I see that the price of Bitcoin is still around $ 6500. Maybe I am one of the many people who expect bitcoin to jump to more than $ 10,000. Until now, I can only hope this will happen in the coming months in 2018. I think being patient and having high hopes optimistically will be a loyal friend in this mind.

giving up is really not an option in my bitcoin investment because bitcoin may seem to be down at the moment but  I know it has the tendency to increase in the shortest possible time.

Nevrmind if next months it will reach 10K or will even fall to 4.5K. Keep an eye to 2021 - 200K is NOT the limit for that term! :)

You need just follow the main rule of investment in cryptocurrency: You have lost you money by buying any coin. And also you don't need to hold all the eggs in one basket! Life will be easier if you follow this simple rules.

I think that once the flat period lasted for 1-4 years, then approximately we will wait for the price to rise to the previous values.

One need not to optimistic about high market value of Bitcoin in the remaining month of 2018 because this year cannot in any way be compared to that of last year, though   this year cannot in any way be seeing as the worst year for Bitcoin and crypto currency in general growth.
Patients/ holding is all we need to help the market recover from this downward trend.

Giving up now will be term as suicidal  ;D Going by the history this is actually the best time to buy and invest spare money in it and waiting for two years to come for the great harvest because as predicted Bitcoin will hit over  $200,000

Bitcoin price as at today is sympathetic and the year in general. Frustration cannot cannot quit looses but by surmounting courage can yield endless result, so, never give up on Bitcoin as the remaining months might just be a cover up for all the looses.  

If you are in the digital currency especially im this bitcoin or other altcoins , you will encounter many odds especially if you are new in this business , the market are falling down of prices , there are bounty ICOs that are scams , there are many hackers in the cryptoworld , but with all of this do not give up ,continue to trust crypto and work hard for it and be patient always.

It's pertinent and germane to note that optimism has no effect on the market whatsoever,while it will be good to be optimistic,it really changes nothing..

Agree with you, please be patient and wait for the high price. Price fluctuations are still occurring. Price fluctuations are creating waves on the price chart of bitcoin and we are expecting bigger waves. I believe that with a price of $ 10,000 it can still be achieved this year.

Yes, Many people gave up on Bitcoin price. But I am like you who think Bitcoin price will react at least 10-12K USD at the end of this year. This can happen at the end of November or in the mid-December. Last year, who knew bitcoin was going to hit 19K USD? Can't we hope for 12K USD this year? Everything is possible in the crypto field. Bitcoin price can rise over a night. So, Don't give up!

OP has a very positive attitude towards his trust with btc and to the rest of the people who believed in it's capability. I also had high regard and trust in btc even before as I had observed it's potential growth in the past Q4 of 2017. For those people who happen to lose hope, you may have to extend your patience and look on the brighter side of btc for you might be wrong with your decision in giving up. Be positive for btc will make a good recovery in the coming months.

Honestly when you’ve invested at a higher price without taking precaution and the risk of losing is already suicidal. But giving up and selling at this low price, the term would be double dead 💀.

The hype last year when $20000 on December 2017 + newbie investors is equal to a disaster. That surely hurt the wallet of those who never understand bitcoin market.

Ofcourse we won't give up. We are the bitcoin hodlers and if i would speak for my own, i would say that i am going to have the bitcoin until i die. I would never risk that if the bitcoin price goes like $50.000, that day i should have bitcoin in my wallet. So i i need the money sometimes i sell a part of it but i would never sell all of it..

Well, I've been patient quite long tho, but believe me being patient isn't the option, the only thing that you need to do is just make your own other bussiness or try to go work in many other place, because we don't know nothing about how we grow the prices up. So just let it flow.

Giving up is not for you and this is not the option to be patient and wait in a long term and do not give up because the time will come when the price increases.

More of moral sadness, but in reality the dumber the new investors are the better for the long-term hodler. That’s the truth! And it hurts literally to them a hundred folds not because of our own action, but by they’re own.

the meaning of giving is really not a way to make a choice in my bitcoin investment because bitcoin may seem to have dropped out at these moments but we know that it will have a price increase at the lowest possible time.

