Oh my, the market is looking all red so bad that can see nothing but the red all over the place.
What is the reason behind this massive market crash in the middle of this month of November?
Everybody is expecting another crypto boom by the end of this year like the last, why the crash now?

Don't be dismay concerning the current price but hope for a greater tomorrow were the market price will boom again. This has show us that digital currency are asset and we must all wait patiently to reap out our labour. The mighty are crawling.........Hold don't sell till the tumor is over. 

The crash was an unexpected situation that occurred lately, and it made me surprised when I woke after a deep sleep. I think the panic and bearish wasn't over yet and based on the lists of coins shown here most of them were at very dumped price. This is not good to see for now, so we needed to be within our control when we see this kind of trends of crypto, because if you won't do that you'll lose everything.

Really not really good. Although, I was not expecting a rapid price increase this end of the year but the blood bath is also rather not expected. My expectation to the end of the year was that market price will maintain the range.

There we have it, ultimately breaking the $5800 low that we once thought was rock solid for a while. I never though it wiuld be a fast decline for bitcoin overnight seeing how clumsy the sell orders were just hours ago. Every top coin seems to be on the red right now, hinting that almost everyone is pulling out their money from crypto on the upcoming Black Friday, but what does it really mean? Things are getting quite interesting as bitcoin seemed to once again, deviate from its normal price trajectory at the end of the month.

I just saw that price dumping and pumping a while ago in marketcap and it's quite fast to just happen within a couple of minutes the price was slowly dumping and dumping until it stuck at $5500. This -1000 of dollars in the bitcoin market seems frustrating to look because we haven't yet recovering from the dump and yet here it is we got another dump.

Yes market is red but disregarding the USD price, some alts on my portfolios are still having the same value or no movement at all in terms of BTC price. So nothing will changed on my strategy since the purpose is to hold.

The current situation will test people's own way of making an analyzation on what to do. This is gonna be tough if price will break down more in the following days.

What to do next? Buy or dump, it's on our own hands.

Because nobody was expecting it. Bitcoin always does the unexpected. A good indicator is tradingview. When most people there say that it's over and it's going to go down hard you can expect that it will go up and when they predict an uptrend you can expect that it will go down. last week most of them predicted that since we were going flat for so long we have to had bottomed out. Guess what, they were wrong!

This is the best timing to buy cryptocurrencies which have low prices or value and wait for the mean time to its price to become high again. Hodling is the key. Perfect chance to invest your money with almost all alts and cryptos are mostly red from the market.

I can't find any logical explanation for what happened.
It was a sudden drop, Bitcoin lost more than 10℅ of its price in few hours!!
Let's hope holders do not get scared and start panicking.

I used to changed my expectation that a boom wouldn't come by end of the year so I won't be expecting something. If the market crashes then that's unexpected but I'm not expecting more of it.
Don't panic, the market is red for now but it will go green afterwards. This isn't really a new scenario in the market, there's time to heal, there's time to feel weak, there's time to hold. The reason for the said crash is speculated and has relation to the fork.

And guess what? Tomorrow it will all be green again so you have nothing to worry about (long term).
Shut down your computer and go outside, get some fresh air and forget this turbulence even happened.

Expecting a market bullish run after the bearish market, hopeful that this is the last market correction, no need to panic  sure the future which is near will tend to compensate for the bearish market we have experience since the year 2018 began

This could just be a start to a better value of those coins that should really have one.
Bitcoin dragging every altcoin though is not new anymore. That will always happen since mostly are converted to bitcoin to know what the value of each.

Been expecting the same since this is the month when the price is usually increasing or pumping but it is not happening now so I think we should not compare the price change this time. Instead of panicking, I think we should take this as an advantage to our investments and buy now while the price is low. When the price pumps, it will be a good and great investment.

I agree. Or rather it will rise but not that much, because it is to hard to rise from that kind of dump. But then everyone should do hodl and wait for some more time. This year is probably not a good year for crypto currency. But next year will probably be. This year is the dump and next year is the pump.

Yes all coins in the exchange market all follow the price of Bitcoin, if the price of a bitcoin falls automatically the price of Altcoin will fall too, I see the case now because of the Fork BCH that will occur on November 15, I read an article about the fall in Bitcoin prices now because people are affected by the Fork BCH, but I'm not affected by the news, I think more positively now, if Bitcoin falls now because there are whales selling large volumes of bitcoin so the price of bitcoin falls.

