause theres nothing new with eth and it has a lot if competitors who's doing better.

I guess its not gonna go down anymore because it has reached a market cap which is always present in the ETH platform no matter what. I don't think the ETH will return in 2015, eth will retain its current position or will rise again slowly, but for the statement that eth will return to $ 1000 by the end of this year I don't think it's possible because it needs greater support, maybe eth will slowly to $ 1000