Then you need to change your mindset and accept the fact that bitcoin will not jump to 5 figures this 2018. There's no catalyst for the market to even get to $10K. Those who FOMO last year and suffered a lost where already out and will not enter anytime soon.

There are many optimistic people here that doesn't want to share their sentiment because they are busy with some other things. You invested to bitcoin and you decided to be a holder, think about the future and don't listen to many disruptive news that wants people to panic.

yes, new hope will continue to arrive in each moon, when you will give up, but you still have tomorrow, so don't give up, because that can be the thing that builds our success. well, regarding the price of bitcoin, I think there are still many possibilities to see the price getting higher.

We have to not depend on one thing which the price is not good for today and worth to wait for future. Learn to have earnings in other way to make living and buy some of crypto for investment to hold and giving up is not an option. You have another choice and you have to work for it for the success of the other. When you have many source, you do not have to give up but make them grow more.

Giving up is not a good idea mate.  Especially if you have huge losses on it.  Which is much better to stay away and take a break instead giving up. Because you cannot regain forever your losses on it .which can cause repenting and become frustrated as well at the end.  .

It's not always like this. In 2016 people had many opportunities to unload everything especially since they could buy at $350 and sell at $650 in a matter of weeks between April and May. It did not happen. The majority quickly forgot about the bear trend and kept buying above 600 USD. They did not want to buy at $300 2 months before but they were buying at 600 now. Inner workings of human mind.

Well all of us wants that because we can get a good profit when bitcoin jump to 10k but as of now in the bearish market it's hard to say to reach 10k price. But nothing is impossible who knows one day we see bitcoin in a highest price again.

Giving up will lose you forever in crypto and would not recover your fund anymore. Digital world is not something to giveup because the price is going to recover not now but later on you just have to keep holding and being patient and that will be worth it. We do expect that bitcoin will jump not only to $10,000 but to $20,000 again and more. As a return to the long correction that we've been through speculators think that's enough for a long drive upwards for bitcoin's ceiling.

We still got 3 months left to fill all those expectations and its impossible that nothing is going to happen.

Many people said the stable price of bitcoin as it has happened in the past few months makes everyone thought bitcoin will be used as a safe investment, like gold and many merchants will accept bitcoin as a payment system without hesitation.

I having heard from some people that said bitcoin is a magic place to make money, only need a few days they will get money and make him being rich. I don't think that was a good news for us, because will come many people to this place and spend a lot of money without learning what bitcoin is. So as when he found a loss he would talk negative things about bitcoin to someone else. This will make a bad image of bitcoin in the future.

I do not feel like the drop in price is the trouble with bitcoin and I am not considering getting out because it went down. I feel like the swings are the problem, I feel like going up and down this quickly doesn't make it easy to accept bitcoin as a payment option.

You can take any amount of money you want from your customers for bitcoin and when the money is with you are not getting exactly the same amount. If you cash out right away you may get something close however if you do not than your money swings like crazy up or down. I feel like stabilizing would kill bitcoin but also swings are killing it for me as well.

You miss an important factor which was likely at play back in the day and which is absent today. First of all, how could the price go from $300 to $650 in a matter of weeks if no one had been buying? But this is a minor issue. The major one is that people who were buying in September, 2016 (as it was then when the prices had started to rise in earnest), and from then on, were mostly first-time buyers, and there were plenty of them at that point. Theoretically, if many millions of new comers enter the Bitcoin market right now, all resistance will be double-penetrated brutally in less than no time, but personally, I don't believe there is a good store of fresh souls willing to accomplish this feat. That's why things may be and likely are different today

You're right,restoring the market with the BTC hodl is a good method,but there are daily traders who play there to make a profit.by the way We all know that market value will grow if there is a lot of demand and it must be done by every trader.of awareness to grow it difficult But this year is't so bad the value is getting better.

Well exactly by having patience we can indeed hold our btc until it can start for the recovery of price. Also hard to compare the value always from last year and this year. But eventually we could hope for the best price of btc to increase this late year ends.

For people who just trade bitcoin to make more money in return it is easy to tell others not to give up but the problem is some of us are not into bitcoin because we want to get rich with trading (even tho all of us trade here and there sometimes).