Most of us are trader, and all of traders wants profit. No more long term holding, people will sell their cryptocurrency if they get chance to gain profit in form of fiat. They will buy those cryptocurrencies again after the price fall.

That is just people's prediction about the boom by the end of this year but there is no evidence. We should not be so serious now, I think this boom will explode next year.2018 is a year to learn about cryptocurrency.

The drop in the price is based on stupidity amongst Bitcoin speculators that does not understand the difference between Bitcoin <BTC> and Bitcoin Cash.

Today is the Bitcoin Cash fork and speculators are reading a lot of FUD in mainstream media about a war in the Bitcoin world. They do not know that the Bitcoin Cash war has nothing to do with Bitcoin <BTC> so they start to panic and they start selling the wrong coin.  ::)

This has a ripple affect on all the markets, because some ignorant people are trigger happy when they see the slightest drop in the price.  ::)

The opportunist investor will see their mistake and buy some cheap coins now, to make some good short-term profits when the people start buying back their coins.  ::)

it looks like the market is starting to fluctuate againand this is not a bad thing in some parts, prices have come out of stability in the last few days, hopefully the volatile prices are back and of course several other factors such as BAKKT, can bring prices back to bounce up

There's a massive selling that's happening right now due to bitcoin cash fork and likely I don't get it why people are getting clever now and seems they're on bitcoin cash side. Hopefully, bitcoin will get back to its shape.

I have bitcoins since it was 200 dollars, I can wait to drop more before I start to panic. Low periods will wipe out unbelievers and shitcoin holders, that is a sure thing. This year we have many red days, and a lot of panic among new people in crypto. They are desperate, they didn't expect all this to happen, they had other plans, to be millionaires already.
Bitcoin is in great shape if you ask me, this is a good ground for future. Price can't jump up when ever we wish it, give it some time, adoption is not a fast process, many good things are waiting for us and price will grow once again, nothing happen over night with crypto, except with pump and dump shitcoins, gamble with them if you wish fast money.

I think you can add your thread the view of coinmarketcap today's! Ethereum has fallen its rank. Ripple is number two now.

Honestly hope its another year at this level...maybe even down another 15%.... whoever these traders are that come in and don't see the pumps have to go get a job at some point.

The next wave, 2020 or even 2021, it's going to be the same annoying spike we had in December where people never think "this isn't normal or going to last." Nothing goes up like that without falling. The harder the fall, the more we see who is in this for the right reasons.

The market was being red for a couple of months this year then all of a sudden it goes down more than what we unexpected to be happen.

But I would agreed that majority of the community holders now are expecting that crypto and bitcoin will boom soon before end of this year.

I do not have any idea or reason why the market are in red and even the top cryptocurrency are in red also. I hope the crash of the market will not continue because it not totally good and many people will think that it is the end. I do not expect that in the end of this year the price of cryptocurrency will go to the moon.

Some think that it was the confusion about the BCH fork.  Many think that if BCH fork, it will greatly affect Bitcoin price negatively so therefore some who think that Bitcoin will go down shorted their trades, then weak hands followed.  And almost all altcoin goes down when Bitcoin sees a fall in price.  I hope this is a bear trap so we can see Bitcoin break its ATH again soon, just like what happen last year.

There is no exact reason for the latest crash. But as you can see, it's still fair because it's not only Bitcoin that plummets but all top coins do. There might be reasons behind this, so we have to stay still and hope for the best to come.

It is really hard to predict prices, almost all of us right now thinking that we will see lover levels of price than right now, but this could be time when is smart money invested also. Bakkt is just another over-hyped venture. Bitcoin needs something bigger. And right now I can't think about anything like that, at least for the next 1-2 years. So I won't be surprised if the prices stay down for another couple of years.

Friends, calm down because even though the market is red but the market still has the opportunity to be green and will generate profits in the future, keep holding and don't sell in panic.

I have yet to hear an explanation that makes sense to me as to why the market is dropping the way it is--just like most explanations don't really explain market movements in general.  It is what it is, and the crypto market does this from time to time.  If you're like me, you're thinking that now would be a good time to buy (bitcoin, at least).

People were complaining about the market trading sideways for months and now that it made a movement, (some) people are freaking out.  I have plans to spend my sig campaign earnings this week, so the drop is a little disappointing if the price stays in the $5000 range, but I've come to expect stuff like this.

I anticipate the Bitcoin market will come back at the end of the year but when I see the red, I feel very sad. It may take longer for Bitcoin to come back and I will still believe in it and wait.

The dumping price of cryptocurrencies are the best time to invest in it, as they would not forever be decreasing. Although the bull run predictions seems not to happen as early as this year, growing community and economy of cryptocurrency is still incresing, thus increasing both of the demand and the price.

I think the market manipulators have come back and are making a new turn. It makes us confused about the new trend of the market. We can not expect something big in the crypto market anymore. There will be no pumping at the end of the year.

I think its because many people are buying BCH and start to sell their asset and also in the others hand people just not sure that the hard for of BCH will be a usefull coins so there is also mass sell in BCH. I think the main reasons why market are going down right now is cause uncertainty and fear of lose.

If ask me I will tell you that the red status of the crypto market is not an unexpected event to me the cryptocurrency usually faced much dump in price than pump in price during the lastg two months of every Q4 of the year. However, the best we can do now is to seize the chance the red market have to offer for the future market.

We can't do anything at this point. They're on a war right way, and we don't care who will be on that because they're still alternatives as we see it. Maybe in the next couple of days after the hardfork is finished everything will be back to normal and we're going to see the price of bitcoin around the $6000 range. And don't believed others saying that its the end, because its not. Just continue to HODL or even better, buy tons of bitcoin today and continue to accumulate. I agreed on what you are saying mate, yes and this moment we can't do anything is just to hold our crypto assets, besides, it is the right way to invest while the crypto market has dropped and very cheap. A lot of speculations regarding on what will happen now, some says it because of BCH fork and other says it because of banning miners in the Country of China. Well, what it does matter at least we are ready for the possible bull run to happen after this forks. Be ready and invest as much you can afford to invest.

It is all due to the Bitcoin cash hard fork. There has been too many sell off by people. Most people have converted their cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin cash so as to have the new forked bitcoin cash.

Nothing to do with the Bcash war. It's all about manipulation to clean the market while waiting for an approval from the SEC. I heard a news that There is a Bch hardfork this coming November 18,i am sure that it is one of the reason why all token prices fall because many token holders now panic selling their tokens.

Yes you're right.. for current situation may be we can't expect to gain a lot of profit because it really difficult to be realize. We should sell whenever we get chance to sell eventhough we just can earn 2-3% profit. We should be realistic because we never know what will happen in the future.

Market have red again because bitcoin price is dump, all of altcoin keep allow with bitcoin price at lower price, just wait and hold your asset until everything is back to higher price again with bitcoin or altcoin at higher price.

I always hate when i see the market is in red because it will be difficult for us to trade or to buy and sell coins because it is very risky and it will be difficult for us to hold most of our coins, that is why a lot of people are now panic selling.

Altough I did not hink that there will be similar market action as a year ago, this was suprising to me.
My view is that, this is another market manipulation, because the ther eis no other explanation for this suuden sharp drop, thru the support we have tested several times this year.

I don't think the bitcoin cash hard fork could cause the whole crypto-currencies trading market to plunge so much in values in the whole market capitalization, I guess maybe a huge group of crypto-currencies holders have decided they had enough of waiting for the crypto-currencies trading market to recover and since there were no signs of recovery, they had ran out of patience and sold away their crypto-currencies at a loss.

Hard to determining the cause market drop recently. Market cap value already decrease more than 70% from highest value but bitcoin dominance in market still above 50%. I think its good time for buying more good coin in market because the price is very low

It was said that the current drop was due to the Bitcoin hashing war. So people are caught in the middle so they might have decided to stay out of this and just enter when everything has settled down.

Craig Wright even threaten to sell all his bitcoin just to coins his BCH SV against BCH ABC. It sounds scary but what can we do? I'm sure that people will see this as a perfect opportunity if the price continue to go down hard.

Everything was so logical and expected that I was 90% sure that the cryptocurrency market will fall even lower. Carry out a technical analysis and you will realize that Bitcoin tends to go
$ 3000-4000. There is no news about this situation, just psychology of all market participants.

I don't know the actual causes of recent market crash but I think this is the last last crash before market spike moon. There are lot of good news coming end of the year and next month bakth will launch and few big financial organization show their interest about bitcoin so very soon we will see all green market.