I for one am a person who accepts bitcoin as a payment method, which means I do not try to make more money by trading (well until I get the money to the point where I cash out the price changes so I kiiiinda trade) but with just accepting bitcoin, I even give discounts when accepting bitcoin. Back when price went up that was a good thing but right now it is getting worse and worse.

i dont see if give up is a good way for every crypto enthusiast facing current market situation, bitcoin price showed stable and will remain stagnant until the end of this year in approx $6000 - $9000. dont ever quit for what you have started in cryptocurrency, because quitter will always regret of their decision. I will be patient and not give up on the falling market. What is certain is that bitcoin can still survive and have the highest value in crypto, and there will be opportunities for bitcoin to grow back and provide profits.

Consistency is the most important thing in cryptocurrency investment. You will have to believe in bitcoin if you want to make money form it in the future. If you quit, your source of income will stop. Therefore you should be confident, patient and courageous and optimistic about the future of bitcoin. Be strong to face the rough conditions of the market. 

Yeah it is good idea you can split your investment in different coins and you may be able to recover your deficits in rising coins. But don’t even think of quitting crypto market. The money you lost will never be recovered. You should stay here and try to trade in affective way so that you return your lost money. It is important for your trust in cryptocurrency.

I agree with you and I will also advised that we should not give up! This moment we are is a preparations for another bull run and holders are the one that are going to make good money in some days, months and years to come.  I think we should build positive mind set on cryptocurrencies market as this is the major way we can makes profits from the market in future.  If you sell now you are going to lose in future and maybe when bitcoin is going to recover you may not have any in your wallet.

It will definitely goes up more than the 10,000 USD price prediction but it will take some time. It move up gradually base on market demand and supply . Bitcoins is not a shit coin to speculate on pump and dump but real market forces.

It should happen though. But nothing can be predicted as of now as you know. Current stable and slow growth is indeed needed and it seems there is going to be a good growth down the line and this is what is expected. Every 4th quarter in the past years, had a good growth. We can expect the same happening  on this 4th quarter as well. Lots and lots are manipulating the price of crypto currencies. Hope to have a good come back like last year well in advance in November this year. We should see minimum $15k this year.

Yes all we can do is expect the market situation to get better and we need to contribute from our end by advising forum users not to sell bitcoin now as it will create less supply in the market with more demands. I hope bull run will be there this year even though the possibilities are less.

I am too is patiently waiting for the bull run to come again, i don't like to sell at loss, i will be waiting until it's coming back. I feel you we all the same feelings about Bitcoin price hopes and patience is what we have right now but if you truly believe you will continue what you start doing in bitcoin and crypto. All things will be back on track again just keep hoping and patience.

The common notion between everyone is the same. We all believe bitcoin will go up, we all believe specially during the 2020 halving time bitcoin price will be really much more than what it is today but we are also really afraid to see when that will happen and how that will happen at the same time.

Right now if you tell someone go buy bitcoin at this price they will hesitate but if you ask the same person if they believe bitcoin will be x3 by 2021 they will say it will easily be x3 and even more. Now think about it, what type of investment really gives a x3 increase in profit in 3 year period ? There are really none that can actually do that, however bitcoin is quite possible to be 21 thousand dollars in 3 years.

Even with all that info in our minds we are scared, we are scared that governments may do something about it, we are scared that miners may do something about it, we are scared that whales may do something about it and we are scared the exchanges will have some sort of trouble with it.

All of this combined makes us really scared to buy right now even with the knowledge that it will probably the best investment we have made.

Yeah this is the main point; we should not give up bitcoin and stay here in this bearish situation. Although we are not making any money in present, but in future we will earn big money, because this bearish situation will not last for long and will be covered by good days in the near future. We are all experiencing such expectation of this Q4 of this year 2018 which mostly BTC or the entire market do rise up but we are seeing now the opposite thing.Even how optimistic we are,it cant really be avoided

It is not easy to say do not give up while your capital or whole money is on a cryptocurrency that has been trending downwards for the past 10 months. Yet if the coin is solid and still hope the developers can fulfil their promise on the project then is worth waiting without given up.

I react by converting from various altcoins that I have to about 5 coins that I consider to be good, especially bitcoin. too bad to analyze everything because the average is still waiting for the momentum of bitcoin.