Well many people say it was because of the hardfork of bch, and many say it was because of the whales who sold out their coins and many panic seller just because the market falls down then they panic and afraid to loose their money, holders always win in the end of this long run.

No doubt that 2018 is a year of the bear because the whole crypto market is mostly bearish since bitcoin start to fall last January. A bullrun is still possible before year end but it still depend on some factors that may happen in the coming days. That bitcoin cash fork has already made a toll on bitcoin's price but it can still recover some of its losses before this month end. Bitcoin is known to be resilient so there is still a chance of recovery before holidays start in december.

The market so far was still in bad shape condition. Trading was really too unpredictable, we cannot say when will the recovering of the coin value can able to start again or bounce again. That was really hard to guess it, isn't? other's may give there opinions and speculations but not enough to consider to say it is precisely correct if this will make it happen.

I think the current red market can be an opportunity that will be very profitable if utilized as much as possible by making large purchases and it will automatically make the price move up where you will get a lot of profits, but if you can't buy, at least you do not sell panic because it will make prices fall even deeper

Looking at the chart can be helpful inorder to be aware what's going on with the market, but sometimes it can be very discouraging and distressing. However, I think it's not the first time it ever happens, market has been very volatile for years but it was to manage for its recovery. Don't lose hope, stay positive, and patient. It's not all about winnings, sometimes we need to go through a certain stressful situation for us to become stronger and wiser.

It can also be a trapped in some ways, since there's a lots of whales around who's holding numerous numbers of assets, they can easily bring the price ups or down when they seen good opportunities, we can't do anything right now but the wiser thing to do is keep your assets safe and stay away from this business,  it will only harmed your investment if you will continue looking inside the situations can move you and decide wrongly.

For me it is not true as I know the waiting gives fruitful ending and at the same time if we will focus on positive things then there will no negativity in our life, we all just need patience and time to hold our investment, if we will not show impatience so we will not have to sell our coin at very early stage and income will be high as price us to increase thousands of dollars even par day.

I'm shocked about it. It wasn't expected, really strange to see BTC's price keeps falling without limits. Usually when the year is finishing BTC's price tends to rise (and a lot), however we are not seeing this happening now.

Why is there so much fear and uncertainties on the market? It should be a time for recovery after a hard year.
Maybe December can bring good surprises. I hope so, at least a Christmas gift in the end.

History repeat itself just like last year when market was down with so many adversaries happened opposing bitcoin from SEC and rejecting ETF. We are still hopeful that we could see another great run from bitcoin before the end of the year as well as to all altcoins and see green uptrend again.

If you are going to look at how the market is going for the past few months you'll be able to obserrve that  there contunuous dips despite of the struggle to keep the bars up high. Really sad to see how bad the market is right now. As of the graph that you have posted it is clear that there had been tremendous movement downwards for the top coins. Is this caused by a hidden action of few pump dump groups or was it just a coincidence? We just want to hope that there will come a huge reversal for all coins.

we are like playing emotion and fear , if we are afraid we are destroyed while if we are emotional we can also be destroyed but we can see that there is good potential in the future that makes us win , then we must always refrain from being carried away Bitcoin prices sometimes make everyone panic , so their decisions are always waiting for opportunities to profit and always monitor prices.

I think we can still chuck this up to price correction. These things really take time especially from how high we were early this year. But look at the silver lining of this, if the market is in the red then we can buy coins for cheap and wait for the market to be green again and see actual profits from it. There are many reasons for crypto collapse now, first for the BCH itself the reason is because there is a conflict between BCHabc and BCHsv with different hashes, and there is also information about the whales holders that make the pump, but some say this is a correction for this month.

Well, that is what happens when the boss decides to take the leap of faith downwards, and then possibly we just have to see how we go from here with bitcoin's breakdown downwards, at this stage, I will gladly be very careful trading any market at all, considering that the possibilities of the whole market getting drenched in blood is about to happen, if we get to see bitcoin crash lower. For what it is worth, for those of us who have been keeping some cash available for the blood season, I guess this is about time we get to see more action now eventually to pop in the cash when we eventually hit that bottom.

This is a part of the market no one can change, but one thing we cannot also change is the fact that this market is most definitely going to increase the more from here in the long run, no doubt about that. There are still things that are going to be fix in the cryptomarket ,because the bear market is still running causing some red values of tokens and coins in the market cap , there are still factors that continue to be the reasons ,why this market is still red all the way until today.

I do not think the current dip is due to history repeat of anything like that. Actually BCH is responsible for this downfall for it. Even i see a news that  big mining companies are directed to mine BCHABC instead of BTC, just to win this race.

I think there is nothing new in the present situation of the market, it will always repeat ifself. Last year's bullrun is not likely happen again in the following year because it will go through accumulation phase first that take time before it's over. But while the market is still in red, it is also the best time to buy coins in lower price. Ethereum for example is now less than $200 , it is more affordable now than last month. Red market will not last, the color will change again in the coming weeks.

I am not gonna lie I was one of those people who said "bitcoin can't go any lower, miners wouldn't allow it" and here we are. Miners were the exact reason why it dropped, they care about their projects and their profits more than the bitcoin space itself. As long as they are making millions of dollars they do not care if bitcoin is dead or alive, they don't care if the price is 20 thousand or 20 dollars, they do not care if there are a million people active or just 10, the only thing they care about is how much money they make.

As long as they are making profit, all crypto can die. However what they do not realize is that if they kill crypto so much and make so many people lose money, they will not be loved or even liked. Which will result with bad business network for them because no one would want to work with them. Results could be really dangerous.

Did you even read the previous posts after yours? I don't even see a negative comment not even a single one. If you read some of the post even just the first two pages of the thread most of what you will see is their own take why BTC had fallen so hard or what is their current strategy based on the situation of the market. Please read the other posts before posting a dumb conclusion, so that you avoid making a fool out of yourself on the next time you are in a thread.

I have really missed a good bull run, it has been so long since last time a decent one happened. I am not talking about the time bitcoin went to 20 thousand dollars, that was a unique and a big deal. I am talking about just this summer when bitcoin went from 6 thousands to 7 thousands and once even 8 thousand, we really believed the bull was coming with that. I do not really yearn for that 20 thousand anymore, even if it just goes to 7 and a half thousand dollars it would be really nice.

I just want to see some good greens in the price, for all crypto btw not just bitcoin. It has been a really long time since anything good happened in crypto space, we really need it. I hope this hash wars will end soon and we will just get rid of all bad stuff and find ourselves in good green zone once again.

It is the nature of the market that fall is inevitable. Only thing this time it has fallen only and not risen much. If in between market has rose to couple of thousands $ it would have not hurt much as people would have made money on the increase which did not happened and thus feel are feeling that more dip can happen in the future.

Even on Sunday, XRP dominated bitcoin. Isn't that kind of a bad news since the number 1 has been going down while the number has been continuously pumping? Is it the end of an era? We will never know how much these whales want to bring bitcoin down. There may be some changes we are about to see. You better hold much stronger. I think it is late now to cut your losses either. Leave the market for now and do another job for you not to trigger by the situation. I doubt it can be this red for too long. People know bitcoin worths more than this, the volume is incredibly low right now because people are not looking to get more bitcoins in the midst of a war but as soon as all of this is done and we are back to normal with just one bitcoin cash and whoever decides to hang up their gloves and accepts a loss we will be back on track for a bull run.

I can't see anything that could have melted the market in this manner. It was so sudden and swift, and no evil breaking news. Well, except the ongoing hash tussle within the BCH camp. I am getting worried about the volatility. Of course it is a bad thing that the price went down so much and we have lost so much in the total marketcap and all that, that is really bad, I wish it didn't happen. However the real worrying thing is that bitcoin showed once again how volatile it could be with a flick of a switch.

We had a bitcoin that was around 6-7 thousand dollar range for over 6-7 months without moving too much and in half an hour bitcoin went down like crazy and in another half an hour it went down once again like crazy. It is at a price where everyone thought it "can't ever hit" again, including me. The fact that the price went down is really sad but the worse part is that price CAN go down like this anytime, which makes investors with a fear of "what if" from now on.

The market can only be bad if that is the way you want to see it. Sure, it is a common thing for a lot of people not to like red, but in the real sense, reds are meant for accumulation, so if they come, who actually cares, as I guess the smart ones will actually be looking forward to it to stash up the more for the future. This is a classic coin position before a good pump in December. No need to create a nervous mood and panic-sooner or later everything will return to its place and the market will look completely green with good interest plus.
